MS Bolero Kabinen

Alle Kabinen sind stilvoll und komfortabel eingerichtete Außenkabinen und verfügen über ein Bad mit Dusche und WC, einen Föhn, eine individuell regulierbare Klimaanlage/Heizung, ein Radio, einen TV, eine Minibar, einen Safe und ein Telefon. Die Kabinen sind ca. 16 qm groß und bieten zusammengestellte Einzelbetten, die auf Wunsch getrennt gestellt werden können. Kabinen auf Mittel- und Oberdeck verfügen über bodentiefe Panoramafenster, die zu einem französischen Balkon geöffnet werden können. All cabins on BOLERO are stylish and comfortably furnished outside cabins and have individually adjustable air conditioning / heating, shower / toilet, satellite TV with radio, hairdryer, refrigerator, safe and telephone. The cabins are approx. 16 m² in size and offer beds next to each other, which can be separated if desired.

Cabins on the middle and upper deck have floor-to-ceiling panorama windows that can be opened (French balcony), the cabins on the main deck have large portholes that cannot be opened.

Some of the 2-bed cabins can also be occupied by 3 people.

About MS Bolero

The Bolero, the sister ship of the Victoria, offers a high level of comfort, tasteful ambience and spacious, nicely decorated staterooms. The full glazing of the restaurant and bar provides an excellent view of the passing river landscape. The spacious spa area with sauna, whirlpool, fitness equipment and recreation area offers pure relaxation. At a length of almost 130 meters, the ship can accommodate up to 180 passengers.

MS Bolero staterooms

All staterooms are stylish and comfortably furnished outside staterooms and have a bathroom with shower and toilet, a hair dryer, an individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, a radio, a TV, a minibar, a safe and a telephone. The staterooms are approximately 16 sqm in size and offer put together single beds that can be placed separately on request. Staterooms on the middle and upper decks have floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that can be opened to a French balcony. The staterooms on the main deck, on the other hand, have large windows that cannot be opened. Some two-bed staterooms can also accommodate three people.

Atmosphere on board

A warm atmosphere awaits you on board the Bolero. Whether you want to enjoy a quiet moment, pause with a good book or take part in a social event on board, everything is provided on this ship. Various theme nights and music programs offer enough variety. The clothing on board is casual, well-groomed clothes are preferred for dinner. The language on board is German and the currency on board is Euro.

All guest can dine in the spaciously Panorama restaurant at the same time, for which you can make a table reservation on the day of boarding. Nicko Cruises has a highly professional and friendly service team on each of the cruises and offers menus with an international cuisine as well as traditional and local dishes.

Entertainment, sports & relaxation

For your leisure time, theme and quiz evenings, bingo and music programs are offered in the restaurant. Books, board and card games are also available. The spacious wellness area with sauna, relaxation area, whirlpool and fitness equipment invites you to relax or exercise. On the sundeck you can admire the passing landscape.

MS Bolero shore excursions

The cruise operator offers optional bookable shore excursions, which are adapted to the respective length of stay in the port. Suitable for your cruise you can book a trip package that combines the highlights of each route into a single package. On board, however, you can also book only certain elements of the excursion packages, as long as there are seats available, and make your cruise even more individual. On many excursions, an audio system is available so that you can follow the explanations of your tour guide quite relaxed, without missing interesting highlights. In addition to classic excursion programs, nicko cruises also offers some active bike trips. At the end of the cruise, you can conveniently pay your bill and excursions booked on board in cash, with your EC or credit card.

MS Bolero cruise ship deck plan shows 90 passenger cabins, Restaurant, Bar Lounge, Foyer (Tour Office, Reception Desk), Gift Shop, Wellness complex (Fitness, Sauna Room, Relax Room with Jacuzzi/whirlpool hot tub), Sun Deck with retractable Awnings (shaded seating lounge with tables and chairs, full bar service) and sunbathing area (padded loungers and deckchairs).

Three staircases connect all decks, including a sweeping staircase in the Atrium.

Explore the historical and cultural wonders of Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna on water and land, by day and by night, as you discover the most beautiful cities on the upper Danube. Tour the religious highlights of the region, from the pilgrimage site of Maria Taferl to the Basilica of Esztergom, the largest church in Hungary. Tradition comes alive during a spectacular horse-riding demonstration, featuring the colourful cowboys of the Puszta plains. Aboard your riverboat, there will always be time to sit back and enjoy the enchanting landscapes of the Wachau valley and the Danube Knee.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: passau- hotel stay (2024 sailings).

Enjoy your pre-cruise hotel stay in Passau.

Day 2: Passau

Embarkation from 15:00 to 16:00

Day 3: Krems

Arrival: 14:15 – Departure 19:00

Cruise through the Danube valley of Wachau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Journey back in time through more than nine hundred years of history at the Monastery of Herzogenburg, followed by a guided tour of Krems, with time to explore independently.

Day 4: Esztergom

Arrival 12:00 – Departure 15:30

Excursion to the impressive Basilica of Esztergom, Hungary’s largest church, in the former capital city.

Arrival 19:30

Budapest at night excursion , with Hungarian music – or an impressive light tour, both on land and on the water, with the river rider bus.

Day 5: Budapest

Departure: 20:45

City walking tour of Budapest’s impressive buildings.

““Budapest impressions” walking tour through the city, including a journey on the oldest underground train in continental Europe, or a Puszta tour with a traditional horsemanship demonstration – or experience Budapest more actively on a bicycle tour.

Day 6: Bratislava

Arrival 13:45 – Departure 23:00

Walking tour of Bratislava’s lovingly restored historical alleyways and a trip to the castle, the city’s landmark. Afterwards, there will be time to explore the city yourself.

Evening odyssey through Bratislava, culminating at the summit of Castle Hill, for views of the city’s sea of light below.

Day 7: Vienna

Arrival 06:30 – Departure 19:00

Walking city tour of the tradition-steeped Danube city of Vienna, including St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Hofburg and Ringstraße.

Day 8: Ybbs

Arrival 07:00 – Departure 13:00

Visit to the impressive Basilica of Maria Taferl , one of the most significant places of pilgrimage in Lower Austria – or the imposing hydroelectric power station of Ybbs-Persenbeug.

Day 9: Passau

Disembarkation until 9:30am. Transfer by local rail to Munich airport for return flight home or extend your stay with a Munich City Stay package (pricing on request).
