Pendle witch tour

What an amazing day , great Halloween activity for adults , weather was perfect . Very interesting tour , knowledgeable guide , some great story’s . The coach driving was epic on the tiny country rds . Even though I am a little disabled I managed it , you can stay on the coach if needed . Well recommend

I am so glad you enjoyed the tour and felt it answered your needs. I try to make the tour at a leisurely pace so no one feels they have to rush about which is important when some passengers have issues they have to work around. I am so glad you enjoyed your day in this magnificent area, and Steve our driver is one of the best both as a driver and a companion on the tour, and Alecia is always thinking of the passengers welfare making sure no-one feels left out. Occasionally, not on every tour, I burst into a song in praise of Pendle Hill and the passengers grin and bear it and I get a round of applause, which I revel in!.

My Mum and I went on the Pendle Witch tour today and have both thoroughly enjoyed it! Really well run, organised and brilliant communication over email. The tour was so interesting, great stops and Brenda is a wealth of information on the history of Pendle, witches and Lancashire. Would highly recommend! And nice touches such as the maps to print off, free parking, recommendation of where you eat. Thank you!

My mum, 2 of her friends and myself went on this tour and it was brilliant. I have been to Pendle many times but with the raft of information given by Brenda, the guide, it really brought to life the events surrounding the witch trials. We were also given information about other people who came from the area and went on to great things. Will definitely be looking to book again for next year

I have seen this tour over the last couple of years, so I decided to book it for my friend and I. What an absolute brilliant 3 hours, had a couple of stops for photos and opportunities to learn about our local area. It was brilliant learning how a remote area of Lancashire had such an influence of the last 400 years in law, inventions and rebellion. Brenda and tour leader is so entertaining and knowledgeable. If you are visiting Lancashire and you know in advance well worth getting in touch and booking before you arrive. Even bought 'the leaflet' to take away which is more like a small booklet. Beautiful countryside, we were lucky with the weather.

I recently went on this tour with my two friends ,I'd like to say how friendly the team are ,a special mention to Brenda Kean for giving lots of information in a relaxed and fun way ,although their were a few little pauses it was more personable not being perfect ,we visited some lovely places and it was definitely worth the £20 ,a couple of mild recommendations would be to include a longer stop off in one of the villages for lunch (we ate at the mill and although staff were friendly and it's very clean,the food wasn't nice at all and we waited over £40 mins for basic food)also a little bit more on witches and evidence of witchcraft would be welcomed ,that aside we thoroughly enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend it

Some things are not in our control as for example the villages are so small that there are no cafes or shops selling food and the pubs in the villages do not welcome coach parties. We tried them in the past but they let us down at last minute without warning and were abusive. Unfortunately there was a mix up at the Mill cafe as they had not been passed an email that was sent by me warning them of the tour,which meant a wait for food. We have made sure this will not happen again. The trial and execution of the so called witches had no 'evidence' of witchcraft, which perhaps was not made clear. Note made for future tours
