ACCESSIBILITY

At Voyager Estate, we are committed to ensuring that our grounds are safe, welcoming, and readily accessible for all our visitors.

There is a dedicated ACROD parking bay situated 100 metres from the entrance to our cellar door, as well as a dedicated drop off and pick up bay, located 50 metres from the entrance.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

There are two access ramps to the cellar door, located on the west side and north side of the main building, to ensure ease of entry.

TOILET FACILITIES

There is a dedicated wheelchair accessible toilet facility located within the main cellar door building.

ACCESSIBLE EXPERIENCES

We are delighted to offer seated wine tastings and experiences in our wine room, including our signature Origins Tasting experience.

We are also able to offer tailored versions of our Estate Tour and Voyager Unearthed experiences, when arranged with prior notice. 

Our celebrated restaurant is also fully accessible, with our award-winning degustation menus served in a seated setting in the dining room.

Our team are always happy to discuss additional accessibility requirements and assist with planning your visit to Voyager Estate.

Meet The Team

Alexandra Burt

Alexandra Burt represents the second generation of the Wright family who have owned and operated Voyager Estate since 1991. Alex took over the management of the Estate in 2005 and became the sole proprietor of Voyager in 2018. Her vision is to guide the wine growing and making process in a sustainable way from start to finish with minimal intervention, to craft wines that are the purest expression of our place. Alex is Co-Founder and Proprietor of The Landsmith Collection including storied NT cattle station Bullo River Station, and other projects in development. All are guided by Alex’s philosophy of finding places she loves, then sustaining and nurturing them for generations to come.

Tim Shand Chief Winemaker, originally from Perth, joined the Voyager family in 2022 and believes winemaking is closer to a craft than an art. Respect for the raw materials is everything, finding the beauty and deliciousness in the fruit that is grown and expressing them to drinkers with the lightest possible touch.

Glen’s days are spent amongst the vines. Since joining Voyager Estate twenty years ago, his dedication to healthy leaf function produces fruit with the best ripeness and flavour intensity that translate effortlessly into our wines.

Featured wines.

Our fresh take on a contemporary Cabernet. The Modern celebrates what our organically farmed soils produce best. This medium-bodied, red-and-dark-fruited style is what we like to call a ‘serious drink now wine,’ whilst we predict it will age just as well.

Crafted from a combination of Tempranillo, Merlot and Shiraz fruit, with some skin contact Viognier adding textural complexity. An excellent food wine, but equally delicious as a crisp sundowner.

Cabernet but not as you know it, early-drinking, juicy and elegant, a nod to the strong coastal influence that defines our distinct style.

The warm dry weather experienced during the 2018 vintage provided the perfect conditions for crafting a Cane Cut Semillon, a vibrant and concentrated dessert wine with a lovely balance of sweetness and acidity.

With fantastic ripening towards the end of the growing season, the 2012 vintage produced a cabernet that is looking incredibly bright and youthful. A wine of great structure, complexity and depth, that still has many years of cellaring ahead.

An elegant Shiraz with that classic Margaret River energy and drive. Bursting with red berries and rhubarb, with hints of earth and spice. A soft, juicy style that is delicious all year round.
