T he Galveston Duck Tour is a unique way to see Galveston Island. On the Duck, you’ll travel 40 blocks on Seawall Boulevard – overlooking the Gulf of Mexico – to Offats Bayou, where you’ll then enter the water for a cruise across the bayou!
The Duck exits the water at Heards Lane, and then will take you past several historic mansions, through the Strand Historic District, and the Silk Stocking District, as it proceeds back to Seawall Boulevard.
During the entire Duck Tour, you will enjoy a humorous-yet-informative tour given by an experienced captain.

Galveston Duck Tours offers a unique way of seeing the island. Tours start at 25th street and Seawall Blvd. next to Pleasure Pier. Your Captain will present you with Galveston Island facts and show off attractions. "The Duck" proceeds to enter the water at Offats Bayou, which is located at 61st and Heards Lane. The protected waters of the bayou are ideal for boating and observing wildlife that thrives on and around our barrier island.
Following the water portion of the tour, the Duck returns back onto the streets and returns to the historic East end of the city. Along the way, your Captain will point out various mansions and century-old buildings. Before returning to the point of departure, your tour guide and captain will have given you a general overview of the many attractions and history of Galveston.
