Great company for nerdy things…
Great company for all things boardgames, D&D and manga! I used to enjoy visiting their shops in Leeds & York, having purchase a few games in person, but unfortunately moved away from the area. I'm happy to say ordering online from them has been a fantastic experience. Very fast shipping and tempted me back with more free shipping on a lower purchase. I ordered over the weekend and received my items today!

My favourtie shop for manga and graphic novels!
This is a really great company! I've been to their stores and made several online orders and have always had a great experience. They have a really good range of manga and graphic novels, and they are almost always cheaper than buying them at other books stores. If anything is out of stock, they tend to come back in pretty quickly. They also have loads of board games. The stores are nicely laid out and always have friendly, helpful staff. When ordering online, delivery is quick. I've used their customer services before who were very helpful. I had a parcel arrived damaged (this was the fault of the courier), and Travelling Man's customer services team responded to my email quickly and were able to replace my order which was sent out promptly with no issues. I will be going back!

Site UX needs some work
Got the items I wanted at a reasonable price. Communications could be clearer - site offers in-store pick up but this is for the warehouse only, not the associated brick-and-mortar stores. The warehouse is then also only open Mon-Fi 9:30-4:30, so a little restricted for pick up times. Resolved pick up in the end but not before a wasted trip to the store! Staff there also did not mention the limited warehouse open hours at the time, nor did the email manager when I expressed my intent to pick up on a Saturday.

Always a great buying experience. One time they didn't have an item I ordered in stock and contacted me with an offer of similar product plus a freebie. Great customer service and prompt delivery.
Quality Board Game Store
Have been coming to the Leeds store for their board game evenings for the past few months and love their selection and the experience. Staff have always been welcoming and provide great customer service. Ordered a few games from their website as I couldn't find what I wanted in-store, but everything ran like clockwork with the eCommerce. Would highly recommend for all tabletop hobby and games needs!

Very happy with Travelling Man. I got Gosu X from them at a great price through the mail. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition. They also gave me 3 extra foil cards for the game as a bonus. So very happy about that. A great game and a great service from Travelling Man. 5-Stars.

Great pricing, very speedy shipping, overall amazing service! Shame I couldn't give it a sixth star.
What a brilliant company, they did as they said they would 😊
What a brilliant company, placed my 1st ever order with them , quite a high value order for several Monster perfect edition books then I though oh dam I need to ask something, so I then sent an email to make an enquiry before they despatched my books, I got a very fast email back and was very pleased with their reply. My set of books arrived exactly as they said they would, well packaged, no creases or anything wrong with the books, all were excellent. I had one very happy 13yr old grandson whom absolutely loved his surprise birthday gift of books. I have already recommended this company to others and I will soon be ordering books again from them for Christmas gifts.

A passenger has died after falling ill on a Jet2 flight from Bulgaria to Liverpool .
The pilot on the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Cologne in Germany after the man required medical assistance during the flight last Monday.
The Flight LS3214 had departed from Bourgas at around 1pm local time on 16 September, and was expected to arrive at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport four hours later.
But crew members declared the emergency after the man reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest. The Sun reported how efforts were made on board to resuscitate him before he died.
A medical team then raced onto the plane once it had landed at Cologne, according to the Mirror .
Online flight tracking data showed that after several hours at the airport, the plane set off again for Liverpool at 10:17pm local time (9.17pm BST), and landed at 10.27pm.
A Jet2 spokesperson said: “We can confirm that flight LS3214 from Bourgas to Liverpool Johnn Lennon diverted to Cologne on Monday 16th September, due to a customer requiring medical assistance.
“Regrettably, we can confirm that the customer sadly passed away.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the customer’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
In January, a man was found dead inside a Jet2 plane’s toilet after fellow travellers noticed the door had been locked for a while and alerted staff.
The flight from Tenerife to Manchester was forced to land in Cork in Ireland.
One passenger said at the time all those on board were “very upset” by the devastating incident.

Man on 'flying carpet' soars into air like real-life Aladdin: 'Amazing way to defy reality'
Extreme traveler and daredevil says he's living out a childhood dream.
French man leaps off mountainside and 'flies' into air on carpet
A real-life "Aladdin" by the name of Freddy Montigny of France takes to the skies over Croix des Têtes in this dramatic video. He's been practicing extreme air sports for years and calls himself a "professional carpet rider."
A French daredevil has turned his childhood dreams into reality by "soaring" from mountain cliffs — on a flying carpet.
Freddy Montigny, 44, has spent years honing his skills in extreme sports to live out a dream of becoming a real-life Aladdin, according to SWNS, the British news service.
He developed a unique stunt by using expertise gained from paragliding, skydiving and hang-gliding over the years — all of which gave him the control he needed, he said, to "fly" on a carpet.
TRAVELERS REFLECT ON VIRAL 9-MONTH-LONG WORLD CRUISE THAT TOOK OVER TIKTOK
Dramatic video shows Montigny's daring jump from the Croix des Têtes, a 2,400-meter-high mountain in the Vercors range in France . (See the video at the top of this article.)
He can be seen falling rapidly to 1,600 meters while "riding" a carpet.

Montigny of Choranche, France said, "I’ve always wondered what part of the myths and legends we were told as kids was true," as SWNS reported.
He said he started "paragliding at 25, skydiving at 30, and hang-gliding at 35."
These activities, he said, "helped me master the art of carpet flying."
He called the parachute his "main safety net."
Fox News Digital reached out to Montigny for further comment.

In his social media postings, Montigny has stressed "linking childhood dreams to adult reality."
He has also noted his "years of experience," including practice at Vercors Massif — a range in France consisting of rugged plateaus and mountains — and a trusty parachute.

He told SWNS, "If anything goes wrong, I just release the carpet and open it. With the height I’m jumping from, I have plenty of time to correct any mistakes."

He also said, "With this flying carpet, I’ve learned that while you can’t fly at any speed or to any destination , it’s still an amazing way to defy reality."
He said he "wanted to play with reality and use the skills I’ve learned in life to chase this dream."

On his YouTube channel in mid-August this summer, Montigny showed off what he called "the fastest way to go fishing or [to] work."
He went on, "Remember the little child playing in the wind or simulating the plane with his jacket open ... And now … it's real," he wrote, wearing what appeared to be a modified raincoat.

South Korean Man Arrested 16 Years After Burying Girlfriend In Cement On Balcony
A construction worker repairing a leak on the rooftop balcony stumbled upon a travel suitcase encased in concrete and bricks, containing the partially preserved remains of the victim..
In a stunning breakthrough, South Korean police have solved a shocking cold case from 2008, arresting a man in his 50s for murdering his live-in girlfriend and encasing her body in cement on their apartment balcony. According to Korea Times , the gruesome crime went undetected for years, filed as a missing person case until a chance discovery last month. A construction worker repairing a leak on the rooftop balcony stumbled upon a travel suitcase encased in concrete and bricks, containing the partially preserved remains of the victim, identified as B.
Initial investigations in 2011 suspected the boyfriend identified as A, but lack of evidence and leads led to a dead end. However, advances in forensic technology and a thorough re-examination of the case led police to re-question the boyfriend.
During interrogation, the boyfriend confessed to killing his girlfriend --who was in her 30s at the time--during a heated argument over a romantic issue in October 2008. He admitted to striking her on the head and face with a blunt object. He then placed her dead body into a suitcase, which he buried under a layer of bricks and cement on his balcony.
Fingerprint analysis identified the partially preserved body, and an autopsy revealed blunt force trauma to the head as the cause of death. Police promptly identified the boyfriend as the prime suspect and arrested him on September 19 in Yangsan.
Additional revelations exposed how the crime remained hidden for so long. The boyfriend deceived B's family and the landlord, claiming she had left after an argument. Notably, her family had lost contact with her and were misled about her whereabouts. When they travelled to Geoje in search of their daughter, they were informed by Mr A that the couple had separated, and B had departed the city.
He continued occupying the apartment until 2017 when he was imprisoned for drug charges. The landlord, unaware of the gruesome secret, used the room as storage space, leaving the concrete-encased body undisturbed.
The boyfriend faces charges related to his drug use, as the statute of limitations for concealing a corpse has expired. Prosecutors will review the case once the investigation is complete.
