My wife and I accidentally stumbled into this place and absolutely loved it. We liked it so much in fact that we ended up eating here 3 more times during our stay at a nearby hotel. The food was always delicious, and the service was... excellent as well. The place is very clean and classy inside. You can seat at the bar or at one of their tables. They have a nice "formula" for lunch of only 25E for appetizer + main course or main course + desert. If you want, you can get appetizer + main course + desert for only 30E, but only Mon-Fri for lunch. Otherwise you can get full "menu" - appetizer, main course, cheese course + desert for 38E. I tried their formula and menu several times, and it never disappointed. The food is nicely presented and tasted great. I tried fish, duck, even pigeon. Never thought I'd try a pigeon, but it was delicious. My wife wasn't crazy about a couple of desert options, but I liked them all. They will serve you tap water if you ask, and always lots of lots of fresh delicious bread. The service is very friendly and attentive. Overall this is my favorite restaurant in Paris. I'm very glad we got to experience it before they decided to shut down all restaurants in Paris because of COVID-19. Our visit wouldn't have been the same without this wonderful place. More

Considering it's in a very touristy location, Les Cocottes is very reasonably priced with great food and service. Had a very pleasant dinner where the razor clam entrée was excellent and with a very generous portion that I had rarely seen for these delicacies. The... squid ink risotto was also very good. The potatoes filled with a pig trotters are good though a bit rich as one can expect. The fennel flavoured ice-cream dessert by itself makes it worth visiting this friendly and modern restaurant. The day my girlfriend and I visited this restaurant we were exploring the Eiffel Tower and surrounding area. We were getting hungry for lunch and used TA to find a French restaurant near us. We didn’t need reservations and were warmly greeted by the staff.... Out meal was three course special which included potatoes stuffed with pigs feet, poached salmon, and a watermelon desert. Neither of us had ever eaten pigs feet but were open to trying new foods especially in France. The potatoes stuffed with pigs feet was very tasty. The pouched salmon was served cold with a mild sauce which was prefect because of the 100° temperature outside. We asked for a wine recommendation which paired nicely with the main dish. For dessert we had chilled watermelon resting in watermelon water with matching sorbet on top. The watermelon dish was so flavorful and refreshing for the hot day. Overall the experience was excellent. (The date of our visit was actually the end of July 2019.) More

We returned to Paris with one restaurant on our mind - a return visit to Les Cocottes. That is how good this restaurant was 4-5 years ago when we could not forget the memorable food. What a complete disappointment in 2020! The famous squid risotto... was NOTHING like it used to be ... the risotto tasted like store-bought rice, and the squid were bland tiny narrow strips of white leathery rubber laid on top. That was what was served in a small bowl for nearly 30 euros. It was so awful I had to return mine. And the lobster bisque was also a fraction of the delicacy it used to be here. The service sitting at the bar, despite 5 men milling about & whispering & smirking with each other the whole time, was cold & impersonal. The place presents itself as a kind of Urban casual modern dining place, but service was not up to the job at this Price level. My Ceasar salad was pretty boring with tasteless rubber chicken and a White sauce with very little taste. My steak... at 37 euros was not cooked to order, neither was it tender but did however have a decent flavour. I have had better steaks at half the price. The bearnaise was good but must have been hanging around for some time judging from the skin at the top. Fries were decent. I finished the meal with a good chocolate tarte and coffee. All in all huge disappointment with especially the steak. One of my friends was however, to be honest, very pleased with her meal. Waiters who were pushy and interrupted our conversation several times are really a no go More

Massive ripoff, mediocre food at best, and a tourist trap. Came to this restaurant for our last dinner in Paris after having an amazing meal here a few years ago and could not have been more disappointed. I ordered the daily special, a duck filet,... which was overcooked, dry, far too greasy, and entirely flavorless. This food is not cheap too, it was the most expensive meal I had in Paris and easily the worst. The staff didn’t do anything to make our experience any better after saying multiple times they’d “talk to the chef” and then pretend like nothing happened. It’s also worth noting that the atmosphere is awful and feels like sitting inside of a fast food restaurant (you might find a better atmosphere at your local McDonalds, and maybe some better food). Don’t waste your time or money. There’s plenty of great food in Paris, and gorgeous restaurants, this isn’t one of them. More

Worst steak I have had, the vast majority of the cut was just fat. I asked for the steak medium rare and even the leaner part of the steak was chewy. I spoke to a waiter who said he would get me a replacement. I... asked him for the replacement meal and he just brought out my steak which was warmed up and even more chewy. The manager spoke perfect English until there was a problem and then he seemed to struggle all of a sudden. He then said I wouldn’t be allowed a replacement meal. See photo for reference. I was tipped Les Cocottes by a French colleague. It was a good one. Les Cocottes is situated in a lively neighbourhood not too far from the Eiffel tower. The menu is rather classic, albeit the execution is a bit more modern. The same goes... for the interior which is fresh with a lot of wood and high chairs. The food was of good quality, but within expectation, pace of serving is high. Staff is very friendly and fast, and provided a good wine advise. Five stars to the staff. I thouht price - quality just in balance, a bit on the pricey side even though for Paris standards this probably will be reasonable. I would recommend and return if I had the opportunity. More

Had such a nice experience at this restaurant, it was my partners and I's anniversary and were very impressed with the food, drinks and service here. I had the langoustine ravioli which was amazing! highly recommend. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the Rum Baba dessert which... definitly was not lacking in Rum! I stumbled across this restaurant online and, as it is located in the neighborhood where I’m staying, decided to give it a try based on positive reviews. And so now I’m here to hopefully set the record straight: this restaurant is positively terrible. I ordered... lobster bisque to start, which had zero flavor (let alone lobster) and was loaded up with awful croutons and strange cheese. I ate 4 spoonfuls and hoped that it was an aberration, still optimistic about the fish special that had yet to appear. When it did come out it was this oily mess of fish served atop a massive pile of tasteless risotto. As I looked around I noticed that fellow diners also had plates before them that were swimming in grease. Particularly the steak, which seems to be a frequently ordered item. So if you’re visiting Paris and you have a finite number of meals to eat then this restaurant is a hard pass. I spent over 50 euros and consumed exactly 4 bites of food. Food was tastefully and good, offering lots of special choices and a day menu at democratic prices. Seating a bit tight and close to one another. Not really comfortable Service was friendly, a bit too quick... meaning one dish away the other one arrived. Portions... are not very big but ok for a normal person Overall a good find. More

We fell in love with this place on our first trip to Paris years ago. The experience and dishes were exquisite. This was now our fourth visit to Paris and saved Les Cocottes for our final evening as a special treat. Upon immediate arrival, we... spotted the remodel to the interior which now feels like a cheap sports bar vs the upscale michilan star chef restaurant it once was. I ordered the beef with bearnaise sauce as a main, the only side option was fries (no fresh vegetables). The piece of meat was grotesque and full of fat. It was near impossible to cut let alone chew. My husband ordered the fish that came with fried pasta with a piece of cheese melted on top (again, no vegetable option). We did not finish our meals and left hungry. We were very disappointed as it was clear the atmosphere, quality and menu had significantly changed from what it once was. It was not clear if the former chef, Christian Constant is still affiliated or not. More

The concept of this restaurant may seem simple, but the single pot dishes that come out of this kitchen are mind blowing and delicious in a way that you would never expect. Try them all, the Michelin star is well earned and you will not... regret anything you order. This is one of our favorite restaurants not just in Paris, but in all of Europe. More

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our last night in Paris. We were googling top places and thought this would be a good fit. Wow. Is all we have to say. We came in with no reservation in hopes of snagging a table. Thankfully they... had one available and we had the pleasure of having Panos as our server. What an incredible individual. He was kind, generous, and eager to make sure our last night in Paris was a memorable one. The food was incredible. After traveling for 8 days this was one of the best meals we experienced in our time abroad. Everything from the escargot to the dessert were outstanding and exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Panos for being so warm and making us immediately feel at home. Cannot recommend this place enough! Our only regret is that we didn’t find it sooner. More

This is an excellent and inviting restaurant near Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler. We stopped in on a Tuesday around 6pm without a reservation and were accommodated with two seats at the long bar. We love sitting at the bar, which often brings more conversation... with staff and a peak into inner workings. Our food, including steak frites and cod with vegetables in a slight stew, was delicious and well-presented. The chocolate pie was decadent. The restaurant is well-managed, with experienced staff guiding and directing newer staff toward perfection. Highly recommended. More

Madame Brasserie welcomes you on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower to take your tastebuds on an adventure. THE MACARON BAR Gourmet elegance from La Maison Pierre Hermé Paris

Located on the lower level of the second floor, the Macaron Bar presents two unique recipes, developed exclusively for the Eiffel Tower by Pierre Hermé. You can also discover and taste a selection of the Parisian chef’s celebrated macarons, which are also served in the Bistro on the first floor.

In 1889, four majestic wooden pavilions designed by Stephen Sauvestre occupied the first floor platform. Each restaurant could seat up to 500 guests.

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.
