We organize a range of tours and safaris inlcuding wildlife safaris, primates tours including gorilla & chimp trekking, birding, hiking & mountaineering, cultural experiences, city tours & adventures such as rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, and fishing trips among others.

The team at African Adventure Travellers boasts of years of experience and extensive knowledge of operating successful safaris and tours. From the time of your booking with us, our expert travel consultants shall guide you in selecting and customizing the best itinerary that suits your wishes. From the moment of pick-up from the airport or residence, your assigned personal driver guide shall see to it you enjoy your safari and ensure safety throughout. The well being of our clients is of paramount importance to us.

Our Safari Representatives shall meet you upon arrival at the airport and welcome you and brief you on your forthcoming safari. Also you can request to meet our representatives at your residence or hotel if you so wish to discuss further regarding a safari with us.

Mugabe Robert - CEO & Senior Travel Consultant

Born & raised in the Kabaka's (King of Buganda) palace of Mengo, Robert's passion for travel and adventure can be traced as far back. At such a tender age of only 14 he was in charge of guiding tourists at the palace. He has had his tourism education in Egland & training in South Africa. He is incredibly knowledgable on several aspects of African travel and for him travelling has been a way of life.

Tobias Kimmich - Global Travel Expert, Germany

Born & raised in the Black Forest Area, southwest in Germany. Travelling became his passion since 2001, when he traveled the first time abroad to the United Sates at the age of 17. Since then, he traveled apart from Europe all over the world: South America, Central America, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He combined working with traveling as he worked abroad for several years.

In Africa he traveled several times to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Kenya. He supports local travel agencies which are working ecologically oriented and his passion is adventure in the wild nature. As his wife, Irene Waithaka, is from Kenya, he explored every little corner of East Africa.

He is very open-minded towards other cultures and traveling with Tobias will be a unforgettable experience with a lot of stories and entertainment.

Nakiganda Sarah - Reservations & Sales Manager

Ssenyonga Moses - IT Manager

Ssenyonga Moses holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Makerere University. He is a well-trained and skilled software engineer with wide training in Computer Programming, Data Processing and Management, Systems Administration and Maintenance. He plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates the acquisition, development and maintenance of the company systems and many other duties.

Nuwagaba Isaac - Assistant IT Manager

Nuwagaba Isaac is an extreme Specialist in I.C.T, holds a Bachelor of Information Communication Technology from Mbarara University. He stands at the forefront of the fastest moving technology industry trend: cloud services, With a successful experience in full life cycle, he has built a reputation for developing business strategies, incubating new business models, and building out channel programs, maintaining the Company systems among others.

Moses Rahim - Senior Driver Guide

His experience & down-to-earth character make Moses one of the best driver guides you can ever have. He is well travelled & equipped with wide knowledge of African wilds.

Safari Fleet

We have our own custom-made safari vehicles fitted with high roof for utmost views more so during game drives. They are well maintained in their top most conditions and are serviced before and after every outing. Please note due to the poor conditions of some of our roads, any car is susceptible to breakdown, or encounter a problem along the way. However we have shipped in new cars & ensure they are well maintained. This has significantly reduced on car problems. The governments are also investing heavily in infrastructure and expect to have zero car problems at African Adventure Travellers Ltd.
