Country fans are going to need to start planning for 2024.

Luke Combs announced his plans on Tuesday for the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour. The string of North American tour dates includes 25 shows across 13 U.S. cities, as well as one date in Canada.

The country music star, 33, will kick off the upcoming live dates in April 2024 in Milwaukee and eventually wrap up the shows in Houston in mid-August 2024.

All but one U.S. city tour stop will include two shows — one on Friday night and one on Saturday — and the set list is scheduled to change depending on the date. (There will only be one concert in his tour stops in University Park, Pennsylvania and Craven, Canada.)

The “Fast Car" cover singer will also be joined by a handful of special guests each night. On Fridays, Cody Jinks, The Avett Brothers, Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters and The Wilder Blue will play, and on Saturday he will be joined by Jordan Davis , Mitchell Tenpenny , Drew Parker and Colby Acuff.

In a press release, the "Hurricane" artist shared his excitement about hitting the road. “We got an opportunity to do two shows in some U.S. markets on the World Tour, but when I found out we were going to be able to do two shows for most all of the cities on the 2024 tour, I decided I wanted each show to have their own unique set up of openers, as well as my own unique setlist. I thought this would give people an opportunity to come to both nights if they want, but see two completely different shows,” he said.

The CMA Award winner continued, “With Country music being such a wide genre and being a huge fan of it all myself, I wanted to open up my stage to acts that lean into Outlaw, Americana and Red Dirt on Friday nights, as well as having a night with people I have toured with in the past, who are more contemporary country. I’m super excited to have both groups be out on the road with me for the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour!”

"A supernatural song writer": Luke Combs praises Tracy Chapman as 'Fast Car' tops charts

Luke Combs is burning up the charts with Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car'

The performances add to yet another triumphant year for Combs, whose new version of Tracy Chapman’s Grammy-winning "Fast Car" has spent five consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. This is Combs’ 16th consecutive No. 1 single on country radio.

The song was recently certified double-platinum, has garnered over 435 million global streams and is No. 2 this week on Billboard’s Hot 100. "Fast Car" is the first song by a male solo artist to ever top both the Hot AC and Country Airplay charts.

Combs’ latest album, "Gettin' Old," is a companion to his acclaimed 2022 record, "Growin' Up." The New York Times praised the album as "grounded in country, complete with fiddle fills, but it’s also pointed toward a wide pop audience" while Billboard proclaimed, "His electrifying-yet-earthy voice soundtracking this time in his life as a husband, father and entertainer at the top of his game."

American Songwriter summed it up with, "He’s a rock star at this point."

He was amazing as always. First time seeing Ashley, only knew a few songs. I left the concert a bigger fan for her. Did not get to see Drew perform due to the traffic. To & from the arena it was crazy insane..

This gig was simply OUTSTANDING.

Ashley McBryde and Luke Combs might just be the best show combo I've ever seen.

Luke Combs Announces 2024 “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” Tour

Luke Combs is already making plans for 2024, dropping news of the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old tour early Tuesday. The tour will bring the country star to 13 cities with 25 shows planned and tickets on sale to the general public at the end of next week.

Tickets will go on sale to the public next Friday, August 25 at 10 AM local venue time. pic.twitter.com/GEXiuJ2A2b — Luke Combs 🎤 (@lukecombs) August 15, 2023

Combs is currently touring Australia and has dates in Europe and the UK in September and October before closing out the current year, but will be back on his home continent for this new tour, which kicks off in April with two shows at American Family Field in Milwaukee. It winds through the U.S. with stops including San Antonio (Alamodome), Phoenix (State Farm Stadium), Los Angeles (SoFi Stadium), and Washington (FedEx Field) before wrapping up at NRG Stadium in Houston Texas on August 9 and 10. The lone stop planned for north of the border (at least for now) is at Country Thunder in Saskatchewan on July 14.

Most cities on the tour have two stops planned, with shows on Friday and Saturday. For markets with two shows, there are separate setlists and openers planned, opening up the potential for two-night tickets being an attractive option, which will be on offer for interested fans. According to the tour poster, Friday shows will feature either Cody Jinks or The Avett Brothers, as well as Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters, and The Wilder Blue. Saturday shows will feature Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker, and Colby Acuff.

“When I found out we were going to be able to do two shows for most all of the cities on the 2024 tour, I decided I wanted each show to have their own unique set up of openers, as well as my own setlist,” reads an email sent to people on Combs’ email list announcing the tour. “I thought this would give people an opportunity to come to both nights if they want, but see two completely different shows. I can’t wait to see y’all on the road next year!”

Tickets to see Luke Combs on the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old tour are on sale beginning on Wednesday, August 23 for members of the singer’s Bootleggers fan club, with presale registration open through Saturday, August 19. Those selected for that presale will also have the opportunity to purchase 2-day passes. Tickets will be on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, August 25.

Luke Combs Unveils Double Stadium Shows on 2024 Tour

by Cillea Houghton August 15, 2023, 10:44 am

Luke Combs is continuing to expand his touring schedule. On Tuesday (August 15), Combs unveiled dates for his 2024 Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour which consists of 25 dates in 13 cities . From April through August, Combs will host two-night stays at stadiums in nearly all the cities where he’ll perform shows on Friday and Saturday nights.

Videos by American Songwriter

The shows will almost act as mini-festivals, as Combs is bringing several artists to perform with him each night. Hailey Whitters, Cody Jinks, The Avett Brothers, Charles Wesley Godwin and The Wilder Blue will open on Friday night, while Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker and Colby Acuff will perform on Saturday night.

The tour kicks off on April 12 and 13 at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and concludes on August 9 and 10 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Along the way, they’ll make stops at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California; Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas; FedExField near Washington, D.C., and more.

Combs explains that while he originally planned to just extend the U.S. market on the 2023 World Tour into next year, he decided to revamp and do a new tour when he find out they could book double shows in several cities.

“I decided I wanted each show to have their own unique set up of openers, as well as my own unique setlist. I thought this would give people an opportunity to come to both nights if they want, but see two completely different shows,” he explains in a press release. “With country music being such a wide genre and being a huge fan of it all myself, I wanted to open up my stage to acts that lean into Outlaw, Americana and Red Dirt on Friday nights, as well as having a night with people I have toured with in the past, who are more contemporary country. I’m super excited to have both groups be out on the road with me for the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour!” Tickets go on sale on August 25 at 10 a.m. local time.

Combs is finding new fans this summer after releasing his cross-generational version of “Fast Car,” the Grammy-winning song first released in 1988 by Tracy Chapman. Combs’ release has spent five consecutive weeks in the top spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

In the middle of his current “World Tour,” Combs this week begins a stretch of 20 sold-out shows from Syndey, Australia, to London.

The “Growin’ up and Getting' Old Tour” is scheduled to kick off at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisc., on April 12, 2024. Luke Combs to host ‘Bootleggers Tailgate Party’ for ‘Grownin’ Up and Getting Old’ stadium tour

C ountry superstar Luke Combs will once again hold the “Bootleggers Tailgate Party” as part of his massive “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” stadium tour this year.

>>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<<

Presented by Jack Daniel’s and Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails and powered by Whiskey Jam, the parties will take place ahead of each of Combs’ Saturday night shows throughout the tour, starting at 3:00 pm local time each weekend.

Each event will have food and drink options, pre-show merch stands, and live performances, with the first three weekends featuring Ryan Larkins and Graham Barham (April 13 in Milwaukee, WI), Shaylen and Greylan James (April 20 in Orchard Park, NY), and Redferrin and Alex Lambert (April 27 in University Park, PA). Remaining lineups are to be announced soon.

Additional dates on Combs’ extensive 2024 run include sold-out, back-to-back nights at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium, Santa Clara’s Levi’s® Stadium, Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium, Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium, and Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium among others.

Combs continues to break records with the tour, becoming the highest-selling country artist and the first ever to play back-to-back shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, the highest-selling male country artist at Santa Clara’s Levi’s® Stadium and Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium, and the fastest-selling two-day run in the region of Cincinnati’s Paycor Stadium. See below for the complete tour itinerary and details.

The upcoming shows add to yet another triumphant year for Combs, who recently performed an unforgettable duet of “Fast Car” with Tracy Chapman during the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which Rolling Stone called “one of the all-time best collaborative performances in Grammy history.”

The performance was the culmination of a massive year for “Fast Car,” as Combs’ version of the song won Single of the Year at the 2023 CMA Awards (with Chapman winning Song of the Year). It also spent five consecutive weeks atop Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and reached #1 on the Hot AC chart, the first song by a male solo artist to ever top both. The 2x Platinum single, which has garnered over 700 million global streams to date, also spent eighteen weeks in the top 5 of Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 chart, eight of which were spent at #2.

“Fast Car” is featured on Combs’ most recent album, Gettin’ Old—a companion to his acclaimed 2022 record, Growin’ Up. Produced by Combs, Chip Matthews, and Jonathan Singleton, Gettin’ Old further establishes Combs as one of music’s most authentic and powerful voices. Receiving widespread critical attention, Combs spoke with Esquire, who calls him, “the best country singer of his generation,” while Billboard declares, “his electrifying-yet-earthy voice soundtracking this time in his life as a husband, father, and entertainer at the top of his game.”

A Grand Ole Opry member and 9x CMA, 3x ACM, and 3x Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs has also partnered with Opry Entertainment Group to open a massive multi-level entertainment complex in downtown Nashville, expected to open this summer.

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

Luke Combs Announces 2024 Stadium Tour

Luke Combs has added a run of 2024 US stadium shows to his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour.”

The upcoming tour includes two-night stands in multiple cities, including shows at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, Jacksonville’s EverBank Stadium, Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium, Houston’s NRG Stadium, and Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium. For these shows in particular, Combs is promising a unique setlists and opening acts.

Tickets are available via StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

“When I found out we were going to be able to do two shows for most all of the cities on the 2024 tour, I decided I wanted each show to have their own unique set up of openers, as well as my own unique setlist. I thought this would give people an opportunity to come to both nights if they want, but see two completely different shows,” Combs said in a statement.

“With Country music being such a wide genre and being a huge fan of it all myself, I wanted to open up my stage to acts that lean into Outlaw, Americana and Red Dirt on Friday nights, as well as having a night with people I have toured with in the past, who are more contemporary country. I’m super excited to have both groups be out on the road with me for the ‘Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour!'”

Joining Combs will be opening acts including Cody Jinks, The Avett Brothers, Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters and The Wilder Blue, Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker and Colby Acuff. You can find his complete tour schedule and see who is playing when below.

The “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour” comes in support of Combs’ recent albums Grown’ Up and Gettin’ Old . The latter LP includes a cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and led Chapman to become the first Black woman to be the sole writer on a No. 1 country song .
