Very happy trip, the scenery on the road is OK, the park is very exquisite, the elephant route scenery is not very good, but I have experienced the feeling of riding an elephant. Many friends resist riding an elephant. I have this few feelings. This elephant camp has a dozen elephants. The master who rides the elephant is very kind to the elephant. The elephant walks for a while and rests for a while. We have up to two tourists. The elephant riding master estimates that nearly 240 kilograms is enough. It is estimated that the large-weight tourists will have a position of their own. For several tons of elephants, it is like we carry 20 or 30 pounds of rice. The elephants in the garden do not feel abused. There is definitely no freedom for African wild elephants, but compared to all the elephants in the zoo, it is similar. It is stronger than the average zoo elephants. You can also come out for a stroll. Riding elephants feels that there is no pressure on animals to ride horses. I specially bought some banana-flavored elephants. The rider did not deliberately ask for a tip. It was to sell some small accessories. Although it was fake, the price was 200 baht. It was OK to buy a souvenir for the child. It was also possible to bargain. It was not good to talk too much. Generally speaking, riding an elephant is still a good feeling, but one time is enough. 1000 baht per person, did not buy a package, there are other animal shows, it feels similar, there is no more money, take the children to ride around ATV3500 baht, one hour, there is a special person to take, OK, see the pineapple garden, know what the pineapple hour is like, not bad experience

Hua Hin Safari 

& adventure park.

Hua Hin Safari and Adventure Park is a relatively new setup just twenty minutes outside Hua Hin. It is in the middle of some lush countryside, down rather small poorly kept roads and does not seem to get that many visitors. Despite this, the venue is continually breeding and expanding, building new areas for the tigers. The setup is very professional and the place appears managed well on an aesthetic level. There aren't just tigers here however, the park also has elephants for riding and a small zoo containing a giraffe, macaws and various monkeys and gibbons.

Tourist Interactions?

Cages/enclosures.

Each area comprised of an outside area and also a hidden den or night room

Each contained a pond for bathing

Enclosures contained grass and other natural vegetation

Only enrichment were logs

No areas to hide from the public when the tigers were locked out of night rooms

All were very clean

Cages are cement floored

Physical & Mental Health

There were a number of white tigers, ligers and golden tigers indicating inbreeding and inter-species breeding was present

Mixed species groupings were kept

Declawing was performed in at least the show animals

Cubs were chained even in the enclosure whilst waiting for tourists

Body condition for most was good

A few eye problems noted - cataract and crossed eyes

Some limping was observed

Very few observations of any stereotypies of tigers in enclosures though some pacing was observed

Tigers in the show on the other hand showed the usual fear/distrust of the handler

Other tigers showed friendly, curious or disinterested behaviour

Amazing Hua Hin Safari and Adventure Park is situated not far from the center of Hua Hin. Guests of the Park can enjoy famous Thai entertainments, such as elephant trekking, elephant show, snake show, as well as four-wheeler rides. Hua Hin Safari and Adventure Park is located in Tambon Tubtai of Prachuap Khirikhan open daily form 08:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs.

A fantastic family experience. The staff were friendly. I didn't approve of the handling of the snakes and crocodiles but it was definitely worth a visit and worth the money. If possible do the transfer as it'll cost you 200b each way by grab. Photos are extra 200b each but they will take pictures with your phone. Stunning countryside and amazing experience.

The best animal show in Hua Hin. Tigers're adorable and well-trained. We bought discounted e-ticket to get good deal for family. It's a bit pricy!, however It's worth to pay for first elephant ride as well.
