11 reviews. 7 helpful votes. 2. Re: Homeric tours. 14 years ago. We just returned last night from Greece using Homeric. We would most definitely advise against them. On the good side the hotels we were placed in were good, and all transfers were prompt. The problem came from the itinerary.

10 years ago. I did use Homeric Tours and it was a positive experience. I booked the Homeric Delight and arrived Athens Sept. 27. It was 3 nights Athens, 4 day cruise, getting off Louis Cruise Ship in Santorini, and staying three nights there. Then flying from Santorini to Istanbul for 3 night extension there.

Homeric is basically a facilitator which combines tours, cruises, and flights to meet your needs. This is a good way to arrange a trip if you can't find a prearranged trip to suit your desires. In general, they did a good job of creating the tour we wanted.
