TIME TO CHECK-IN

For most flights, you can check in on the Frontier app starting 24 hours before your flight's scheduled departure time.  You must have your boarding pass and have any bags checked in by the below cutoff times before departure:

• 60 minutes (domestic flights)
• 60 minutes (international flights)

If you fail to check-in or to board your flight within the required time (check-in: 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time; boarding: 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time), your ticket will be deemed a No-Show Cancellation and cancelled. All subsequent flights, including return flights, on the itinerary, will also be treated as No-Show Cancellations. Please reference the Contract of Carriage for more details.

How to Check In

Check in up to 24 hours before your flight.

Up to 24 hours before departure, you can check in online. Select “Check In” in the page header or go to My Trips . If you aren’t logged in, enter your confirmation number, SkyMiles number or credit card number to access your itinerary. You can print your boarding pass or get an eBoarding Pass on your mobile device.

Fly Delta App

Make your travel day even easier with the Fly Delta app. After download, check in as a guest, log in or register for a SkyMiles® account. From there, add your trip confirmation number to access your trips. When you’re logged in, you’ll be automatically checked in 24 hours before your flight, and you can use Today Mode to see your boarding pass, baggage tracker and more.

Need to check in at the airport? Already checked in but not ready to go through airport security? Our kiosks are a fast and easy solution. Airport Curbside

How to check in for flights on American Airlines

It's almost time for your flight, and there's just one thing left to do before heading for airport security. And that's packing check in. This is the process that creates your boarding pass and allows you to check your bags at the airport .

You can do this formality online or at the airport, though many will prefer the convenience of the former. Either way, there are some rules to understand, so let's dive deep into checking in for an American Airlines flight .

How to check in online for American Airlines flights

You can check in for AA flights on the airline's website or through the mobile app. The experience is very similar, though the benefit of the mobile app is that you can generate a digital boarding pass within your mobile wallet.

After locating your reservation using your six-digit confirmation number, you'll be prompted to check in at the top left corner of the reservation page.

Pressing that button will take you through the check-in process. You'll then need to agree to the hazardous materials policy. Pressing continue will bring you to the Trip Options page, where you can purchase additional miles for your trip ( don't do it; it's a bad deal ).

You'll then be brought to the seat map to select or modify your seat for your flight(s).

After you select your seats, you'll be checked in!

You then have the option of printing your boarding passes now, emailing a mobile boarding pass to your phone or saving a PDF of your boarding pass.

Rules for American Airlines flight check-in

You can check in online or using the mobile app starting 24 hours before and up to 45 minutes before departure of the first flight in your itinerary. This applies even if you have a connecting flight that's more than a day away. Note that online and app check-in closes an hour and a half before departure for international flights.

If you're planning to check bags at the airport , you need to have the bags checked at least 45 minutes prior to domestic flights and 60 minutes prior to international flights. There are some airports with exceptions to this rule, which you can find on AA's website .

Furthermore, there are some airports that won't accept checked bags more than four hours before scheduled departure. This includes:

• Denver (DEN)
• Fort Lauderdale (FLL)
• Las Vegas (LAS)
• Orlando (MCO)
• Portland, Oregon (PDX)
• Salt Lake City (SLC)
• Seattle (SEA)

If the first flight of your itinerary is operating by an American Airlines partner , you're going to check in with that airline directly, and not on AA's website.

Tips and tricks to checking in for American Airlines flights

There are some things to consider when you check in for your flight. Make sure you have your confirmation number handy, especially if you're going to check in at the airport. The kiosks default to ask for that code, so this can save time.

I personally prefer to use mobile boarding passes to save paper and have one less thing to worry about misplacing. That said, you need to be sure you have your phone's battery charged for the entire trip, otherwise you'll be forced to get a physical boarding pass.

Another tip about mobile boarding passes is to screenshot it after it gets created. I often find that retrieving the mobile boarding pass can be confusing when you're under pressure, so be sure to screenshot it for easy access.

Lastly, if you get an error checking in online, fear not. You may be on a military fare, have a pet or are traveling with an unaccompanied minor. Or you may be subject to the dreaded SSSS , which will be printed on your boarding pass at the airport.

Checking in for your American Airlines flight is exciting. That means it's almost time to take to the skies. But, there are some tips and tricks to know and some rules to follow to make it an efficient process.

Seems like this is a new route and LH’s first entry into the MSP market. And it starts in early June. I don’t think they are there yet, but I suspect they will position the check-in desk near the other Star Alliance partners - UA and AC.

I am sorry but why on earth are you worrying about check in counters now. I check the terminal before I leave and only bother about the check in counters when I arrive

I think it is likely it will be at or near United's checkin since they are partners.

Also, the MSP website lists Lufthansa (and United) as being at T1.

I never bother with finding out beforehand!

Playgirl Ran a 'Sleep with Donald Trump' Contest in 1990?

An x (formerly twitter) post stated, "that one time #trump was in playgirl for anyone to win a trip to his bed.", izz scott lamagdeleine, published april 21, 2024.

About this rating

For years, claims have spread across social media platforms that Playgirl magazine ran a "Sleep with Donald Trump" contest in their August 1990 edition.

An X (formerly Twitter) post from 2023 stated , "That one time #Trump was in Playgirl for anyone to win a trip to his bed." Attached were four images that allegedly showed the contest in question.

We found posts about the claims on other social media platforms, including TikTok , Reddit and Instagram .

Playgirl did run a "Sleep with Donald Trump" contest, as we previously reported  in 2020. We reached out for further details to Playgirl, which confirmed the magazine had run the contest in its August 1990 edition, as well as in the "Coming Up" section in its July 1990 issue.

As we reported in 2020, Trump and his first wife Ivana were in the midst of their divorce around the time the photo contest was announced. The contest claimed it picked 25 winners, one for "each million of soon-to-be-ex-wife Ivana's prenuptial agreement." (The New York TImes reported in 1991 that she received $14 million in the divorce settlement.)

The prize for winning the contest was a pillowcase with Trump's face on it, as well as a copy of "Donald Trump: The Man, The Myth, The Scandal" by Joel Reed:

2027 QB Trae Taylor makes trip from Illinois to see UCLA, USC practices

The move from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten will offer UCLA and USC the opportunity to become a more viable, attractive option for recruits in the Midwest.

Trae Taylor , a 2027 quarterback at Mundelein (Ill.) Carmel Catholic, got a head start with a two-day trip to Southern California to check out both schools in person.

Taylor took unofficial visits Thursday morning and Friday evening to UCLA, with a Friday afternoon official to USC sandwiched in between — all before returning in time to visit Illinois’ spring game Saturday afternoon.

Although, Taylor said, the conference change had “no effect” on his interest to see both schools, it is “convenient.”

“You can feel the rivalry between the two schools,” Taylor told Bruin Blitz after landing back in Illinois.

“I’d rate it a 10 out of 10. I got enough out of this trip. Looking to see what happens moving forward.”

The idea to visit stemmed from initial interest from UCLA, then USC followed a few days later. Find out what he thought about both schools, the conversations with the respective coaching staffs and the top early priorities in his recruitment below:

Taylor’s thoughts on UCLA

The additions of offensive coordinator/associate head coach Eric Bieniemy and quarterbacks coach Ted White made a trip to UCLA “a must I get out here,” Taylor said.
