Five Finger Death Punch Setlists: What to Expect at the AfterLife Tour

Five Finger Death Punch are winding up for another round of live shows supporting their ninth album, 2022’s AfterLife . Between support slots in 2023 and 2024 across Europe and North America for Metallica ’s M72 World Tour, FFDP are ready to flex a full setlist once again with a series of headlining dates starting this summer.

The hard rock group from Las Vegas, composed of vocalist Ivan L. Moody, guitarists Zoltan Bathory and Andy James, bassist Chris Kael and drummer Charlie Engen, have remained on the road consistently since AfterLife arrived in August 2022. Now, the band returns to the stage with the album’s deluxe edition in-hand, featuring four new recordings including the posthumous DMX mash-up “This Is the Way.”

Five Finger Death Punch will hit the road for a huge U.S. arena tour in the fall with country rocker Brantley Gilbert . The duo announced the dates for the 20-city outing on Monday (Aug. 15), revealing that it is slated to kick-off on Nov. 9 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

They’ll be joined by newcomer Corey Marks on the Live Nation-produced tour, which will keep them on the road through a Dec. 17 date at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas. While it’s the first time FFDP and Gilbert will share the stage, it is just the latest cross-genre collaboration between the acts, who teamed up on the 2019 hit “Blue on Black”; the cover of the Kenny Wayne Shepherd track featuring Queen’s Brian May, Shepherd and Gilbert became FFDP’s seventh No.1 on Billboard ‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart.

Fan club pre-sales for both headliners will kick off at 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday (Aug. 16), with other pre-sales slated to being at 10 a.m. local time on Thursday (Aug. 18); general public tickets will be available beginning 10 a.m. local time on Friday (Aug. 19). FFDP are gearing up to release their ninth studio album, Afterlife , on Friday, the same day they will kick-off a summer tour with Megadeth, The Hu and Fire From the Gods. Gilbert recently released “Son of the Dirty South” with Jelly Roll and is preparing to hit the road on Aug. 25 for his “Son of the Dirty South” summer tour across the Southeast.

Metal band Five Finger Death Punch and country rock singer Brantley Gilbert are joining forces for a 22-date tour. The unlikely pairing will also be joined by Canadian country singer Cory Marks.

Although the genre-mashup might seem odd at first glance, the metal band fronted by Ivan Moody and Gilbert released a cover of Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s “Blue on Black” in 2019 that also featured Shepherd and Queen guitarist Brian May.

Produced by Live Nation, the co-headlining arena tour will begin on Nov. 9 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and close on Dec. 17 with a performance in Las Vegas. Five Finger Death Punch will be performing their forthcoming album, “Afterlife,” which is slated for release later this week (Aug. 19). See the full lineup of dates below.

Metal rockers Five Finger Death Punch are coming to Des Moines in August. Get tickets

You won’t be in “Bad Company” when heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch take over the Wells Fargo Arena in August.

The band from Las Vegas, Nevada will perform on Aug. 19 and are joined by controversial rocker Marilyn Manson and Russian deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail.

Some of Five Finger Death Punch’s popular songs are “Wrong Side of Heaven,” “A Little Bit Off” and “Welcome To The Circus.” Formed in 2005, Five Finger Death Punch recently released a special, digital deluxe edition of their 2022 album, “AfterLife.”

Five Finger Death Punch performed at another large Iowa show in recent years: the Iowa State Fair Grandstand in 2021 .

The hard rockers have joined Metallica for several shows throughout their 2023-2024 world tour.
