Lizzo performing in Perth for the first Australian show on her Special tour.

‘This is our moment together’: Lizzo kicks off Australian tour with spectacular, celebratory joy

RAC Arena, Perth In Perth for the first time, the pop star pulled out all the stops – and the flute – for her Special tour that’s all about power, inclusivity and love

  • Get our weekend culture and lifestyle email

It’s a sea of sequins and glitter among the audience. The lights go down, and neon red letters fill the screen: “THIS IS A SHOW ABOUT LOVE.”

Lizzo fans, of course, already know what they’re in for: deft lyricism, boundless warmth and pure joy. The US pop star’s last tour, Cuz I Love You Too at the start of 2020, didn’t make it to Perth; for Australia’s west coast, it’s been a long wait.

Friday night at the RAC Arena marks the first Australian show on her Special tour, and her voice fills the room almost instantly, opening with Cuz I Love You. In black leather, under a spectacle of bright red lights, she’s soulful and she’s a force: flanked on either side by her dancers, but undoubtedly the centrepiece.

The crowd is largely women, of all ages and ethnicities, many in their own sparkling outfits. There are rhinestone fringes, metallic streamers in the hair, a mother and daughter with fairy lights wrapped around themselves, and pink – so much pink. Juice and 2 Be Loved ring out across the stadium, before Lizzo speaks to us directly: “When was the last time you said something kind about yourself?” she asks. “It’s been too damn long!”

Visually, the show is a delight from the beginning. At times it’s pure fun, like the neon line drawings that accompany the first half of the setlist, accordingly upbeat; elsewhere, we get artful videos of Lizzo herself, celebratory in their beauty. She launches into Soulmate, giving each of her dancers their own moment to shine, before a tidy segue into Grrrls and a thumping rendition of Boys.

For Tempo, the lights dim, the vibe gets sultry, and the dancers don’t hold back. The song features Missy Elliott in the recording; on stage, Elliott sends Lizzo an audio message: “You’re going to be around for a very, very, very long time.” Though there are 15,000 of us in the crowd, there’s an intimacy that feels rare for a show of this size. Lizzo is taking us into her world. “This is our moment together,” she tells us. “I want you to say ‘I’m special’,” prefacing her song of the same name.

Sign up for the fun stuff with our rundown of must-reads, pop culture and tips for the weekend, every Saturday morning

And yet, Lizzo herself knows not everyone can be a fan. When she plays Rumors, comments from the internet fill the screen behind her through brightly coloured chat bubbles, ranging from the maddeningly common – “Is that a BBL?,” “She’s prettier in person” – to the comical – “Lizzo parties in the Bermuda triangle,” “Lizzo played an alien flute at Area 51.” Cardi B joins us for her verse – through a video selfie played on a screen, as though she’s FaceTiming into the room. As Like a Girl begins, Lizzo gestures to her spectacularly bejeweled microphone stand: “I want you to think of this as your ex,” she says, and kicks it to the ground.

Halfway through, we’re taken through a meditation, beginning with a guided breathing exercise, and ending with an affirmation: “I am free.” Lizzo references the meditation later on: “Did it make you feel better? … I’m back here doing it too, visualising my higher self, loving on my higher self. I can come here and sing you songs, but if you don’t leave here feeling better, then I didn’t do my job!”

As the lights go down, footage of Lizzo fills the screen, showcasing her body. “My body is beautiful,” she narrates. “My body is nobody’s business.” Purple smoke fills the room, and she re-emerges in a shimmering gold dress for Jerome. Lizzo is vocally resplendent, effortlessly hitting every note and run; she belts, she growls, she kneels to the stage to close the song. For her song Coldplay, she brings out the flute – the instrument she’s been classically trained in, mastering since childhood – and the notes float through the air. As the crowd lights up the venue, waving their phones, she tells us: “This light represents the love you have for yourself.” It’s a tender interlude, but she’s back to her usual pace soon enough. “Should we play more flute?” she asks, and the response is the loudest of the night.

Lizzo delivers with a virtuosic solo before leading into Truth Hurts, which remains the longest-running No 1 song by a solo female rap artist on the Billboard charts in history. The energy in the room is rapturous. At one point, she’s twerking and playing the flute simultaneously without missing a beat, and the crowd is, in millennial speak, here for it .

after newsletter promotion

“It’s about to get funky in here,” she calls out, belting Chaka Khan’s I’m Every Woman, and into Everybody’s Gay. Rainbow lights frame the stage, and rainbow silhouettes echo her moves. On stage, Lizzo drapes herself in a flag with colours representing the LGBTQIA+ community, with the notable inclusion of brown and black stripes – Daniel Quasar’s Progress Pride flag, designed in 2015 to include and celebrate the trans community and people of colour. She dedicates this one to the queer women, and the trans women.

Notable throughout the show is the emphasis on Lizzo’s band and her dancers; she gives ample time to each individual performer, in moments that make for some of the most impressive of the night. Her inclusivity extends to the rapt room around her. She summons a flute for an audience member, a flautist, who performs a rendition of Down Under for Lizzo from the floor. She sings Birthday Girl to a birthday girl. “Ain’t no such thing as nosebleeds, baby! I love you!” she yells to those at the back – complimenting outfits, reading homemade signs (“Oh, baby, your ‘P’ is upside down.” It’s promptly turned up the right way.). She directs the cameras to a lady dressed in a hot pink cloud dress, layers of tulle, to tell her she looks beautiful.

Lizzo closes the show with the four-times platinum Good as Hell, before returning for an encore with About Damn Time. As the crowd pours out of the arena, buzzing and beaming, there’s no doubt that Lizzo did her job tonight. It was a show about love, and that love flowed both ways.

Lizzo’s tour continues this month in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland. She is also headlining Splendour in the Grass , which kicks off in Byron Bay on 21 July

Following news of her headline act at Splendour in the Grass, Lizzo has revealed she’ll be touring around Australia and New Zealand. By Hayley Peppin

lizzo tour australia dates

IT’S ABOUT Damn Time Lizzo returned to Australia and New Zealand. And apparently, the American superstar and all-round icon agrees with us.

Lizzo has announced she’ll be touring our glorious part of the world mid-year, following last week’s stellar news of her headlining Splendour in the Grass. The stadium side shows will run alongside her Splendour debut, with the festival set to take place between Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd July.

This’ll be the first time Lizzo has been down under since 2020, where she not only sold-out Melbourne’s The Forum and the Sydney Opera House, and performed at FOMO festival — but adorably packed Foodbank hampers for bushfire-affected victims.

This year, however, the 34-year-old will be hitting our shores with Grammy in tow — after taking home the 2023 Record of the Year for ‘About Damn Time’ (on top of four nominations) — and is to be supported by the inimitable Australian singer-songwriter and rapper, Tkay Maidza.

“the girls are popppin out!! soooo excited to be supporting THEE  @lizzobeeating  this july in aus!! amen!! rahhhh,” Maidza shared to Instagram .

Lizzo will be performing her Grammy-nominated fourth studio album Special , which was released in July, 2022 in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The record included hit singles such as ‘About Damn Time’ and ‘2 Be Loved (Am I Ready).’ Previously, Lizzo made history when her track ‘Truth Hurts’ from her CUZ I LOVE YOU album became the longest running #1 song by a solo female rap artist ever.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, even though I know you guys were going through a lot as a country (with bushfires),” Lizzo told The Daily Telegraph in July 2022.

“I really felt like I connected with Australia and had some really beautiful moments. So of course I want to come back like, why wouldn’t I? I love to tour, I love to travel and I love Australia.”

Every once in a while, an artist changes not only music, but culture as well. Lizzo has done both, shifting the sound, soul, and spirit of popular music and culture with a series of definitive history-making smashes. Along the way, she has collected numerous awards, topped the Billboard Hot 100 at #1 twice, picked up over a dozen gold and platinum certifications, sold out tours, and appeared in blockbuster films.

Lizzo’s hugely adored second full-length offering  Special is her biggest, boldest, and brightest revolution thus far: bursting with chunky disco-funk beats designed to make you move. Special 's spirited, charismatic anthems are her most adventurous yet. The album saw Lizzo receive 4 nominations at the 65 th  Annual GRAMMY Awards recently, with monumental lead single  About Damn Time  taking out the coveted title of Record Of The Year.

Hailed by Rolling Stone as “ the most unabashedly joyous, sonically diverse, and emotionally profound album put out by a major label since Beyonce’s Lemonade,” Lizzo’s SPECIAL debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and #1 on the Pop Albums chart.

Lizzo first took over with her 2019 debut album, CUZ I LOVE YOU . It bowed at #4 on the Billboard Top 200, reached platinum status, graced countless critical year-end lists, and spawned “Tempo” [feat. Missy Elliott] (platinum), “Juice” (2x-platinum), “Good As Hell” (4x-platinum), and “Truth Hurts” (9x-platinum).

TIME Magazine and Entertainment Weekly crowned Lizzo “Entertainer of the Year” in 2019, and she adorned the covers of Rolling Stone , Billboard , Elle , British Vogue , and more as well as gracing Barack Obama’s Playlist. CBS Sunday Morning chronicled her career in a special. Turning heads, she notably lit up the American Music Awards , MTV VMA , BET Awards , and SNL with unforgettable performances. She maintained this momentum on 2021’s gold-certified “Rumors” [feat. Cardi B].

Expanding her imprint and influence across media, Lizzo lent her voice to the animated UglyDolls and accompanied Jennifer Lopez on the big screen in Hustlers . She joined forces with Amazon Prime to launch #1 Prime Reality TV show Watch Out For the Big Grrrls . Championing diversity, the show follows her search for new backup dancers, inviting 10 plus-sized talents to compete for a place on her world tour. She has also linked up with Fabletics for her own activewear line, Yitty, inclusive of plus-sized body types.

More Lizzo

Four-time Grammy Award-winner, Emmy Award-winner, songwriter, rapper, flautist and singer Lizzo  will bring her Special  tour to Australia and New Zealand this July.

The series of headline shows will accompany her debut Splendour In The Grass appearance (which also happens to be a headline performance). Tkay Maidza will join the US music sensation at all the shows.

Lizzo’s Australian tour will commence at Perth’s RAC Arena on 14 July, followed by Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne on 17 July, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on 23 July and concluding at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Wednesday, 26 July. Audiences in Queensland will have to buy a ticket to Splendour In The Grass or travel interstate sans a Brisbane date.

For keen fans with wallets at the ready, the American Express pre-sale runs from 11 am on Friday, 24 March, until Tuesday, 28 March, at 11 am. The Live Nation pre-sale begins on Tuesday, 28 March, at noon, concluding on Wednesday, 29 March, at 10 am.

General public tickets go on sale on Wednesday, 29 March, from 11 am. All times are local. Go to the Live Nation website to access tickets and more details.

With the full line-up announcement to arrive in a few weeks, this Special  announcement will surely tide concertgoers over in the meantime.

Lizzo will be making her Splendour In The Grass debut with a headline slot, which is pretty impressive - not many artists these days could achieve that feat. Lizzo is the first black solo female R&B singer to claim the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 since 2012, and Truth Hurts  became the longest-running #1 by a solo female rap artist ever.

Lizzo last toured across Australia over three years ago - in January 2020.

In The Music ’s review , we found that her talents and hard work to become a natural performer made for a gig that her audience loved every second of. “From the moment Lizzo bellowed the opening chords of Cuz I Love You , the title track from her third and most recent studio album, the crowd was treated to a divine experience. Lizzo was the preacher and the audience her loyal followers as she sermonised about the things that matter in 2020 – body positivity and self-love and care,” we noted.

We’re looking forward to more divine experiences this July.

Stop Everything: Lizzo Is Touring Australia In 2023

Profile picture of Kirsty Thatcher

We’re in for a treat because Lizzo has announced she will tour Australia and New Zealand this July.

The Grammy Award winner will take her second album, Special , to Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland, beginning on July 14.

The album, which includes About Damn Time (among other bangers), saw Lizzo receive 4 nominations at this year’s Grammy Awards, and also take home the coveted Record Of The Year category.

This success follows that of her first album, CUZ I LOVE YOU , which included the single Truth Hurts , which made history as the longest running #1 song by a solo female rap artist ever.

In even more good (as hell) news, Australian singer-songwriter and rapper, Tkay Maidza has been announced as the support act for all shows in the upcoming tour.

News of the tour comes just a week after Lizzo was announced as the headlining act for this year’s Splendour In The Grass festival , which is set to take place between Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd July.

In 2022, Lizzo told The Daily Telegraph , “‘I really felt like I connected with Australia and had some really beautiful moments. So of course I want to come back like, why wouldn’t I? I love to tour, I love to travel and I love Australia.”

Lizzo Is Officially Bringing Her World Tour To Australia And New Zealand

By Jessica Best 22nd Mar 2023

lizzo tour australia dates

If news that Lizzo is headlining Splendour In The Grass 2023 has you in a state, you'll want to sit down for the next bit.

Turns out, the four-time Grammy Award-winner is officially touring Australia and New Zealand this year from July 14 until July 26 (mark that down in your diary).

The legendary Lizzo obviously needs no introduction but it would be remiss of us not to shout out her history-making smashes including  Juice, Truth Hurts, Tempo  and of course,  About Damn Time  which took out the coveted title of Record Of The Year at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards recently.

Lizzo's freshly announced Splendour sideshows will bring her The  Special Tour to Australia and New Zealand, a nod to her 2022 album which recieved four nominations at the aforementioned GRAMMY Awards. The album is an undeniable ode to chunky disco-funk beats designed to make your body absolutely crank it on the dancefloor so we can only imagine what Lizzo's tour has in store.

To really pop the cherry on top, our home-grown singer-song writer and rapper Tkay Maidza will be the supporting act for Lizzo and we couldn't imagine a more iconic duo.

Arts & entertainment, design & style, travel & leisure, search concrete playground, lizzo has added extra shows to her 2023 australian arena tour before general tickets even go on sale.

The rapper, singer and flautist's Sydney and Melbourne gigs have sold out, so she's added more.

Lizzo Has Added Extra Shows to Her 2023 Australian Arena Tour Before General Tickets Even Go on Sale

Fancy warming up your winter by watching Lizzo hit the stage? Don't we all. That's this July's hottest ticket Down Under, at both 2023's Splendour in the Grass — where the rapper, singer and flautist is the only announced headliner so far — and on her own arena tour of the country . And the latter is proving such a hit that more dates have already been added.

General ticket sales for Lizzo's Aussie tour only start on Wednesday, March 29, but the pre-sale period has seen her Sydney and Melbourne gigs sell out already via pre-sales. Cue two new concerts — one in each city — although, in sad news for Brisbanites, there's still no sign of a stint in the Sunshine State.

lizzo tour australia dates

Still, if you're keen to see the 'Tempo', 'Juice', 'Truth Hurts' and 'Rumors' singer doing her own shows in New South Wales and Victoria, this news is as good as hell. Lizzo's solo gigs are tied to her 2022 album Special , including, of course, Grammy Record of the Year-winning single 'About Damn Time'. But attendees can expect to hear hits from 2019's CUZ I LOVE YOU as well — and an overall set filled with dance-ready beats.

Joining Lizzo on all dates as a special guest is Tkay Maidza, which means two must-see talents for the price of one.

While a Lizzo tour is always a welcome announcement, fans in Brisbane will still note the usual Splendour setup — that is, when someone plays the fest and does their own gigs around it, Brissie is considered close enough to Byron to not warrant a separate stop.

The Live Nation pre-sale for the new Sydney and Melbourne gigs runs until 10am local time on Wednesday, March 29, with general sales for all shows kicking off at 11am local time also on Wednesday, March 29.

Lizzo Announces 2023 Australian Headline Shows

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Lizzo is confirmed as one of the headliners for Splendour in the Grass 2023 . The American popstar has now announced a trio of headline dates surrounding the festival, with support from Tkay Maidza . These will be Lizzo’s first Australian headline shows since 2020, a trip that also included a high-profile slot on the touring FOMO Festival .

Lizzo’s 2023 tour begins at Perth’s RAC Arena on Friday, 14th July. She’ll head to Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, on Monday, 17th July, and conclude the run on Sunday, 23rd July at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. Splendour is set to run from Friday, 21st July to Sunday, 23rd July, so we can deduce that Lizzo will be performing on either Friday or Saturday.

Lizzo – ‘About Damn Time’

Lizzo released her fourth studio album, Special , in July 2022. The album produced the hit singles ‘About Damn Time’, which won Record of the Year at the 2023 Grammy Awards, and ‘2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)’.

Special reached number two in the Australian and US albums charts, building on the success of Lizzo’s 2019 breakthrough LP, Cuz I Love You . The latter album gained platinum accreditation from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), meaning its sales and streaming figures surpassed one million.

The success of Cuz I Love You was spurred on by the revived interest in Lizzo’s 2017 single ‘Truth Hurts’, which was re-serviced to radio in March 2019 following its virality on TikTok. ‘Truth Hurts’ was included on the deluxe edition of Cuz I Love You , released in May 2019, two weeks after the album’s initial release.

American singer, rapper, songwriter, and flutist Lizzo is a modern sensation. Her genre-blending style, dance-worthy beats, and relentlessly positive message has made her has become far more than a musician for millions of people worldwide: She is an inspiration and a leader.

Lizzo — real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson—was born in Detroit, Michigan. She relocated to Houston, Texas, at age 10, and graduated high school with eight years of classical flute training and nearly as many years of rapping under her belt. Her talent for the flute took her to the University of Houston to study classical music. At age 21, her father died, and she began earnest attempts to break into the music industry, dropping out of college and living out of her car for a year.

In 2011, Lizzo moved to the Twin Cities and formed several groups including the electro-soul band Lizzo & the Larva Ink, which became popular in the Minneapolis area. However, it was her debut hip-hop album that showcased her unique style. Called Lizzobangers, this album received immediate critical acclaim and was heralded for its “joyfully nonsensical” “stream-of-consciousness rhymes.”

In 2013, just two years after moving to Minneapolis, Lizzo toured the UK and the US opening for Har Mar Superstar and was selected for the “Picked to Click” award for Best New Artist in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St. Paul). Her debut album was re-released by Virgin Records, and Lizzo rounded the year off by performing with St. Paul and the Broken Bones.

Lizzo made quick work in taking over Minneapolis, but a more global audience was awaiting her. She took part in StyleLikeU’s “What’s Underneath” project in 2014, taking off articles of clothing and discussing body image. That experience partly inspired her forthcoming second album Big Grrrl Small World, and was the subject of her song “My Skin.”

Big Grrrl Small World came out December 11, 2015, and was named one of the 50 best hip-hop albums of the year by Spin magazine. Coconut Oil, Lizzo’s first major-label EP, came out October 2016. Led by the chart-topping single “Good as Hell,” this EP focused on self-love and body positivity how-to’s. It was a huge critical success, called “essential for healthy living” by Nylon. It even made Rolling Stone’s “20 Best Pop Albums of 2016” list and was her first release to reach the charts.

Lizzo rode the wave into 2017 with the Good as Hell tour, and in early 2018, she toured with Florence and the Machine and Haim. Though she was quickly becoming the face of body positivity in music, she made a point of promoting diverse body types, races, sexuality, and more. The Big Grrrls backup dancers were all plus-size.

Lizzo’s third studio album, Cuz I Love You, was preceded by the release of her single “Juice.” The album dropped on April 19, 2019, and marked a breakthrough moment in her career. She performed at Coachella and reached number four on the Billboard 200 chart. Her single “Truth Hurts” was a sleeper hit, slowly rising to #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This made her the first Black solo female R&B singer to hit the number-one spot since 2012.

In the time since, Lizzo has live-performed flute at the BET Awards, at pride festivals in Sacramento and Indianapolis, at the Glastonbury Festival, in Somerset, UK, on Saturday Night Live, at the Australian FOMO Festival, and in other big spots around the world. She’s won three Grammys and has been nominated numerous times at the BET Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and more.

2021 saw the release of the song “Rumors,” followed by the 2022 release of “About Damn Time.” Lizzo said her fourth album, Special, was going to be “one of the most musically badass, daring, and sophisticated bodies of work I’ve done to date.” It came out on July 15, 2022, and was everything she promised it to be: diverse, genre-bending, and inspirational, just like her.

Live reviews

Lizzo's opener was her DJ Sophia Eris (whom I missed) and Empress Of, who is an alternative pop artist who I am a huge fan of and saw earlier at a smaller venue in San Diego. Her stage setup was quite minimal and it was unfortunate that the audience was still filtering in and not giving her and her band-mate (both were playing percussion and synth!) the attention that they deserved! It was super fun and I hope they at least got some new fans from opening for Lizzo. Unfortunately the sound quality was not the best- the bass was boosted so much and it drowned out the vocals for a while. I think the sound people were able to fix it halfway through. Empress Of is wonderful and everyone should see her solo show!

As expected, Lizzo was very high energy and the mix of her songs were great (Mix of Coconut Oil EP, Cuz I Love You, loosies like Boys). I love how her backup dancers were of different shapes and sizes. The songs flowed really well and she incorporated a lot of fun, interactive audience call + responses. Funniest part of the night is that she couldn't seem to remember which university the venue was at...she thought it was UCSD, and then was mouthed SDSU by the members in the front row...but misread and kept on calling it SCSU. It was pretty funny and she was self aware that she kept on goofing. Of course, the wonderful flute came out (I believe she played the theme of Anchorman and then transitioned to Juice for the encore). Obviously worth seeing, a Lizzo show will give you the seratonin boost you need.

Let me start off by saying that going into this show, I was not really a big fan of Lizzo's music. It's not to say that I didn't like it, it's just not my go to type of music. My wife, she wasn't what I would really call a big fan either. After hearing a couple songs, and getting the scoop I decided to buy the tickets. This is one of the best shows I have ever been too. You should go see her as soon as you can. My wife is now a superfan and is planning on downloading every song. While she will not be on my ipod, she will be someone who I will see any chance I can. The show had great music. Lizzo is a master at getting the crowd involved, hyped and dancing.

iguerro’s profile image

Great show! Lizzo and her all-female crew of dancers and producers put on a fantastic, high-energy show full of positivity and joy. The smallish venue (the latest incarnation of Antone's, with capacity for 700) was packed, but there was nothing but love all around. I loved how Lizzo brought up one of the fans on stage to dance with her and took requests from the crowd for what to play for the 2 encore songs. I only wish she could have performed longer and showed off more of her impressive rapid-fire rap skills from her earlier tracks. The local opening act, Magna Carda, also put on a strong show with a fierce female lead MC and a full rock band backing her up.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

Lizzo is absolutely 100% that bitch, and I love her for it. I am often disappointed by concerts because Beyonce was actually one of the first concerts I ever attended and no one can ever even come close. So far Lizzo is the only one match the performance and heart of a Beyonce show! Lizzo is her own Beyonce and she knows it. There's a singer and then there's a performer. Lizzo clearly knows how to connect with every single one of her fans and make you feel loved. It was probably the most love filled shows I've ever attended. I cannot wait to see her again!!!!

That. Was. A. Show.

Lizzo offered herself as the next Prime Minister, but on reflection thought she wanted to be POTUS.

That's a brilliant idea.

Sexy, sweet and silly, funny, funky, intelligent and cool in equal measure, with the noisiest audience I can remember - ever - screaming, chanting and singing along. "The Big Girls" were relentless too; non-stop, action-packed, sexy and fearless.

The parts that could have been cheesy were charming, affecting and life-affirming because, for all the flippancy, she means it. She's real.

We loved it.

Lizzo is fantastic and amazing. A very energetic performer who is funny and entertaining, and Hella talented.

However the Palladium in Köln...Is a HORRIBLE venue. Don't even bother buying tickets to shows there, the sound is horrible and if you're average height, you'll probably end up staring at the back of some head and assuming the performer is actually on stage. For the glimpses I caught of Lizzo... She was as I stated above.

The show was pretty amazing! The opener, Brooke Candy, was 30 minutes late and only performed for 20 minutes. Her performance, even though short, was awesome! Lizzo was also late, about 20 minutes, but she performed the full hour. She had great back-up dancers, a cool "dj", and the whole concert was a celebration of self love. You leave feeling good about yourself and the world. Would definitely see her again if I got the chance!

Lizzo was amazing!! Her show was full of energy, was original and her vocals were unbelievable!

Lizzo has great communication and audience participation throughout her shows, she spoke about her experiences in Australia and seg water into her next song with ease! She was truely amazing! Her singing, dancing and stage presence was that of a super star! Move over Queen B, there’s a new queen in town!

Lizzo was unreal! Vocals, lighting, staging were all amazing! The venue however, was severely overcrowded which totally ruined the evening. Even towards the back of the room there was no space at all and as a group of 4 we were continually being pushed and shoved by surrounding people. I was really disappointed by the event because of this reason!

This concert was Sexy, Engaging, Exciting, and Empowering. The energy level was off the charts. Lizzo rocked the crowd like.,,, well Like a Boss Bytch!! Luved it! Even her opening act was Boss too. I can’t think of a better way to have started the weekend!
