During the first two weeks of April, this spring, my wife and I went to Morocco on a GVG tour. Morocco is a very diverse country both in its people and its land. Gene is a very knowledgeable leader and was very helpful to me as an older senior. We have been with Gene on several tours, and this one may have been the best.

We joined Gene on the Baltic Sea cruise tour August 22-Sept. 4th. This was our first trip out of the country, other than Mexico, and I was very impressed with the amount of time and effort both Gene and Christina put into making sure all of us had a wonderful trip. We had a few hiccups along the way, but that is what makes travel exciting right! The ports were wonderful and we got to see places I have only dreamed of seeing. We just returned from our 2019 Tanzania vacation with Gene. This was really a wonderful vacation. We saw so many animals in their natural environment every day. It seems every day was better than the previous day. Our favorite: elephants playing in a pond, splashing each other and two playful youngsters not wanting to leave when the matriarch said it was time to go. We checked off almost every animal from our map of 50 animals to see in Africa. All up close and personal. Fantastic! You need to do it!

We had a wonderful trip to Italy in October!! The weather was fabulous (except for the last night in Rome). So glad we made the trip!! I enjoyed learning about the horse races in Sienna, and actually seeing Pompeii - it was a large city!! I was impressed with the Florence American Cemetery and Memorial. I did not realize that there were American soldiers buried over there. It was very inspiring. All the local guides were very knowledgeable and it was good to have Sabina with us for the whole trip.

My brother, three friends and myself enjoyed immensely a recent Canadian Rockies / Glacial National Park tour. Our Canadian bus driver even secured beer for a pizza party. An extra touch appreciated by all. Gene is a great tour guide. Our only disappointment was the final score of the Bear Packer football game.

Van Galder bus company which is also known as Sam Van Galder incorporation legally, is a regional bus service having a headquarters in Janesville, Wisconsin. This company was a family-owned business company. It remained a family-owned business company for more than half a century. In 1999, it was sold to the Stagecoach Group. Stagecoach group maintained Stephen Van Galder as president under the Coach USA banners.

The operations of the Van Galder company include providing school buses for the district of Janesville, coach and school bus charts, organisations travel and tour excursions, and providing airport shuttles on a daily basis. The Van Galder incorporation also provides Amtrak Thruway service to downtown Chicago and the only intercity bus service on the 1-39/90 corridors.
