Lake Ozark Helicopter Tour

This was by far the best spontaneous decision we ever made! We took the trip to see Party Cove, Millionaire Row and Bagnell Dam; it was really awesome to see these things from the air. Our pilot was extremely competent- our first requirement :), knowledgeable and friendly. The entire staff was very friendly. This was our first helicopter ride and it was well worth it. I would go again in a heartbeat!

I've been vacationing at Lake of the Ozarks for over twenty years, and it took going up in one of these helicopters to finally understand the lay of the land and how the Lake snakes through the area. It was fun to see Bagnell Dam and many local landmarks from the air. My 7 year-old daughter really loved sitting in the front seat with the pilot. I'd highly recommend taking one of these tours! A maximum of three people can ride in each helicopter, so larger groups will have to split up.

I loved flying above the lake to see a Birdseye view of everything. I had no dislikes. The flight wasn't very expensive. My wife and I flew together for our 27th wedding anniversary and plan to do it again. Ironically we also flew here on our 22nd wedding anniversary. Are you sensing a theme.

My friend and I took the Bagnell Dam tour. It was amazing. It was like floating on a cloud, very smooth. We were very fortunate to have a crystal clear day. We could see for miles. The pilot was very informative and gave us lots of tidbits of historical information about the Dam and surrounding area. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Everyone should experience this. It's awesome!!!

This was my first time in the air over the Lake of the Ozarks. Lake Ozark Helicopters made it a special ride with incredible views. I know the Lake very well from the ground so the trip was more than just interesting. The pilot was great, informative, and made me feel completely comfortable and safe. We had a little fun in the air on a beautiful August day. The only problem was that the ride was too short. I did not want it to end. The Lake of the Ozarks is the beautiful Midwest Coast so see it from the air. Just remember, the longer the ride the better.

I have always wanted to ride in a helicopter and thought the Ozarks would be a great place to do it. The employees were all friendly including the pilot and offered to take pictures with our cameras of us in front of the helicopter with the pilot after the flight was over. We choose 'the most popular' flight which was $69 per person. The girl at the counter said it would be 12-15 minutes long but it felt more like 8-10 minutes. I wish I had timed it but I know it wasn't as long as she said it would be. The views were amazing and the ride was much smoother than I expected. The pilot was informative. I am glad we did it but my advice is to spend a little more money for a longer ride. We were a little disappointed with how short our tour was.
