Attracting about 4.95 million foreign visitors (2017’s data by Hanoi Tourism Department), Hanoi Capital City impresses visitors by the capital of thousand golden year culture of Vietnam . This long history city is widely known as one of the most well aged and preserved through over 1000 years. Until now, Hanoi still remains the ancient architectural style though houses in the old quarter have been commercialized for the business purposes. The other things that make Hanoi special is that Hanoi is the only capital city in the South- East Asia reserves the state president’s mausoleum and travelers can visit him when they are in Hanoi easily. Besides, there are many things attract tourists to visit such as Long Bien Bridge (over 100 years old), Hoa Lo Prison (Hilton House), Temple of Literature , Bat Trang pottery village , Hoan Kiem Lake , Ngoc Son Temple and many many different kind of museums. Deep in the heart of Brazil is the number one hotel, Hotel Colline de France . This French-inspired, 34-suite boutique hotel is located in the mountain town of Gramado. The property has the most 5-star reviews of any other listing on the site. Many travelers note the service and attention “I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service,” says one 5-star reviewer, another says, “This is a fairy tale not a hotel. Elegant, charming and everything is close to perfection.”

The Shore Hotel is the No. 1 hotel in the United States. The eco-friendly boutique property is located in Santa Monica, Calif., and offers stunning ocean views. Guests love the contemporary property and the personal attention from the staff. Reviewers are enthusiastic about the property saying, “By far the best service we have had at a hotel,” and “The staff pampered us and made sure every minute of our stay was handled with care.”

Just goes to show how little Google knows.

'Google tells me I need 2-3 weeks to explore all Poland' You may want to decide how much time you want to travel in Poland rather than rely on a data mining company incidentally acting as a search engine.

'Skyscanner does not give me the choice to find the cheapest place of Europe to fly from' Skyscanner offers results from rather unreliable third party booking sites (kiwi.com, Opodo, eDreams etc) at the top of their search results because those third party sites pay Skyscanner to show their results first.

Choose the airline you'd like to fly with and book directly with them rather than through any third party site. Better yet, try Trailfinders, who still have brick and mortar High Street branches, and ask them to find an inexpensive flight to BKK from a European departure city. Departing from Bucharest may offer some cheaper options, but you'll need to make your way from Poland to that city as well.

Planning a Dollywood vacation? These East Tennessee inns were ranked among Tripadvisor's 'best of the best'

I f you're getting ready to plan your summer getaway, chances are you'll turn to a travel site like Tripadvisor to garner some lodging ideas − although (shameless self-promotion here) Knox News did an excellent job last year of rounding up options in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg .

If you really want the cream of the crop from Tripadvisor, however, the travel website just released its  2024 Travelers’ Choice Awards  for the Best of the Best Hotels. According to the website, the picks are among the top 1% based on a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions over a 12-month period.

Two Sevierville spots named top inns in United States

There are a lot of lodging choices out there for folks heading to Dollywood or the Great Smoky Mountains. But Tripadvisor's reviewers propelled two Sevierville spots into the top 25 B&Bs or inns in the country.

Berry  Springs Lodge  ranked No. 12, with Tripadvisor stating, "You'll find yourself surrounded by natural beauty in a peaceful mountain setting. The well-appointed accommodations are both spacious and cozy, with large stone showers and thoughtful extras. ... With a family-friendly atmosphere, exceptional cleanliness, and accommodating staff, this unique bed and breakfast experience truly stands out."

Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and Cottages  was ranked No. 18. The "unique mountain retreat" offers "comfy accommodations ranging from cozy rooms to spacious cottages, each with charming decor and modern amenities," Tripadvisor states. "There's plenty of activities to keep you entertained, like hiking, horseback riding, or just relaxing on the wrap-around porch. ... The serene pond with a fountain adds a touch of tranquility, making this country inn a perfect spot for unwinding in style."
