Welcome to the Callaway Junior Tour. The Tour is open to any boy or girl from 10 – 18 years of age as of June 1st of the current season.
Description
Each member is eligible to compete in a maximum of 12 regular season tournaments (Rookie League events do not count towards maximum). We are more than excited to welcome The Greenbrier Resort back onto the regular season schedule. We have 19 regular season events at the top golf courses in the state of WV with the Tour Championship being held on the Snead Course at The Greenbrier Resort’s Sporting Club, where the top players in each age group will play at the end of the season. Each member of the tour will receive a tour package containing a WVGA VIP card as well as several favors from Callaway Golf and other sponsors. No Membership refunds shall be granted after May 25th (certain circumstances apply). A 48 hour Tournament withdraw notice must be given to Lucas if at all possible, and all withdrawals must be in email. See website for all WVGA policies. There will be a $8.00 service fee for all refunds.

Callaway Junior Tour opens 2023 season at Edgewood Country Club
Isaac Hayes of Hurricane, playing in the 13-14 division, scored a one under par 70 on his way to winning the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for boys. Kerri-Anne Cook of Oceana won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for girls.
“We had some of the best junior golfers in the state on our course today,” said Edgewood’s Heald Golf Professional Craig Berner. “It’s good exposure for these young golfers and for Edgewood Country Club, and we love to support young golfers, especially at WVGA event, in honor of Larry Martin.”
Highlights of the day included three birdies for Nik Tomblin of Alum Creek and two birdies each for Cole Darnold of St. Mary’s and Ben Marsh of Summersville.
“Today was a great day for golf and Edgewood is always challenging for the players, regardless of age,” said WVGA Tournament Manager – Youth Operations Lucas Ware.
Division winners were:
- Boys 12 & under: Jude Walker of Mount Zion;
- Boys 13-14: Isaac Hayes of Hurricane;
- Boys 15-16: Carson O’Dell of Hurricane;
- Boys 17-18: Nik Tomblin of Alum Creek;
- Girls 10-14: Madilyn Buttrey of Williamstown; and
- Girls 15-18: Kerri-Anne Cook of Oceana.

2023 tri-state cup standings.
In efforts to promote High School golf and to support existing high school tournaments, The Callaway Junior Tour will conduct the Callaway Junior Tour High School Series presented by Tri State Roofing and Sheet Metal.
To promote girls golf in West Virginia, once the entry deadline has passed and if the event has not reached capacity, teams that wish to bring extra female golfers who are not in their top 4 to play may do so, however these scores will not count toward the team total. Any girl who is a part of the High School team is eligible, we will limit the number of extra girls at two (2) per team, however more may come if the field is not at capacity. Coaches must email request to Chris Slack to see if spots are available.
