While climbing the mountains

Maybe they are collecting paid (bot or otherwise) reviews. Note: there are two identical (100% - word by word - identical describing an incident with specific details) reviews, from two diferent people (diferent names and different locations) with a few months of difference. I find it hard to believe this was not paid fake reviews, but you never know. for you to judge... additions post vendors reply: please see the reply of the vendor for completeness. In the end of February, I travelled to Spain with my family and encountered a medical emergency when my son sprained his ankle while hiking. False promises

I booked 5 weeks insurance for USA which costed around 2500$ for me and family. I was under the impression that they cover any medical emergency. During my stay my son got ear infection and I sent all the documents requiring refund since their company name not listed in any US hospital and medical centers which make me thing that they are fraud or not real company!! The refund I asked for is 180$ which is nothing compared to what I paid . They informed me that the file will be processed and take 20 business day maximum and today we passed the 20 days and they are not even replying to my emails !!!?

Sadly luggage was never delivered, and After 10 weeks of chasing eventually came up with non sense that they would not cover the lost airline luggage. WORST! My family just got denied from the flight and and to rebook 4 days after. So we are trying to edit the duration but told us that is not allowed since it already taken effect. How stupid! Paying for something that you havent even used coz of the rebooking. We are not even asking for cancellation. And another thing, our 3rd person was a BABY. Not even 2 yrs old. For this we ASKED for cancellation but also cannot. And the funny part, only offered A DISCOUNT if we intend to buy a new insurance. $155 USD IS NO JOKE! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Potential Credit Card Fraud

I was originally going to use this insurance for my travel and entered my card details, however, before actually pressing purchase I decided to check reviews. After reading the reviews I decided to go against it. A couple of hours later I had a call asking if I want to go ahead with the policy or not, I refused. After that I was receiving OTP requests for large and small purchase amounts which I did not make. This was the only site I have attempted to make a purchase or entered a card number in for over a week. Be very aware before using this site.

It includes the amount of your insurance policy (smaller amount) and the coverage amount (large amount) that will cover your expenses in case of illness during your trip. Everything you selected on the website is included, nothing more. a huge scam

I purchased this insurance to apply for a European Schengen visa, but the embassy responded that this company did not meet the visa application requirements. So I contacted their customer service through the telegram method provided by the website. Customer service actually asked me to provide my passport photo. I don't think this is a reasonable request. Passport photos are very sensitive information. I said that I could provide all the information I had when purchasing insurance, receipts, and a reply from the embassy. But they refused to refund me before my insurance was in effect. Highly do not recommend this company, I suspect it is a scam. By the way I didn't get my refund which was about AU$85

ALERT EKTA IS A BIG SCAM! The team is a mess in EKTA, they have poor management and miscoordination! They asked for a wrong documents, keeping me on waiting for 5 months with tones of excuses every time I follow up, then it turned out that the document was wrong and now they are delaying and saying there’s no staff to assist! It looks like they don’t want to give me my money back, but this message will save others money. It was a mistake buying an insurance from this company! Dear Customer, While generating insurance policy, we mention it's real price. According to this price, we create payment order. You can see policy price in invoice currency right before the payment. We do not charge any extra fees. At the same time, if invoice currency is different from account currency, double conversion is possible. Such conversion is done by your bank automatically. This process lies at the side of payment processing centres and banks and we, as an insurance company, cannot influence it. As well as receive extra income out of it. Horrible company

Horrible company Scam definition: An illegal way of making money by tricking people. I am supposed to travel for Romania on July 17th. I purchased the insurance from this company and it was a total mess from start to end. 1. They sent me the insurance for another individual. 2. That caused me to buy the insurance from another company 3. I asked my money back and they miraculously generated the "right" insurance which is nothing but a piece of paper that cannot be used in any hospital 4. They of course refused to pay me back the money This company is a fraud, a scam, they don't post any details about how the insurance can be used in hospitals and who will pay, their documents are a joke, the insurance paper is completely useless. I'm shocked that they're still active on the market.

Be warned: They display prices in US dollars and charge you hryvnias eventually instead. The (double) currency conversion might cost you up to 40%!! Fondy payments: "The difference between the amount on the payment page and the actual write-off amount from the client account may be the result of a variance between the Ukrainian commercial exchange rate and the commercial exchange rate of the payer’s issuing bank. This variance can be up to 30%. It can also be higher by another 10% due to currency risk fees of the foreign banks during the currency operation process...The amounts differ due to the difference between the Ukrainian commercial exchange rate and the commercial exchange rate of your bank. Also, due to the war in Ukraine, some foreign banks may include currency risk fees for Ukrainian payment processes by undervaluing the UAH exchange rate."

Lontano da questa assicurazione, sul loro sito ektatraveling mostrano che hanno 4,9 di ratings con 1030 recensioni su Trustpilot in realtà ne hanno 58 con 3,6 (59 con la mia adesso). Mostrano il pagamento in dollari poi con un doppio passaggio ti fanno pagare in valuta Ukraina, il prezzo risulta del 20%più alto rispetto al cambio dollaro/euro. Mostrano la possibilità dell’utilizzo di whatsapp ma il numero non esiste. Dicono di avere 2174 recensioni su google ma ne hanno solo 33. Purtroppo mi sono accorto solo dopo aver pagato della inaffidabilità della compagnia, ovviamente non mi rimborseranno. Ma voi Salvatevi non fate come me! WORST! My family just got denied from the flight and and to rebook 4 days after. So we are trying to edit the duration but told us that is not allowed since it already taken effect. How stupid! Paying for something that you havent even used coz of the rebooking. We are not even asking for cancellation. And another thing, our 3rd person was a BABY. Not even 2 yrs old. For this we ASKED for cancellation but also cannot. And the funny part, only offered A DISCOUNT if we intend to buy a new insurance. $155 USD IS NO JOKE! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Potential Credit Card Fraud

I was originally going to use this insurance for my travel and entered my card details, however, before actually pressing purchase I decided to check reviews. After reading the reviews I decided to go against it. A couple of hours later I had a call asking if I want to go ahead with the policy or not, I refused. After that I was receiving OTP requests for large and small purchase amounts which I did not make. This was the only site I have attempted to make a purchase or entered a card number in for over a week. Be very aware before using this site.

It includes the amount of your insurance policy (smaller amount) and the coverage amount (large amount) that will cover your expenses in case of illness during your trip. a huge scam

I purchased this insurance to apply for a European Schengen visa, but the embassy responded that this company did not meet the visa application requirements. So I contacted their customer service through the telegram method provided by the website. Customer service actually asked me to provide my passport photo. I don't think this is a reasonable request. Passport photos are very sensitive information. I said that I could provide all the information I had when purchasing insurance, receipts, and a reply from the embassy. But they refused to refund me before my insurance was in effect. Highly do not recommend this company, I suspect it is a scam. By the way I didn't get my refund which was about AU$85

ALERT EKTA IS A BIG SCAM!

ALERT EKTA IS A BIG SCAM! The team is a mess in EKTA, they have poor management and miscoordination! They asked for a wrong documents, keeping me on waiting for 5 months with tones of excuses every time I follow up, then it turned out that the document was wrong and now they are delaying and saying there’s no staff to assist! It looks like they don’t want to give me my money back, but this message will save others money. It was a mistake buying an insurance from this company! Be careful! if you want travel in peace "PICK ANOTHER COMPANY!"

Bewahre Making the insurance......they give the price.....to be changed by visa. From Dollar to Euro. But instead they convert to a much higher rip-off rate...... 201 Dollar they want 230 Euro. Despite i pay the Bill in Dollar with as agreed in contract. Careful........ and did not tell the higer price..... and where in Ucraine you suposed to be? can not find your real Adress in Ucraine...... Indian Scammers? Dear Customer, While generating insurance policy, we mention it's real price. According to this price, we create payment order. You can see policy price in invoice currency right before the payment. We do not charge any extra fees. At the same time, if invoice currency is different from account currency, double conversion is possible. Such conversion is done by your bank automatically. This process lies at the side of payment processing centres and banks and we, as an insurance company, cannot influence it. As well as receive extra income out of it. Hope we clarified your feedback.

Horrible company

Horrible company Scam definition: An illegal way of making money by tricking people. I am supposed to travel for Romania on July 17th. I purchased the insurance from this company and it was a total mess from start to end. 1. They sent me the insurance for another individual. 2. That caused me to buy the insurance from another company 3. I asked my money back and they miraculously generated the "right" insurance which is nothing but a piece of paper that cannot be used in any hospital 4. They of course refused to pay me back the money This company is a fraud, a scam, they don't post any details about how the insurance can be used in hospitals and who will pay, their documents are a joke, the insurance paper is completely useless. I'm shocked that they're still active on the market.

Be warned: They display prices in US dollars and charge you hryvnias eventually instead. The (double) currency conversion might cost you up to 40%!! Fondy payments: "The difference between the amount on the payment page and the actual write-off amount from the client account may be the result of a variance between the Ukrainian commercial exchange rate and the commercial exchange rate of the payer’s issuing bank. This variance can be up to 30%. It can also be higher by another 10% due to currency risk fees of the foreign banks during the currency operation process...The amounts differ due to the difference between the Ukrainian commercial exchange rate and the commercial exchange rate of your bank. Also, due to the war in Ukraine, some foreign banks may include currency risk fees for Ukrainian payment processes by undervaluing the UAH exchange rate."

Lontano da questa assicurazione, sul loro sito ektatraveling mostrano che hanno 4,9 di ratings con 1030 recensioni su Trustpilot in realtà ne hanno 58 con 3,6 (59 con la mia adesso). Mostrano il pagamento in dollari poi con un doppio passaggio ti fanno pagare in valuta Ukraina, il prezzo risulta del 20%più alto rispetto al cambio dollaro/euro. Mostrano la possibilità dell’utilizzo di whatsapp ma il numero non esiste. Dicono di avere 2174 recensioni su google ma ne hanno solo 33. Purtroppo mi sono accorto solo dopo aver pagato della inaffidabilità della compagnia, ovviamente non mi rimborseranno. Ma voi Salvatevi non fate come me! Far from this insurance, on their website ektatraveling they show that they have 4.9 ratings with 1030 reviews on trustpilot actually they have 58 with 3.6 (59 with mine now). They show the payment in dollars then with a double pass they make you pay in Ukrainian currency, the price is 20% higher than the dollar / euro exchange. They show the possibility of using whatsapp but the number does not exist. They say they have 2174 reviews on google but they only have 33. Unfortunately, I only realized after paying that the company was unreliable, obviously they won't refund me. But you can Save yourselves!

I have already taken out travel insurance at EKTA several times. Unfortunately, I had to use it once. I really liked the operator's service! Everything is fast and efficient. I purchased this insurance to apply for a European Schengen visa, but the embassy responded that this company did not meet the visa application requirements. So I contacted their customer service through the telegram method provided by the website. Customer service actually asked me to provide my passport photo. I don't think this is a reasonable request. Passport photos are very sensitive information. I said that I could provide all the information I had when purchasing insurance, receipts, and a reply from the embassy. But they refused to refund me before my insurance was in effect. Highly do not recommend this company, I suspect it is a scam. By the way I didn't get my refund which was about AU$85

ALERT EKTA IS A BIG SCAM! The team is a mess in EKTA, they have poor management and miscoordination! They asked for a wrong documents, keeping me on waiting for 5 months with tones of excuses every time I follow up, then it turned out that the document was wrong and now they are delaying and saying there’s no staff to assist! It looks like they don’t want to give me my money back, but this message will save others money. It was a mistake buying an insurance from this company! Be careful! if you want travel in peace "PICK ANOTHER COMPANY!"

Scam .They charge more than in Internet and on there bill written

Bewahre Making the insurance......they give the price.....to be changed by visa. From Dollar to Euro. But instead they convert to a much higher rip-off rate...... 201 Dollar they want 230 Euro. Despite i pay the Bill in Dollar with as agreed in contract. Careful........ and did not tell the higer price..... and where in Ucraine you suposed to be? can not find your real Adress in Ucraine...... Indian Scammers? Due to Trustpilot Screenshot you are not Uranian Insurance not eaven in Trustpilot this insurance is from Ucraine. ....English webadress with traces to India........ not Ucraine About EKTA Insurance Company Update....you are not eaven on the accepted list by Philippines Imigration.....So your Insurance is wortless.

Dear Customer, While generating insurance policy, we mention it's real price. According to this price, we create payment order. You can see policy price in invoice currency right before the payment. We do not charge any extra fees. At the same time, if invoice currency is different from account currency, double conversion is possible. Such conversion is done by your bank automatically. This process lies at the side of payment processing centres and banks and we, as an insurance company, cannot influence it. As well as receive extra income out of it. Hope we clarified your feedback.

Horrible company

Horrible company Scam definition: An illegal way of making money by tricking people. I am supposed to travel for Romania on July 17th. I purchased the insurance from this company and it was a total mess from start to end. 1. They sent me the insurance for another individual. 2. That caused me to buy the insurance from another company 3. I asked my money back and they miraculously generated the "right" insurance which is nothing but a piece of paper that cannot be used in any hospital 4. They of course refused to pay me back the money This company is a fraud, a scam, they don't post any details about how the insurance can be used in hospitals and who will pay, their documents are a joke, the insurance paper is completely useless. I'm shocked that they're still active on the market.

write-off amount currency exchange rate up to 40%!!

Be warned: They display prices in US dollars and charge you hryvnias eventually instead. The (double) currency conversion might cost you up to 40%!! Fondy payments: "The difference between the amount on the payment page and the actual write-off amount from the client account may be the result of a variance between the Ukrainian commercial exchange rate and the commercial exchange rate of the payer’s issuing bank. This variance can be up to 30%. It can also be higher by another 10% due to currency risk fees of the foreign banks during the currency operation process...The amounts differ due to the difference between the Ukrainian commercial exchange rate and the commercial exchange rate of your bank. Also, due to the war in Ukraine, some foreign banks may include currency risk fees for Ukrainian payment processes by undervaluing the UAH exchange rate."

Lontano da questa assicurazione, sul loro sito ektatraveling mostrano che hanno 4,9 di ratings con 1030 recensioni su Trustpilot in realtà ne hanno 58 con 3,6 (59 con la mia adesso). Mostrano il pagamento in dollari poi con un doppio passaggio ti fanno pagare in valuta Ukraina, il prezzo risulta del 20%più alto rispetto al cambio dollaro/euro. Mostrano la possibilità dell’utilizzo di whatsapp ma il numero non esiste. Dicono di avere 2174 recensioni su google ma ne hanno solo 33. Purtroppo mi sono accorto solo dopo aver pagato della inaffidabilità della compagnia, ovviamente non mi rimborseranno. Ma voi Salvatevi non fate come me! They deserve a good review

For many reasons I didn't buy a travel insurance with EKTA, but I can tell you that I was able to have answers to all my questions. I contacted them threw whatsapp, mails, and they called me more than once. I think it's not without reason they have so many good evaluations.

Hi we lost our luggage. Already submit all the required documents for the claim. But EKTA not responding. It’s a scam. We pay premium insurance policy for the travel insurance but no one help .

I have already taken out travel insurance at EKTA several times. Unfortunately, I had to use it once. I really liked the operator's service! Everything is fast and efficient. I was booked to see a doctor, despite the fact that it was a day off. They were always in touch and informed on all emerging issues. When I returned home, I contacted the insurance company and received compensation for the treatment as quickly as possible. Satisfied with the work of the company!
