Thera Agro Resorts is situated in the outskirts of Karjat, in a small and beautiful village, Karalewadi. It is actually located near the Karjat-Matheran road which falls in the district of Raigarh. The 11-room with living hall farmhouse is surrounded by the attractive and panoramic natural scenes like rolling and green farmyard, picturesque mountains and TATA Power Road.The resort at Karjat is placed within a 24,000 sq ft area, in which 10,000 sq ft is occupied with one-storey cottages and villas accompanied.

Just in front of the entrance of farmhouse there is a crystal clear swimming pool with filtration set-up and a 3,500 sq ft lawn area for outdoor games and activities, such as cricket, badminton, etc. The swimming pool is surrounded by small grasslands and benches, where you can rest your body and enjoy the nature’s beauty with calm and soothing music. At the same time, you can solace your eyes with great views of green paddy fields around and beautiful sunsets.

In the times we live in, it is vital that future generations understand the importance of environmental preservation and the means to protect it. Saguna Baug has been a shrine to the wonder of nature for over fifty years!It is our youth that will carry forward the torch of protection of the environment.

We educate the children according to their syllabus from 1-10. Students can learn the benefits of rainwater harvesting techniques, agriculture, gobar gas, medicinal plants in a safe and well-supervised environment and enjoy nutritious farm to table.

College students can enjoy time away from their busy schedules while still learning a great deal about alternative energy sources such as gobar gas during their visit to the farm. Microbiology and Botany students can gain in-depth information about animals, plants, and micro-organisms. Take part in group activities such as treasure hunting and team-building games.

Activity Location: Karjat. Check-in Time:  9 AM Check-Out Time:  5 PM This resort is an eco-friendly agricultural farm located at the foothills of Matheran. The farm is surrounded by perennial Ulhas River. Guests and students get to experience farm life and learn about our innovative farming methods that have provided rural employment and opportunities for the youth of our villages.  This 55 Acre farm with various agricultural activities such as agroforestry, dairy, aquaculture, agro-tourism, horticulture, Swimming, fishing, etc makes it one of the peaceful locations to have a day off for yourself after a hectic week. This place also has a restless river, which is untouched by industrial pollution and flows 12 months with nice and clean water.  Package offers: This package includes numerous activities to attach you with nature such as farm tours, dragnet fishing, dairy farm tour, Emu farm, rod fishing, etc. Along with the activities, you will be offered breakfast, lunch as well as snacks, and Hi-tea in the evening.  Child Policy: Children below 5 years of age are free to come but children above 5 years of age have to take an adult ticket.  Nearby Places to Visit: Matheran Waterfall: 9.2 Km Bhimshankar walls view: 26.8 Km Gadeshwar Lake: 58 Km Suitable for: Family, Friends, and corporates.  How to reach:   This place is about 80 km away from Mumbai and about 117 km away from Pune.
