XPO Tours exceptional customer service

We did a couple of tours among this one and the lady from XPO tours probably had a hard time with us, thousand and one question but she answered them all for us. The bus had a little delay and I contact Nancy from xpo tours and she replied immediately that there was a 15 minutes delay. The ride was excellent and there was so much to see on a single day ... amazing, just unbelievable ! Everything very well organized and professional, you can't go wrong with this tour. If you want to book everything in one place and have a great customer service then Nancy is the one. Thank you xpo tours and Nancy for a fantastic day.

Carlos was great. The half day Cenotes and Dolphin experience was well worth it. Since it was only a half day excursion it didn’t chew up too much of a 5 day vacation.

100 Carlos Gonzales was wonderful!! The snorkeling was my favorite! Timely and very friendly. Great for any age group!

Everything about this excursion was great. The price, the activities. the tour guides, the communication, the transportation the food!!!!. I would recommend! But why the poor rating? They have an insurance scam for using the ATVs, in order to get an $15 extra bucks out of you, they try and scare you with any damage that might occur from a wreck or fender bender while using the ATV. Well, you are riding an ATV, accidents are expected from time to time. They are designed to be rough machines. It should be included in the price if they are worried about damage. If they are concerned with ratings or how they are perceived this should be included in price and removed from onsite of the tour. I did not buy the extra insurance and I was worried the entire time they would point out a flaw that already existed and I would have to fight with them over it.Everything is great except for that deception. I encourage others to leave one stars until it is removed from their onsite location. Other than that it is worth it.

Had a fantastic day with punctual pick-up at our hotel and a nice ride to Chichen Itza. If you like Machu Pichu and Pyramids then you have to visit this place. On the way back we got to eat and swim at the Il Kill cenote, I think that's how you spell it, really amazing these natural cenotes. We were almost not able to do this tour as our hotel was not on their pickup list, but since I was in contact with Nancy from xpo tours mexico already she somehow managed to have our hotel included for booking within minutes and we got our confirmation. Can not say enough thank you for a great vacation, you and your team made us feel very special.

What a day! The ruins are spectacular, overlooking a white sand beach with turquoise water. Our tour guide, Cesar, was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts about the Mayan culture and history. Cesar has a great vibe, enjoys his work, and his enthusiasm is contagious. Our lunch at Frosty’s in Tulum, was delicious. The tour provides you the opportunity to order ahead of time so that your food is pretty much waiting for you after you’ve explored the ruins, which worked out perfectly. Swimming in the cenotes was an otherworldly experience. The water is so clear and refreshing. Cesar made a point to ask us to shower before swimming to remove our sunscreen in order to protect the fragile ecosystem of the cenotes, as they are all interconnected underground. Shout out to our driver, Julio, who was ready with a smile and a much-appreciated bottle of water each time we returned to the bus. Remember to bring cash to tip these wonderful people, pesos or USD. They do not have Venmo, but hopefully will get it soon. Can not recommend this tour highly enough. If you’re lucky, you’ll get Cesar and Julio!

My favorite was the cenote! It was absolutely breathtaking and we were ensured a delicious meal in a nearby restaurant. Definitely recommend! Try the jumping as well!!

Allan was a great tour operator. Prof Sami is a very enthusiastic guide while visiting the ruins. Chichen Itza: make sure that you use a hat and suncream. Not enough time to properly enjoy it. Arriving at the hottest hours. Add extra 30 us dollars once you booked cause you need to pay for admission. Cenote: you have to hire a life vest to swim in the cenote and a locker for your things. Add extra 40 pesos for life vest and 20 pesos for the locker for your budget. Lunch: great food. Valladolid: half an hour stay in the town. Enough time to get an icecream and enjoy the main square. Summary: if you wanna enjoy properly Chitzen Itza go by yourself. Not enough time to discover it. If you are just taking pictures to instagram and you wanna tell to people you have been there great. Pick up time should be earlier, this way people have time to properly discover the main feature of this tour. This trip should be advertised for 30 dollars extra since you will pay it anyway.

It is an all-inclusive service until what the agency handles. The entrance to Chichén Itzá is not included in the package because it is part of the taxes that the local government uses to maintain the archaeological zone. In the reservation pages we have specified that we do not include the entrance to Chichen Itza. Best regards!

We went on the Chichen Itza tour with Edwin as our guide and Jonas as our driver. It was a great day!!! It's long by the time you do the everything but well worth it. A group of 7 of us did a private tour and Edwin very much allowed us to set the pace for the day. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and made a good tour fantastic!

I can’t even start to describe how…

I can’t even start to describe how brutal this company is. Parcel was delayed two weeks with so many excuses it was beyond funny. Example delayed at customs called customs confirmed it was clear. Parcel was too heavy to be delivered. I advised I would go get it. They said oh wait they have someone to deliver it said when they said didn’t know

It has been four days

It has been four days, and the shipment still sits here on our loading dock. I have called XPO every day for three days and hear nothing but lies and excuses. "We will be there in 30 minutes," they say, and after 60 minutes I call back and am told the driver cannot make it. I call and remind them of our closing time and they say, "can you wait another 60 minutes?," and I agree: one hour goes by and I call back, they tell me "the driver is still 45 minutes away." Try another freight company that may be less bad. XPO is certainly one of the worst.

Useless manager

I was a driver for XPO contracted to the nisbets contract at Chepstow site, job was advertised as a 2 man crew, if a drivers mate was off they wouldn't help and get ajancy in, they would expect you to go out with items over 180k in weight, the manager would risk people's license by saying that she has given permission for them to drive over there maximum driving time for that day and she would take it off on the computer when they got back!!! I advised that driver not to do that, she's risking your license. That driver has now been suspended due to driving without his card in.... Obviously the manager denied everything. I'd think twice about working there....I work there from January 2023 to March 2024

Terrible Tracking System SLOW

I ordered a riding lawn mower from Tractor Supply. The initial delivery date I received was March 19, 2024 then it went to the 21st, then it went to the 29th, then down to the 26th now it's back at the 29th. The tracking system is a joke and I still don't have my lawnmower

I would do everything possible to stay…

I would do everything possible to stay away from this freight company. There’s no communication and your order will be late it’s in their buisness practices. They will cost you thousands to save themselves a buck. I lost over 4000 dollars because of this company. BY PASS THIS COMPANY AND GO ELESWHERE IF YOU WANT TOUR FREIGHT ON TIME.

Truly diabolical

Truly diabolical - I would say the left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing but in all honesty I think they are all down the pub laughing at the fact they cause misery to everyone who is forced to use their service - or complete and utter lack of . Worst company I have dealt with in 35 years but somehow they are still in business 😡

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Very poor. Why Homebase uses them is a mystery to me. 2 separate sets of tracking data (hyper links) provided on day of delivery simply didn't work, meaning a potential delivery anywhere from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. Landline number provided was still "answering calls in the order they are received" after 15 mins of having me on hold. AVOID!

Would give zero if I could

Would give zero if I could. Ordered through Homebase so couldn’t avoid XPO logistics I had never about the before. So they sent my order out late 2 weeks over the expected time and now the order from Homebase (12 packs of laminate flooring and 8 lengths of trim and 3 packs of underlay) is no good and trying to return oh what a joke this is. So XPO only deliver in my area on a Friday and Saturday. So contacted on Tuesday the 12th of March couldn’t collect on the Fri 15th or sat 16th so booked in for the Fri 22nd March. My husband stayed in got a text saying driver will be with us for 12 thought great plenty of time for them to collect they didn’t turned up until 2:42 my husband was at the school picking up our daughter and I was at work. Then when I called XPO to complain and try and re book for asap the women I spoke to said no when we texting saying we will be there at 12 doesn’t mean that means we will arrive between 12-7 I said well you need to make that clear in the texts because that is not said at all. She then said we can book you in for Fri 29th March. Absolutely feed up by this point. I ask the lady can you not put me on a list for any cancellations tomorrow as it’s a collection. She she no we have no collections. How do you know that until you get one. Sorry but lost the will by this point told her not to bother and I will contact Homebase customer service well that was just as bad. But never again will I use a company that use XPO logistics as a courier. Waiting over two weeks of expected delivery date and now be waiting over two weeks for them to collect for the time I contacted them and these are bulky items.

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible. Company kept changing delivery dates. When they did show up they only brought half the order. We spent hours on the phone trying to get them to keep their word but they just kept changing the date. If your purchase is time sensitive you won't get it on time.

Avoid if you can

Avoid if you can. I placed order through Homebase, so I had no choice. After 3 rescheduled deliveries kitchen tiles delivered, two weeks late, one box missing. Driver would not give me paperwork/machine to report missing box. Atrocious service

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. The drivers are a liability- our latest experience is when they hit our gate post - drove off. Thankfully we caught it on CCTV - they couldn’t deny it after pretending they didn’t hit our gatepost! They then tried to intimidate me into bodging a repair! Now we are locked into a battle to get a proper repair. Management aren’t management but cowboys - don’t trust XPO or any of their sub contractors.

Just dreadful

Just dreadful, if I could give zero stars I would. Was messed around with delivery dates (I actually wasted a days holiday from work to sit in and wait fir the delivery which never arrived) terrible communication. XPO were also tasked with installing the equipment being delivered. It's was so poorly installed, the manufacturer are now sending a service technician to try and rectify the damage. Avoid this company at ALL costs.

Worst ever service

If I could give zero start I would. Not only rudest drivers but customer service agent more worst. Driver reached 50 meters from delivery location but refused to turn lory to come via other street due to closed barrier. Requested so many times but insisted to reschedule delivery. Called customer services and agent attitude was insulting and hanged phone at end. Received call from goods supplier that transporter asked for charges to redelivery. Have to pay and waiting the items to be delivered

Communicative & efficient

Text service and tracker told me where my delivery was at, driver Grish rang ahead to let me know they were 15 minutes away. Everything was taken into my garage smoothly and efficiently and Grish was polite throughout. Could not have gone better

Appalling service with no sense of urgency

This company have faffed me around since 03/07/23. They finally arrived today, but did not have my delivery!!! I received a phone call from Leilla, I believe she said her name was; informing that my delivery has not even been booked for today. I am wondering why Homebase are now using this courier as opposed to their previous one. They are completely incapable of delivering!!!

Lazy and horrendous customer service

Two delivery men showed up with a delivery of about 30m2 of wooden flooring but refused to bring it to the door despite having a lift. Their ridiculous reasons were because it did not fit into the lift, yet somehow left me to move the flooring myself from the main entrance up to my 4th floor flat. Clearly just lazy and did not care.

Damaged a high tech case and product...asked me for support invoices and other materials...submitted multiple times proving the damage...finally got a response...stated my claim was denied because I didn't submit any documents to XPO...total travesty of a company...never use them..complete liying garbage...run away while you can. -100 rating

Xpo advertises a work from home…

Xpo advertises a work from home inspection specialist. It’s all a scam. They want your private information like address, identification, social security, and bank account information. They deliver to you stole items and have you repackage them. It’s a huge huge huge elaborate scam. The phone numbers and emails do not work. They never ever pay you. It’s a huge elaborate scam. They have big trucks going by in the city. This is one of the most advance scams to transport stolen items and to get away with identity theft.

If I could put zero stars I would. Dreadful company. Incomplete quotes, hidden charges and then bullying tactics to force you to pay. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs. Won’t extend payment terms despite them not providing accurate quote when requested and then charging double the quote provided. They will not shoulder any of the responsibility for the situation which would not have arisen if they’d provided an accurate quote in the first place. Avoid at all costs as they are incompetent bullies with no interest in helping their customers.

• About Zip-Lines: To ensure your protection and make sure the harnesses are comfortable and fit properly, a minimum weight of 40 kg (88 pounds) is required and a maximum weight of 136 kg (300 pounds) is allowed. The capacity in the harness circumference around the waist is 51 inches and 27 inches around each leg. The minimum height required for this activity is 1.40 mt.
• Amphibious vehicles:Only people over 18 years can drive the vehicles. It is essential that you present a valid ID proving your age.
• This expedition is restricted to pregnant women, people with heart problems, diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, hypertension and claustrophobia.
• Children must be at least 7 to enter the Park. Children between 7 and11 years of age pay child price. Must show official ID at the Parks ticket office.

Pick-up Information:

• Pick-up is available for hotels located in Cancun and Riviera Maya from Monday to Saturday from 3:30 pm y 4:30 pm. Your pick-up schedule will be sent by email after booking.
• In case we do not have pick-up service for a specific hotel or location, you will be asked to meet us at the nearest meeting point available.

Solar eclipse 2024: Photos from the path of totality and elsewhere in the U.S.

Images show the Great American Eclipse, seen by tens of millions of people in parts of Mexico, 15 U.S. states and eastern Canada for the first time since 2017.

Millions gathered across North America on Monday to bask in the glory of the Great American Eclipse — the moment when the moon passes between the Earth and the sun. 

The path of totality measures more than 100 miles wide and will first be visible on Mexico’s Pacific coast before moving northeast through Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois and upward toward New York, New Hampshire and Maine, then on to Canada.
