Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park 9/21/22 Amory was wonderful!! He was so knowledgeable on the whole tour. He had learned a lot from his grandma. He was so creative when it came to taking pictures. He never rushed us at any of the sites. We had hoped to take our minivan on a self-guided tour, but we weren't allowed to enter. We were sad. By luck!!!....we decided to pay for an open aired truck. It rained off and on, but we did not care due to Amory! He led such a wonderful tour! 2 couples from Ohio
Amory from Twin Warriors Tours was great!
In my opinion this is the best way to not only see but experience what Monument Valley is all about. We got to see the amazing monuments and landscape while experiencing local Navajo culture. Julius at Twin Warriors Tours was awesome and took us to see the best sights as well as carefully explaining the history and importance of each sight. We saw all the major monuments, rock formations, ancient cave dwellings, and even petroglyphs. The best part was camping overnight in a real Navajo Hogan right in between the iconic east and west Mittens!

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Awe inspired wonder of the world, tsé bii' ndzisgaii "valley of the rocks".
Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park (Tsé Biiʼ Ndzisgaii, meaning Valley of the Rocks), is one of the centerpieces of beauty on Navajoland and is one of the world’s most recognized landscapes.
Beautiful red sandstones push skyward (400 to 1,000 feet) from the vast expanse of desert floor, creating a striking set of formations that stand together against an umbrella of blue skies. This enchanting earthscape is so inspiring and magnificent that it is one of the most photographed sites in America – and has become synonymous with our vision of the great southwest.

- In 1849, the first United States militia to explore the area were disgusted by the scenery. The valley was “as desolate and repulsive-looking a country as can be imagined,” Capt. John G. Walker wrote in Executive Documents printed by order of the United States Senate.
- In the 1930s, John Ford started filming Westernized movies here, launching the landscape into international fame.
- The size of the park is 91,696 acres in Utah/Arizona and is at an elevation of 5,564 feet above sea level.
- There is a 17-mile loop road that takes tourists around the park. Additionally, the park has two trails for hiking and 11 lookout points.

Nat was a great tour guide. He took us to the upper canyon and from the minute we boarded the bus, he made a point to let us know he's only plan was to give us a great tour. He took lots of pictures for us, explained everything, and was overall more than I would have ever expected.
It was a fantastic tour. Lydell was tremendous. Helpful, knowledgeable, interactive. And a great photographer!! Not only would we recommend this tour, we would go back!
Absolutely worth the experience and with brilliant and supportive tour guides. Our guides were not only enthusiastic with information but also in advice and assistance with clients taking the best photos. The canyons were breathtaking and the drive was incredibly fun with the company vehicles.
We had a amazing tour guide, Nate. He offered a lot of information and was able to answer all my questions. He helped with setting up my phone so I had professional pictues. This tour guide is well worth the money and highly recommend going. A once in a lifetime.
