Make car simulator more real

I love the game so much but I would really love it if ya made it more realistic and make everything real in the houses and make it make the game more realistic to gta, not everything but the graphics add families more houses, and add tow trucks you can put cars on the tow truck and a trailer and add keys and also do things you can do in real life and more at a grocery store make the cars more real there are people in your cars and also you can do a lot of stuff you can sit on the couch you can watch tv people can come to your house and also fix the garages you can hit the remote to open and close and more stuff I talked to a lot of people and they recommend all this stuff to maybe you guys can find somebody so work with so all this stuff we all want actually happens and also be creative Thank you I would really appreciate it if all this stuff can actually happened Thank you people in my family will also enjoy all of this stuff too Thank you.

I really and I mean really love everything that’s already in it, especially there’s electric cars now. But I would I really really really appreciate if you added more cars like normal Benz suvs/sedans, more Hondas (especially the truck and the suvs, more Toyotas (especially the Tacoma or the tundra), the entire Tesla family (and you should upgrade the current model s to a plaid and make everything else a plaid/performance too), Volvos, more bmw sedans, Nissans, Acuras, and more Ferraris would be great. I would also like to have more electric/hybrid cars, and include Tesla charging stations as well as other charging stations. You should also add normal houses we could live in also city’s, rural areas, even a real cemetery. Also if you could you can add restaurants where we can actually order, the inside of the police station and more police stations, and also the mafia house. Also, a job might work too. If and only if you can, I would like you to add other vehicles, such as planes, helicopters, boats, and even motorcycles! Thanks very much! I would appreciate this forever!

NORWALK, Conn. ( WFSB /Gray News) - A man faces charges after police pulled him over for driving with a baby on his lap and a loaded gun and marijuana in the car on Sunday.

“A patrol officer observed a man driving around with a baby on his lap,” said Norwalk Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts. “The officer pulled the car over and did not see an infant car seat anywhere in the car.”

The officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana in the car that 26-year-old Naud Rodriguez was driving.

“Officers searched the car which led to the discovery of .762 pounds of marijuana and a Sig Sauer P365 loaded handgun,” Evarts said.

WAIKOLOA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii Island police are investigating a car crash in Waikoloa on Saturday that left two elderly women dead, said Hawaii Island police officials.

Police officials say the incident happened around 11:40 a.m. when a KIA SUV was heading east (mauka) on Waikoloa Road, near the 3-mile-marker, when the car crossed over the center line and struck a Chevrolet SUV head-on traveling west.

Officials say The driver of the Kia, 72-year-old Lynn Capell of Waimea, was transported to the North Hawaii Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 3:17 p.m.

Police say a 75-year-old man from Washington who was operating the Chevrolet and the front seat passenger, a 77-year-old man from Alabama, were also transported to the North Hawaii Community Hospital for further treatment.

Authorities say the right rear passenger of the Chevrolet, 79-year-old Eugenia Taylor, from Alabama, was unresponsive at the scene and transported to the Kona Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m.

Officials say a third vehicle veered off the road onto lava rock to avoid the crash. The Chevrolet Equinox’s driver and three passengers were uninjured, but the car was rendered inoperable.

Currently, police believe that speed and inattention are factors in the crash.

Officials say autopsies have been ordered to determine the exact causes of death.

The deaths of these two women are the 13th & 14th traffic fatalities in the 13 weeks of 2024, compared to 5 at this time last year.

How the Key Bridge Collapsed in Baltimore: Maps and Photos

On Tuesday, a major bridge in Baltimore collapsed into the water seconds after it was struck by a cargo ship, sending vehicles on the bridge into the river below. The ship lost power and issued a mayday call shortly before it hit the bridge.

The ship, a 948-foot-long cargo vessel called Dali, was about a half hour into its journey toward Colombo, Sri Lanka, when it hit a main pillar of the bridge. All crew members are safe, according to the ship’s owners.

A mayday call from the ship gave officials enough time to stop traffic at both ends of the bridge. The waters where the bridge collapsed are about 50 feet deep. By Tuesday morning, six construction workers who had been fixing potholes on the bridge remained missing as divers and other emergency workers on boats and helicopters continued to search for them. Two others had been rescued, and one was in the hospital.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge was opened in 1977 and carried more than 12.4 million vehicles last year. The bridge was one of the three major ways to cross the Patapsco River and formed part of Baltimore’s beltway.

The Port of Baltimore is a major trade hub that handled a record amount of foreign cargo last year. It is an especially important destination — the nation’s largest by volume last year — for deliveries of cars and light trucks.

Overall, Baltimore was the 17th biggest port in the United States in 2021, ranked by total tons, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. The bridge collapse brought marine traffic there to a standstill, with seven cargo or tanker ships stranded in the harbor as of Tuesday afternoon.

Gov. Wes Moore declared a state of emergency for Maryland and said that his office was in close communication with Pete Buttigieg, the U.S. transportation secretary. The White House issued a statement saying that President Biden had been briefed on the collapse.

What we know about Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse

The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed early Tuesday after being hit by a cargo ship, with large parts of the bridge falling into the Patapsco River.

At least eight people fell into the water, members of a construction crew working on the bridge at the time, officials said. Two were rescued, one uninjured and one in serious condition, and two bodies were recovered on Wednesday. The remaining four are presumed dead. The workers are believed to be the only victims in the disaster.

11 landmark Detroit innovations

Big on brawn, short on brains. That’s the stereotypical criticism of classic American cars, which are often seen as being lazy, outdated and inefficient next to their European cousins.

That’s not true, of course, and the US car industry has given us plenty of innovations over the years. Indeed, some were so forward-thinking that it took the rest of the world decades to catch up.

Here, then, are 11 game-changing car innovations from the United States.

1. Cruise control

Frustrated by his lawyer’s inability to drive at a constant speed on a straight empty road, inventor Ralph Teetor conceived cruise control in the 1940s – though it would be a full decade before it made it to production on the 1958 Imperial.

It was a simple idea: the driver twisted a dial located in the center of the instrument panel to select the required speed between 30 and 80mph and the car would would take over.

This Auto-Pilot system could also work as a speed limiter, or more precisely, speed reminder; choose a speed and the car would warn you if you were in danger of crossing it by increasing the accelerator pedal resistance.

2. Self-dipping lights

Headlights that switch on automatically at night and dip the beam in the face of oncoming traffic have only recently made on to the spec lists of modern European cars. 

But some American cars were fitted with the technology back when Brits were still buying butter with their ration books.

GM’s automatic light-dipping gadget was called Autronic Eye and worked via a strange pod mounted on the dash top that housed a light-sensing phototube.

By the mid-1950s GM had introduced Twilight Sentinel, a companion system that switched the headlights on and off depending on ambient light conditions.

3. Electric starter

Early cars were started via a handle that turned the crankshaft, which wasn’t just tiring – it also caused more than its fair share of injuries.

According to legend, an automotive engineer called Byron Carter, who’d stopped to help start a woman’s stalled Cadillac, was hit in the jaw by the handle when the car backfired, and unfortunately later died.

Apparently, Cadillac founder Henry M Leland was spurred on by the tragic tale to fit electric starters to its cars, starting in 1912.

Charles Kettering’s Delco company created a starter unit for Cadillac that could replace the starting handle and produced a current for lights and ignition. 

4. Air conditioning

Until the 1990s, only the most expensive British and European cars came with air conditioning, but luxury US marque Packard offered a fairly basic system as early as 1939.

Cadillac launched its fully automatic Comfort Control in 1964, and by 1969, when the pictured Camaro was built, over half of all cars sold in the US were fitted with air conditioning.

5. Turbocharging

Porsche, BMW and Saab introduced European car fans to turbocharged power in the mid 1970s, but over in the US General Motors had offered the same thing to its customers an entire decade earlier.

Fitting a turbocharger almost doubled the 80HP of the Corvair Monza’s flat-six and gave Oldsmobile’s comparatively small 3.5-liter V8 the punch of a much bigger engine – though the Olds’ version was dogged by reliability problems and swiftly killed off.

6. Sequential turn signals

If you’ve followed a modern Audi at a road junction you might have seen the narrow strip of light from its LED indicators slide left or right in the direction of intended travel.

Nice trick, but it’s one borrowed from Ford, which offered something similar (minus the LED bit) on its 1965 Thunderbird.

From 1967, Ford offered the same technology on two Mustang spin-offs, the Mercury Cougar and Shelby GT350/GT500.

Ironically, Audi can’t use its clever European-spec Dynamic Light system in the US – the law says the lit area isn’t big enough, so the main light unit must also flash at the same time.

7. Power-assisted steering

Before the 1950s, Detroit-built cars came with huge steering wheels and massively slow steering ratios to make steering weight bearable for drivers.

Chrysler was the first of the Big Three companies to artificially lighten steering loads when it offered power-assisted steering on its Imperial-branded cars in 1951.

Chrysler’s system was based on expired patents from Francis W Davis, who’d worked on the concept while employed by General Motors years earlier.

GM had declined to pursue the idea, citing high costs, but changed its mind promptly, introducing power steering on Cadillacs in 1952.

8. Anti-lock brakes

Mercedes-Benz pioneered the use of modern four-channel anti-lock brakes when it introduced a Bosch-developed ABS option on its flagship W116 S-Class in 1978. But it wasn’t the first to put the skids on skids.

It was Chrysler, and its Imperial brand (making a third entry in this list, if you’re counting) that got there first, offering a Bendix system in 1971.

Unlike the Bosch/Merc set-up, which could control all four wheels independently, the Chrysler version operated on just three channels, meaning one valve controlled both rear brakes.

9. Deformable bumpers

Shiny chrome bumpers are a key ingredient on almost all 1960s and 1970s classics, such as the Plymouth Roadrunner in this picture.

But they’re not particularly resistant to parking knocks and difficult to repair if you pick up a ding.

Pontiac’s answer was the Endura front bumper fitted to the 1968 GTO. Made of polyurethane and painted the same hue as the body panels, it could withstand minor parking impacts.

Pontiac even released a TV advert showing a load of engineers beating one with a crowbar to show how tough it was. Strangely, the rear bumper stuck with chrome.

10. Clean exhaust emissions

A desperate need to improve Los Angeles’ terrible air quality prompted the introduction of the world’s first car emissions regulations in the early 1960s. From 1961, all cars sold in California had to be fitted with positive crankcase ventilation, recycling evil crankcase fumes back into the engine.

By 1968 all cars sold in the US were required to meet new tailpipe emissions standards and catalytic converters, which required lead-free fuel, were mandatory from 1975 – almost 20 years before Europe followed suit.

That was great for clean air, but not so great for performance. Legendary US engines such as Chrysler’s Hemi were killed off and performance cars that did survive into the mid-1970s were massively neutered.

Pontiac’s fastest Firebird made 310HP in 1971; by 1976 it coughed out just 200, and it would be another 10 years before performance levels started to recover.

11. Automatic transmission

Unless you were driving a Cadillac, which had introduced a fully synchronized manual transmission in 1928, changing gear back in the 1930s took skill and patience, two traits many drivers lacked.

The big car companies battled to make life easier for their drivers with partially automated transmissions, but it was GM who gave us the world’s first mass-produced automatic transmission, the HydraMatic.

HydraMatic combined four ratios with a fluid coupling in place of a clutch for truly automated gear changes, though unlike modern autos (and GM’s own later Turbo-Hydramatic) it lacked a torque converter, so could not provide torque multiplication.

Still, with Caddy’s legendary L-head V8 under the hood, there was plenty of torque to go around.

Geelong has celebrated Tom Hawkins's 350th AFL game with a 36-point win over arch-rivals Hawthorn in a sodden Easter Monday clash.

The weather was so woeful at the MCG that the fourth quarter started about 40 minutes late due to the threat of lightning.

The Cats were already leading by six goals, so the weather merely delayed the inevitable coronation for milestone man Hawkins, who kicked four goals, including a late gift when Jeremy Cameron handpassed to his forward-line partner from the goalsquare.

Perhaps more concerning than the 17.4 (106) to 10.10 (70) loss for the 0-3 Hawks were injuries to Mitch Lewis, who missed the entire fourth quarter with a hamstring complaint, and rookie Nick Watson, who limped off with an ankle injury in the final minute of the match.

What started on Thursday evening has ended later than expected on Monday night, but we've had a lot of fun to get here.

And good news! Gather Round is only a couple of days away! It all kicks off again on Thursday night when Adelaide and Melbourne get SA's festival of footy underway.

And spare a thought for Jeremy Cameron and Mitch Duncan, who look like they're just about to burst trying to lift all of Tom Hawkins off the field.

Still, a day Tom Hawkins and his family will never forget.

FT: The Cats see it through to beat the Hawks by 36 points

It was an odd afternoon at the MCG, but in the end a relatively comfortable Geelong win and a perfect way to celebrate Tom Hawkins's 350th game.

The Hawks made their charge in the second quarter, and threatened to repeat the dose after the weather delay in the last, but there was a calmness to Geelong that shone through in the tough moments. Once they got a grip on the clearances again, they were able to nullify the Hawks and bring their brilliant forwards into the game.

There was a bit to like for Hawthorn, but once again a dreadful first quarter has basically cost them the game. They were beaten by a far more experienced side today though, a Cats team that has made a fine start to this season. They look destined for a relly good run at this year.

Into the last two minutes

Both teams exhausted, conditions still so tough. Not making for the prettiest end to this one.

Injury prevention probably the order of the day now.

And with that set shot goal, the Cats are out to a game-high 38-point lead and can begin the celebrations.

They've been so good inside 50 today, both in kicking for goal and picking the best options when going forward. This is going to be a highly professional win.

And that should be that! For all the Hawks' effort, they haven't been able to get the run of goals on to really make this interesting.

Jeremy Cameron marked at the top of the square and gave off the charity handball to the milestone man. Hawkins has four, and the Cats will take four points.

The Cats stopped with the fancy stuff and just got the footy forward. Conway punched it forward, Bowes belted it off the ground as far as he could and it landed luckily in Henry's arms.

He kicks the goals, and a bit of air comes out of the Hawthorn comeback.

He's been good in this last quarter, and his clean hands and clever snap have pulled the Hawks back with 20 points. There's time! This isn't over yet!

The Hawks have missed some chances in this quarter

They've kicked 1.4 in this last quarter. The opportunity has been there, but there's only 12 minutes to play.

If it's going to happen for Hawthorn, it has to happen quickly.

We've already knocked almost five minutes off the game clock, and the Hawks still need to find five more goals. It's such a slog out there, it's hard to see scores coming quickly.

One Geelong goal might kill it.

It's just going to be about forcing the footy forward and hoping for the best, and it worked out that time for Hawthorn. Ginnivan marked at the top of the square, played on quickly and smashed it through.

Ready to go for this delayed final quarter

We've been off the field for about 40 minutes, but we are belatedly ready to finish this game off, with Geelong currently leading it by 36 points.

Some bad news for Hawthorn though — Mitch Lewis is out of this game with a hamstring injury.

It is TIPPING DOWN at the MCG. This is awesome.

Good news. The players will begin their warm ups at 6:03pm AEDT with the game to restart eight minutes after that.

That means we're about 13 minutes away from the last quarter getting underway.

When have we seen this before?

This is now the third time in four seasons that something like this has happened. There was a West Coast-Melbourne game in Perth in 2021 that was interrupted by lightning.

And then last year's Gabba blackout in the Brisbane-Melbourne match.

In both occasions, the games got back underway. In both occasions, the team that was trailing staged a massive comeback and nearly pulled off crazy wins.

What happens next?

It's still pouring with rain and the radar is looking a bit nasty. But there is hope that the danger of lightning will clear off in the not too distant future.

The players are off the field for a minimum of 20 minutes (we've been off for about 10 minutes already), but we have to get back on within an hour otherwise the game will be called off with the current score standing.

The last quarter will not begin on time, as there is lightning in the area and players have been told to go immediately to their changerooms for at least 20 minutes.

This has happened a few times in recent years. It's almost lucky that this time it's happened at three-quarter-time, so there doesn't have to be an artificial stoppage mid-game. The teams will head to the rooms and wait for word from the head honchos, then will get some time to warm back up before play starts again.

3QT: Geelong make a stand and lead again by 36 points

It is absolutely tipping down at the MCG right now. Perfect conditions for holding a six-goal lead.

The Cats got back on top around the stoppages in that quarter and very quickly found themselves back on top of the game. They've been absolutely ruthless inside 50 all day, Geelong, taking almost every chance that has presented itself.

You can't rule the Hawks out, because they have basically come back from a hole like this once already today. But it's going to be a tough ask in the rain.

Sounds as if he is going through the concussion protocols as we speak after copping Mabior Chol's knee to the back of the head.

And that is as big as the lead has been all day. The Hawks may have fired their best shot, but this Geelong team remained composed and fired right back.

Every april 1, brands and companies want to get some laughs – and attention – with goofy new 'product' launches. here are some ideas from companies such as sweetgreen, welch's and omaha steaks..

If you don't like Mondays, this one may especially be grating. It's April Fool's Day , when you should trust no one and question everything.

The roots of April Fools' Day may date back before to before the 15th century. But the modern-day April Fools' Day has become a day to prank a friend, family member, co-worker − or your customers.

Even though some companies have had April Fools' pranks backfire , marketers continue to issue spoof products in attempts to get some laughs and attention.

Already ahead of April Fools' Day, 7-Eleven has hinted at a possible prank product: In addition to new Lemon Lime, Green Apple and Sweet Orange flavored 7-Select sparkling waters, out now with partner Miracle Seltzer, there's a fourth flavor coming April 1: Big Bite Hot Dog.

The hot dog-flavored water "combines the mouthwatering experience of 7-Eleven’s iconic Big Bite Hot Dog into one refreshing beverage – ketchup and mustard included," the convenience chain says in a press release . "Say goodbye to the days of alternating bites of a hot dog with sips of a beverage, now those on the go can swap the bun for bubbles."

Krispy Kreme: A special doughnut deal for April Fools' Day

Will Big Bite Hot Dog sparkling water be sold? Its availability will be announced April 1. However, some reporters were sent a can of the drink. USA TODAY can confirm that it definitely smells like hot dog water and has a smoky aftertaste.

If you are interested in trying it, both 7-Eleven and Miracle Seltzer have hinted at having some to give away on their Instagram pages. (If you get a can, share with a friend as it's 16 ounces.)

Despite the proliferation of crazy-flavored products including Peeps-flavored Pepsi , Frank's RedHot sauce-flavored Vlasic pickles and Doritos Nacho Cheese-flavored liquor , healthy soda brand OLIPOP and Pringles are not really teaming up to bring to market a Sour Cream & Onion soda.

The product would have been "a match made in heaven … to bring the delicious, tangy flavor of Pringles’ Sour Cream & Onion flavor to life in liquid form with prebiotic benefits," the companies said.

Stoner lingo translation app

Another dream team prank product: Rosetta Stoned, a mobile app from Rosetta Stone and medical marijuana company Fluent , that "bridges the conversational gap between novice users and seasoned stoners in any social setting."

Infant equipment site BabyQuip has its own language-bridging lark: the “Baby Translator” app, to decode your baby's secret language.

"Say 'goodbye' to restless nights as you decode your baby's coos and cries instantly, providing you with the understanding you need as a parent, all in one convenient app," it promises.

An AI-powered plush doll

Custom stuffed animal maker Budsies already makes selfie plush dolls with a built-in voice recorder. Its April Fools' spoof: Artificial intelligence-enabled dolls that "come programmed to learn everything about you and to become your new best friend."

A 50-pound Bearabuddy

Sorry to the 3,500 or so who have already signed up to buy Bearaby's Jumbo Benji plush toy, which is four times the size of its regular weighted plush toys and twice as heavy as its heaviest weighted blanket . This isn't actually going to be sold. But it is real and will be making its home in the lobby at The Child Mind Institute in Harlem to welcome children and their families. More weighted plushies are due the day after April Fools' Day, the company says.

A sleeping bag to go bananas over

The Dole Banana Peel Sleeping Bag, conveniently promoted as being available on April Fools' Day only, is made from actual banana fiber and "allows parents to escape into their own cocoon of sensory deprivation."

A full-body cleaning suit

Outrageous clothing company Tipsy Elves has a special product for April Fools' Day: The Mopsie. You don't need paper towels anymore, you can use your body to clean up those messes, with this "innovative, wearable microfiber towel jumpsuit" for "effortlessly soaking up spills and messes with ease." There's also a Baby Mopsie for "hard to reach places."

Korean BBQ deodorant

Kevin's Natural Foods , which has paleo- and keto-certified ready-to-cook and easy-prep entrées, is touting a new line of personal care products inspired by its food dishes including Korean BBQ Deodorant, Cilantro Lime Toothpaste, Lemongrass Basil Shampoo and Tikka Masala Sunscreen.

"These new face, body and hair care essentials will help fans prioritize self-care inside and out," the company says. 

Omaha Steaks' meaty sprays

Omaha Steaks has its own personal care prank product: Meaty Spritz sprays with flavors such as Omaha Fog, Hog Haze, and Cock-a-Doodle-Dew.

"The world’s first protein-infused, flavor-packed, portable pump spray … (to) enjoy all the mouthwatering flavors of your Omaha Steaks gourmet favorites no matter how far away from the kitchen you are!" the company says.

Sriracha toothpaste

Asian sauce maker Lee Kum Kee , which makes Sriracha Chili Sauce and Sriracha Mayo Dressing, is introducing – not – its Siracha Mayo Toothpaste. It's "fiery and creamy goodness … is sure to spice up your morning dental routine."

Post-salad dental kit

Need some less powerful toothpaste? Sweetgreen offered these fanciful personal hygiene products as part of its Sweetgreen After Salad Kit, which is "designed with your pearly whites in mind … offering everything you need to freshen up post-meal."

Choose from Miso Ginger Toothpaste, Spicy Cashew Mints, Lime Cilantro Dental Floss, and Sweetgreen Toothbrush and Floss Picks.

Fruit juice lip gloss

More personal care prank products: Welch’s Juicyfuls Juicy Fruit Lip Gloss – now available in five flavors: grape, orange, peach, strawberry and raspberry – made with real juice from Juicefuls fruit snacks so "you get that irresistible sweet flavor you love, all in a lip gloss that's as fun as it is nourishing."

Protein-powered seasonings

Quest Nutrition , maker of protein powder, snacks and other products, has a prank product line of seasonings including All Purpose, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Herb, each of which deliver "21g of protein, 2g of net carbs and less than 1g of sugar."

This shenanigan seems like a blend that could stick: Scotch Whisky by Scotch Brand. The whisky "features a nose of cherry wood and a delightfully smooth finish that hits like a well-wrapped gift."

Who you gonna call when ghosted? This new title at Tinder

Dating app Tinder announced a new April Fools' Day hiring quest for a Vice President of Ghost Hunting to help combat "one of dating culture’s most prevalent vices – ghosting," a practice inflicted on 78% of singles already in 2024 (an untrue fact from Tinder).

Patrón's bringing back a beloved liqueur. No kidding.

Patrón patrons get some good news today. The premium tequila maker chose April Fools' Day to announce the return of its Patrón XO Cafe tequila-based coffee liqueur, which was discontinued in 2021. Since production ceased, devotees took to social media and signed a petition asking parent company Bacardi to bring it back.

Made with Patrón Silver tequila and Arabica bean coffee – the dry liqueur can be sipped straight, in cocktails and as dessert topping – Patrón XO Cafe will begin arriving in stores again later this month.

Say it with dead flowers

Don't forget to put roses on your April Fools' Day list. Additionally, Dunkin' Rewards members will receive 3x bonus points on any donut order through the mobile app on April 1.

Urban Outfitters launches 'Name Three Shirts' movement

Urban Outfitters said it is launching a global movement to "stand in solidarity against band-tee-shaming" by launching a new collection called "Name Three Shirts."

The t-shirt line "playfully mocks the gatekeeping attitudes of older generations who insist that band-shirt wearers should be required to name songs by those artists," the company said in a news release.

The line, which features revamped logos from bands such as The Grateful Dead, Joy Division and Led Zeppelin, is a "playful jab at the attitudes of older generations, and fights back against the misogynistic undertones of the infamous ‘name three songs’ line of questioning," Urban Outfitters said in the news release.
