“It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of,” said Caleb Followill . “It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable,” Nathan adds. “I love it when a rock band is not embarrassed to admit that every song doesn’t have to be on 11.”

What Are Those Official Platinum Tickets?

If you’re seeing very expensive tickets that are not VIP, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are very expensive and are offered well over the standard ticket prices. They’re the kind of ticket pricing that is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) has priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down, and it usually goes up.

Artists can choose not to offer Official Platinum or limit the amount for charity purposes. The Cure , Pearl Jam and U2 have all been recognized as artists that don’t use these dynamic pricing tactics.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert very easy if you’re willing to shed the extra coin. They can be bought during a presale without a presale code (doesn’t always apply to Verified Fan). Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

If money is not an object, you should definitely bank on the convenience of getting Official Platinum tickets.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account ( go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page ) at least 15 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one,  create one now .

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resell tickets through Ticketmaster’s resell program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend , and see if they have any resell tickets available. We recommend you compare the three options and find out which works best for you.

Alternatively, you can hit it old school style and show up at the concert when the box office opens and wish upon a star that they release more tickets, or hopefully, another concert-goer has an extra ticket to sell at face-value or even giveaway for free. Trust, this happens more often than not! We’ve given away many tickets to sold-out shows simply because our +1 couldn’t make it.

Also, more standard tickets are often released via Ticketmaster 1-3 days leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Beyonce , Taylor Swift , Arctic Monkeys and many more! It’s a secret gatekeeped by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know! So be sure to set your calendar notifications!

Can We Please Have Fun , as its title suggests, is a document of one of this era’s great rock & roll bands cutting loose, trying new things, and, yes, having some fun. Recorded at Dark Horse studio in Nashville and produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine) the album sees a new side of Kings of Leon. On the new album, the band harkens back to their gritty origins while simultaneously finding new gears. It’s the sound of a band unified in vision and purpose, freed from any expectations, and the album the band says they’ve always wanted to make.

It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of,” Caleb says. “It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable,” Nathan adds. “I love it when a rock band is not embarrassed to admit that every song doesn’t have to be on 11.”

The group is gearing up for a monumental year, and they’re ready to take the world by storm. “When you have a band, there’s a bond like no other, and when you have family, you have a bond like no other,” Caleb says. “We have both of those things. I thought, if we put all our energy toward something, who is gonna stop us? Who can stop us except us?”

Kings of Leon (formed in 2000) is an American alternative family rock band hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, in the U.S.

After the divorce of their parents, brothers Nathan and Caleb Followill moved to Nashville, Tennessee where they met songwriter Angelo Petraglia who introduced the pair to the influences of Thin Lizzy, The Rolling Stones and The Clash. In 1999 youngest brother Jared inspired by the Pixies and The Velvet Underground and cousin Matthew also moved to Nashville and Kings of Leon was born.

In 2002 Nathan and Caleb caught the attention of RCA Records who said they would be sending an A&R rep to hear them play. The band kidnapped Matthew from his home and spent a month in the brothers’ basement where they carved out the tracks “Molly’s Chamber”, “California Waiting” and “Wicker Chair”. A year later with Jared still unable to play bass, Kings of Leon released the “Holy Roller Novocaine” EP to critical reviews, receiving a considerable amount of exposure.

Kings of Leon have gone on to be one of the most successful rock bands of the 2000s, fusing their climatic Southern rock and blues influences to increasingly accessible results. The band released their debut “Youth & Young Manhood” in 2003 and subsequently “Aha Shake Heartbreak” in 2004, “Because of the Times” in 2007, “Only by the Night” in 2008, “Come Around Sundown” in 2010 and “Mechanical Bull” in 2013.

The band’s initial success was in the UK with nine Top 40 singles, two BRIT Awards in 2008 and all their five albums peaking in the Top 5 of the UK Albums chart. Following the release of “Only by the Night” in 2008 the band won the hearts of American fans largely helped by the radio-friendly “Sex on Fire”, “Use Somebody” and “Notion”. At the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards the group took home awards for Record of the Year for “Only by the Night”, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for “Use Somebody”.

Due to the band international success and popularity of “Only by the Night” In 2008 Kings of Leon headlined Glastonbury festival followed by headlining slots at Reading & Leeds, Sasquatch, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits the year after.

Live reviews

!!best concert I ever attended!!

Everything (support band and kings of Leon themselves) started perfectly on time and it was a great show. The music was way better than any record could ever capture!! Hitting every note perfectly you could definitely see the band trying to do more than their best while looking so effortless and natural. Somehow every song they performed was "clearer" / more refined or nuanced (as you could hear the different instruments creating a song rather than a blurred, smeared sound as a whole) and kind of more intense than on the record: the slow, sometimes sad ones were more touching and really making me feel the emotion created by the music and the faster ones were much more rocking and engaging. The way they incorporated the audience and the atmosphere with everybody in the crowd singing the lyrics along at the top of their lungs, shouting, dancing and jumping around made it a very special event! As I was standing in the front row the whole event was made even more perfect by the fact that I was able to catch not only one but even two of the huge amount of plectrums (not sure wether this is the right plural of this word ^^) that the whole band was throwing in the crowd during their gig and a friend of mine even got a drum stick! All in all it was an evening full of highlights that made me discover a whole new side to their music but my personal favorite and definitely most emotional moment was a 10 minute version of pyro when the band somehow managed to reach every single person in the audience and make them participate (at least they made me feel like it).

Finally I want to point out that I personally never was I huge Kings of Leon fan - don't get me wrong, I always liked their music and knew the lyrics to their most common songs (like sex on fire, use somebody and waste a moment) but never got really excited for them like I did for other musicians or was actively listening to them, just once in while when I was feeling like it and then only the songs mentioned above. But this concert definitely changed my feelings towards them and reached something in me emotionally which I didn't even know existed! I really don't know how they managed to do that but I feel like I see things differently than before and it was probably one of the best moments in my entire life so far (and I really don't think that anything only close to that will happen to me in the any soon!). I would give everything to see them again soon but I think for me (living in Germany) it was kind of a rare opportunity :(

So to sum up I would really recommend to go see them if you have the chance to as it was a revelation to me! At first I thought that the tickets were too expensive but after this performance I would pay more than twice as much to get to experience a concert of them again.

When it first came to my attention that Kings of Leon had announced a summer series of one-off shows I knew it was vital that I managed to bag a ticket. The announcement soon came after the release of their sixth studio album 'Mechanical Bull' which soared straight to the top of the charts instantly after its release.

It was inevitable that the show would include tracks from this highly anticipated album, but with the bands huge success since they first burst onto the scene in 2003 it was inevitable that their huge number of singles would also be making an appearance. Leading up the performance we were treated with support acts 'Twin Atlantic' and 'HAIM' only giving us a small taster of what we should expect later in the evening. Racking up such a huge following over the years it was only expected that fans of the band would come out in force to see the band in person which is quite a rarity. The set list was carefully selected allowing us to share in their success over the years with a combination of their hits since the start of their career, only ensuring that all the crowds requests were met. It is true that this band do not interact with the audience as much as other artists do, but what they lack in conversation they definitely make up for in talent. Watching this band live felt monumental, they harbour such a talent and have carried with them their rock roots throughout their time in the industry.

Of course their most famous singles 'Sex on Fire' and 'Use Somebody' caused the biggest roar from the crowd all night but combined with their earlier rock ballads, this night was unforgettable. If you were to take anything away from this review, it would be say yes to buying a ticket to see this band as soon as you possibly can.

I had the opportunity to see the Kings of Leon at the Milwaukee Summerfest and other than them coming on late, only singing an hour and a half and not doing my two favorites, I was not disappointed. Since I'm fairly new to the Kings of Leon, I'm not familiar with a lot of their songs but I still enjoyed them tremendously. The songs that I knew sounded even better live than they do on their albums and their performance of most of the songs that I didn't know made me want to add those songs to my collection.

While they aren't the best vocalists, they are excellent musicians and they showcased their skills throughout the show. Additionally, from the time the concert began to the time it ended, it was all about the music. Other than graciously thanking the audience a few times, there was very little dialogue and they truly let the music "speak" in its stead.

After such awesome showmanship, naturally I was extremely disappointed when they concluded their concert after only an hour and a half, especially after not hearing my favorites. As a matter of fact, I was so disappointed that I had initially decided seeing them wasn't worth the two and a half hour drive I took to get there plus the cost of the ticket and that I wouldn't see them again. In hindsight however, I'm glad I went because their performance in and of itself was awesome. The jury is still out as to whether I'll see them again but at this point, I won't rule it out.

Kings of Leon is one of my favorite bands to see live: these guys just tend to have a great time, party, and drink along with the rest of us in the crowd! They have been around for quite a few years and really started taking off in the mid-2000s, but they still know their roots. They are all brothers and cousins so they have a connection all of their own, and Caleb's vocals are like a gateway to let us join in on the family too. They tend to play more arenas and amphitheaters these days since they are so huge, but their sound is perfect for it; these guys rock hard and always leave me walking away satisfied with my ears ringing and a smile on my face. They are another band that don't really rely on visuals and props to supplement their act, they let their instruments and vocals do all of the work, which is all anyone needs.

When you see Kings of Leon live, they don't sound totally like they do on their albums, they sound even better. Everyone can sing along to "Sex on Fire" and "Mary", but their live versions of the songs can be unpredictable and much better to listen to. They mainly play what the crowd wants to hear, basically most of the favorites from the past three albums, but once in a while they will throw in a tune from earlier in their careers. They are always worth seeing when they come around town!

Overall excellent concert. The opening band, The Sherlocks, put up a good performance that tied in quite well with what was yet to come. The KOL concert started with a not-so-impressive stage, but as part of the act, as we had to wait 40 minutes for the full stage, lights, animations, etc to be unleashed. The sound was excellent for a pavilion gig, we were on the stands facing frontally to the stage and sound was clear and enjoyable. They played all songs quite similarly to the albums without any major modifications with a great array. The only couple of things that weren't that perfect were the fact that they could have played a few more songs from the Mechanical Bull album, in my opinion would have tied quite well within the concert, and the fact that they didn't address the audience nor engaged with "us" for the biggest part of the concert, playing all songs straight without any interruptions, no breaks, no big discourses or presentations, and finishing it in 1:45 hours. Taking into consideration their music and albums, we were expecting the show to reach at least 2 hours, but was still a great experience nonetheless.

They were great live! I saw them at the Xfinity center in Mansfield Massachusetts. The opening band was pretty good (Daniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats). They did about six or seven songs as the opener. Kings of Leon came out to a beating heart intro it was neat. They performed some old "classics" such as "Notion", "Use Somebody", and "Sex on Fire". They sounded just like they do on the radio! The lead singer was very professional when the drummer had a flub and they had to stop the song. He just said "Hey that happens sometimes, live music". I thought that was cool that he was so chill about it. He talked a bit then they restarted the song. I think the lead singer has one of those voices that is made better live. He sounded good. They had really awesome background screens that changed designs and patterns. The lighting was fun a bit flashy at times but not too much. They ended the night with "Sex on Fire" and then did an extra song after that. It was a great night and totally worth the hour and a half drive it took us to get there. :) I would go see them again if given the opportunity.

KOL is one of my favorite bands and this was my first time seeing them. Had pit standing tickets and man the show had good energy. I love that they played a lot of their new album as expected but they continued to play their oldies but goodies as well, ending with like 25 total songs played. The songs sounded even better live than the recordings, and their big sound for 4 people was well alive. Their bass guitarist and drumming is a sight to see instrumentally and Caleb's voice was on point. Loved that they played "immortals" which is one of my favorites but honestly knew every song and couldn't of asked for a better set list! Great band, great show, I will be seeing them again!

Best night of my life!! Was supposed to go see them in 2010/3 but missed them & I was heartbroken!

Last night is a night I'll forever remember, I love Kings Of Leon so much! They put on the best show I've ever seen in my life and Calebs smile melted my heart.

This band is my life and to of finally seen them made me cry like a baby but I didn't care, I'm so grateful to have seen them play and I'm already looking forward to when they come back, maybe another 3/4 year wait but it'll be perfect!

Kings was amazing!!!! Although my roommate and I purchased cheap GA tickets we were able to sneak closer to the front.

The show was phenomenal. One kol opened with Closer, the spirit of music came through the amphitheater like a tsunami wave. Cried like a little school girl when they played Tonight. "Tonight, I'm gonna lose my body" needless to say the sound of the music reached out and resonated with the underlying ache in my soul. I know the whole crowd was move when they have a shout to Matt followill for his birthday. HANDS DOWN BEST SHOW IVE BEEN TO. I will forever remember Kings of Leon mechanical bull tour 2014!!!

They were great! Definitely not a boring band, the music is fun and upbeat, the band members were nice to their fans and audience, and I give them lots of credit for their lighting and video displays which attracts attention. Everyone really loved the way they played and that they not only played from their new album, but oldies as well so everyone can sing along. Their stage was awesome with the video effects and lighting which kept you going. I so recommend going to see them, I won't hesitate for next time!

Watch Latin American Music Awards

Carín León , fresh from announcing his upcoming tour and news that he’ll be opening up one of The Rolling Stones’ shows, performed a sparse yet totally satisfying rendition of his recently released single “Cuando La Vida Sea Trago” on the 2024 Latin American Music Awards on Thursday night (April 25).

León, wearing his cowboy hat, kicked off the song from a couch, singing intently and accompanied by his band, with the tuba as a lead instrument.

Here Are the 2024 Latin American Music Awards Winners (Updating)

“Cuando la vida sea trago” was penned by León with hitmakers Edgar Barrera and Keityn and Luis Miguel Castellanos.

The 2024  Latin American Music Awards  took place Thursday, April 25, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas via Univision.

Hitmakers Feid and Peso Pluma lead this year’s list of nominations with 12 nods each. Tickets to León’s Boca Chueca Tour 2024 will go on presale April 30 with general sale May 1. The tour kicks off July 22 in Paso Robles, California.

EDMONTON, Alberta — In recent playoff history, Game 2’s haven’t been kind to the Kings – but they found a way to flip the script against the Edmonton Oilers this time.

After going 0-2 the past two years in Game 2’s against the Oilers, the Kings came out on the right side of a thrilling 5-4 overtime victory on Wednesday night at Rogers Place.

Captain Anze Kopitar scored the game-winning goal just 2:07 into overtime to help the Kings even the best-of-seven, first-round series at 1-1 before it shifts to Los Angeles for the next two games. Game 3 is Friday night at Crypto.com Arena.

Playing in his 94th postseason game to tie Luc Robitaille’s franchise record, Kopitar picked up the puck near the Edmonton blue line, moved in and shot from the slot as Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse dove to try to block the shot. Kopitar’s wrist shot soared into the top corner of the net above Stuart Skinner’s glove.

“Honestly, it was kind of a whacky play where Mikey (Anderson) throws it up the boards, and I think it was Q (Quentin Byfield) who tipped it, or was trying to tip it just to prevent the icing,” Kopitar said. “Next thing you know, I had it right on my stick, so I figured I’d make the most of it.”

Kopitar also had two assists to help his team – eliminated by the Oilers in the first round the previous two seasons – rebound from a 7-4 loss in the opener on Monday night .

“To see Kopi get that one at the end, great to see the goal go in, but I can tell you for me personally, and I’m sure the guys, just for a guy that’s done as much as he has, to get another overtime game-winning goal was special,” Kings interim coach Jim Hiller said. “One game for them, one game for us and now we go to L.A.”

Adrian Kempe scored twice in the first period for the Kings. Drew Doughty also connected, making it 3-1. Kevin Fiala scored in the third, and Cam Talbot made 27 saves.

Dylan Holloway scored twice for Edmonton, tying it at 4-all early in the third period. Brett Kulak and Zach Hyman also scored for the Oilers, and Skinner stopped 21 shots.

It was a huge bounce-back win for the Kings, who didn’t play close to their normal level of play in Game 1.

This one wasn’t pretty, as the Kings squandered leads of 3-1 and 4-3, but not many wins in the playoffs are, and after the Oilers had plenty of momentum after a dominant Game 1 win, the Kings have stolen home-ice advantage.

“It was good. It was a lot better game in terms of managing and making the right plays than we did in Game 1,” Kempe said. “We came out strong. Obviously, we scored a couple goals, which always helps.

“We’ve talked about it before in the playoffs. There’s usually ups and downs – within the series, within the games, so we just got to go about it every shift and try to make the most of it.”

The Kings jumped out to an early lead on Kempe’s second goal of the series. Kopitar picked off an outlet pass from Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard and fed a pass into the slot to Kempe, who made no mistake to give the visitors a 1-0 lead, just 3:19 into the game.

Kempe scored his second of the game with 5:03 remaining in the first period when he batted the puck out of mid-air on a hard pass from Kopitar.

“Everything happened so quick. Kopi threw a pass there, and I don’t know if it bounced off their D-man’s stick, and everything kind of just stopped through the air, and everything was slo-mo, so I just tried to whack it out of the air,” Kempe said.

“I think their goalie thought it was going to go far side, and it ended up going short-side, so it ended up working out well. It was a little bit of luck, but you deserve it sometimes.”

After Kulak’s goal cut the lead to 2-1, Doughty restored the Kings two-goal lead after they capitalized on a neutral zone turnover and Viktor Arvidsson sprung Doughty on a breakaway to score his first of the series.

The Oilers got goals from Hyman and Holloway in the second period to knot the score at 3-3, but the big turning point in the game came late in the second period when Talbot stoned Oilers sniper Leon Draisaitl three different times on an Edmonton power play.

His last save in the waning seconds of the period was arguably his biggest of the season.

“We talked after last game that our PK needed to be better and I said that it started with me and I was trying to do everything I could to keep the puck out of the net and not give them any momentum going into the third period,” Talbot said.

“They make so many good plays, they play with each other all the time, so I was just trying to stay patient and stay in front of the puck for two minutes there.”

In the third, Fiala’s shot from distance beat a screened Skinner just 1:46 into the third to give the Kings a 4-3 lead, but Holloway quickly tied the score again with his second goal of the night just 1:37 later.

The Kings got away from their identity in their Game 1 loss. Their penalty kill gave up three goals, and they had far too many defensive breakdowns, but in Game 2, it was a different story.

The team’s penalty kill unit responded, only allowing one (Hyman’s goal), and as a group they made it much tougher on Edmonton to gain the offensive zone with speed and create chances off the rush.

Veterans like Kopitar and Doughty, veterans of the Kings teams that won Stanley Cup titles in 2012 and 2014, led the way.

“They’re a big part of our team throughout the whole season,” Byfield said. “We all didn’t feel good about our first game, so we had a lot to prove this game and everyone stepped up their game and Kopi led the way.

“Leaders lead, and that’s what we did, we just followed him and it was a lot better.”

Music + concerts, music + concerts | stagecoach and coachella 2024: the differences and similarities of the festivals.

gigs and tours kings of leon presale

The  Stagecoach Country Music Festival  and the  Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival are annual traditions at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. While the festivals share the month of April and happen on consecutive weekends, they usually have some similarities and differences.

One of the most significant differences this year was that Stagecoach sold out, which is rare. Coachella ticket sales usually go within a couple of hours, but it took a month for weekend one to sell out, and weekend two sales stalled. Aside from that, the music, food, activations and more give each festival its identity.

Here are more comparisons between the two festivals:

Coachella: The sounds at the festival have increasingly become international with acts such as Peso Pluma, Cimafunk and Suki Waterhouse , but few rock band headliners have been at the Coachella Stage in a while. This year, Lana Del Rey , Tyler, The Creator and Doja Cat topped the bill, and there was a definite ’90s nostalgia incorporated with the re-emergence of No Doubt and Sublime. More artists perform at the festival each day than at Stagecoach, and Coachella’s last performance usually goes well past midnight while Stagecoach begins and ends earlier.

Stagecoach:  As a country-focused event, it’s no surprise to see major industry names topping the bill, such as Eric Church, Miranda Lambert and Morgan Wallen . Country music is experiencing a huge resurgence on the charts, with everyone trying to tap into the market, including Beyoncé, whose fans are speculating about a surprise appearance. She could show up with Willie Nelson or Post Malone, both performing this weekend and featured on her latest album “Cowboy Carter.” In addition to Post Malone, rapper Jelly Roll has also ventured into country and is part of a new generation of performers at the festival that stands in contrast to the more traditional performers such as Clint Black and Pam Tills.

Both festivals incorporate a variety of EDM at their official and unofficial stages . Coachella hosted DJs such as Bizzrap at the Sahara Tent , guest DJs such as Fat Joe at the Heineken House , and the new Quasar Stage . At Stagecoach, Diplo curates a lineup of DJs at the Honkytonk, which this year includes performances by Cheat Codes, Ship Wrek and James Kennedy .

Diplo is one of the few acts to perform at both events, along with Mexican singer and balladeer Carin León, who is the first to perform in Spanish at both festivals back-to-back. León is a big country music fan and has collaborated with Kane Brown and Walker Hayes.

Coachella: It’s not called the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival for nothing. The event often includes tall and bright-colored interactive structures, and this year was no different. Festivalgoers were treated to a rainbow plaza-like structure, a series of makeshift concrete-looking blocks with internal light projections and another art piece that added color and seating for fans to enjoy .

Stagecoach: The art is less central and more spread out throughout the grounds, but it’s still on brand for the festival. It features a giant horse statue and giant cowboy boots.

The festivals share the massive rainbow observation tower, “Spectra,” which gives people going through the it a view of the festival in various color hues and a nice air-conditioned break.

The fashion

Coachella: All the colors at the festival aren’t exclusive to the art. Many of the fans at the festival flex bright colors with their make-up, two-piece sets, button-ups and different-length skirts. This year’s festival also featured lots of mesh dresses and shirts, while some fans thrifted or chose more comfortable options .

Stagecoach: If festivalgoers lose a friend, it’s best to avoid trying to locate them by searching for an American Flag, as plenty of clothing items boast the colors. It’s also much more denim-heavy. The festival even planned an activity for Saturday, April 27, where they’ll attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing double denim (tops and bottoms).

While it is more common to see cowboy hats and boots at Stagecoach, this year’s Coachella had a heavy cowboy/cowgirl aesthetic . Another present fashion accessory is the bandanas, which help keep dust out of your face no matter which festival you attend and don’t go out of style.

Coachella: Along with the return of the Heineken House as the festival’s official beer sponsor, the Craft Beer Barn also returned with plenty of local and regional craft beers, including IPAs, Sours, and hard Kombucha.

Stagecoach: The festival is big on its alcohol offerings, hosting big-name brands with pop-ups, including Angry Orchard, Bud Light, Malibu, Golden Road and Twisted Tea. Some niche bars include The Cabin, which serves whiskey by the makeshift fireplace, and Hendrick’s Botanical Garden Bar, which combines cocktails and blooming flowers.

Both festivals also teamed up with the New Bar, which serves mocktails and shares hidden speakeasy bars . As of this year, festivalgoers can walk around with their alcoholic beverages after Coachella quietly relaxed its policy.

Coachella: The menu options here showcase the L.A. food scene and include a variety of Asian and Latin-inspired bites, along with some vegan and vegetarian stands. If guests want to splurge, the event offers dinners that cost about $350 per person for a four-course farm-to-table dinner created by different chefs daily. Some fans need more time and funds for that so that they might opt for the more classic and affordable options.

Stagecoach: Eateries at the country festival are BBQ-focused with some Southern flavors. It also features celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s Stagecoach Smokehouse , a 40,000-square-foot tent of smoked and seasoned meats, where he passes out free BBQ samples to those hanging out by the smokehouse. Although Stagecoach leans heavier on meats, it also offers vegan and vegetarian options, similar to Coachella.

The activations

Coachella: The activities here are more art-focused, with a pop-up tattoo studio, a record store and arts and crafts tents that let fans customize their wardrobe with beads and other jewelry. This year, the festival also had some interactive merch sites, including Tyler, The Creator’s Golf Wang store .

Stagecoach: The country festival’s activities are focused on creating a Western atmosphere. Festivalgoers can shop at the flea market for boots, hats and belt buckles. If fans want to take their fit a step further, they can customize their boots at the Tecovas Boot Bar or pick other custom accessories at the Shein Saloon, which hosts cowboy karaoke and a mirrored bull. The fest also features the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch from the “Yellowstone” T.V. series that offers meet and greets with cast members, and Stagecoach and “Yellowstone” crossover merch.

Both festivals share a Ferris wheel, a recycling station and energy seesaws that give fans a chance to charge their phones.

The camping

Coachella: The festival usually offers tent or car camping and has exclusive on-site activities such as morning yoga sessions, pilates, board games, temporary tattoos and DJ sets.

Stagecoach: Instead of cars and tent camping, there is recreational vehicle camping, which sells out fairly quickly every year. The traffic to get in and check every RV to ensure they’re up to the festival’s code can take hours. By the time campers make it in, they’re ready to partake in the party, often socializing and playing cornhole and other drinking games.
