5 star island tour

We did the 5 star island tour which was great open air taxi ride to the world famous mountain with banana daquiri which I considered being expensive at $18 for a glass started at $11 Views were amazing on to Meghan bay and shopping

The tour consists of a boat ride to St. John's where you board an open air vehicle for a tour of the island. The boat ride was narrated by Garen and our tour guide on the island was Kevin. Both were informative and friendly. Kevin stopped during the tour to pick bay leaves and allowed us to smell a fresh bay leave, which is vastly different than the dried ones. At the end, we stopped by a local ice cream parlor, but we were too short on time to indulge. : ( Great tour, though.

We had an amazing time! The whole crew were very informative, fun and relaxing. They took us on their glass bottom party boat, steel drum band, music, drinks, dancing. Had a couple of hours on the beautiful beach, they know their stuff. Thank You, it was a highlight of our trip.

WE took this excursion, but it mostly consisted of a series of souvenir shops. The way they work it, most of these shops are up on the top of the mountain, and have an overlook, but you have to pass through the shop to get there. I assume a financial relationship exists between IMI and these shops, but it was a waste of time and money

Amazing Sunset cruise sailing the Caribbean. Jolene and The crew was amazing!! Would do it again in a second!! Do yourself a favor!!

Castaway Girl 4. Excellent cruise on a fantastic catamaran boat. Seen plenty of turtles to swim with. Lots of fish variety. Safety was a number one concern for their guests. Afterwards rum punch and snacks. Many had multiple refills all included in package. It was greatly enjoyed, thank you.

Hassel Island lies in Charlotte Amalie Harbor and is a short boat ride from Frenchtown. This historic, 135 acre property is currently maintained by the St. Thomas Historical Trust and the National Park Service. Knowledgeable guides will take you on the 3.5 miles of well-maintained trails to explore the Danish and British colonial past. You will explore Danish Prince Frederiks' Battery, The British Officer's Quarters and Enlisted Barracks, Garrison House, Cowell's and Shipley's Batteries, all examples of the military importance of the Island. Creque's Marine Railway, Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, Hamburg- American Line shipping Facilities and other maritime ruins, as well as a visit to the Leprosarium will give you a glimpse into St. Thomas life in the late 1700's. Hear about the Island's connection to the American Revolution, the tales of the Coaling Ladies, Sea Captains and Privateers, WWI espionage along with other stories of island life. Hiking trails are a moderate 3 on a scale of 5. Good hiking shoes are a must, bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Reservations required 48 hours in advance if possible. St. Thomas has two cruise ports - - The West India Company Dock (almost universally referred to as Havensight) and Crown Bay. Both are located on the south side of the island not far from Charlotte Amalie. Generally, the ships of Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, and Royal Caribbean (except Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas) dock at Havensight. Cunard, Princess, Holland America and Oasis and Allure typically dock at Crown Bay. This can change depending on the number of ships in port. Deeper draft ships such as Queen Mary 2, Oasis and Allure are required to dock at Crown Bay.

has anybody done this tour? it includes mountain top, magens bay for 2 hours then 2 hours of shopping. i was wondering if it was worth it. and also if we didn't want to do the 2 hrs of shopping will they bring us back to the ship?
