If you’re thinking about attending UMA, it’s important to visit your nearest UMA location. We have campuses in Augusta and Bangor, and UMA Centers statewide. We’d be happy to schedule an appointment to meet with a member of the Admissions Staff and other staff or faculty if desired.
Students interested in touring the Architecture , Aviation , and Medical Lab Technology facilities should schedule a tour of the Augusta Campus.
Students interested in touring the Dental Health and Veterinary Technology facilities should schedule a tour of the Bangor Campus.
Campus dorms are located off-campus at Stevens Commons in Hallowell Maine – roughly 4 miles from campus. If you choose to tour our off-campus dorms indicate your interest when you register. Architecture and Aviation program tours include program-specific buildings located within 2 miles of campus.
General campus tours generally take an hour, if you plan to see off-campus dorms and/or Architecture and Aviation program-specific locations – tours will take 2 hours so please plan accordingly.

In-Person Tours: Take a 60-minute walking tour to explore the Augusta Campus and the option to tour our off-campus housing in Hallowell. Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate attire. If you need accommodations during your visit, you will have the option to indicate your needs when you register.

We are excited you are looking to explore the UMA Augusta campus with your school, high school, community college, adult education program, or another interested group. We will reach out within two business days to coordinate your visit. We ask that you give us a two-week notice before your preferred date so we can be sure to be fully prepared for your visit.
Along with a campus tour, we can also provide a tour of UMA’s off-campus dorms along with an information session and lunch. You can indicate your preferences when you register.

South portland campus walking tour.
Join us for an introduction to our waterfront campus with a student-led tour. The hour tour will include academic facilities, athletics and fitness center, and dining space. Admissions staff will be available to answer any questions before or after your tour.

Take a student-led tour of our beautiful coastal Biddeford Campus. Tours last up to 90 minutes and include academic and athletics facilities, dining and study areas, and an opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor. - EMCC Connect Days
This day is designed to welcome admitted students to campus. We introduce people and resources to help students succeed, offer campus tours, and provide open time to “take care of business,” such as ordering books, meeting with your academic advisor, meet with admissions or financial aid, attend workshops, and setting up accessibility services/ accommodations.
