Exit on the east side old roads of Funchal, going through the oldest part of the city, heading to a unique view point making a stop to discover its beautiful landscape, and get to know a little bit about its history, way of living, typical products, local food and drinks. After all photos taken, return to Funchal centre to visit the west side of Funchal and enter in the harbour to have a different and unique view of the City at night time.

The drop-off can be at Funchal’s Cruise Harbour, or on any other point on the city of Funchal.

OLD ROAD SIDECAR TOUR OF FUNCHAL, MADEIRA

Visit the historical centre of Funchal, passing through the Farmer’s Market, old town, Monte’s Cable car Station (optional short walk through the old town), and Western sightseeing point of Funchal.

Exit on the east side old roads of Funchal, going through the oldest part of the city, heading to a unique viewpoint making a stop to discover its beautiful landscape, and get to know a little bit about its history, way of living, typical products, local food and drinks.

After all photos have been taken, the tour continues into the Natural Reserve of “Garajau”, where the Lord King Statue is. A great view over the Ocean, with Funchal at a distance and on the horizon the Desert Islands; will be waiting for you on this next stop.

Return to Funchal with a final stop for a drink.

Took us to various sightseeing spots for photo stop, also stopped at a view point where there was a local cafe where we had the opportunity at our expense to taste the local drink "poncha" made with rum, lemon and orange and honey, very tasty it was too also tried a local cheese dish.
