Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities.

SeaDream II deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2024-2025-2026 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by SeaDream Yacht Club deckplan pdf (printable version).

Each of the SeaDream II cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on SeaDream II staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.

SeaDream II (1985-built as "Sea Goddess II", last refurbished in 2023 May) is the second of two identical-design "all-inclusive luxury" superyachts - together with SeaDream 1 . The company SeaDream Yacht Club is a family-owned (private) small cruise line established in 2001. The SeaDream 2 ship was previously chartered to Sea Goddess Cruises (1985 to 1998), and also to the lines Cunard and Seabourn (1986 to 2001).

SeaDream II cruise ship deck plan has a total of 56 staterooms for 94 passengers (max capacity is 112 guests) served by 100 crew/staff. The boat has 6 decks (5 passenger-accessible, 3 with cabins), 2 restaurants, 2 lounges and bars, 1 swimming pool, 3 Jacuzzies (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), retractable Marina (aft/stern watersports platform), 1 elevator, Infirmary (medical facility / hospital and pharmacy with a resident doctor onboard).

SeaDream 2 is a top-luxury cruise yacht operated with all-inclusive deals. The list of all complimentary amenities and services features:

• 5-star resort amenities in cabins: smart UHDTV, CD/DVD player, iPod dock station, well-stocked minibar (complimentary), Bvlgari luxury bath amenities, mirrored vanity table, two twins or queen bed with deluxe bedding and pillow menu, logo-embroidered pajamas, terry bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, personal safe.
• Open Bar throughout the ship (all drinks are included in the fares, excepting only premium alcohol and wines), with daily changing fine wines selection at lunch and dinner.
• Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet, laptop computers and powerful binoculars (both for onboard usage only), onboard mountain bikes are offered complimentary on shore excursions. When the boat is anchored, guests can rent some of the onboard Segways (nominal fee applies).

All guests can enjoy a complimentary 24-hour available in-room dining and 24-hour room service, twice a day housekeeping, complimentary laundry, and ironing.

Special events and parties on the yacht can be designed by the SeaDream Cruise Director onboard.

SeaDream 2 refurbishments review

In 2022 (January and May), SeaDream conducted a USD 10 million (EUR 8,8M) drydock refurbishment project for both yachts at Navalrocha Ship Repair  Lisbon  (Portugal).

Works included full-scale renovations of all staterooms (new furniture, hardware, textiles, wardrobes, electrical upgrades / USB charging ports, Wi-Fi, fingerprint sensor lights, 55-inch smart HDTVs), all outside deck spaces (premium teakwood flooring, premium mahogany Balinese beds and sun loungers, Loro Piana upholstery and cushions, Frette towels, TUUCI parasols and hammocks), upgraded cabin amenities (woven lines, silk pajamas, silver ice buckets, GioBagnara Miramar trays).

Forward on Deck 6 (Sundeck's sunbathing area) were installed 2x new Jacuzzies and 2x new rain showers.

The aft-located/stern Marina Platform was also upgraded.

In November 2022, to the superyacht was added an inflatable water slide which is deployed from the pool deck (Deck 3 aft). The slide is approx 6 m / 19 ft above the sea and with length 7 m / 24 ft and width 0,3 m / 5 ft.

Huge amounts of cash are being splashed on sprucing up interiors, and one example of this decadence is Regent Seven Seas Cruises ' Seven Seas Explorer, which has 473 Swedish-designed chandeliers, 45,876 square feet of marble, Versace-designed dinnerware, crystal glasses from Eastern Europe and a $12 million art collection which includes several Picassos.

Orient Express is set to launch a seriously luxurious ship

After launching the world’s most luxurious train 140 years ago, Orient Express will launch an opulent ship to match. Orient Express Silenseas, which will take to the waves in 2026, will have 54 suites (including a 15,231-square-foot Presidential Suite), two swimming pools, two restaurants and a speakeasy bar. Oh, and a recording studio. Prices are to be confirmed (but will inevitably be eye-watering).

There are butlers onboard with a Silversea cruise

Book a sailing with  Silversea  and you’re guaranteed your own butler. They'll be on hand to help with everything from the unpacking of luggage to the opening of the Champagne bottles.
