Taylor Swift on stage

How to get tickets for Taylor Swift’s 2024 UK Eras Tour, including price and extra London dates

It’s been five years since Tay last set foot on our shores

Chiara Wilkinson

Hot Swiftie summer is well and truly on the way. While Taylor Swift might currently be taking her Eras tour around Australia , it won’t be long before she hits UK  shores. Only a few more months to spend waiting around, pouring over set lists and constantly refreshing our feeds to hear news about the star.

On her US leg, we saw the mega star perform through a torrential storm, dive head first into the stage, partake in a short-lived (and bizarre) relationship with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, and bring her ex Taylor Lautner out to do a few backflips. We can only hope that the UK leg will be just as exciting and spectacular.

And as any hardcore fan knows, Tay Tay truly is the gift that keeps on giving. After the chaotic scramble for UK tickets left thousands disappointed, she announced extra dates and is set to play 15 shows in the UK – including eight in London. Here's everything we know about Taylor’s Eras tour in the UK.

When is Taylor Swift coming to the UK as part of her 2024 Eras tour?

We now know for sure that Taylor is going on tour in the UK and dates have finally been announced. She’ll be over in two rounds throughout June and August – you can find out more about specific dates and locations below.

Two new London shows announced for the UK Eras tour

Additional shows were announced for London’s Wembley Stadium on August 19 and August 20, with tickets available to a limited number of fans who registered for London shows earlier this year.

When do Taylor Swift Eras tickets go on sale in the UK?

Tickets for the new London shows went on sale on November 14 and November 15, while tickets for the other shows went live last July.

How do the Ticketmaster on-sale codes work?

On July 5 2023, fans were contacted by Ticketmaster to let them know if they’ve received an ‘on-sale code’ or have been placed on a waiting list.

The ticketing platform stressed that tickets would be provided on a first come, first serve basis, meaning that not everyone who registered in advance will receive an on-sale code. If you were lucky enough to get one, it included timing details and a link to where the on-sale would occur, as well as a unique, non-transferable access code. However, the code did not guarantee that you would secure a ticket.

Fans who did not receive an email were placed on a waiting list until a later date when further tickets become available. Fingers crossed for you.

How can I register for tickets?

To help tickets reach the hands of fans who want to attend the shows, there was the opportunity to register for tickets. Registration closed on Thursday, June 22 at 11.59pm (local time) in the UK, and on Friday, June 23 at 11.59pm (local time) in Ireland and Europe.

Registered fans who received a unique code were able to use them to buy tickets in each city at specified dates and times. Fans who wanted an opportunity to access ticket sales in multiple cities needed to register once for each city they wanted to attend.

Was there any presale?

Fans who participated in the Taylor Swift UK store ‘Midnights’ album pre-order offer qualified for special pre-sale access to all UK and Ireland shows.

The first of those presales was on July 10 at 10am, which was for the London dates and some of the Edinburgh ones. More than 40,000 Swifties joined an online queue in an attempt to snap up tickets before the general sale. Other presales took place on July 11 (for Edinburgh and Dublin) and July 12 (Cardiff and Liverpool).

Unfortunately, if you missed out on pre-ordering the album, you had to wait for general sale to be in with a chance of grabbing tickets.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets in the UK?

For the London and Edinburgh date presales, tickets ranged in price from around £59 (for partial or obstructed view tickets) to £110 for general admission standing. Front standing was priced at about £172, while seated tickets went up to  £194.

Want to go VIP?

And if you’re absolutely swimming in wonga and have acute Swift-itis you can spend from £799 on hospitality packages that get you things like premium seats, arrival via the hospitality entrance, premium dining options and other cool-but-expensive things. Find out more here .

What’s going on with resale tickets?

With tickets as precious as these, it’s no wonder that they’re already being resold at extortionate prices. Despite a four ticket limit per buyer, resale sites Viagogo and Stubhub already have tickets being resold. Some are listed for as high as £6,000.

Needless to say, you should be especially careful when buying anything on resale and only buy from official resale websites.

What’s been said about the tour so far?

Taylor Swift kickstarted her tour at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium in March, where she debuted a mega three-hour set playing songs from across her career.

The production includes 16 dancers and many set and costume changes, as well as a moment where the singer appears to ‘dive’ into the stage.

At her show in Arlington, Texas, Swift teased the crowd saying: ‘One thing we said about the Eras Tour: you think you can just go online, you think you can just scroll and know the setlist?

‘Let it be said about the Eras Tour ,  we’re tricksy. That’s what we are [and] we enjoy a good, healthy setlist hijinks.'

Translation? Expect the unexpected.

What’s the current setlist for her Eras Tour?

The show is made up of an epic 44-song setlist divided up according to the singer’s ten ‘eras’, which each refer to one of her albums.

The songs included ‘ Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince’, ‘Cruel Summer’, ‘The Man’, ‘You Need to Calm Down’, ‘Lover’, ‘The Archer’, ‘Fearless’, ‘You Belong With Me,’ ‘Love Story’, ‘Tis The Damn Season’, ‘Don’t Blame Me’, ‘22’, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’, ‘Shake it Off’, ‘Anti-Hero’, ‘Mastermind’ and ‘Karma’.

She also performs two different surprise acoustic songs each night and has invited other musicians to perform with her on stage including Phoebe Bridgers and The National’s Aaron Dessner.

Impressively, the singer-songwriter became the youngest person in history to single-handedly write and perform a Number 1 song on the Hot Country Songs chart with 'Our Song'. 2009: VMA Best Female Video award

Although this might not typically be a highlight, it did start the complicated relationship that Taylor Swift and Kanye West went on to have. If you don't know what we're talking about then here's a quick recap. During her acceptance speech for her Best Female Video award win, Kanye West interrupted her on stage to speak up for Beyoncé's 'Single Ladies' video, which he believed should have won the award. This event started an infamous feud between the pair that spanned a decade. Thankfully, Taylor later had the chance to finish her VMA's winner's speech when Beyoncé invited her back on stage during her own win. Taylor Swift's 2009 was not clouded by this though as this was also the year that she embarked on her debut concert tour 'Fearless'. The tour was named after her second album of the same name. Beginning in Indiana and concluding in Canada, Justin Bieber was one of the support acts for this tour back in 2009.

I live in awe of my producer, Nathan Chapman, and all of the wonderful incredibly talented musicians in Nashville, and thank you to anyone who was a Grammy voter and decided that it might be a good idea to vote for me for this, because I'm so happy. Taylor released 'Shake It Off', the first single off of her fifth studio album '1989'. Achieving great success it became her second Billboard Hot 100 Number 1 single in the US and it peaked at Number 2 in the UK Singles Chart. '1989' debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart with the largest sales week for an album since 2002, selling 1.287 million copies in the week ending November 2nd 2014, according to Nielsen SoundScan. 2017: Taylor is one of Time Magazine's 'Silence Breakers'

Taylor's summer court case saw the singer set out to prove a point by requesting only $1 in damages. As a result of her work fighting against sexual assault and harassment, Taylor was among the individuals highlighted. In the Time interview about the court case, Taylor revealed: "I was angry. In that moment, I decided to forego any courtroom formalities and just answer the questions the way it happened. This man hadn't considered any formalities when he assaulted me, and his lawyer didn't hold back on my mom - why should I be polite? I'm told it was the most amount of times the word 'ass' has ever been said in Colorado Federal Court."

2018: Taylor embarks on her 'Reputation' Stadium Tour

Taylor's 2018 'Reputation' tour was massively successful and broke the US record when it became the highest-grossing tour in US history. With 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' described as sister records, 'Evermore' explored the themes of love, marriage and grief, picking up where 'Folklore' left. Taylor's fan base has grown with her own artistic development, like they have been on the journey with her. Fans who signed up to pre-order Taylor's 10th album 'Midnights' last year will automatically get special pre-sale access for Taylor's tour dates in the UK and Europe.

Swifties were also encouraged to register for tickets via the 'tour' section of her website when the European dates were announced on 20th June, however, that window's now closed.

Tickets will be available to purchase via the Ticketmaster & AXS websites only, and access code holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at different times depending on the date and venue they're hoping to get tickets for.

Who's supporting Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour in the UK and Europe?

Paramore is the support act for Taylor's UK and Europe shows, with Taylor announcing the band in a sweet message talking about her close bond with lead singer Hayley Williams.

She tweeted: "Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???"

Taylor posted a statement to her UK site before 'Midnights' dropped

What happened to Taylor Swift's 'Lover' tour & when was Taylor last on tour?

Taylor Swift was last on the road in 2018 when she completed a whopping 53 shows for Reputation World Tour , which accumulated an eye-watering £278 million.

The 'All Too Well' songstress was set to embark on Lover Fest in 2020 to coincide with the release of her seventh studio album, however, it was subsequently axed due to you-know-what.

She announced the festival-themed tour in late-2019, she wrote: "The Lover album is open fields, sunsets, + SUMMER. I want to perform it in a way that feels authentic. I want to go to some places I haven’t been and play festivals. Where we didn’t have festivals, we made some."

Taylor Swift's Lover era was cut short before she could tour

Since her 'Lover' era, the 32-year-old has been very busy having released 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' in 2020 as well re-recordings ' Fearless (Taylor's Version) ' and ' Red (Taylor's Version) ' the following year, and then 'Midnights' in October 2022.

As fans had predicted, Taylor's latest tour celebrates all of her album cycles, giving fans an opportunity to sing along to songs she's never been able to take the stage before.

Since 2019, Taylor has released 72 brand-new tracks and a further 15 from The Vault, so it comes as no surprise that she's packed in as many songs as she could with her Eras Tour setlist!

Taylor Swift broke records with her Reputation World Tour back in 2018

Taylor finally made her return to the road with The Eras Tour on March 17 when she embarked on her first leg of the tour which includes a whopping 52 dates!

The shows will feature special guests Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, beabadoobee, girl in red, Phoebe Bridgers, Muna, HAIM, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and OWENN.

She announced the career-defining tour in November, telling fans: "I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!) The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!"

Taylor Swift performs during The Eras Tour, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

Taylor Swift  has announced a host of international dates for her The Eras Tour including shows in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff and London.

The pop superstar, who has been touring the US performing hit tracks from her back catalogue, tweeted a tour poster announcing the new dates on Tuesday.

She wrote: "Excuse me Hi I have something to say.

"I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!"

The world tour starting in August of this year and ending a year later will see her travel across five continents.

Dates include two shows in Edinburgh, two in Liverpool, one in Cardiff and four in London.

Ms Swift will also play two dates in Dublin.

Fans can get tickets by registering on Ticketmaster before Thursday, June 22.

They will then receive a unique code to give them first access to purchase tickets.

Joining her will be special guest Sabrina Carpenter, a singer and actress with credits in Tall Girl, Work It and The Hate U Give.

For her US dates she is revolving artists to open for her including indie singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers, Paramore, beabadoobee, girl in red, Muna, HAIM, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn.

Swift has recently broken a string of records with her tenth studio album Midnights, which became Spotify’s most streamed album in a single day.

It claimed the biggest first week of UK album sales in 2022 since Adele’s 30 was released in November 2021 and took the title of the most streamed album of the year in its opening week with 72.5 million streams across the seven days.

The record follows after her previous eight UK chart-topping albums, all achieved consecutively: 2012’s Red, 2014 release 1989, 2017’s Reputation, 2019’s Lover, 2020’s Folklore, 2020’s Evermore and re-recordings Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version), both released in 2021.

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

The tour began on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona and extends through Aug. 9, where the singer will wrap with a fifth night at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Swift still has stops left in Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Santa Clara.

Slipknot Announce Here Comes the Pain Summer Tour

Taylor swift dominates entire top 10 on hot 100. again, billie eilish unveils 'hit me hard and soft' world tour dates.

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

The stadium tour was accompanied by a concert film released on New Year’s Eve that year.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

The Eras tour is the sixth headlining concert from Taylor Swift and has been described by the singer-songwriter as a journey through all of her "musical eras". The tour is a tribute to all of Swift's studio albums to date, including her latest, 'Midnights', and those that did not have a tour due to the pandemic, including Lover, Folklore and Evermore.

The singer kicked off the record-breaking tour back in March, impressing loyal fans - or Swifties as they're better know - with a staggering 44-strong setlist lasting over three hours. When the tour does finally arrive on our shores, we're set for quite the show.

Those who have attended dates on her US leg have already seen her smash out hits through a torrential storm, dive head first into the stage, and tease the release of her next rerecorded album, ‘Speak Now: Taylor’s Version’. She’s also been joined by special guests including Ice Spice, Phoebe Bridgers, and Jack Antonoff, and performed a number of surprise tracks from her massive back catalogue as well as new tracks including 'Lavender Haze' and 'Midnight Rain'.

The American songstress also recently announced tour dates in South America - where Sabrina Carpenter will open for her. The tour is currently stopping off in locations across North America, before heading to Mexico, Argentina and Brazil in late 2023.

How to get tickets

The registration process is now open and fans can register on each city’s official ticket registration page here up until Thursday, June 22, at 11.59pm local time in the UK. Registered fans who receive a unique code will have first access to purchase tickets in each city on the specified on-sale dates and times listed below. However, registration does not guarantee access to the sale or to tickets. Additional information on the registration process can be found at Taylorswift.com/tour by clicking through to each city.

Fans who participated in the Taylor Swift UK store Midnights album pre-order offer will qualify for special pre-sale access to all UK and Ireland shows and will be officially communicated with via the email supplied at checkout. For London dates, Midnights pre-order pre-sale access ticket sales start on Monday, July 10 at 10am, for Edinburgh and Dublin it will be Tuesday, July 11 at 10am, and for Cardiff and Liverpool it will be Wednesday, July 12 at 10am.

Tickets To Taylor Swift’s UK Tour Are Available On Pre-Order RN

Here’s how to get your hands on a pre-sale code.

CLEVELAND, OHIO - OCTOBER 30: Taylor Swift performs onstage during the 36th Annual Rock & Roll Hall ...

Scooping up three awards at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards in August, Taylor Swift sent her fans into a frenzy when she announced her next album, Midnights , will be released on Oct. 21. Release day is fast approaching, and Swift has a pretty busy week ahead of her with the release of music videos and press interviews. But fans will be jumping ahead to the all-important question: will Taylor Swift tour the UK anytime soon? And if so, when?

In short, yes she will tour. When remains TBC, but you can already get closer to those tickets right now. On Oct. 17, the singer confirmed on her website that fans who pre-order any version of Midnights through her official UK store will receive a pre-sale code for the “yet to be announced UK show dates.” If you’ve already pre-ordered, “you are automatically eligible to receive a code” and don’t need to place another order. However, if you want to be in for a chance at grabbing the code, you need to place your order before 5 a.m. BST on Oct. 21. You’ll then be sent an email with further pre-sale information with “plenty of warning” before tickets go on sale.

While tour dates and information regarding general sale have yet to be announced, it seems the shows will take place next summer . According to PinkNews, tickets will be available from sellers like Ticketmaster . We’ll keep you updated with further news once we receive it.

The last time Swift performed in the UK was way back in 2018 as part of her Reputation world tour . Swifties worldwide missed out on Lover Fest , a tour set to begin in August 2020, supporting her seventh album, Lover . While no dates in Britain were announced, they were to be revealed at a later date. However, the tour was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and was then canceled altogether. So the Midnights tour will be a long-awaited return for Swift and her fans.

“Prepare.”

Sleep Token are currently in the US and will start their Teeth Of God North American run tomorrow at the Financial Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.

The band are promoting their 2023 album Take Me Back To Eden , which was released via Spinefarm.

Metal Hammer gave Take Me Back To Eden a glowing 8/10 review upon release.

Journalist Dannii Leivers wrote: “Combining feeling and sound in a potent, masterful statement, …Eden is Sleep Token’s strongest effort to date.

“And, while they’ll always be Marmite, there’s no question it will delight those already onboard.

“This is a record that not only expands the band’s universe and continues to prod metal’s boundaries, but considers what it means to be human. Otherworldly they may be, but there’s the deepest empathy within.”

Sleep Token have since inked a deal with major label RCA.

The band announced the signing by calling it the start of their “new era”, which they’d previously teased by unveiling new masks in December 2023.

Mask designer Lani Hernadez-David stated in an interview with Metal Hammer that month: “I’m sure they have something in mind that the fans will appreciate greatly.

“There’s definitely a new era coming, but I won’t speak too much on that, because I’m not really clued up on it.”

Billie Eilish announces world tour for new album

Billie Eilish has announced an 81-date world tour starting later this year.

The What Was I Made For singer confirmed dates in North America, Australia and Europe from September.

Billie previously told music website Billboard her third studio album would be her most sustainable yet and she's partnered with an environmental group to organise it.

Tickets for the tour - named after upcoming album Hit Me Hard And Soft - go on sale on 3 May.

Billie will start in Canada on 29 September before taking her show to the US in October.

She'll then head to Australia in February, arriving in Europe next April.

She has 12 UK dates, including two shows in Glasgow, six in London and four in Manchester.

For her last tour, Happier Than Ever, in 2022, Billie partnered with Reverb, a non-profit organisation that works to promote sustainability in the music industry.

Billie is a long-standing climate campaigner and she committed to making that tour "climate positive", meaning it would eliminate more emissions than it produced.

  • Eilish to release new album using recycled vinyl
  • Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and the album comeback
  • Will 1975's carbon-removed gigs make a difference?

For Hit Me Hard And Soft, which is set to be released on 17 May, Billie's also announced plans to limit the impact of physical copies.

This includes making vinyl copies out of recycled vinyl with the packaging and album sleeves also made from recycled materials.

The singer has announced she would not be releasing any singles in advance, saying she wants fans to hear the album "in one go".

Earlier this year, Cradle Of Faith gave fans an update on when to expect the release of their long-awaited collaboration with  Ed Sheeran .

The collaboration was first revealed in 2021, when the band’s frontman  Dani Filth revealed that he had been in touch with the pop star  and that Sheeran had invited him “up to his place”.

Work on the track was progressing  in 2022 according to Filth, with work then halted due to Sheeran becoming a father. Filth was then pictured  at the pub with Sheeran and producer Scott Atkins  in late 2022, with  a tentative release date of summer 2023 then set .

While the track didn’t arrive then, Filth has now spoken to Polish YouTube channel  Pełna Kulturka   about progress on the track.

“One of the surprises, obviously, but it’s not so much a surprise is that we’ve got a song that we have Ed Sheeran guesting on,” he said. “It’s gonna be on the album.”

Elsewhere, Cradle Of Filth members Marek “Ashok” Šmerda (guitar) and Zoë M. Federoff (keyboard/vocals)  announced that they will be getting married  in a New Year’s post on Instagram.
