Vstupenka platí jen pro uvedený den, hodinu, akci, místo konání a sedadlo, je platná pouze s kontrolním ústřižkem a opravňuje k jednomu vstupu. Po opuštění místa konání akce pozbývá platnosti. Dodatečnými úpravami se stává vstupenka neplatnou. V případě uplynutí platnosti vstupenky, jejího poškození, zničení, ztráty nebo krádeže nelze vstupenku vyměnit ani nahradit její hodnotu ani poskytnout jinou kompenzaci. Další převod, prodej nebo zbavení se vstupenky bez písemného souhlasu pořadatele nebo pokus o další prodej za cenu vyšší, než je na vstupence vytištěna, způsobuje její neplatnost. Držiteli takové vstupenky bude odepřen vstup na místo konání akce nebo bude vyveden a zakládá to důvod pro zabavení vstupenky bez náhrady její nominální ceny nebo jiné kompenzace.

Vstupenka je cenina, její padělání a pozměňování je zakázáno. Pořadatel odepře vstup na akci všem držitelům takových vstupenek.

Zaplacené vstupné se nevrací, vstupenka se nevyměňuje. V případě zrušení akce zodpovídá za vrácení vstupného pořadatel. V případě zrušení akce uplatní držitel vstupenky nárok na vrácení vstupného dle pokynů pořadatele. Náhrada zvláštních nákladů (např. hotel, jízdní výlohy) se neposkytuje. Změna programu vyhrazena. Datum a čas akce mohou být změněny bez upozornění.

Je zakázáno fotografování a pořizování obrazových a zvukových záznamů v průběhu akce včetně přestávek, vyjma malých kompaktních fotoaparátů. Dále je zakázáno vnášet do objektu kamery, profesionální fotoaparáty, tablety a zároveň je zakázáno používání laserových ukazovátek.

Pořadatel poskytuje slevy na vstupném vozíčkářům (držitelům průkazu ZTP/P) a jejich průvodcům.

Při plnění povinností vyplývajících z prodeje vstupenek bude IRSnet CZ s.r.o. postupovat ve shodě s platnými obchodními podmínkami pro poskytování služby prodej vstupenek na sportovní a kulturní akce prostřednictvím prodejní sítí Ticketmaster a Ticketportal. Judas Priest se vrací do České republiky se svým „Metal Masters 2024“ tour a potěší tak jejich fanoušky po nedávno zrušeném koncertě Ozzyho Osbourna, na kterém měli vystupovat jako hosté. Na jejich zastávce v pražské O 2 areně 29. března je doplní další skvělé kapely Saxon a Uriah Heep.

V roce 2022 byla tato nejvytíženější kapela uvedena do Rock & Rollové síně slávy – na začátku téhož roku vyrazila na přeložené světové turné na podporu 50. výročí kapely, které zahrnovalo koncerty v USA, Evropě, Mexiku a Jižní Americe.

V roce 2023 kapela pokračuje v práci na novém studiovém albu, které by mělo vyjít začátkem příštího roku. V roce 2024 se ikony vydají na své další světové turné, které začne ve Velké Británii, poté bude pokračovat v Evropě a následně v USA a dalších zemích. Dá se říci, že Judas Priest si i nadále drží pozici jedné z největších a nejlepších britských kapel, které vznikly za posledních více než 50 let.

BIO JUDAS PRIEST Je jen málo heavymetalových kapel, kterým se během své téměř padesátileté kariéry podařilo dosáhnout takových výšin jako Judas Priest. Jejich přítomnost a vliv jsou stále na vrcholu, což dokazuje album „Firepower“ z roku 2018, které se stalo nejlépe prodávaným albem jejich kariéry, vítězství na Grammy 2010 v kategorii „Nejlepší metalový výkon“, ocenění VH1 Rock Honors 2006 a nominace do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2017.

Judas Priest vznikli v roce 1969 v anglickém Birminghamu (v oblasti, kde se podle mnohých zrodil heavy metal). Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, K. K. Downing a Ian Hill tvořili jádro hudebníků (spolu s několika různými bubeníky v průběhu let), kteří změnili tvář heavy metalu. Po několika albech z roku 1974 „Rocka Rolla“ a 1976 „Sad Wings of Destiny“ se tato sestava dostala na vrchol. Výsledkem byla čtveřice alb, která Priest oddělila od zbytku hardrockové smečky – „Sin After Sin“ z roku 1977, „Stained Class“ a „Hell Bent for Leather“ z roku 1978 a „Unleashed in the East“ z roku 1979, na kterém se zrodily takové metalové hymny jako „Sinner“, „Diamonds and Rust“, „Hell Bent for Leather“ a „The Green Manalishi (With the Two-Pronged Crown)“. Priest byli také jednou z prvních metalových kapel, které začaly nosit výhradně kůži a cvočky – tento styl se začal objevovat v této éře a nakonec si ho oblíbili metalisté po celém světě.

Dalo by se říci, že kapele Priest 80. léta prostě patřila, protože co se týče čistého metalu, neměla konkurenci a vydala taková klasická alba jako „British Steel“ z roku 1980, „Point of Entry“ z roku 1981, „Screaming for Vengeance“ z roku 1982 a „Defenders of the Faith“ z roku 1984. Z těchto titulů opět vzešel nespočet nestárnoucích metalových hymen včetně ‚Breaking the Law‘, ‚Living After Midnight‘, ‚Heading Out to the Highway‘ a ‚You’ve Got Another Thing Coming‘. Osmdesátá léta byla také dekádou, kdy se Priest stali headlinerem světových arén a nabídli strhující sety na největších světových festivalech, včetně vůbec prvního festivalu Monsters of Rock v Donington Parku (1980) ve Velké Británii, festivalu US (1983) ve Spojených státech a Live Aid (1985) ve Spojených státech.

Ve zbývající části 80. let se Priest věnovali melodičtějšímu hard rocku na albech „Turbo“ z roku 1986 a „Ram it Down“ z roku 1988 (kromě druhého koncertního setu „Priest…Live!“ z roku 1987) a poté vydali pravděpodobně nejtěžší album celé své kariéry, „Painkiller“ z roku 1990 (na kterém se objevil Scott Travis za bicími). V roce 2004 byli Judas Priest speciálními hosty na Ozzfestu, kde vystoupili po boku Black Sabbath, a o rok později vydali album „Angel of Retribution“.

V roce 2008 vyšlo dvoudiskové koncepční album ‚Nostradamus‘, které se umístilo na 11. místě v žebříčku Billboard 200, a o rok později bylo vydáno album ‚A Touch of Evil: Live‘ (díky němuž skupina získala již zmíněnou cenu Grammy za vražednou interpretaci klasiky ‚Dissident Aggressor‘).

V roce 2011 Downing oznámil, že ze skupiny odchází. Judas Priest se rozhodli pokračovat v práci na kytaře a angažovali nováčka Richieho Faulknera, který stále toužil pokračovat ve vlajce metalu. Zdálo se, že tento krok kapelu oživil, o čemž svědčí show¬stealové vystoupení v televizním pořadu „American Idol“, které zároveň posloužilo jako Faulknerovo debutové vystoupení s kapelou (rovněž v roce 2011, stejně jako vydání nové kompilace „The Chosen Few“, která obsahovala klasiky Priest vybrané těmi největšími metalovými jmény) a koncertní DVD „Epitaph“ v roce 2013. Další studiový počin Priest měl přijít v roce 2014, ‚Redeemer of Souls‘, který se vyšplhal v americké hitparádě na šesté místo a byl podpořen dalším silným turné.

V roce 2017 obdrželi Priest nominaci do „Rock and Roll Hall of Fame“ a následující rok vydali své poslední studiové album ‚Firepower‘. Čtrnáctiskladbové album, které koprodukovali Tom Allom a Andy Sneap, se stalo jedním z nejúspěšnějších v celé kariéře kapely – umístilo se v top 5 v 17 zemích (včetně vůbec nejvyššího umístění v americké hitparádě na 5. místě) a se skladbou „Lightning Strike“ zaznamenalo nejvyšší umístění v komerčních rockových rádiích za poslední desetiletí. Po ukončení velmi úspěšného zimního/jarního turné po Severní Americe v roce 2018 pak Judas Priest pokračovali v létě a na podzim v rockovém turné po Severní Americe s opravdovou heavy metalovou Firepower – na turné s dalšími rockovými legendami Deep Purple.

A Priest pokračovali v cestě od síly k síle, přičemž jejich turné „Firepower“ zahrnovalo koncerty po celém světě po zbytek roku 2018 a dlouho do roku 2019, než si s nástupem Covidu v roce 2020 museli dát od cestování pauzu.

Brno, June 4 (BD) – British heavy metal band Judas Priest will return to the Czech Republic with their “Metal Masters 2024” tour, following the recently cancelled Ozzy Osbourne guest concert. The band will perform in Prague at the O2 Arena on 29 March 2024, with support from Saxon and Uriah Heep.

Judas Priest formed in 1969 in Birmingham, the city where many say that heavy metal was born. Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, KK Downing and Ian Hill formed the core of the band, along with several different drummers over the years. The band has been frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time. Despite an innovative and pioneering body of work in the latter half of the 1970s, the band only received mainstream attention after 1980. Halford’s operatic vocal style and the twin guitar sound of Downing and Tipton have been a major influence on heavy metal bands. Judas Priest’s image of leather, spikes, and other taboo articles of clothing were widely influential during the glam metal era of the 1980s.

During the 1980s, the band released classic albums including “British Steel” (1980), “Point of Entry” (1981), “Screaming for Vengeance” (1982) and “Defenders of the Faith” (1984). These albums included several metal anthems such as ‘Breaking the Law’, ‘Living After Midnight’, ‘Heading Out to the Highway’ and ‘You’ve Got Another Thing Coming’. In 1990, the band released “Painkiller”, probably the heaviest album of their career, which featured Scott Travis on drums. 

In 2011, Downing announced that he was leaving the group. Judas Priest decided to continue and hired guitarist Richie Faulkner, whose debut performance with the band was a show-stealing performance on the television show American Idol.

In 2017, Judas Priest were first nominated to the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”, and the following year they released their most recent studio album “Firepower”. Co-produced by Tom Allom and Andy Sneap, the album became one of their most successful albums.

In 2022, the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. At the beginning of that year, they embarked on a world tour, which included concerts in the USA, Europe, Mexico and South America. In 2023, they continued to work on a new studio album, which should be released at the beginning of 2024. 

The Metal Masters tour 2024 will start in Great Britain, then continue in Europe before moving to the USA and other countries.

Judas Priest Announce 2024 European Tour with Saxon, Uriah Heep

The Metal Masters Tour begins next March

Judas Priest have announced a string of 2024 tour dates across Europe. The Metal Masters Tour kicks off on 24 March, 2024 at Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany and wraps up on 8 April, 2024 at Zenith in Paris, France. Special guests for the trek will be Saxon and Uriah Heep on select dates. Phil Campbell and The Bastard Sons will be performing at the Mediolanum Forum show in Milan, Italy on 6 April.

Judas Priest Announce Lengthy Spring 2024 Tour

Judas Priest is gearing up to release a new studio album, “Invisible Shield,” this spring. Of course, Rob Halford and company are road warriors, so they’re going to be touring hard in support of the release. Would you expect anything less from metal royalty? Now, we have the first tour dates, as Judas Priest have announced a spring 2024 U.S. tour, and they’re bringing fellow metal act Sabaton along for the ride.

The tour in support of “Invisible Shield” begins April 18 in Wallingford, Connecticut, and continues through a May 22 date in Syracuse, New York. Along with the tour dates, Judas Priest will appear at the Welcome to Rockville festival on May 9 in Dayton Beach, Florida.

For those who want to snag tickets early, a Live Nation ticket pre-sale starts Thursday (Nov. 16) at 10 a.m. local time using the code BACKSTAGE. Then, general tickets sales begin Friday (Nov. 17) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

The first tour date comes just days after “Invisible Shield” drops. So, when does Judas Priest’s new album arrive? It’s out on March 8. The band also has a UK and European tour lined up for March and early April. Listen to the lead single from “Invisible Shield,” “Panic Attack.” The album’s second single, “Trial by Fire,” will arrive this Friday (Nov. 17).

During a recent interview with Audio Ink Radio, guitarist Richie Faulkner said this album offers some “twists and turns.” He also said the new music is “a bit more ’70s Priest, which I welcome as a guitar player.” Faulkner, however, also added, ” It’s ’70s Priest, but it’s not a retro album, by any means. It’s the influence of ’70s Priest in the progressive sense, but it sounds like Priest in 2023.” He added that it’s also a bit “progressive” in that it’s “not verse-chorus-verse-chorus-solo-chorus-finish. It’s musical part-verse-musical part.” If you listen to “Panic Attack,” you can hear the classic influence to which Faulkner is referring.

The group has scheduled tour dates so far in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Czechia, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Hungary and Czech Republic.

• Judas Priest Announce Concert Tour Dates for 2024

Six years after the release of their album Firepower, Judas Priest are releasing a brand-new album. After waiting more than half a decade to release new music, the band is more than ready to promote the new album.

The album titled Invincible Shield will drop in March 2024. More specifically, the official drop date is March 8, and a couple days after that, Judas Priest will embark on a concert tour to promote the release of their nineteenth (!) studio album.

About the Concert Tour

The international concert tour will consist of UK and Ireland dates as well as US dates. The opening shows of the tour begin not even three days after the album release, which means Judas Priest aren’t wasting any time here – they are jumping straight into action with this release!

The album introduces 11 new tracks alongside three bonus tracks that will be available via the deluxe version of the Invincible Shield album.

Tickets went on sale Friday November 17 th , and are already available RIGHT HERE .

The tour will start in Ireland and then switch to Great Britain, and ultimately cross over to Germany and other EU states. The first leg of the European part of the tour ends on April 8 th , and 10 days later, the US leg of the tour picks up.

After the US dates, Judas Priest will visit Europe again – starting with Sweden and ending in Germany in July 2024.

The spring and summer of 2024 is already looking quite fun for Judas Priest fans worldwide!

“We’re proud metal fans and this music is like an invincible shield!” Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner explains how their new album helped him recover from heart issue

Faulkner suffered a life-threatening aortic aneurysm while onstage with Judas Priest in 2021

Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner has spoken about how the band’s new album, Invincible Shield , helped his recovery from his aortic aneurysm.

The musician, who replaced Priest co-founder K.K. Downing in 2011, suffered the heart issue onstage at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, in September 2021 and was quickly taken to a local hospital.

The band postponed their live commitments for the remainder of the year to let Faulkner heal.

Now, talking to Total Guitar (as reported by Guitar.com ), Faulkner has explained that the process of creating Priest’s 19th studio album aided his recuperation.

“Part of the healing process was getting back out there and finishing this record. I got back on the horse and rode on,” he said.

“We’re proud metal fans and this music is like an invincible shield. We all go through challenges. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

The guitarist then added, “Glenn [Tipton, co-guitarist]’s had his struggles, I’ve had things, Rob [Halford , vocalist]’s been through it as well, but we live to fight another day!”

Tipton – who joined Priest shortly before the recording of their 1974 debut album, Rocka Rolla – revealed in 2018 that he has been living with Parkinson’s disease since 2008.

Tipton stepped down from the band’s full-time live lineup around the release of 2018 album Firepower as a result, replaced by producer Andy Sneap, but continues to contribute to songwriting, recording and performing songs during the encores of certain concerts.

Halford underwent a prostatectomy in July 2020, following a prostate cancer diagnosis, and began radiation treatment for the disease in early 2021. He has since been given the all clear by doctors.

Judas Priest recently toured Europe to promote Invincible Shield and will play a series of dates across America this spring, starting at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut, on April 18.

The band will then play a host of festivals across the globe from June to October.

Ticket prices for the Judas Priest concert in Reading, Pa., next week have dropped.

The British heavy metal rock band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Santander Arena in Reading. The opening act will be Sabaton.

JUDAS PRIEST was rejoined by guitarist Glenn Tipton on stage during the band's concert Saturday night (April 6) at Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy.

As he has done a number of other times over the course of the last six years, Tipton appeared with PRIEST for the encore, performing "Metal Gods" and "Living After Midnight" .

Tipton was diagnosed with Parkinson's 10 years ago — after being stricken by the condition at least half a decade earlier — but announced in early 2018 he was going to sit out touring activities in support of JUDAS PRIEST 's "Firepower" album. He was replaced by "Firepower" and "Invincible Shield" album producer Andy Sneap , who is also known for his work in NWOBHM revivalists HELL and cult thrash outfit SABBAT .

In a recent interview with Bryan Reesman of The Aquarian , JUDAS PRIEST 's Richie Faulkner spoke about Tipton 's contributions to the band's new album "Invincible Shield" . Asked how many ideas Glenn worked on and how Richie collaborated with him on all the guitar parts, Faulkner said: "We all go away separately after a tour and put down riff ideas and song ideas and melody ideas. He was the same, really, so when we get in a room together — me, Glenn and Rob [ Halford , vocals] — we get those ideas out. We put those ideas on the table, we play them back for each other. Glenn did the same. He had a few more ideas that were more developed — 'Sons Of Thunder' , 'Escape From Reality' , 'Vicious Circle' , stuff like that — so we worked on those. It was no different in that regard. He was able to sit in a studio [to] take time and play the ideas that he was putting forward. And when he had an idea and we were together, if he couldn't play it that day, then he would translate it through me and we'd hash it out.

"If Glenn can play it, then he'll play it, and if he can't play it, then I'll take on the workload," Richie explained. "I mean, what's wrong with that? I'm a guitar player and I'm a fan. I love the guys. That's your duty — if something needs to be done, guitar or otherwise, you do it. You step up, you know? That applied to the recording, as well. There are some things on there that he played, and he could write. It was important to us to involve him, and it probably was just as important for him to be involved as much as he could after doing it and being a genre-defining guitar player for the last 50 years."

Asked where Glenn 's soloing pops up on "Invincible Shield" , Richie said: " Glenn 's influence is more than just the solos. There are solos on 'Sons Of Thunder' and 'Vicious Circle' , and it goes beyond that. As we said before, the little twists and turns musically… and the vibe. When you play songs and solos by both K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton on an intimate level for 13 years, I don't think you can help but have that become part of your DNA, as well, so I think you can hear stuff from Glenn in my playing as well as what I've learned from him in the last 13 years. On something like 'Panic Attack' , there are some sweep picking stuff that was never part of my repertoire. Playing songs like 'Painkiller' on an intimate level becomes part of your repertoire, so it shows up on the record. So apart from the songwriting ideas he had, the songs he had, some of the solos he had, it's in my playing as well. He's infiltrated my DNA in that sense — along with Ken [ K.K. ], of course, and along with Zakk [ Wylde ] and Michael Schenker and people like that. I think [ Glenn 's] influence can't be overstated either."

In his first interview since revealing his condition in early 2018, Glenn , who turned 76 last October, told Guitar World magazine about his diagnosis: "It was upsetting, but I wasn't really shocked because I sort of thought it was Parkinson's. I probably hoped it wasn't but the doctor said it was."

Regarding being told by the doctor that he had likely already had the disease for between 10 and 15 years, Glenn said: "Hearing that I already had Parkinson's for a long time made me even more determined to fight. I could still play, so I just continued recording and touring."

About a month before the opening date of PRIEST 's "Firepower" tour, Tipton realized he could not guarantee that he would be able to execute an energetic, precision performance with the band night after night and "decided that it was really going to be too much for me," he told Guitar World . "With the medication and the time zone changes and everything else, I realized it was time to retire — from touring at least. I don't ever want to compromise JUDAS PRIEST . It's too big a part of my life.”
