Snoop Dogg announces huge list of supports for his 2023 Australian tour
- X (formerly Twitter)
Snoop Dogg has locked in supports for his 2023 Australian tour, with a host of guests locked in to make these shows extra special.
Detroit is heavbily represented, with Obie Trice serving as main support, and Eminem's old collective D12 , which usually features members Bizarre, Kuniva and Swifty, also returning to Australia with Snoop.
Tha Dogg Pound , the Death Row Records group made up of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger, will join their old mate Snoop on these shows. So will controversial Irish superstars Versatile , who'll get things started on their first Australian tour.
Read on for all the info on dates and venues.
When Californian hip hop icon Snoop Dogg pulled out of his 2022 Australian tour a few months back, promoters swore that he still full intended on making it back to Australia as soon as possible.
They weren't kidding, and today announce new dates for early 2023.
It's extra good news for some, with Snoop also locking in a date for Adelaide and second shows in Sydney and Melbourne to meet demand.
These will be Snoop's first Australian shows since 2014 when he played the Big Day Out, so his multi-generational fanbase will be very eager to finally have him back in the country.
Not only has he made some of the greatest hip hop songs in history, he's been a key cultural figure of the past 30 years.
He was a key part of one of 2022 most incredible music moments , he hosted a pretty weird cooking show , and, yes, he performed the jingle for a food delivery service that is probably your child's only knowledge of him (and that's probably a good thing).
While it has been some time since he appeared in Australia, we can say that past visits have been very good. Snoop has always rolled out classic hits sets full of good humour and great vibes. Most importantly, his work on the mic has almost always been completely on point.
Catch Snoop Dogg playing the following shows. Tickets are on sale now and Previously purchased tickets will automatically be transferred to allow access to new tour dates.

SNOOP DOGG TOUR IS BACK ON! PLUS THREE MASSIVE NEW SHOWS ADDED, WITH D12 & VERSATILE!
Second shows added in Sydney and Melbourne, plus a new date in Adelaide due to huge demand!
Finally, the wait is over and Californian Hip Hop icon Snoop Dogg has officially announced brand new dates for his massive upcoming tour down under, including adding extra shows in Sydney and Melbourne to meet overwhelming demand.
Kicking off in Perth at RAC Arena on 27 February 2023, Snoop Dogg will then head to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena for two huge shows before performing two shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, a massive show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre before wrapping up the tour with a brand new show in Adelaide on March 08.
Snoop Dogg, who hasn’t performed in Australia since 2014 when he headlined the Big Day Out, will return to Australian shores in 2023 for his ‘I WANNA THANK ME’ tour, which will see the West Coast rap legend celebrate the release of his 17th album ‘I Wanna Thank Me’, and documentary of the same name, released in 2019.
While the ‘I Wanna Thank Me’ documentary celebrates 25 years of Snoop Dogg – a career that has seen the Doggfather cement his undisputed influence on music with chart-topping, multi-platinum records, while also solidifying his importance as a cultural icon, actor and businessman – the upcoming Australian tour will be all about the music!
Hailed by Rolling Stone as ‘America’s Most Lovable Pimp; a hip-hop star that has survived gangsta rap, charmed Hollywood and won over soccer moms – a hip-hop family man who’s evolved from consummate thug to ultimate mack’, Snoop Dogg remains one of the most important figures in music, almost three decades into his career.
He’s roasted Donald Trump on national television, baked brownies with Martha Stewart, co-headlined the Superbowl Half Time Show and collaborated with a list of celebrities that includes 2Pac, Pharrell Williams, Dr Dre, Eminem, Warren G, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and many more.
Despite immediately turning heads with his appearance on Dr. Dre’s iconic album The Chronic in 1992, few could have predicted the meteoric rise of the California local; 17 studio albums, 17 Grammy nominations and tens of millions of record sales, plus appearances in acclaimed movies and TV shows and his own burgeoning cannabis business.
From playing piano at his local baptist church in Long Beach, to becoming one of the world’s most recognised, revered and respected artists….and he’s not even close to retiring. Get ready for Snoop Dogg Australia!

Snoop Dogg announces rescheduled Australian tour for 2023
Snoop is set to perform his first Australian shows since 2014 in February and March next year
After cancelling his planned Australian tour earlier this year, Snoop Dogg has announced rescheduled dates for February and March 2023.
The rapper was originally set to perform multiple arena shows in Australia in October and November this year, but cancelled them in May, with a statement citing “unforeseen scheduling conflicts, including family obligations and upcoming TV and film projects”.
Now, Snoop will head to Australia next year to perform his first shows in the country since his headline Big Day Out festival appearances in 2014. The tour will kick off February 27 at Perth’s RAC Arena, before a pair of dates at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on March 1 and 2.
Snoop will then play Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on March 4 and 5, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 7, and finish up the run with a gig at Adelaide Entertainment Centre the following evening. Tickets for Snoop’s cancelled shows earlier this year remain valid for 2023’s dates. New tickets are on sale now – find details here .
Snoop’s upcoming dates are part of his ‘I Wanna Thank Me’ world tour, titled after his 2019 album and documentary of the same name. The rapper has released two more studio albums since then: ‘From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites’ in 2021, and ‘BODR’ earlier this year.
The latter – an abbreviation for ‘Back On Death Row’ – marked his first album through Death Row Records since 1996’s ‘Tha Doggfather’. Snoop became the new owner of Death Row in February, saying he was “thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant” company at the time.
Aside from his solo material, this year has also seen Snoop join Dr. Dre , Eminem , Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar to perform at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show . In June, he teamed up with Em on the collaborative track ‘From The D 2 The LBC’ , and also featured on Benny Blanco and BTS ‘ ‘Bad Decisions’ in August. Earlier this month, his Mount Westmore project with Ice Cube , E-40 and Too $hort, released their debut album .

Back in October, Snoop revealed he was working on a new album titled ‘Missionary’ with production handled entirely by Dr. Dre. The release date was originally marked for November, but the record has not yet materialised.

FEBRUARY Monda 27 – Perth, RAC Arena
MARCH Wednesday 1, Thursday 2 – Sydney, Qudos Bank Arena Saturday 4, Sunday 5 – Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena Tuesday 7 – Brisbane, Entertainment Centre Wednesday 8 – Adelaide, Entertainment Centre

Back in December, around the same time Snoop’s tour was rescheduled, a biopic about the beloved hip hop figure was revealed to be in the works.
As Deadline reported, the movie is in partnership with Snoop's newly formed Death Row Pictures and Universal Pictures. The biopic will be the first film from Death Row Pictures and feature music from Snoop Dogg's extensive catalogue.
Menace II Society director, Allen Hughes , takes the reigns alongside Black Panther' s Joe Robert Cole, penning the script. Snoop is co-producing with Hughes and Sara Ramaker .
"I waited a long time to put this project together because I wanted to choose the right director, the perfect writer, and the greatest movie company I could partner with that could understand the legacy that I'm trying to portray on screen and the memory I'm trying to leave behind," Snoop revealed in a statement. "It was the perfect marriage. It was holy matrimony, not holy macaroni."

Dr. Dre joins Snoop Dogg on his Australian tour
The wait is over for Snoop Dogg fans. Kicking off in Perth at RAC Arena on 27 February 2023 today, Snoop will then head to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena for two huge shows before performing two shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, a massive show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre before wrapping up the tour with a brand new show in Adelaide on March 08, 2023.
The Californian Hip-Hop icon, who hasn’t performed in Australia since 2014 when he headlined the Big Day Out, will returns to the country shores for his ‘I WANNA THANK ME’ tour, which will see the West Coast rap legend celebrate the release of his 17th album ‘I Wanna Thank Me’, and documentary of the same name, released in 2019.
Special guest include D12 (Swifty McVay, Kuniva and Bizarre), Obie Trice, Tha Dogg Pound, and Irish crew Versatile. It was reported that Detroit’s own Obie Trice was denied entry into the country for misbehavior. As it seems, Dr. Dre will join Snoop on stage as a surprise guest as the legendary duo has just checked in Perth, Australia. In his Instagram post, Snoop wrote: “Life story.”
Snoop Dogg’s Australian tour dates include:
Mon 27 Feb 2023 RAC Arena, WA Wed 1 Mar 2023 Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney NSW Thu 2 Mar 2023 Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney NSW Sat 4 Mar 2023 Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne VIC Sun 5 Mar 2023 Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne VIC Tue 7 Mar 2023 Brisbane Entertainment Centre, QLD Wed 8 Mar 2023 Adelaide Entertainment Centre, SA

Snoop Dogg Announces Star-Studded "Cali To Canada" Tour In 2024
Snoop Dogg is blessing the Prairie province with tour dates and iconic openers.
Snoop Dogg is a busy man. He's been one of the hardest working figures in hip-hop history since he arrived on the scene, and he's going to maintain his packed schedule with an upcoming tour in Canada. Snoop announced the tour on his Instagram, which will bear the catchy title of the "Cali to Canada Tour." To really hammer the point home, the Doggfather is wearing a maple leaf hockey jersey on the poster. Snoop's opening acts will be fellow west coast legends DJ Quik and Warren G .
The tour will span several Canadian cities, including Toronto, Calgary, Quebec City and Montreal. This is not the first time Snoop has toured the Sunshine Province, as he went on a joint tour with Wiz Khalifa in summer 2023. What makes the "Cali to Canada Tour" different, however, is the emphasis on cities in the rural Prairie province. There will be 11 dates in total, starting with Halifax on June 3 and ending with Vancouver on June 25.

It's a great time to book tickets to a Snoop show. The rapper is experiencing a career renaissance between the 30th anniversary of his album Doggystyle and the anticipation for his upcoming album with Dr. Dre, Missionary . Snoop and Dre are selling Missionary as a spiritual sequel to Doggystyle , as evidenced by its personnel and suggestive album title. Snoop talked about the recording process for Missionary during an appearance on All the Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackso n. He praised Dre for challenging him as a rapper, and bringing out the "grown" side of his songwriting.
Tickets for the "Cali to Canada Tour" go on sale at 10 am on Friday, April 5th. The presale for the tickets kicks off on Thursday, April 4th, with additional pre-sale options throughout the week. Snoop also gave fans a code ("CALI2CANADA") that will expedite the ticket buying process on sites like Ticketmaster. If you don't get to see Snoop in Canada, the rapper will also be performing at the Lovers & Friends festival. The festival will be held in Las Vegas on May 4, and tickets are currently available.

Snoop Dogg Announces Canadian Tour in 2024
I t’s not often that an artist from the US kicks off a Canada-only tour, but it looks like Snoop Dogg is trying to shake things up. The rapper/actor is hitting the road all the way to Canada this year with support from Warren G and DJ Quik! The Cali To Canada Tour will only cover 12 dates through the month of June, so fans should get their tickets quickly.
The Snoop Dogg 2024 Tour will kick off on June 3 in Halifax, Nova Scotia at Scotiabank Centre. The short tour will close on June 25 in Vancouver, British Columbia at Rogers Arena.
It looks like Ticketmaster will be the main spot to get tickets to the Cali To Canada Tour. To get in on the artist presale, use the code “CALI2CANADA”. In addition to the artist presale, there are also a few VIP and premium ticket packages available. There will also be Live Nation and additional presale events starting tomorrow on April 4.
General on-sale will start on April 5 at 10:00 am local. If you missed out on the presale, Viagogo may be a good spot to get your tickets after general on-sale goes live. Viagogo tends to have good deals for non-US tour dates. If Viagogo doesn’t work out, check Stubhub to see if any last-minute tickets are available.
Don’t miss your chance to see Snoop in Canada! Get your tickets now.
