Easy to book and without any issues.

Booked 4 cruises from Iglu already including a fly cruise and three UK departures. Recently booked one for May 24 and one is Apr 25. Booking online have already been straight forward and if I do have questions after booking, they responded in good timeframe. Would recommend others.

So easy to book a cruise with Iglu

The call to Iglu was answered within 3 rings and the agent (Adam) was helpful and friendly from the outset. He answered all my queries regarding the cruise and stateroom that were interested in, and ultimately chose. (Yacht Club suite15014) Everything was completed and emailed to me whilst I was on the phone, including the discount we negotiated with him. Overall I couldn't fault the service.

Useless company service …

This company were given simple instructions. They have made a huge mistake in the booking. Two phone calls to the support team, one email and a website query sent. Still no reply from the admin team. I have been told that the admin team do not have a direct number and iglu staff cannot speak to them. I asked to speak to a manager to discuss that their staff need somewhere to go with questions, she refused and put me on continuous hold. Oh the delights of a foreign call centre. The most unhelpful company going.

Frustrated with customer service. We travel in 4 weeks times and we still…

We travel in 4 weeks times and we still don’t know who we are flying with, what time our flight is, which terminal we are flying from at Manchester, so we are unable to book transfers to the airport or car parking. We have contacted iglu through emails and live chat and been given different information each time. This is extremely frustrating as the closer it gets the more difficult and expensive it is to get taxis to the airport.

Cruise booking at its best.

Maddy had great knowledge of the ship which was very useful when deciding the best deck and cabins to suit our family requirements.Maddy also has a great personality which gave confidence in her advice and suggestions and was the difference between booking directly with P&O or Iglu.

Quick easy and helpful

This is our 2nd time booking P&O with Iglu and we have found both experiences to be easy with lots of information in the booking call and follow up emails.

Viney sorted out our cruise booking quickly and efficiently . He managed to book direct flights on request.

Poor organisation and a huge oversight.

Our trip (April 2024: flight to Tokyo, four days in Tokyo, Mt Fuji tour, cruise around Japan, return flight) was marred by poor communication and organisation by Iglu. We had to do a lot of clarification at all stages, starting with flights initially. On the morning of the transfer to the cruise ship from the hotel, we discovered that the transfer had been booked by Iglu for the *following* year. The taxi company confirmed that they had a booking for us for a year later, but had no cars available currently. We had to organise and pay for a private cab to the cruise ship. From then on we didn’t trust any of Iglu’s organisation and double checked everything. Stressful. Regarding the cruise, we had to do a lot of liaison with the cruise company, Princess, ourselves. We feel that Iglu acted less as agents than as bankers. We will look around before using Iglu again.

Great staff contact from booking through to going on holiday. I had an issue at the airport and BA staff were not interested in helping but Carli from iglu spent most of the day resolving it for me. What a star employee.

After waiting anxiously for for iglu to…

After waiting anxiously for for iglu to call me back to change my cruise for several days with credit card in hand nothing. I then resorted to back and forth with emails seems they are more interested in reviews than resolving. I now lose £700 plus £25 per person cancellation. I was more than happy to change my cruise but nothing From Iglu. This has been completely stressful all I want is for them to cancel and move on sadly not with Iglu.

Poor customer care handling operational changes

Cruise line made an operational change to our itinerary removing a port that if not on the original holiday would have meant we would not have booked. We therefore asked for our booking with Iglu to be cancelled. The ‘boiler plate’ response received by the customer service team was that this is classed as a ‘minor change’ not entitling us to any form of refund. Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer care overall.

Iglu enhances booking payment experience with Trust Payments

Iglu was created in September 1998 by Richard Downs from a small office in Baker Street and launched its first website at the Ski Show in London Olympia in October of that year. Until then, ski holidays were marketed and sold via high street shops, Teletext, and classified ads.

In 2023, its 25th year since inception, Iglu joined hands with Trust Payments to invest in technology, grow further as a business, and expand into international markets. 

Under the  partnership , Trust Payments will power booking payments for Iglu Ski, Cruise and Planet Cruise, using its wide range of payment methods, intelligent risk mitigation tools and a platform that streamlines bookings at a transactional level. This includes helping process funds from across the UK, EEA, and the US with support for other currencies and foreign exchange options.

Iglu very competitive

Iglu quoted a great price compared with the cruise line, the booking process was straightforward and everything explained by Dan who was very knowledgeable.

Beware of the low deposit schemes

Tell you they use a low deposit scheme but no where in their paperwork do they outline the payment date for the remainder of the deposit, they just call you and demand the money within 24 hours. Really poor customer service and lack of transparency, not outlined in their T&C's or on your customer account. Also tell you that the operators T&Cs say you need to pay the remainder of the balance 8 weeks after booking but in fact the operators T&Cs say its 12 weeks.

This is extremely frustrating as the closer it gets the more difficult and expensive it is to get taxis to the airport.

Cruise booking at its best.

Maddy had great knowledge of the ship which was very useful when deciding the best deck and cabins to suit our family requirements.Maddy also has a great personality which gave confidence in her advice and suggestions and was the difference between booking directly with P&O or Iglu.
