Haben The BossHoss zum 2 mal gesehen und sie ist einfach unglaublich toll und einfach swhr vielseitig ♡ man kann da nicht bei sitzen bleiben. Ich liebe diese Band. Leider war edie Musik bisschen laut, so das man die Sti.men oft nicht klar gehört hat. Aber dir Stimmung ist der absolute Knaller und wor freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal ♡♡♡♡♡

Wie so einige schreiben die Boxen etwas sehr laut was die Stimmen öfter übertönt haben, Ein Hammer Konzert, dachte mir fliegen die Ohren weg, aber wie in 2019 auch dieses Mal das Geld auf jedenfalls wert, Boss wie immer durch die Halle geflogen, ich fand es tolll, auch Kollege Hoss war super Stimme Die Band im Hintergrund ihr seit MEGA Die Vorgruppe war Geschmacksache, nicht für jedermann muss es auch nicht sein Parkgebühren die haben ordentlich abgesahnt nicht so dolle Habe gesehen 2024 etwas weiter weg, man wird sehen

Event der Extraklasse!

Es war wirklich ein ganz tolles Event! Die Jungs von Boss Hoss hatten einen Mega-Spass und dementsprechend auch Ihr Publikum begeistert. Durch die Location war es fast familiär. Das ganze rundherum hat auch gepasst. Danke Boss Hoss für einen fantastischen Abend!!!

About The BossHoss

Berlin-based weisenheimers the Bosshoss reinterpreted contemporary pop and hip-hop hits in the style of traditional country music. Clad in ten-gallon hats and fringe-adorned western shirts, the septet developed a sound they dubbed "country trash punk rock," performing rockabilly-inspired covers of songs by Britney Spears, Nelly, and OutKast. The gag quickly caught on with audiences, and by year's end, the Bosshoss signed with Universal Music to record their debut LP, Internashville Urban Hymns. After contributing to the soundtrack for the 2006 film FC Venus, the group issued its sophomore effort, Rodeo Radio, which debuted in the Top Ten on the German pop charts. ~ Jason Ankeny

Deutschlands erfolgreichste & beliebteste großstadt-cowboys feiern ihr 20-jähriges jubiläum.

Yeehaw! Leute, poliert eure Stiefel, schnappt Eure Lederjacken und macht euch bereit für ein fantastisches Jubiläumsjahr mit Deutschlands erfolgreichsten und populärsten Großstadt-Cowboys: The BossHoss feiern in diesem Jahr ihr 20-jähriges Jubiläum und werden es richtig krachen lassen. Kaum zu glauben, doch seit zwei Dekaden sitzen die berühmtesten Country-Rockstars bereits fest im Sattel des Erfolgs. Was einst mit der Cover-Version des OutKast-Klassikers „Hey Ya!“ ihres Debüt-Albums „Internashville Urban Hymns“ begann, entwickelte sich bis heute zu einem wahren Kult. Mit ihrem einzigartigen signature Sound-Mix aus Rock, Rockabilly, Country, Neoblues angereichert mit etwas Pop-Appeal versetzten sie ganz Deutschland binnen kürzester Zeit in einen wahren Country-Rock-Rausch, der bis heute nicht nachgelassen hat.

Auf ihrer ausgedehnten Open Air Tour 2024 wollen The BossHoss gemeinsam mit ihren Fans feiern – und zwar „TWENTY F**KING YEARS!“. Ab April werden sie mit all ihren Hits im Gepäck in über 25 Städten in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz Halt machen und den für sie legendären Abriss-Rock im Country-Style zum Besten geben.

Wenn die sieben charismatischen Hauptstadt-Cowboys, allen voran die beiden Frontmänner Alec „Boss Burns“ Völkel und Sascha „Hoss Power“ Vollmer, auf der Bühne stehen, kommen nicht nur eingefleischte Country- sondern vor allem auch Rock’n’Roll-Fans voll auf ihre Kosten. Wir warnen ausdrücklich vor Drittanbietern wie viagogo, TIXWAVE. Bitte erwerbt Eure Tickets nur an offiziellen Vorverkaufsstellen, über unsere Homepage und über unsere empfohlenen Ticketportale (Reservix / ADticket, CTS eventim, ztix) oder über den auf der Künstlerhomepage ausgewiesenen Ticketanbieter.

Bei Ticketverlust wendet Euch bitte an Euer ausgewähltes Ticketportal, welches sich dann mit uns in Verbindung setzt.

Ausverkauft

Sollte eine Veranstaltung von uns als „ausverkauft“ kommuniziert werden, ist das Kontingent an Tickets vollständig erschöpft. Wir haben bei jedem Konzert eine begrenzte Ticketkapazität, welche aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht überschritten werden darf. Wir bitten um Verständnis.

Ticketrückgabe

Grundsätzlich sind der Umtausch oder die Rückerstattung der Eintrittskarten nur bei Veranstaltungsänderungen (Absage, zeitliche Verlegung) möglich. Tickets können in diesen Fällen – innerhalb eines Monats nach dem ursprünglichen Veranstaltungstermin – von der Vorverkaufsstelle, bei der die Karten erworben wurden, erstattet werden.

Die Open Air Veranstaltungen werden auch bei Regen durchgeführt. Regenponchos sind an der Abendkasse erhältlich. Bei Sturm- und/oder Orkanwarnungen im Vorfeld bitten wir Euch, am Veranstaltungstag die aktuellen Informationen auf der Homepage einzusehen.

Eine Verlegung des Veranstaltungsortes berechtigt nicht zur Rückgabe der Tickets. Beachtet dazu auch unsere AGBs.

Zur Abmilderung der Folgen von COVID-19 in der Veranstaltungsbranche, kommt es zu abweichenden Rückgabemodalitäten. Betroffen sind alle Veranstaltung, welche aufgrund der Corona Pandemie abgesagt oder verlegt werden mussten. ‍

Ermäßigungen

Wir bieten keinerlei Ermäßigung für Studenten, Schüler oder Senioren an.

Schwerbehinderte (ab 80 Prozent Behinderung) erhalten – nach Vorlage eines gültigen Ausweises – im Regelfall eine Ermäßigung von 50 Prozent auf den Ticketgrundpreis. Steht ein „B“ für „Begleitperson“ im Ausweis, so erhält die Begleitperson ein bis zu 50 Prozent ermäßigtes Ticket. Diese Ermäßigung beläuft sich auf den Ticketgrundpreis.

Hinweis: Anfallende Ticket-/Vorverkauf-Gebühren müssen in voller Höhe gezahlt werden.

RMV Kombiticket

Das RMV KombiTicket von Mainzer Mobilität und RMV ermöglicht die kostenlose Nutzung des ÖPNV. Somit gelten die für Veranstaltungen des FRANKFURTER HOFs Mainz erworbenen Tickets gleichzeitig als ÖPNV-Fahrkarte in der 2. Klasse im Verbundgebiet des RMV, wenn die Tickets entsprechend mit einem KombiTicket-Aufdruck versehen sind.

Das KombiTicket gilt am Veranstaltungstag zur Hinfahrt und zur Rückfahrt bis Betriebsschluss. Der RMV-Tarif gilt in Rheinland-Pfalz nur in Mainz (+ Zornheim und Wackernheim), nicht aber in den umliegenden rheinland-pfälzischen Landkreisen.

Für Eintrittskarten auf Original-Ticketpapier gilt:

• Die Eintrittskarte hat einen KombiTicket-Aufdruck.
• Zur Fahrt berechtigt nur das KombiTicket selbst, keine Kopien von zurückgelegten Eintrittskarten oder der gleichen.

Für Online-Tickets gilt:

• Zu jedem nicht-personalisierten Online-Ticket kann zusätzlich ein personalisiertes RMV-KombiTicket ausgedruckt werden: Auf dem Online-Ticket-Ausdruck befindet sich eine RMV-Zugangsnummer. Geben Sie diese bitte auf www.ztix.de/rmv ein.
• Dort wird das RMV-KombiTicket personalisiert, das heißt, es werden Vor- und Nachname sowie Adresse derjenigen Person angegeben, die dieses RMV-KombiTicket nutzen wird. Die eigentliche Eintrittskarte bleibt übertragbar.
• Dieses separate RMV-KombiTicket ist nur in Kombination mit der Eintrittskarte und einem gültigen Personalausweis oder Reisepass gültig.

Sollte eine Eintrittskarte nicht im Vorverkauf erworben worden sein, so muss der Fahrgast für die Hin- und Rückfahrt einen normalen Fahrausweis lösen. Im Übrigen gelten die Tarifbestimmungen und Beförderungsbedingungen der Verbünde in der jeweils gültigen Fassung.

Dem Einlasspersonal ist Folge zu leisten. Es finden Zugangskontrollen an den Eingängen zum Konzertgelände statt. Bitte beachtet den Punkt zu den verbotenen Gegenständen.

Bitte habt Verständnis dafür, dass die Einlassphase länger dauern kann. Aufgrund erhöhter Sicherheitsmaßnahmen sind keine Rucksäcke und Taschen über A4 Format zulässig. Taschen oder Rucksäcke, die nicht der vorgegeben Größe entsprechen, müssen beim Einlass kostenpflichtig! abgegeben werden. Aus diesem Grund gilt: Bitte nur das Nötigste mitnehmen!

U18 / Mindestalter bei Veranstaltungen

Bitte führt zum Altersnachweis immer euren Personalausweis oder Reisepass mit.

Wir halten uns an das Jugendschutzgesetz. Solltet ihr noch unter 18 sein, findet ihr nachfolgend alle Informationen zum Mindestalter bei Veranstaltungen:

• U14: Besuch aller Veranstaltungen nur in Begleitung der Erziehungsberechtigten.
• 14-16 Jahre: Besuch aller Veranstaltungen bis 22 Uhr mit Zustimmung der Eltern, jedoch ohne Begleitung der Eltern möglich.
• ‍ 16-18 Jahre: Besuch aller Veranstaltungen bis 0 Uhr mit Zustimmung der Eltern, jedoch ohne Begleitung der Eltern möglich.
• Ü18: Besuch aller Veranstaltungen uneingeschränkt möglich.

Erziehungsberechtigten empfehlen wir, die Veranstaltungen nur mit Kindern ab 10 Jahren zu besuchen. Der Zutritt wird nur in Begleitung eines Erziehungsberechtigten gewährt (s.o.).

Bei Kindern zwischen 6 und 10 Jahren überlassen wir den Erziehungsberechtigten die Entscheidung, ob ein Kind zur Veranstaltung mitgebracht wird. Kinder unter 6 Jahren erhalten keinen Zutritt.

Von den oben genannten Einschränkungen ausgenommen sind explizit ausgewiesene Veranstaltungen für Kinder.

Verbotene Gegenstände Zitadelle

Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist es bei unseren Veranstaltungen verboten folgende Gegenstände mitzubringen:

- größere Rucksäcke und Taschen – hier richten wir uns nach einer maximalen Taschengröße von einem DIN A4 Format - Professionelles Kamera, Video und Audiorecording Equipment und Selfiesticks - Waffen/Munition sowie gefährliche Gegenstände jeglicher Art - Deos, Parfüm und entflammbare Flüssigkeiten - Tiere - Essen/Getränke - erlaubt sind 0,5l PET Flaschen ohne Deckel - Dosen/Flaschen/Glas - Feuerwerkskörper und Laserpointer - Decken, Regenschirme, Helme, sperrige Gegenstände - Camping-, Klappstühle, Hocker

Bei Regen werden Regencapes zur Verfügung gestellt. Alternativ ist es erlaubt Knirps Regenschirme mit auf das Gelände zu nehmen. Stockschirme sind verboten. Bitte achtet auch darauf, dass ein Regenschirm die Sicht der hinter euch stehenden/sitzenden Besucher:innen versperren kann. Achtet daher auf eure Mitmenschen.

Barrierefreiheit

Alle unsere Veranstaltungsorte sind barrierefrei, sowohl für Rollstühle als auch für Rollatoren.

Es besteht kein Sitzanspruch für Begleitpersonen auf der Rollstuhlfahrertribüne.

Je nach Belegung durch Rollstuhlfahrer müssen sich Begleitpersonen vor oder neben die Tribüne stellen.

Zitadelle: Es gibt auf der Zitadelle über die Auffahrt „Am 87er Denkmal“ ausgewiesene Parkplätze. Menschen mit mobiler Einschränkung erhalten mit entsprechendem Behinderten-Ausweis Einlass.

Rheinbühne, Malakoff Terrasse: Das Parkhaus Fort Malakoff, welches sich unmittelbar neben dem Konzertgelände befindet, verfügt über Behindertenparkplätze und einen Aufzug.

Summer in the City - at the river

Der Rollstuhlfahrerbereich befindet sich unmittelbar hinter dem Picknickbereich. Rollstuhlfahrer:innen und deren Begleitpersonen die gerne Picknicken möchten, sind dazu berechtigt und können entweder vorab ihr Picknick-Paket buchen oder vor Ort eins erwerben.

Konzertgelände

Unsere Konzerte im Rahmen von SUMMER IN THE CITY finden in folgenden Locations statt: Zitadelle (Outdoor) und Rheinbühne (Malakoff Terrasse/Outdoor). Die jeweilige Location könnt Ihr über den Button „Info“  für jedes Konzert einsehen.

Fotos & Videos

Licht-, Ton-, Film- und Videoaufnahmen – auch für den privaten Gebrauch – sind nicht erlaubt.

Wichtiger Hinweis für alle Besucher:innen: Während der Konzerte werden Ton- und Bildnahaufnahmen zur medialen Verwertung vom Veranstalter oder Künstler gemacht. Mit dem Betreten des Geländes erklärt sich der Gast damit einverstanden, das Aufnahmen (Ton und Bild) von ihm gemacht werden.

Dem Sicherheitspersonal auf dem Gelände ist Folge zu leisten.

Zuwiderhandlungen werden strafrechtlich verfolgt. Bei Nichtbeachtung der Verbote erfolgt der Verweis vom Veranstaltungsgelände, ohne dass der Besucher eine (Teil-) Rückerstattung des Eintrittspreises verlangen könnte.

Schützt Euer Gehör! Bei Konzerten kann es unter anderem durch Pfiffe im Publikum zu Lärmentwicklungen kommen, die hörschädigende Wirkung haben können. An der Abendkasse erhältst Du einen kostenlosen Gehörschutz.

Speisen & Getränke

Bei unseren Konzerten gibt es eine vielfältige Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. (An den Ständen ist nur Barzahlung möglich)

Das Mitbringen von eigenen Speisen und Getränken ist untersagt. Das Mitbringen von nicht-alkoholischen Getränken in PET-Flaschen (0,5 Liter, ohne Deckel) ist bei unseren Open-Air-Veranstaltungen gestattet. Der Deckel muss zwingend im Voraus abgenommen werden.

Auf dem Veranstaltungsgelände sind WCs sowie Behindertentoiletten zur kostenlosen Nutzung vorhanden. Beachtet die WC-Beschilderung auf dem Gelände.

Auf dem Veranstaltungsgelände sind Sanitäter für den Ernstfall vor Ort. Das Zelt der Johanniter befindet sich am Eingang zum Festivalgelände.

The Rolling Stones have decided who will “Start Them Up” on tour this year.

However, unlike most tours, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are mixing things up and bringing different opening acts to each city they’re hitting on the spring and summer  ‘The Stones Tour ’24 Hackney Diamonds.’

Just a few of the big names joining them include Gary Clark Jr. ( April 28 in Houston ), Joe Bonamassa ( May 15 in Seattle ), Tyler Childers ( June 3 in Orlando ), KALEO ( June 11 in Philadelphia ) and Lainey Wilson ( June 30 in Chicago ).

As for their MetLife Stadium gigs, pop-soul outfit Lawrence is slated to kick things off at their Sunday, May 26 concert ; no opener has been announced for the Thursday, May 23 show .

And if you’ve been on the fence about catching Mick, Keith and Ronnie live because you fear exorbitant ticket prices, we’re happy to report that some shows have cheaper seats available than one might imagine.

The Rolling Stones new music

On Oct. 20, the Stones released their 26th American studio album,  “Hackney Diamonds,”  featuring special guests Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder.

Comprised of 12 hard-rocking tracks that wouldn’t be out of place alongside their singalong stadium anthems of yore, “Diamonds” shows that Mick, Keith and Ronnie still have their sticky fingers on rock and roll’s pulse.

“We wouldn’t have put this album out if we didn’t really like it,” Jagger, 80, told Jimmy Fallon. “We must say that we are quite pleased with it. We’re not big-headed but we hope you like it.”

Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band alive and well in 3-plus hours of thunderous hits

The pent-up demand for Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band had put ardent fans on edge.

Would the Boss' energy be the same after the rocker was forced to cancel last year's show in March due to illness and then a rescheduled performance in September due to a peptic ulcer?

Did the 74-year-old still have the stamina to navigate a stage for more than three hours? To gyrate with his guitar and hit the high notes of ballads and rock classics? To remember the lyrics as he's done for more than four decades in over 1,300 concerts with the band?

The answer, from about 20,000 devotees at Sunday's concert at Nationwide Arena, was a resounding, deafening "Yes." It was the band's first show in Columbus since 2016.

The tone was set in the opening bars of "Youngstown," a nod to the Rust Belt factories that build the weaponry "that won this country's wars," but then died off to leave empty shells and unemployment. A searing guitar solo by Nils Lofgren infused the song with powerful shards of despair.

And like the canon blast after a Columbus Blue Jackets' goal, "Lonesome Days" followed, with a jarring rim shot by drummer Max Weinberg, a percussive human metronome throughout the sell-out concert that lasted about three hours and 10 minutes.

Springsteen, in a short-sleeve denim shirt, black vest and purple tie, appeared to relish the arena crowd. With eyes often closed, he channeled deeply personal songs like "The Promised Land," The Rising," and "Ghosts."

His grimacing was not from bad joints, but during his guitar solos, thrashing the strings during extended versions of favorites such as "Streets of Fire."

He didn't pause much between songs, often exchanging one guitar for another by tossing it to a stagehand, as Weinberg continued to strafe the crowd with nonstop rhythmic transitions.

During "Spirit in the Night," Springsteen graciously walked behind the stage to focus on those seated behind the band, sauntering at times for effect.

He ended up in front, resting his legs on the edge of the stage and his back against saxophonist Jake Clemons, whose uncle Clarence Clemons, also a sax player, was one of Springsteen's closest friends.

While mortality and distant youth were themes that may have resonated with the older crowd, many of whom were in high school or college when Springsteen blasted into stardom in the late 1970s and early '80s, there were also some younger fans.

Michelle Grinestaff and her husband, Jared Schuetter, brought their daughters, Claudia, 14, and Vivian, 12, both of whom had memorized many of Bruce's hits.

"She's been playing Springsteen their entire lives," said Schuetter of his wife.

Grinestaff's attraction followed her father Jerry's, a rabid fan who, two years ago died of pulmonary fibrosis. The night before his passing, she told him she really wanted him to come to last year's concert with the girls. "He said to just make sure you have a good time," she recalled, halting to wipe a tear.

She vividly recalls that Springsteen's "Racing in the Street" was playing while to spoke to her dad. She hoped she'd hear it Sunday night.

Sure enough, the concert's 19th song, "Racing in the Street," was a beautiful rendition of love, loss and redemption with exquisite interplay between Roy Bittan's piano and Charles Giordano's organ. The audience quickly silenced, seemingly in hushed awe of Springsteen's meticulous alchemy of music and lyrics, considered by many among his best work.

The Boss still is in top form, telling the audience that his little "bellyache" from last year is a memory. "It's all good now," he said. He even skipped across the stage at one point during "Hungry Heart."

Springsteen seems to thrive on the adulation, but not in a selfish manner. He's keenly aware of audience temperament. And knowing when to end a marathon show is about having empathy for the crowd, which stood most of the night.

Typical of the band's recent encores, the iconic "Born to Run" led a string of hits, including "Rosalita (Come out Tonight)," "Bobby Jean," "Dancing in the Dark" and "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out."

Full, bright arena lighting illuminated the crowd during a medley of oldie covers, including a Detroit medley, "Devil with the Blue Dress On/Good Golly Miss Molly and C.C. Rider," among others.

Brothers Darrell and Don Miller, of Hilliard, both in their early 60s, recalled before the concert training for high school basketball with a coach playing the song "Born to Run" endlessly to inspire track workouts.

"It's the one song not on my playlist," said Don, "because I had to run laps to that thing for two years."

Darrell couldn't help wonder how much longer Springsteen can keep running.

"He's going overseas. This might be his ride off into the sunset," he said.

The blast furnace of a performance is the tour's last in the U.S. as the band now heads to Great Britain to begin its European tour. It returns in late summer, including two shows in Pittsburgh on Aug. 15 and 18.

Toward the show's final encore, "I'll See You in my Dreams," from his 2020 album, "Letter to You," Springsteen bent over in feigned (or likely real) exhaustion.

"I don't think you got anything left," he challenged the crowd, which answered in a deafening roar. "Are you saying you can outlast the E Street Band?"

A test of an artist's emotional reach is often found in the most distant seats. In the upper bowl, at the far end of the Nationwide stage, fans could be seen dancing, pumping their arms and waving.

Springsteen looked skyward, opened his eyes and smiled broadly.

Bruce Springsteen Thanks U.S. Audiences, Playfully Warns European Fans, “We’re Coming to Get Ya!”

B ruce Springsteen and the E Street Band wrapped up the first two scheduled U.S. legs of their 2024 world tour with a show in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday, April 21, and now the Boss and his group are preparing to launch a European trek in early May.

Springsteen has posted a couple of videos on his social media sites in which he sends out messages to his fans across the pond and to those who came to see his recent stateside concerts.

In the first clip , Springsteen is captured walking offstage at what apparently was the end of his performance in Columbus.

“How sweet it is! How sweet it is!” the Boss yells into the camera as he rubs some moisturizer on his hands. “All right! I’m walking off stage from my last American show, but I want you to know that we, the E Street Band, are coming to Europe! We’re coming to get ya. We’re coming to rock you into the ground. We’re gonna get it! See you soon.”

Springsteen then claps his hands and walks away into the backstage area of the venue. The video then shows a poster featuring all of the upcoming European dates.

Springsteens Message to U.S. Fans

The second clip features Springsteen standing outside of a house or cabin that may be part of his New Jersey residence.

“I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of our American fans for this last stretch of shows we’ve played here in the States,” he says. “We had so many good shows, and so many great audiences. It was really wonderful.”

The Boss then addresses the fact that he and the E Street Band had to postpone many tour dates last year because he needed to be treated for peptic ulcer disease.

“Thank you for your understanding and patience with our cancellations,” he notes. “Deeply appreciate it.”

Bruce adds, “We just couldn’t have had a better time here in the United States. God bless. We’re heading to Europe. We’ll see you when we get back.”

As with several other recent videos posted on Springsteen’s socials, the new clips were shot by his sister, lauded rock photographer Pamela Springsteen.

Springsteen’s Upcoming Tour Plans

Springsteen and the E Street Band’s European tour leg runs from a May 5 concert in Cardiff, Wales, through a July 27 show in London. Besides the U.K., Bruce and the gang will visit Ireland, France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway.
