For an individual inviting a friend to his own country is not always an easy task. He has to provide a letter of invitation to his friend. Then this letter should be presented to his friendâs countryâs embassy or Consulate for review. So the invitation letter should be written in such a way as though the individual is speaking to or addressing his friendâs countryâs embassy or Consulate visa administrator who will review his friendâs application.
Use the following samples, email templates, and tips to write an invitation letter to a friend to visit your country on vacations.

From : Janet Hill To : Sunny Chen Subject : Hi!
How are you?
We're finally coming to Singapore so I wanted to ask your advice on what we should do while we're there. What shouldn't we miss? We'll have our two kids aged 6 and 8 with us so ideally we want to do things we can enjoy as a family.
We've already got a hotel booked in Marina Bay and we arrive on 12 May for a week.
I hope you're around so we can meet up!
See you soon,
From : Sunny Chen To : Janet Hill Subject : Re: Hi!
Lovely to hear from you and how exciting that you're coming!
You've picked a great area to stay in as it's right next to a must-see attraction, Gardens by the Bay. They light them up at night and the kids will love it. Another place to take the little ones is the zoo, and the Night Safari is really worth doing. The animals are much more active at night than during the day, so it's pretty special.
As for food, there's quite a variety here. I'd recommend trying laksa and kaya toast â they're both really typical Singaporean foods. You can also eat well and cheaply at street markets. You should definitely check them out.
Can't wait to see you all!
P.S. My number here is +65 1234 1234.
- Start informal emails with Hi + name instead of Dear + name .
- An informal email can be like a conversation, so you can start with How are you?
- If you're replying, you can start with Lovely to hear from you.
- Use these phrases to make recommendations: ... is worth doing / seeing / going to . ... is a must-see (attraction) . I'd recommend ... You can ... You should ...
- Say why you recommend those things.
- You can add something at the end using P.S.
What would you recommend for tourists near where you live?

Hi David! I am so happy to hear that you will come and visit my country. As you know, in Japan there are a lot of things to do. So, I will make a list to visit for your precious holiday. About the culture, there is one thing you need to remember is to stay away from Japanese girls. I know most of them will be your type. But an aggressive approach doesn't work here. So be careful and wait for me at the airport.
Can't wait to meet you again, guys.
P.S. Give me the info about your flight schedule!
What would you recommend for tourists near where you live? Hi guys How are you getting along with your job? Is everything OK? I highly recommend you to go to the bird's garden. It's really worth going. There are many kinds of birds that are free throughout the garden like peacocks, nightingales, swans, and so on which maybe you don't know their name! The garden has a large space with a long walking path so that you can go hiking for several hours in it. It has an artificial lake, river and a lot of old and big trees. Also, there are some coffee shops and you can enjoy having a coffee outdoors. In fact, you can enjoy nature for several hours without noticing the passge of time.

In My city we have a lot of great places. first of all, the red sea is one of the famous places to visit, historical city is a worth seeing especially if the weather is nice and a little bit cold. In historical city you can discover the old city and the how they live in the past everyone will interested. for the food we have so many restaurants and coffee shops everywhere, but I suggest trying local food from the food truck. Hope you enjoy there.
Hello from the country of chocolate đ«, chips đ, waffles đ§, honey đŻ, beer đș (I donât like but maybe you do đ€«).
I am Anissa and If you didnât discover it, I am Belgian đ§đȘ Currently I am living in Brussels, but actually I am from the south part of Belgium. I am born in a small town near the border of France đ«đ·.
First of all, you should come to my country because the capital (Brussels) is also the one of Europe đȘđș. Iâd recommend to visit the Atomium. Itâs a must see attraction with an important heritage value. Itâs definitely worth going to. Secondly, as Itâs a little country it will be easy for you to travel around without doing a 5 hours trip to go to one city of my country to another. (By the way, itâs quite fast to visit some parts of Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and Germany as these countries are encircled my little country.) There is several cute places worth seeing apart from Brussels like Bruges, Gand, Anvers, Dinant, and so on. Also, you have famous beach like Ostende, Blankenberge or, for more luxury, La Panne. Besides of that, I think you will feel welcome as we tend to be very happy to see people coming to visit our country for a while.
If you need others recommandations or informations, feel free to ask.
I really hope you will have a great time and enjoy my lovely country!
See you soon!
I'm live in the Philippines since birth for about 27 years. I remember I only had a chance to visit EL Nido in Palawan for work purposes. Walking beside the sea was so relaxing. I saw a lot of tourist. Most of the restaurant are open starting 6pm, foods are so delicious. Watching the see at night was so good. I felt that my mind was refreshed. You can only live once, so it better for you to enjoy your life, like travel, eat delicious food, spend time with your loved ones.
Hello Everyone
I'd like to introduce you to my hometown, It's a magnificent tropical island in the Pacific Ocean. Weather here during the day is extremely hot but we do experience lots of rain. If you're planning to have your summer holidays here then you've made the right choice as we have so many magnificent white sand beaches, breath taking scenery. Mouth watering local food is must try, I'd recommend lechon which is a popular festive dish, It's basically a roasted sucking pig glistening with oil and fats, If you don't mind the extra calories then you should give it a try and you'll probably love to indulge yourself with varieties of tropical fruits, Mango is a must try here as well as our fresh coconut juice which is perfect refreshment in a hot sunny day. Scuba diving and water skiing is worth doing. You can definitely do tons of fun things while you're here.

I would like to know the proper way to invite a friend on a trip?
I want to take my friend to Heroes Park. Please tell me how to write a proper invitation.
Writing a proper invitation letter to your friend to invite him on a trip is very similar to writing any kind of invitation. You'll want to make sure that you include the length of the trip, when you'll be leaving, what things he will need to bring -- like clothing, gear, and food -- and any exciting activities you have lined up. Keeping those things in mind, you can outline the trip invitation you are writing to your friend like this:
Dear [friend's name],
How are you doing? I am doing super well. So well in fact, that I've decided to plan a trip to Heroes Park -- and I want you to come along!
If you decide to come, we'll be leaving on [date] at [time]. We will be gone for [length of the trip], which means we'll be coming back home on the [date].
I've got some really fun activities planned, like [list some activities here]. You should probably bring [types of clothes, gear, and/or food that your friend should bring] just in case.
I really hope you decide to come. Heroes Park is such a fun place to relax and have a great time with friends.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Your friend,
[Your name]

How to set a post on Facebook if I am going to visit a country and somebody interested will inform me?
Visiting India, going in December
Look for Facebook groups that have an interest in India. You can then join the group and post that you are looking for information on India in December and if they have any tips from their experience during December in the past.
I want a 750-word composition?
Please can you help me, I want a composition in imagine inviting a stranger to your country
Research your country quickly to outline what the stranger could do if they visit your country. Create the composition like a tourist brochure. Have a section for travel within your country. Regional dishes represented in certain restaurants. Lodging and vacation rental options are also another good options to include. Before you realize it, you will have at least 750 works as you explain the details of each section. Look at the online brochure of World Travel Guide . Their introduction of India makes you want to hop on a plane immediately to explore the country. You can easily create your composition to entice the reader to want to travel to your country.
I would like to invite people I know to see my travelling agency profile?
I have started travelling agency ,so would like to invite known people to have a look at my traveller site.

In this guide on how to write invitation emails, we break down the writing process into simple steps.
Then, we provide 8 invitation email examples for information and inspiration. By the end, youâll understand the building blocks to write the best invitation emails.
How to write an invitation email
Email marketers, event organizers, and interviewers all know that invitation emails are hard to write.
Get it right, and youâll have a room full of happy faces. Get it wrong, and you could find yourself all alone.
Weâve written a lot about formal writing at Flowrite, but invitation emails are a chance to get creative and write compelling messages that demand a reply. Itâs the best way to secure a slot in the calendar.
So, ready to get started?
What are invitation emails (and why do they matter?)
Invitation emails are, as youâd expect, used to encourage someone to do something. It could be an invite to an interview, an event, a meeting, a webinar, or a sales presentation.
In each case, the purpose of the message is to inspire action â generating attendees for your event, candidates for your interview, or meat in your meeting.
These arenât sales emails (weâve written about those before) but messages to someone you know (or who will know you). As such, you donât have to go too hard on the sales and push the promo, but be clear about what youâre inviting the person to and why.Â
The bottom line is to ensure every message has value to the person receiving it.Â
Before we illustrate this with examples, letâs email the ideal invitation email format.Â
Invitation email format
Invite emails are easy to write (if you follow this format). First, a strong, simple subject line spells out what you want.
Thatâs followed by a body copy that offers value and contains all the details people need (such as date, time, and location). Finally, you finish with more information on how people can sign-up and a positive sign-off.Â
Letâs show you how that worksâŠÂ
1. Invitation email subject line
Your subject line should get straight to the point. Youâll want to grab the readerâs attention and explain to them what the message is about (and why they should care). In the case of interviews or meetings with colleagues, the process is pretty straightforward:
- Interview Invitation â 25 Jan @ 9:00 amÂ
- Meeting Request â 2023 Strategy & Planning â 25 Jan @ 9:00 amÂ
Simple, clear, and straight to the point! That works for this type of invitation, where people will know who you are and what youâre asking. It gets a little more complicated when writing emails to people you donât know (what marketers call cold emails ).
Crafting cold emails is a big challenge, with millions of words written about how to optimize them. But it boils down to finding words that grab someoneâs attention and gets them to click.
Here are a couple of examples:
- Do you want priority access to our latest event? Open your invitation here!
- Weâre looking for a legend. Could you be our latest guest speaker?
- Want to play a part in our industry-leading podcast?
These examples (and millions more you can find online) attempt to hook you in with a tasty proposition.
2. Invitation email body
All email invitation body copy works similarly, with the same structure. It goes a little something like this:
- Intro to you/your business
- Explanation of why youâre emailing
- Details of the invite
- Dates, times, and attendance info
Following this format will ensure you have all the essential details in your invitation email. You donât need to be boring; you can get creative if you want â but always include everything from the list above.
You can see how we do this below in the 8 invitation email samples.
3. How to end an invitation email
Youâre inviting someone to something, right? So youâll want them to confirm their attendance. So spell it out in a clear CTA. Something like this can work well:
- Please confirm that you can attend. You can email me at (insert address) or call me at (insert number).Â
If youâre inviting someone for an interview, this will be enough. However, for an event, you may want to add an incentive or put a time limit on it.
- Sign-up today, and youâll receive a 25% discount!
- Places are strictly limited, so sign-up today (or prepare to be disappointed).
Youâll also need to include contact details or links to an online form where people can sign-up for the event. Donât forget to add your name, job title, and company information.
7 invitation email examples
OK, weâve come to the part where we stop telling and start showing!
Here are 8 invitation email examples that cover some of the situations you might need to write one. Weâve got a simple invitation example, an interview email, and an invitation to an online video call, among others.
If you want to use these examples, you can cut and paste them, but always change them to suit your circumstances.Â
1. Simple invitation email sample
Letâs start with a simple invitation sample. This covers the basics and is a standard and (if weâre honest) quite dry approach.
Of course, if you want, you can liven this up â but even if you use it as-is, it will get the job done.
2. Reply to the interview invitation email sample
In this reply to the interview invitation sample, we provide a ready-made template to agree to the interview time and date. Good luck!
3. Event invitation email sample
When writing an event invitation email, youâll need to be more creative and create a compelling case for someone to attend. You should explain what your event is about and its relevance.
You should provide details of why the person should attend and, as outlined earlier, offer an incentive or introduce some peril.Â
4. Meeting invitation email sample
If youâre employed anywhere, youâll probably spend most of your life in and out of meetings (and probably get hundreds of meeting requests a year).
This meeting email invite is more than a simple placeholder; it provides information on the meeting and why someone would want to attend. Your recipients will thank you for this level of detail.
5. Zoom invitation email sample
This Zoom meeting invite is similar to the meeting request above but includes login information and tips to get the best out of a Zoom meeting.
How many Zoom meetings have you been to that donât start on time because someoneâs camera isnât working or the sound isnât on? Exactly. Tell people about the behaviors you want to see (and be sure to embody them!).
- Bullet points are great!
6. Webinar invitation email sample
Webinars are an effective way to showcase your products or services, share insights, and build an audience.
Like the event template above, you must provide reasons for someone to give up their time and attend â which we do here.
Youâll need to try and find what will motivate your audience to engage with you.
7. Guest speaker invitation email sample
Guest speakers are a great addition to your event, but how do you hook one in?
By using our guest email invite template! Anyone brave enough to stand up in front of a crowd will have an ego, so providing a few compliments alongside the context of your event is a good thing.
Set out what you want them to do and when you want an answer.
Proven invitation email template
OK, so we canât guarantee this initiation template will work, but it follows all our rules and recommendations, so itâs about as close as you can. So fill in the gaps, and focus on providing the details, and youâll get the results you want from every message.

Write your informal email/letter of reply to your friend (around 140-190 words).
Makeover: Aysen
Read Aysen's answer to this question below. Try correcting the piece of writing yourself first: use the marking codes to think about what might be wrong (or what's good) about the piece of work. Then when you're ready, click the green buttons in the text for our feedback.
Content A good attempt. You have answered the question appropriately, explained how to get to your apartment, mentioned the weather and suggested what clothing to bring. A full answer. Communicative Achievement You have written the email in a friendly tone using a question and exclamations ('OK?', 'remember that!') to engage the reader. You could consider using contractions such as 'I'm' instead of 'I am', or 'I'll' instead of 'I will' as this helps to create a more informal style. The reader would be fully informed. Organisation The article is clearly organised with clear paragraphs. Good use of discourse markers such as 'it' and 'there' to refer to earlier nouns and one or two well-chosen linking words. Note my alternatives regarding your use of 'about' to introduce another point. Language In general a well-written email which is clear and easy to follow. Note my suggestions for some alternative words and expressions for you to consider. Well done!

- How to write a B2 First informal email/letter
- Posted on 07/04/2021

- Tags: B2 First , Cambridge Exams , FCE , First Certificate , Resources to learn English , Writing
You’re probably very familiar with sending emails (and sometimes letters) in your first language. But how about in English? Writing in another language is not always so simple. If you want to pass your B2 First Certificate exam (FCE), this is an essential skill to have.
In the B2 First exam you must produce two pieces of writing in 1 hour and twenty minutes. One of the pieces will be an essay (part 1). And the other, students get to choose from a list of three options (part 2). These could be a report , a review , an article , or perhaps an email/letter.
Today weâre going to look at how to write an informal email/letter. Cambridge may also offer you a formal email/letter. But weâll save that for another time!
Three steps to write an excellent informal email/letter
First thingâs first. Whatâs the difference between writing an email and writing a letter? Although there are some slight differences, essentially the tone, structure and language stay the same.
These days, an informal email question is much more likely to crop up in the B2 First exam than a letter. So letâs see what that question might look like:
You have received this email from your English-speaking friend David.
Write your email . (You should write between 140 and 190 words)
Question taken from Cambridge Assessment English sample paper 1 for B2 First
Step One: Make a plan
Once youâve turned over the B2 First Writing paper, and read the email question, ask yourself these questions first. Addressing them will help you spark some initial ideas.
- Who are you writing to? Is it a friend, a family member or a classmate?
- What is the purpose? Maybe theyâre asking for suggestions, advice or a favour
- What is the topic or theme? A holiday, party, cinema trip or city recommendation?
Next, itâs important to consider the content of your informal email/letter. Make sure you spend the first fifteen minutes of your time thinking about these things and make some notes:
The tone depends on who youâre writing to and the purpose. In this case of David, we know heâs an English-speaking friend. So you want to keep the tone relaxed, chatty and informal.
Brainstorm some good, B2 level, topic-based vocabulary related to holidays, your town, history and travel, e.g. cable car, football stadium, monuments, sightseeing, views .
Think about any engaging, descriptive adjectives that could make your informal email or letter more interesting, e.g. unmissable, bustling, the oldest, the best, the most spectacular, the fastest, the cheapest .
Phrasal verbs e.g. get away, set off, get back and colloquial expressions e.g. Guess what! will also help your B2 First informal email or letter sound natural and fluent. And if you can use some idioms, then youâve really hit the jackpot!
Good grammar is key when doing your B2 First writing exam. And there are a few grammar tricks to writing an informal email in English. Contractions are common for example. Weâre much more likely to say Iâm than I am or Weâd than we would .
You could also try using the second conditional to give advice such as If I were you ⊠This is sure to score you top marks in your Writing paper.
Punctuation
In a B2 First informal email/letter you can also be a bit more experimental with punctuation. Try using exclamation marks, dashes (-) or ellipsis (…). If youâre making a list for friends, why not use bullet points?
The best thing about writing informal emails and letters is that the layout more or less stays the same every time. Your work should be clearly organised into paragraphs. And emails in particular work well with short simple sentences. An ideal structure for any email or letter is Opening, Main body and Closing , which weâll look at in more detail now.
Step Two: Write it
Now youâve made your plan, you should be ready and raring to go! Hereâs how to put it all together and write the perfect B2 First informal email/letter.
There are a few different ways to start an informal email/letter in English:
- Hello David,
- Dear David,
Hi is much more common in an informal email. Whereas Dear is more appropriate in an informal letter. After youâve written the personâs name, always remember to write a comma then start a new line.
Introductory sentence
The opening is normally followed by an introductory sentence. This sets the tone of the email, shows your interest in the reader or refers back to a previous correspondence.
- How have you been?
- How are things?
- Thanks so much for your last email/letter.
- Sorry I havenât been in touch for such a long time.
This is where you introduce the topic of your B2 First email/letter. Remember to look back at the question and answer any questions from the sender. In the case of David, heâs writing to ask for recommendations for his friends. So you want to include lots of language for making suggestions. Here are some phrases you could use:
- Itâs great to hear thatâŠ
- You must tell them to visitâŠ
- Why donât they visitâŠ?
- They should definitely go toâŠ
- Iâd really recommend (+ verb ing or subject + base infinitive)
Connecting ideas
To keep your informal email flowing and natural sounding, use some informal connectors to link your ideas. Here are some examples:
- Well,⊠(to introduce a new topic)
- Anyway,…(to go back to a previous topic)
- Oh, by the wayâŠ(to add additional information)
- As for…
Final paragraph
The closing paragraph of your B2 First informal email/letter should be one or two sentences before you sign off and say goodbye. It could be to make an excuse to finish the letter/email, or leave the reader with some kind of action they need to take.
- I hope they have a nice time on their trip!
- Let me know if they need any more information.
- I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
- Have a good one, and letâs catch up soon.
This is where you end your informal email/letter and write your name. Remember, never end with the word Bye . Instead use one of the informal and neutral phrases below. And donât forget to write your name underneath.
- See you soon!
- All the best,
- Lots of love,
Step Three: Check it
Always take five minutes to check your informal email/letter at the end. Ask yourself these questions:
- Have I answered all parts of the email question?
- Is the tone friendly and informal?
- Do I use enough topic based vocabulary?
- Is my spelling, grammar and punctuation correct?
- Does it look like a letter/email?
- Have I opened and signed off appropriately?

15 cheapest european countries to visit in 2024.
This article looks at the 15 cheapest European countries to visit in 2024. If you wish to skip our detailed analysis of Tourism in Europe and ways to budget your vacation, you may skip ahead to 5 Cheapest European Countries to Visit in 2024 .
Tourism in Europe
Europe is by far the most popular tourist destination among all continents. According to UNWTO , in 2023, 54% of the world's international tourist arrivals were in Europe, with the southern/Mediterranean region being the most visited destination. Europe is extremely appealing for tourists due to its friendly visa policies, a diverse range of destinations, and the fact that it is considered safer than other global destinations.
Like most of the world, tourism in Europe has still not managed to recover to pre-pandemic volumes. In 2023, Europe had 700 million tourist arrivals across the continent, which was 94% of the arrivals witnessed in 2019. This is despite the fact that many southern European and Mediterranean destinations have surpassed pre-COVID levels of tourism. The European Travel Commission reports that countries such as Serbia, Portugal, and Montenegro all hosted 10% more tourists in 2023 than they had in 2019. In comparison, 65% of destinations in Europe are still falling short of pre-pandemic volumes. The most sluggish recovery has been witnessed in the Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, each of which has failed to attain even 75% of pre-COVID tourist arrivals. This stark disparity in the recovery of tourism across the continent poses a challenge. Despite the enormous volume of tourists that fly over to Europe each year, many of its most exquisite locations continue to be dejected in favor of hotspots such as the beaches of Ibiza, the bustling streets of Paris, or the canals of Venice. Owing to such a rapid inflow of tourists into only a handful of destinations, the sustainability of tourism in Europe falls under threat. Recently, more and more vacationers are becoming critical of tourist hotspots, criticizing them for being âtourist trapsâ and are instead looking to venture towards less crowded destinations. Another factor that unsettles tourists is the rate of inflation witnessed in post-pandemic tourism. According to Allianz Research , the daily rate for a hotel room (global median) jumped to $212 in the first quarter of 2023, up from $156 in Q1 2022 and $129 in Q1 2021. Moreover, a recent survey by Travel Weekly showed that 87% of European travelers are taking measures to reduce costs in their vacations. This includes opting for cheaper accommodations, reducing the budget used on excursions, and switching towards more affordable destinations.
As more and more tourists become irked by the overcrowded and inflated vacation experiences in particular hotspots, it is possible that tourists in 2024 will set their sights on destinations offering budget-friendly vacations with similar itineraries. With websites such as Airbnb, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABNB ), Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG ), and Sun Life Financial, Inc. (NYSE: SLF ), tourists have the opportunity to map out their entire vacations at the most affordable prices, exploring new and exciting destinations in the process.
Budgeting your trip
Some would argue that the true beauty of Europe lies in destinations that have been spared from the tirade of excessive tourist inflows. In the past, there were either no avenues for the common tourist to arrange a vacation to such areas, or they would be considered as being unreliable, unsafe, and unfit for tourists. However, over the last decade, this perception has shifted as people have access to more and more avenues to plan trips to some of the most remote recesses of the world.
Websites like Booking, property of Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), and Budget Your Trip provide data for locations, resorts, and excursions. This enables previously unknown tourist spots all over Europe to market themselves without investing the same level of resources as world-renowned hoteling brands. Tourists can use Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG) and similar services to break down each leg of their trips into exact monetary terms, without being beguiled by the fame of prominent destinations.
Similarly, Airbnb, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABNB) is the world's largest platform for alternative accommodation. Alternative accommodation is a relatively new manner of lodging that involves living in rented apartments, hostels, or even a spare guestroom. In comparison to hotels, such accommodation is cheaper and can be found in rural travel destinations as well. In providing this service, Airbnb, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABNB) has diverted a large number of tourists away from saturated hot-spots towards less crowded communities.
If youâre looking to visit a cheap European country in 2024, you may also consider obtaining travel insurance such as the packages offered by Sun Life Financial, Inc. (NYSE: SLF). These cover medical treatment and hospitalization bills in the unfortunate circumstance that you or a family member fall ill. Obtaining insurance from companies such as Sun Life Financial, Inc. (NYSE: SLF) allows you to venture into the wild and vivaciously enjoy your vacation.
Methodology
To develop our list of 15 cheapest European countries to visit in 2024, we traversed through similarly recommended lists on the web to develop a shortlist of budget-friendly countries. For these countries, we used Google Flights to obtain data on the cheapest available flight from the US (using JFK as the reference point for departures). Moreover, we used Budgetyourtrip to obtain the average amount required to spend a week-long coupleâs vacation in each country. Accumulating these data points allowed us to calculate the total expected amount required on a trip to each country. Each country was ranked in ascending order with respect to this metric, and the top 15 countries were selected as the cheapest European countries to visit in 2024.

Create and add an email signature in Outlook
In Outlook, you can create one or more personalized signatures for your email messages. Your signature can include text, links, pictures, and images (such as your handwritten signature or a logo).
Note: If the steps under this New Outlook tab don't work, you may not be using new Outlook for Windows yet. Select Classic Outlook  and follow those steps instead.
Create and add an email signature
On the View tab, select  View Settings .Â
Select Accounts > Signatures .
Select  New signature , then give it a distinct name.
In the editing box below the new name, type your signature, then format it with the font, color, and styles to get the appearance you want.
Select Save when you're done.
With your new signature selected from the list above the editing box, go to Select default signatures and choose whether to apply the signature to new messages and to replies and forwards.
Select Save again.
Note:Â If you have a Microsoft account, and you use Outlook and Outlook on the web or Outlook on the web for business, you need to create a signature in both products.
Create your signature and choose when Outlook adds a signature to your messages
If you want to watch how it's done, you can go directly to  the video below .
Open a new email message.
Under Select signature to edit , choose New , and in the New Signature dialog box, type a name for the signature.
Under Edit signature , compose your signature. You can change fonts, font colors, and sizes, as well as text alignment. If you want to create a more robust signature with bullets, tables, or borders, use Word to create and format your signature text, then copy and paste it into the Edit signature box. You can also use a pre-designed template  to create your signature. Download the templates in Word, customize with your personal information, and then copy and paste into the Edit signature box.Â
You can add links and images to your email signature, change fonts and colors, and justify the text using the mini formatting bar under Edit signature .
You can also add social media icons and links in your signature or customize one of our pre-designed temlates. For more information, see Create a signature from a template .

You can select to have your signature automatically appear in reply and forward messages. In the Replies/forwards drop-down, select one of your signatures. Otherwise, accept the default option of (none).Â
Choose OK to save your new signature and return to your message. Outlook doesn't add your new signature to the message you opened in Step 1, even if you chose to apply the signature to all new messages. You'll have to add the signature manually to this one message. All future messages will have the signature added automatically. To add the signature manually, select Signature from the Message menu and then pick the signature you just created.
Add a logo or image to your signature
If you have a company logo or an image to add to your signature, use the following steps.

I've visited 93 countries, 57 of them with kids. These 5 underrated spots are great places to enjoy with your family.
- Karen Edwards has traveled to 93 countries, and 57 of them have been with her young children.
- Edwards said that her family has had more fun exploring underrated spots than the popular ones.
- Her favorites include Tanzania for its safari tours and Abu Dhabi for its vibrant festival scene.
This as-told-to essay is based on a conversation with Karen Edwards , who blogs about her family's travels around the world. The following has been edited for length and clarity.
Since 2000, I've visited 93 countries and 57 of them have been with my four children who are all under the age of 10.
I am a nurse by background, but I have been blogging about traveling with my husband and kids since 2014. I cover a lot of off-the-beaten-track destinations and write itineraries for places I've been to, explaining how they work for families with children.
Many popular family destinations tend to be overcrowded. They're usually the ones that get a lot of media exposure or are shown in viral videos on social media. In America, it'd be places like Disneyland in California or Disney World in Florida, while for Europeans, it might be some of the Spanish resort areas.
Although my family and I have visited these places, we have always come away disappointed. They often lack educational experiences, feeling like pointless affairs.
I think traveling to underrated spots makes trips feel more exclusive and you can learn more about the cultures of the countries you visit â it also keeps you away from tourist traps.
We went on a safari tour in Tanzania
Our family visited Tanzania in 2019 in collaboration with a tourism brand. We were there for 12 days.
Our flights to the country were kind of expensive; we paid about $9,000 for our then-family of four, including a stop in Zanzibar at the end of the trip for a few days. However, overall, the entire trip didn't end up costing us that much.
We had some really unique experiences in Tanzania. We went to Mto Wa Mbu village , which is beneath a banana plantation, and we went on a safari tour in its Lake Manyara National Park .
Interestingly, Tanzania is one of the few places in the world where lions are known to climb trees. I remember seeing them sit in tall trees; it was quite unusual, but my kids really enjoyed how close they were to the animals.
Throughout our trip, we actually felt like we were experiencing life in Tanzania. Our campsite was on a river's edge in the depths of nature. It was nice not to feel surrounded by tourists.
My kids fell in love with Abu Dhabi's culture
Many people mistakenly believe that Dubai is a country, but in reality, it's a city in the United Arab Emirates, with Abu Dhabi being its capital.
My family and I moved to Abu Dhabi in 2021 and lived there for 18 months. The city does have a lot of similarities to glitzy and glam Dubai , but you get a more down-to-earth experience.
There are amazing festivals in Abu Dhabi where they display their culture in different formats, whether that be through local food or crafts. It does feel authentic because it's usually mainly locals participating and organizing them.
The city is also 1.5 hours away from Al Ain, which sits at the foot of Jebel Hafeet , one of the tallest mountains in the region. Along the way up, you'll find many ancient artifacts, such as beehive huts, which have been there for thousands of years. At the top, you can watch incredible sunsets.

The city also has the Al Ain Oasis , which uses an ancient irrigation system. It has these beautiful paved pathways that look like cobbled streets.
My kids loved Abu Dhabi and are constantly asking me to go back â they really liked all the cultural celebrations.
We love Sri Lanka so much, we're building a villa there
In 2022, my family and I moved to Sri Lanka from Abu Dhabi. We thought we'd have more family time here, and it was going to be an affordable place to live.
We're building a family-friendly villa here that should be completed by August. The area where we are building has a lot of nice cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby.
Overall, Sri Lanka is an amazing country that has so many diverse experiences. There are tea plantations, mountains, and beaches. As for wildlife, their national parks have loads of elephants and leopards.
On one occasion, we went on a safari boat tour to an isolated national park where we watched elephants swim across a lake and onto a tiny island. It was amazing.
The beaches in Sri Lanka are pristine. They have beautiful scenery with swaying coconut palm trees, clear water, and perfect waves. Our favorite is Kabalana Beach .
Because we're always on the beach, my children have learned how to surf. I think it's the most fun thing that we do on the weekends as a family.
The ski resorts and spas are amazing in Andorra
We visited Andorra in 2018 for about six days. It's a tiny country nestled in the Pyrenees between Spain. It's a two-hour drive from Barcelona and three hours from Toulouse, France.
The city has a unique fusion of cultures, though I think Catalonian is the strongest influence. During our trip, my family and I toured many ancient churches.
We also went to some amazing spas and resorts in Andorra. The hotel and ski system there is really family-friendly.
During our visit to the Grandvalira ski resort , my daughter learned how to ski and my husband got to snowboard â the resort has a kindergarten at the foot of its mountain, where kids can play or ski.
Andorra also has amazing spa facilities that are suitable for families and are sectioned off for different age groups.
Our trip was in collaboration with Andorra's tourism board, but I feel like it wasn't overly expensive in comparison to some other places around the world.
I was treated like family in Macedonia
Macedonia is a Balkan country just north of Greece. I haven't been there with children, but I wouldn't have any issues taking my kids there.
It has many beautiful small villages and it's great for skiing too.
The country is also home to one of the oldest and deepest lakes in Europe named Lake Orchid, which borders Albania. There's this beautiful, small village on the lake that has charming restaurant and a lovely atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying good food.
I visited the country in 2008, and then again in 2012 with my then-boyfriend and now-husband.
The first time I visited, I went with two girlfriends, and we were backpackers. We arrived in the middle of the night by bus and had no idea what we were doing. The bus driver just made a call, and a stranger came and picked us up in his car â I thought I was going to die.
The opposite happened. He took us back to his home with his family, and we stayed there with them for a few days. We ended up extending the trip because he and his family were so amazing.
They didn't speak a word of English, and we couldn't speak a word of their language either. We'd just gesture at each other, and they'd give us food and red wine.
I just totally fell in love with them and their country.
