You Me At Six Tour Announced With Mothica And Wolf & Bear

British rockers You Me At Six are set to make a triumphant return to the US this fall for their first headline tour since 2019. The tour is in support of their critically acclaimed eighth studio album, Truth Decay .

The Rise Records Presents: Truth Decay Tour will kick off in New York on September 22nd and will feature a lineup that includes alt-pop multimedia artist Mothica and post-hardcore band Wolf & Bear. The tour will also include appearances at two major US festivals, Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY, and Aftershock in Sacramento, CA.

“We’re really looking forward to coming back to the US, especially as we’re bringing along Mothica and Wolf & Bear. It has always been a favorite place of ours to tour,” shares frontman Josh Franceschi. “Truth Decay is coming!”

You Me At Six On Tour

With over half a billion streams across various platforms, multiple chart-topping singles, and sold-out headlining tours around the globe, You Me At Six have cemented themselves as true masters of their genre.

Their latest release Truth Decay is a retrospective album that celebrates the scene they helped build while also exploring new directions. The album is a raw and honest depiction of trying to find the good moments within the bad, exploring themes of growing up, relationships, overcoming insecurities, and realizing self-worth.

You Me At Six comprises Josh Franceschi on vocals, Max Helyer and Chris Miller on guitars, Matt Barnes on bass, and Dan Flint on drums. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 5th, at 10 am local time. For more information on tour dates and tickets, visit the band’s official website.

You Me At Six announce their final mainland Europe tour

Get ready, Europe: You Me At Six will be saying goodbye to you in November and December.

You Me At Six have just announced their final-ever European tour.

With dates still to be announced in Australia, North America and the UK/Ireland, mainland Europe is up first, with YMAS beginning their big farewell headliner at the end of this year. The band’s last Euro run will kick off in Paris on November 15, and wrap up in Brussels on December 5 – see the full dates below.

Recently speaking to Kerrang! , frontman Josh Franceschi promised of these final shows: “We’ve got a plan to play songs from every single album, and make it a real victory lap. And everyone feels like that. We’ve looked at the setlists and gone, ‘Cool – those five can stay, the rest is gonna be stuff we haven’t done for years. We want to have 40, 50 songs ready to go so that each night we can constantly mix it up and make it special.” Pick up the new issue here for the full interview with Josh.

It's official: You Me At Six are parting ways and undertaking a final, farewell tour in 2024-2025. In cinematic, dramatic fashion perfectly fitting for a group splitting after 20 years, last night (31 January) You Me At Six broke hearts the world over with this emotionally-charged announcement on social media:

"2005-2025. This is the end. Thank you for being the heartbeat of this band. Final live shows taking place 2024/2025."

In other words, (to paraphrase Josh Franceschi in Fireworks) they had a good run, now they're setting themselves free </3

With nearly 20 years of success under their belt, YMAS are one of the most reliable bands in pop-rock; their stadium-sized choruses and relatable lyrics have earned the Surrey band a global fanbase.

The five-piece have never really been a singles act, with just five Top 40 hits, but their run of form on the Official Albums Chart speaks for itself: seven consecutive Top 10s, including two Number 1s with 2014's Cavalier Youth and 2021's Suckapunch . (Justice for Number 25-peaking debut Take Off Your Colours )

To celebrate their incredible career, and for those of us who aren't quite ready to say goodbye, we reveal the band's Official Top 40 biggest songs for the first time. But first, a closer look at the Top 5.

5. Lived A Lie  

Released: 2013 official singles chart peak: number 11.

The trailer for the band's chart-topping Cavalier Youth album, Lived A Lie is YMAS at their boldest and most commercial, with a towering chorus that proved they were more than capable of stadium-filling rock.

4. Bite My Tongue 

Released: 2011 official singles chart peak: n/a.

Featuring guest vocals from Bring Me The Horizon's Oli Sykes, Bite My Tongue - taken from their third album Sinners Never Sleep - is YMAS at their darkest, with Franceschi once admitting the song is the band at their heaviest and angriest. The track is their fourth biggest, with its total count including 16.2 million streams.

3. Stay With Me  

Released: 2010 official singles chart peak: number 52.

A highlight from their second album Hold Me Down, Stay With Me - which has 14.9 million streams in the UK - is a slice of blistering emo-pop-rock that has comes from the same stable as Kings of Leon's Use Somebody.

2. Take On The World  

Released: 2017 official singles chart peak: n/a.

The band's final single from their Night People album, Take On The World is the record's big ballad moment and is a rare co-write for YMAS, penned with James Bay, Jake Bugg and songwriter Iain Archer (Snow Patrol). The band's second most-streamed song (just!) with 26.4m listens, Josh Franceschi said of the track: " It's kinda like a declaration saying, 'Life isn't easy but whatever happens, I hope I can make it easier for you and take away some of the sting.'"

1. Underdog  

Released: 2010 official singles chart peak: number 49.

The song that sent the band stratospheric, Underdog's humungous chorus was a noticeable step up from their 2008 debut Take Off Your Colours - and helped the band score their first Top 10 on the Official Albums Chart with Hold Me Down.

Despite not being one of their five UK Top 40 singles (peaking at 49) and pre-dating the streaming era by four years, it's their most-played song in the UK, with 27.7 million streams, and their biggest track overall.

Maggie Rogers Announces Arena Tour, Sequel to In-Person Ticketing Program to Skirt Scalpers

Following the success of Maggie Rogers ’ in-person ticketing program for her tour last year, she’s going even bigger in 2024. Ahead of her new album Don’t Forget Me dropping on Friday, the singer announced her first arena run in the United States, kicking off in October after ‘ The Don’t Forget Me Tour, Part I ’ in early summer.

Friday kicks off a week-long celebration that Rogers is dubbing ‘Box Office Week’ that will include pop-up events, special shows at intimate venues in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, and Chicago, and chances to snag tickets to the arena tour at box offices across America.

Rogers’ arena run this fall includes a date at Madison Square Garden on October 19, a little over five years after the singer sold out two nights at Radio City Music Hall. Having gone to New York University and lived in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Rogers is no stranger to venues across the city, from popping out at Barclays Center with Zach Bryan and Bruce Springsteen to her affinity for some of the city’s cozier settings.

Coachella Live Stream Schedule: Times, Lineup, Where To Watch Coachella 2024 Online

N ot willing to drop hundreds, even thousands on Coachella tickets to see Lana Del Rey and Tyler, The Creator? Lucky for you, you don’t have to! Save some money and energy but still enjoy the music in the comfort of your home thanks to YouTube’s live stream of the event. Couchella fans, unite!

Last year’s YouTube livestream provided six streams, allowing fans to follow each of the stages. The 2024 stream will do the same. This year, YouTube will also offer a multi-view feature that’ll allow fans to watch up to four live performances at the same time. Additionally, each stage will have its own live feed stream, so you can be in on the action and show your love for Lana Del Rey and Doja Cat from your couch.

So, how exactly can you stream the festival and join in on the fun? From start time to lineup info, here’s how to watch Coachella 2024 live on YouTube.

The  Coachella YouTube live stream  (more on that below) begins at 4:00 p.m. PT (7:00 p.m. ET) on Friday, April 12 and Friday, April 19. The opening weekend stream runs through Sunday night (April 14).

Six people are dead  and several others injured after a man went on a stabbing rampage in a shopping mall in Sydney, Australia, on Saturday afternoon local time, one of the country’s worst mass killings in recent years. The suspect was  shot dead .

Eyewitnesses described  “pandemonium”  as they fled from the attack, with many  forced to hide in shops . Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the attack was “beyond words and understanding,” but amid the “shocking violence,” there were glimmers of heroism.

Here’s the latest if you are just joining us:

Six dead: New South Wales police commissioner Karen Webb said  four women and a man died  at the shopping mall, while a fifth woman later died at the hospital. Webb added that  eight additional people  are being treated for injuries at hospitals in Sydney.

Baby among those injured: A  nine-month-old baby is confirmed  to be among the injured and has been in surgery, Webb said. Australian media outlets have reported that the baby’s mother had died, but Webb could not confirm the reports.

Suspect shot: A police inspector shot the attacker dead on the scene. Police believe the suspect was a 40-year-old man who acted alone, but could not provide further identification details. Early indications suggest the attack was  not terror-related .

"Hero" police officer: The police officer who shot the suspect is being hailed as a “hero,” with  Albanese saying , “There is no doubt that she saved lives through her action.” The officer was nearby when the violence unfolded and shot the attacker when he raised his knife at her, police said.

Witnesses describe scene: Eyewitnesses described panic and “pandemonium” as fleeing shoppers fell over each other and hid in shops. One woman, Crystal Wang,  told CNN  she hid in a clothing store for over an hour with other shoppers. Another man told Australia’s state broadcaster ABC that the attacker was stabbing people “indiscriminately.”

Rare attack: The attack has shocked Australia, a country where  mass casualty events are rare . The deadliest in its history was an April 1996 mass shooting in the town of Port Arthur, Tasmania, that killed 35 people and became known as the Port Arthur massacre. More recently, at least four people were killed and one injured in a mass shooting in the northern city of Darwin in 2019.

Pope Francis offer prayers for Sydney mall attack victims and first responders

Pope Francis is "deeply saddened" by the mass stabbing that occurred at a busy shopping center in Sydney, Australia, according to a statement from the Vatican.

"He sends the assurance of his spiritual closeness to all affected by this senseless tragedy, especially those who are now mourning the loss of a loved one," the statement read. "He likewise offers his prayers for the dead, injured, as well as the first responders, and invokes upon the nation the divine blessings of consolation and strength."

King Charles III "shocked and horrified" by the Sydney stabbing

Britain's King Charles III, who is head of state in Australia, said he and his wife Queen Camilla are "utterly shocked and horrified" by the shopping mall stabbing in Sydney that left six dead.

"Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of those who have been so brutally killed during such a senseless attack," a statement from Buckingham Palace said.

"While details of these shocking circumstances are still emerging, our thoughts are also with those who were involved in the response, and we give thanks for the bravery of the first responders and emergency services."

9-month-old baby among victims receiving treatment in hospital

A nine-month-old baby is confirmed to be among eight victims who have been admitted to hospital following the mass stabbing attack at Sydney's Westfield Bondi Junction shopping mall.

New South Wales police commissioner Karen Webb on Saturday confirmed that eight people are currently being treated for different injuries in hospitals around Sydney, including the infant, who has been in surgery.

Webb said "the last update I had was that it (the baby) had been in surgery and it's too early to say really. But it's awful."

She could not confirm Australian media reports that the baby's mother had died.

"I've heard that same rumour but I can't confirm that," she said.

Early indications say attack was not terror related, police say

New South Wales police commissioner Karen Webb said on Saturday that early indications suggest the Sydney mall stabbing attack is not terror related but cautioned that the investigation remains ongoing.

Webb told reporters that current elements do not point to a terror motive, adding however that the investigation will be ongoing "for many many days" and that it is "too early to say" what was behind the attack.

According to Webb, police believe that the suspect is a 40-year-old man but as background checks remain ongoing, she could not provide further identification details.

Webb said she was "confident" that there is no ongoing risk and that "we are dealing with one person who is now deceased."

The suspect was shot dead at the scene by a lone officer, police earlier said.

Witnesses inside the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping mall when the attack took place have described scenes of chaos.

CNN’s Australian affiliate, 9 News Sydney, spoke to an eyewitness who said people were running through the shopping center and falling over each other, describing the situation as “pandemonium.”

Two brothers who were there told 9 News they saw a baby and mother stabbed and tried to help.

“The baby got stabbed and the mum got stabbed," one of the brothers said. “We were holding the baby and trying to compress the baby. Same with the mother, trying to compress the blood from stopping.”

One man described seeing a man in a green shirt stabbing others "indiscriminately."

"[We just heard] screaming, screaming and it didn't seem that long before we heard 'boom boom boom' of the gunshot and we thought, 'We hope it's the police,'" the witness told Australia's state broadcaster ABC. "[A person] is dying 10 metres away … I grabbed towels and there were three people dying around me. "It was just carnage."

Another man who did not give his name told ABC that the attacker would have continued his deadly rampage if the police officer had not intervened.

"If she did not shoot him, he would have kept going, he was on the rampage," he said.

Woman hid at back of clothes shop for over an hour during attack

One eyewitness who was inside Westfield Bondi Junction shopping mall when the attack unfolded described hiding in the back of a shop.

Crystal Wang explained how, after arriving at Westfield at around 3.20pm – just as the attack began – she walked into a clothes store where "the girls at the shop shut the door behind me and turned off lights."

She continued: "I was really confused, and they told me someone is stabbing people with a knife in the mall. I was hiding at the back of the shop, saw some people fleeing, and then heard [a] few gun shots.”

At first, Crystal thought there had been a power cut, before she realized the severity of the situation she had found herself in.

"A siren went on and not long after, I heard gun shots and started to panic, I was worried the attacker also had a gun," she said. "That's when the shop assistants asked everyone to hide in their storage room."

She added that management announcements probably made the situation worse.

“They were saying 'all the customers please evacuate immediately.' "We were obviously locked inside, just really confused if we should get out of the shop or stay in. "The lady who's making the announcement is obviously panicking as well, which just made us more anxious. She was even swearing at the end of her announcements."

Crystal and other shoppers stayed in hiding for an hour and half, until they were able to leave.
