Swiss Travel System AG is a Zurich-based marketing company co-founded in 2011 by Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), Switzerland Tourism (ST) and five private railway companies. Its mission is the joint worldwide marketing of Switzerland’s comprehensive public transport network. Key tasks include global marketing of Swiss public transport nationwide and the incoming ticket range, as well as the promotion of cross-border travel from Switzerland’s neighbouring countries.

What does Swiss Travel System offer the Swiss Abroad?

Some 29,000 kilometres of rail, road and waterway cover the country like a finely woven network. Convenient and punctual connections promise a hassle-free onward journey – from any airport or border station or from neighbouring countries. The Swiss Travel System offers travellers from abroad the possibility to discover excursion destinations, mountains, lakes and more than 500 museums with one single ticket: the Swiss Travel Pass. During the annual Congress of the Swiss Abroad, participants benefit from discounted offers.

O seu mandato consiste em agrupar e gerir especificamente a comercialização dos transportes públicos suíços no estrangeiro.
