Emmy & Grammy nominated Hollywood star, Kevin Hart has made a name for himself as one of the foremost comedians, entertainers, authors and businessmen in the industry today.  After an electrifying performance at amateur night in a Philadelphia comedy club, Kevin quit his shoe salesman job and began performing full time at venues such as The Boston Comedy Club, Caroline’s, Stand-Up NY, The Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. However, it was his first appearance at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival that led Kevin into roles in feature films. 

Kevin Hart will bring his stand-up comedy tour Reality Check to the Wright State University Nutter Center on Tuesday, May 16.

Kevin Hart’s Reality Check comedy tour comes to Dayton with newly added dates

DAYTON — An A-List comedian and movie star will be coming to Miami Valley as part of his international world tour Tuesday, May 16.

Kevin Hart will be bringing his comedic styling to Dayton at the Nutter Center near the end of spring with the Reality Check tour.

Hart’s Reality Check tour was ranked the highest-grossing comedy tour of 2022 on Billboard and Pollstar. The comedian performed 80 shows during last year’s run, hitting major cities such as Las Vegas, Houston, Atlanta, and Toronto. Following the success, he added more dates to the tour.

The show garnered some positive feedback, winning the People’s Choice Award for Comedy Act of 2022 for his performance and content in the stand-up act.

Prospective attendees can begin purchasing pre-sale tickets for the newly added date Wednesday, April 12 at 10 a.m. until Thursday, April 13 at 11:59 p.m., a spokesperson for the actor confirmed. General sale of tickets will begin on Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m. on KevinHartNation.com .

Kevin Hart’s “Reality Check” Tour comes to Nutter Center

Comedian and actor Kevin Hart first came to Dayton in the 90’s, playing Jokers Comedy Cafe.  Since then he’s blown up, releasing his first stand-up album Kevin Hart: I’m a Grown Little Man   in 2009.

In 2015, Time magazine named him on its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. In 2017, he launched the Laugh Out Loud Network, a subscription video streaming service in partnership with Lionsgate. In 2018 he played the Nutter Center on is Irresponsible Tour and it’s just been announced he will be making a stop in the Miami Valley as part of his 2023 Reality Check tour.

Hart will be performing at the Nutter Center on Tuesday, May 16 and presale tickets will be available beginning on Wednesday, April 12 at 10 am. General ticket sales will begin on Friday, April 14 at 10 am. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster .

Hart's Reality Check tour, which was awarded the People’s Choice Award for Comedy Act of 2022, will be coming to the Dayton Nutter Center on Tuesday, May 16.

Tickets will become available for presale on Wednesday, April 12 at 10 a.m. until Thursday, April 13 at 11:59 p.m.

The general on sale will begin on Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m.

On May 5, Kevin Hart will host the ‘Roast of Tom Brady’ at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum as part of the Netflix is a Joke Festival.

However, that’s far from the only gig the 2024 Mark Twain Prize For American Humor winner has lined up this year.

From April all the way up until December, the prolific 44-year-old comic will perform at venues all over North America as part of his ‘Acting My Age Tour.’

That includes a pair of shows at Westbury, NY’s Westbury Music Fair on June 29 as well as one-offs at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on June 30 and Poughkeepsie, NY’s MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center on July 20.

“This one is going to hit different,” Hart shared on Instagram , while describing the tour. “We’re on a different level, a different mindset.”

If you want to see what the “Ride Along” star has up his sleeve for his ‘Acting My Age Tour,’ tickets are available for all shows.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find was $16 before fees on Vivid Seats.

To be fair, that low dollar amount is a bit of an outlier (hint, hint- it’s for the Tom Brady Roast); other Kevin Hart shows have tickets starting anywhere from $55 to $389 before fees.

Upcoming Kevin Hart projects

Kevin Hart can’t stop working.

On top of his upcoming tour dates, he also has eight (!) movies and TV shows set for release in the near future.

Here’s what we know about each of the future flicks.

“Planes, Trains & Automobiles”  might sound familiar. In this reimagining of the 1987 classic, Hart co-stars with Will Smith as “a pair of unlikely travel companions trying to make their destinations in time for the Holiday weekend.”

“My Own Worst Enemy”  tells the story of an agent sent on a dangerous assignment and then receives an assist from an unlikely informant. Tim Story has been tapped to direct.

“The Great Outdoors”  will see Hart star in a remake of the 1988 John Candy-Dan Aykroyd comedy where a family on vacation repeatedly gets interrupted by their irritating in-laws. Teena Lewis and Tristan Cantave are set to co-star.

“Ride Along 3”  is an extension of the popular Hart-Ice Cube franchise featuring Hart as a well-meaning high school teacher who applies to the police academy to impress the girl of his dreams (Tika Sumpter). There, he meets her tough brother (Ice Cube), who, you guessed it, takes him on a ride along to set him straight. According to  Looper , director Tim Story wants to take the ongoing series to another country in a future installment.

“Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist”  has just Hart attached now; the series will tell the story of the infamous armed robbery after Muhammad Ali’s historical comeback fight in 1970.

“Borderlands,”  based on the popular video game, takes place on the desolate, fictional planet Pandora. In this abandoned world, adventurers seek out an elusive artifact. The stacked cast features Cate Blanchett, Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis, Gina Gershon and Bobby Lee.

“Uptown Saturday Night”  centers around a pair of pals’ night out where they chill at an illegal club, come upon a lost wallet, and find a winning lottery ticket. Based on the 1974 classic featuring Sidney Poitier, Flip Wilson, Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby, and Harry Belafonte. Rick Famuyiwa (“Dope,” “The Chi”) will direct from a script by Kenya Barris (“Blackish,” “Coming 2 America”).

“Monopoly,”  currently in development, finds a boy from the board game’s Baltic Avenue on a journey to make some cold, hard Monopoly cash. Tim Story will direct Hart again in a script by noted sci-fi screenwriter Andrew Niccol (“Truman Show,” “Gattaca”). Here’s hoping the movie, which has yet to enter pre-production, “gets out of jail free.”

“Die Hart 2: Die Harter” signals a return to Hart’s Amazon Prime series where he “plans an innovative action film with unscripted, unexpected scenes to cement his legacy as the greatest,” IMDb reports. Of course, high-stakes hijinks ensue. Nathalie Emmanuel, Ben Schwartz, Paula Pell and John Cena co-star.

Kevin Hart is coming to town this weekend — and one pretty important thing to know if you’re going

Actor, comedian and best-selling author  Kevin Hart will be in town this weekend for his  The Irresponsible Tour at Wright State University's Nutter Center on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018.

Tickets are still available at the Wright State University Nutter Center box office, ticketmaster.com, or by calling (800) 745-3000. A quick search on Ticketmaster this morning showed some good seats still available for $115 a pop plus fees.

HART’S RECENT PROJECTS

Hart’s memoir “I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons” debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times Bestseller list and has remained on the list for nine consecutive weeks. Earlier in the year, Hart voiced a title character in “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie.”

He will appear in the Sony reboot of the classic film “Jumanji” alongside Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black. In March of 2018, Kevin will star alongside Bryan Cranston and Nicole Kidman in his first dramatic role in the “Untouchables” for The Weinstein Co. Hart will soon begin shooting the Feature Comedy Night School for Universal, a film in which he co-wrote under the Hartbeat production banner and will also star in.

Hart’s recent movie projects include the animated film “The Secret Life of Pets” (Illumination Entertainment) and the biggest grossing live action comedy “Central Intelligence” (New Line Cinema and Universal Pictures), Universal’s “Ride Along 2,” which grossed over $100 million worldwide, Screen Gems’ “The Wedding Ringer” and Warner Brothers’ “Get Hard.”

Hart is also a force in television, executive producing the show, “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” which is currently in Season 5. In addition, Comedy Central will launch two standup comedy series’ “Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City” and “Untitled Kevin Hart Stand-Up Series.”

Comedian and actor KEVIN HART announced the addition of a new date in Dayton, OH on his 2023 Reality Check Tour. Emmy & Grammy nominated Hollywood star, Kevin Hart will bring his stand-up comedy tour Reality Check to the Wright State University Nutter Center on Tuesday, May 16.

Tickets will be available starting with various  presales beginning on Wednesday, April 12 at 10 AM  until Thursday, April 13 at 11:59 PM. The general on sale will begin on  Friday, April 14 at 10 AM.

Comedian Kevin Hart is coming to Cleveland’s Playhouse Square this fall and fans of Hart can now purchase tickets to the show online.

Hart will perform at the venue on Nov. 15 as part of his “Acting My Age Tour.” Vivid Seats , StubHub , SeatGeek , TicketCity and Viagogo plenty of seats available to buy.

Here are the cheapest single tickets I could find as of April 17:

Kevin Hart Brings ACTING MY AGE Tour To Mohegan Sun Arena In July 19

Tickets will be available starting with presales on Wednesday, April 17th. The general on sale will begin Friday, April 19th at 10:00am.

 Today, Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedian and Mark Twain award recipient Kevin Hart announced his new 2024 Acting My Age stand-up comedy tour is coming to the Mohegan Sun Arena stage on Friday, July 19th at 8:00pm.

Tickets will be available starting with presales on Wednesday, April 17th. The general on sale will begin Friday, April 19th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com . Subject to availability, fans of Hart can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, April 20th.

Emmy & Grammy nominated Kevin Hart was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he launched his career as a comedian during an amateur night at a local comedy club. Upon arrival at Mohegan Sun Arena, all phones, smart watches, and electronic accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the Arena. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space. 

Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.

Kevin Hart to complete his 2024 "Acting My Age" tour with a homecoming stop in Philadelphia this December

P HILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Kevin Hart  will complete his 2024 "Acting My Age" stand-up comedy tour in his hometown Philadelphia with a homecoming stop on Dec. 4 at The Met Philadelphia.

The tour kicks off in June in Westbury, New York, and includes more than 20 shows across the U.S.

Tickets  for the show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., but there will be a presale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. For selected dates, a limited number of VIP tickets will be available, according to the release.

The release says the event is a phone-free experience, meaning phones are not allowed in the event. Phones will be put in Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the show, according to the announcement. Guests will have access to their phones and can use them throughout the event at the designated Phone Use areas at The Met Philadelphia, but phones will be resecured in the Yondr pouches before going back into the event.

Security will escort guests out of the venue if they are seen using their phones or other devices during the show.

The superstar comedian and actor will bring his new “Acting My Age” comedy show to the MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center (formerly Mid-Hudson Civic Center) in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on Saturday, July 20. The event begins at 7:45 p.m.
