Bow Wow Announces 'Millennium Tour' with Mario and Keri Hilson

The “Millennium Tour” is turning up for 2022.

Bow Wow will headline the latest edition of the concert series, dubbed “The Millennium Tour: Turned Up!” The star-studded lineup also includes Mario, Keri Hilson, Lloyd, Pleasure P, Bobby V, Chingy, Lil Scrappy, Dem Franchize Boyz, Crime Mob, and Travis Porter, plus the recently reunited Day26.

The 24-date trek kicks off Oct. 7 in Hampton, Virginia and travels to arenas across the U.S., with stops in Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, wrapping Nov. 27 in Oakland.

This is the first “Millennium Tour” that doesn’t feature Omarion. He headlined alongside B2K in 2019 and with Bow Wow in 2020. The 2020 edition was postponed due to the pandemic and resumed in October 2021 with supporting acts including Ashanti, Soulja Boy, and Sammie.

A pre-sale begins Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. before tickets go on sale to the public on Aug. 19 at 10 a.m.

The highly coveted brand must-see tour dates will include performances by Lloyd, Pleasure P, Bobby V, Sammie, Ying Yang Twins, Dem Franchize Boyz, Crime Mob, Travis Porter, Lil Scrappy, Trillville, Chingy , and the reunion of Day 26 . Front row seats to best concert ever.

Been a die hard fan of Bow since HMV Beware Of Dog and Macy's Herald Square days so this wasn't my first time witnessing him in concert however, this was my first Having front row seats and a Meet and Greet on a tour and it was the best show ever! We also attended the show at the Garden and have to say the Prudential show was way better so happy I purchased tiks only thing that needs improvement would be security for front row tickets holders Fans from other areas should never be allowed to just come to the front when Bow hits the stage there was almost an altercation for this very reason!

The experience was everything. Although the rainy weather made getting to the event a little hard, once inside, that feeling went away. The crowd was hyped, and the artist lineup was great. I enjoyed every performance. The songs took me down memory lane. I would go to another concert. My friends and I had a blast.

Every artists did there thing and I enjoyed myself was on my feet the whole night.

My husband and I went to the concert & sat at the 5th row on the floor. It was an amazing experience start to finish. I even got to take photos with Que and Willie of Day 26. Both were humble and super nice to do that. There were not very many pauses during the concert, start to finish. Overall fantastic time! We have went to both part 1 and this one and this one was even better than the 1st!

This is one of the first concerts I have attended that started on time and transitioned from artist to artist very smoothly. I was concerned that the concert would be lengthy based on the numbers of artist on the line up, however, it was great!

It was such a great night! Literally EVERY performer from Chingy to Bobby Valentino, to Keri Hilson, Bow Wow, Ying Yang Twins, they ALL were great to see live! And i love that there was no delay in between performers, they came on one after the other. I LOVED everything about this show, i would definitely go again!

The Millennium Tour continues to evolve. Mario, Keri Hilson and Bow Wow are at the top of the bill for the Millennium Tour: Turned Up , announced today (Aug. 12).

Powered by G-Squared Events , Millennium Tour: Turned Up will also include a special reunion of R&B group Day26, plus Lloyd, Pleasure P , Bobby V, and Sammie. The latter four acts were on the previous Millennium Tour , as well as Mario and Bow Wow.

It won’t be a full night of R&B, though. The tour will also feature performances by rap acts Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, Dem Franchize Boyz, Lil Scrappy, Travis Porter, Crime Mob and Trillville.

The 24-city tour kicks off Oct. 7 at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia at Hampton Coliseum. From there, the crew will travel across the U.S., playing in major cities such as Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Memphis and Miami.

The tour will conclude Nov. 27 at Oakland Arena in Oakland, California.

Tickets will be available for presale beginning Thursday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. local time. All tickets can be purchased at gsquaredevents.com .

Circling back to Day26, the group recently announced their reunion and plans to celebrate their 15th anniversary with new music.

On Aug. 26, they will perform a special virtual concert with all five original members.

While Day26 is reuniting, another is formalizing. Ray J, Sammie, Bobby V and Pleasure P recently announced their new group RSVP , following their bonus match during Mario and Omarion’s Verzuz battle.

Although Ray J isn’t included in the Millennium Tour: Turned Up , it wouldn’t be a surprise if the other three members preview new music.

The Millennium Tour Turned Up! Announced With Bow Wow, Mario & Keri Hilson

Safe to assume that Mario got Omarion uninvited to his own tour. The jokes write themselves, but we won’t spread any rumors. The Millennium Tour, which originally featured Bow Wow and B2K, but later became Bow Wow and Omarion, will enter a new transition, this time featuring Mario and Keri Hilson joining Bow Wow as headliners for what is being called The Millennium Tour Turned Up!

The news of the Millennium Tour Turned Up! comes just weeks after an epic Verzuz battle featuring Mario vs Omarion, in which the public clearly determined that Mario outperformed and blew out Omarion. It also comes just weeks after Keri Hilson was honored at Black Music Honors, a pivotal moment in her career highlighting her years of success in the business.

As a trio, they don’t necessarily scream instant headliners, but Bow Wow does bring a crowd and Mario does have a newly resurrected appeal so we still expect the tour to sell out like it usually does. The usually Bow Wow/Omarion chemistry may be missed however. Bow Wow and Mario do have one song together, which dates back to Bow Wow’s Unleashed album in 2003. There are no other joint tracks between the 3 headliners.

Omarion recently reunited with longtime friends, Bow Wow & Soulja Boy for a sexy, melodic new single, “EX.” Produced by Grammy award-winner Greg Kurtis (Keyshia Cole, Destiny’s Child), the single is the first collaboration from the trio in 14 years. The Millenium Tour Set To Return In The Fall

The Millineum tour is back and better! After being forced to cancel because of COVID-19 concerns, the 27-city tour is set to kick off on Oct. 1, in Los Angeles, CA.

Shad Moss AKA Bow Wow and Omarion, who are also headlining the tour, announced the news on social media.

The rapper also took to Instagram to announce the news to his 4.6 million followers.

“**OFFICIAL TOUR DATES** We got unfinished business to handle! #millenniumtour2021 Starring: Bow wow & Omarion. With special guest Ashanti and more… get your tickets now! (1st arena tour to roll out since the pandemic) WE OWE YOU GUYS. This what you been waiting on… lets go! We back outisde!!!!!” wrote Moss.

Omarion also made an announcement to his fans, with a simple message.

In addition to the rapper and singer headlining the highly-anticipated tour, there will be special appearances from all of our early 2000’s faves! Those set to feature are Ashanti, Soulja Boy, Pretty Ricky, the Ying Yang Twins, and Sammie. While B2K headlined the 2019 tour, they are not involved this time around.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Saturday, June 26.

Bow Wow Announces All-New ‘Millennium Tour’ Lineup Featuring Keri Hilson, Mario, Day26, & More

Mario may have referred to the Omarion -toplined edition of the ‘Millennium Tour’ as “raggedy sh*t” during their VERZUZ battle in June, but it appears the GRAMMY-nominated singer has had a change of heart as he’s listed as one of the headliners for the forthcoming iternation of the highly anticipated North American jaunt.

Once again led by Bow Wow , the trek calls on some of the early 2000’s most popular Urban movers and shakers to unite for a night of nostalgic hits.

Having previously wowed crowds across the United States with a lineup that’s featured the likes of Ashanti, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Bobby V, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy , and more, this time new faces like Hilson and Day26 are being brought into the mix.

Taking to Instagram Friday ( August 12 ), Bow stunned his 4.7 million followers with the announcement he’s assembling Mario, Hilson, Day26, Lloyd, Pleasure P , Chingy, Lil Scrappy, Bobby V, Dem Franchize Boyz, Crime Mob, and Travis Porter for the newest version of the tour dubbed “The Millennium Tour: Turned Up!” This will be the first ‘Millennium Tour’ to not feature Omarion.

Kicking off October 7 at Hampton, Virginia’s Hampton Coliseum, the 24-date trek will venture to major North American cities like Detroit, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, New York City, and more before wrapping up in Oakland on November 27 .

This month, the city has been packed with things to do.

Our bustling arts scene is back in action this fall, from poetry readings at the Menil Collection to The Houston Grand Opera's rendition of Carmen. Not to mention live music is back in play; enjoy a free concert at Evelyn's Park Conservancy in Bellaire, or reminisce on the Y2K era at The Millenium Tour.

The highly coveted brand must-see tour dates will include performances by Lloyd, Pleasure P, Bobby V, Sammie, Ying Yang Twins, Dem Franchize Boyz, Crime Mob, Travis Porter, Lil Scrappy, Trillville, Chingy , and the reunion of Day 26 .

Before offering to the general public, The Millennium Tour tickets go on presale with The American Express® Card Members beginning Tuesday, August 16 at 10 am local time through Thursday, August 18 at 10 pm local time. G-Squared & BPC's presale starts on Thursday, August 18, from 10 am to 10 pm local time. Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, August 19 at 10 am local and range from $59.50 to $169.50 and may vary by city. Tickets can be purchased here.

Bow Wow and Omarion ’s Millennium Tour will return in several months.

On Friday, the artists took to social media to announce dates for the 2021 United States trek. Bow Wow and Omarion will headline the event, which will include appearances by Ashanti , Soulja Boy , Pretty Ricky , the Ying Yang Twins , and more.

“We got unfinished business to handle!” wrote Bow Wow, who is gearing up for his fast-approaching Verzuz battle with Soulja Boy “…. WE OWE YOU GUYS. This what you been waiting on… lets go! We back outside!!!!!”

The Millennium Tour 2020 was supposed to kick off in Louisville, Kentucky, last February, but was postponed due to concerns over the pandemic. Most of the acts who were set to appear in last year’s tour have signed on for the 2021 trek. And, no, the other members of B2K, who headlined the 2019 tour, are not involved this time around.

The tour will begin Oct. 1 at Los Angeles’ The Forum, and will include stops in Oakland, Detroit, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Miami, before wrapping up on Nov. 26 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. How Omarion's Star-Studded Millennium Tour Celebrates a "Very Special Time" in Music

As part of e's backstage pass, omarion gave fans a preview into how he gets the party started at one of this year's must-see tours..

The biggest party of the year could just be on The Millennium Tour.

For the past several weeks, Omarion and his closest friends including Bow Wow , Ashanti , Soulja Boy and more have been getting fans up on their feet in venues across the country. And with a jam-packed schedule planned for November, these artists aren't slowing down anytime soon.

"This whole concept of The Millennium Tour is really a true representation of an era and time where music felt a certain type of way," Omarion, who serves as the headliner, exclusively shared with E! News. "This tour is special for that reason. It brings you back to a place. It brings you back to a time when you heard a song for the first time. It's not just a sing along. It's also entertainment."

The R&B singer continued, "It's the Ying Yang Twins , Sammie , Lloyd …I like to highlight that we've been performing since we were very young. Bow Wow, my business partner in crime. All of our audience is coming up in that era of 106 and Park and TRL ."

When determining his set list, Omarion wasn't afraid to look back on his entire career, which started off in the boy band B2K . And while he doesn't want to give everything away before his shows, the Grammy nominee is confident fans will be very happy with what they hear onstage.

"My audience is definitely prepared for some of my older tunes but also introducing some new songs," he teased. "I've never had B2K in my set as a solo artist. I wanted to kind of leave those songs behind but I brought that back in…I do some new songs. It's a mesh of going from the past and moving into the future now."

Looking ahead, Omarion is preparing to publish his first book, Full Circle: Lessons & Takeaways on How to Live an Unbothered Life , in 2022.

Awesome place to live!

This community is a great place to live! It’s safe & quiet, and always kept clean. The office girls are all awesome and have great customer service. The office tries to keep everyone in the community involved with multiple free events a month; great places to socialize! I recommend this community to any demographic!

Absolutely love the Millennium High Street and Cailei!

Me and my husband have been living at the Millennium High Street for 2 years and we really love this community. The entire staff is very friendly, and especially I’d like to thank to Cailei! She is always willing to help us. She is super friendly and answered all my questions. She is the best property manager I’ve ever met. The amenities here are also superb. I love spending time at the resort inspired pool. They also have lots of amazing events that I really like to participate in. Lots of restaurants, shopping spots and a theater are in walking distance. I’m a walk lover and this community is paradise! I recently recommended this place to my relatives and they decided to move in soon. Absolutely love the Millennium High Street!

Amazing home in an exceptional community and an excellent part of town.

I have been here for three years. You can’t go wrong with this spot. In my opinion, it meets all the important criteria from security, to service, and location. It is walking distance to nice/fancy restaurants, stores, IPIC theater and even the mall. The staff has changed over time but the amazing service, care, and community remains the same. Vanessa, Rachel & Cailei offer exceptional customer service unique to their respective personalities. Nonetheless, they are all friendly, cordial, helpful, pleasant, and go above & beyond to ensure satisfaction. The maintenance team is on point and on time. Shout out to Hector and the crew. Love Millennium High Street!

My boyfriend and so moved down to Houston in May and have had nothing but great experiences regarding our apartment. Cailei has been amazing from the start and never fails to answer our questions. The location is perfect as it’s very close to the best shopping and restaurants in Houston! The amenities are superb, especially the resort style pool! Can’t recommend this place enough! Currently trying to get my new coworkers that are moving down next August to sign a lease here haha!

Overall I’m dissatisfied in the past few months. This is a stark contrast from last year when the previous management company was in charge. Initially I was treated very well, but over time I have been treated with disrespect by several staff members, including management. I have also been disrespected by one particular maintenance team member. I’ve felt ignored and avoided. The garage stays broken. This has become disappointing and stressful. The location is great.

Greystar Bad Management

The location is Great! just next to the River Oaks District, very walkable area. Property looks very pretty on the outside, pool area and amenities are beautiful, resort living style. It is a shame that is running under a terrible management, let me explain myself: 1- When you go to the business center 50% of the time the internet is not working, Coffeys machine our of service and no cups. 2- When you go to the fitness center some machines are out of service. Non of the TV screens work, Wall TV or embedded machine's TV screens works. 3- There isn't a guests parking spaces, just Fidelity customers or future residents. 4- The hallways seems dark and too many scratches in the walls that can be fixed fast but not addressed by the management team. 5- The unit inside has a old dishwaters, and kitchen cabinets looks cheap. 6- Showers, ceiling fans, washer and dryers, are the cheapest you can find in the market. 7- When go inside of the building there is a particular smell of pet pis and even sometimes poop. The hallways have old and stained carpet, but in the months that I have been living here, I haven't seen the first person cleaning the carpets. Is very common where is tile instead of carpet, to see urine swamps. I think there is just one cleaning lady for the entire 4 buildings complex. 8- There are more than 3 hundred units and there are just 2 handy/repair men, so if you need any repairs hod on tight because it can take a long wait. 9- You can see garbage every day. There are dumpsters in the back garage door always fulfilled of trash, smelling, I think there should be a better place to keep the trash and not in the transitable areas. 10- There are some public trash cans in the exit of each building. Wait on Sunday or Monday morning how full it is, even with trash outside next to the can, crap odor, is completely disgusting for a resident or a guest when coming in and out. So where is the luxury and resort feeling with this terrible management in place? Extra gift: Palm trees where burned because of the freezing at the beginning of this year, and the solution of the management office was to cut them down one foot over the ground, and leave it that way. Is too much to ask to replace the palms and improve the landscape? I am very surprised that Greystar is the management company, I had Greystar as a very high professional profile company in my mind. Just waiting in a few months to move out when my lease ends.

Love this place!

This place is on fire from the rooftop all the way down to the pool (literally they have fire pits that turn on with the flick of a switch at both). The community is amazing, the amenities are great, any maintenance needed is done timely and professionally. The office staff is top notch, Amanda and Lauren rock kinda like a rock band!

Great Place to live, upscale with everything close by

Having living here since the beginning, it is a great place to live (just renewed my lease for another year). Very close to everything, restaurants, shopping, bars, and of course the new iPic theater is a great addition. Like in the previous review, security is a concern, but with every apartment or condo there will be some issue. They are trying to fix it. Staff is great to deal with and always friendly. They just re-did the rooftop and it is great, I love to cook, so it is great to have family and friends over and have them on the rooftop enjoying the river oaks/galleria view while I grill out.

A luxury Apartment w. Limited Security

I've been living in this apartment since it first opened (I was one of the first 30 people to take an apartment here. It was probably one of the premier apartments in the neighborhood (At least i thought). The security in this building is subpar. In november of 2014 My car was broken into. I feel like I recieve weekly notices about either an armed robbery, car break in, an apartment break in or something similiar. This is the first week in an entire year that i finally seee someone from security near the partking lot BUT my friends can get in and out of this apartment without being detected. My lease is up in a few months and I plan on moving.

Beautiful, luxury apartment complex

I love this apartment complex! I loved in about 3 weeks ago and have been extremely pleased with the amenities, services, and community. As a newly divorced mother of two young boys I was very nervous about how the boys would adapt to an apartment and how the community would feel about having them here. I have been so thrilled to realize there are other families with children here as well and my boys love it here. It is beautiful, quiet, and in the best location - especially with the new River Oaks shopping center being built next door. The amenities are awesome too- the pool is beautiful and the fitness center is filled with top of the line equipment. The dog park is very cute and nice to have if you have a dog, and the rooftop terrace is so beautiful with 360 degree views of the Galleria. I highly recommend this complex!

Recent resident, but loving it so far

The units here are nice, but a bit pricey. They do all have very nice looking modern finishes and are brand new. The amenities are beautiful and are the main reason why I personally feel that the price is justified. The pool is beautiful and the fitness center is really nice for an apartment (bigger than other places we looked at). Unfortunately, there is construction going on next door that is very noisy, especially in the morning. This place will definitely be better once that construction is complete and the complex is fully occupied.

A Lack of Clarity of Response

After numerious attempts asking for details of prices and availability by email without detailed response I gave up and found another place to live for the next 6 months

Tour de Houston bicyclists urge for long-term measures to improve rider safety on city's roads

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Thousands of bicyclists took off from downtown Houston Sunday morning for the 17th annual Tour de Houston , a ride that travels through some of the city's most scenic areas.

Participants were in good spirits as they were greeted with beautiful weather at the starting line on Avenida de las Americas, right next to Discovery Green. Mayor John Whitmire joined Apache Corporation, the event's sponsor, to send off each of the three groups, riding in the 20, 40, and 60-mile routes.

The ride almost didn't take place this year.

Back in January, the Mayor's Office of Special Events preliminarily canceled the 2024 event due to a lack of funding. Whitmire said this was done without his consultation and when he found out, he explored other options to keep the event going.

The longest route takes participants through Houston's historic neighborhoods, vibrant districts, and parks before going all the way down to Clear Lake Park in Seabrook. The intersections along the way were not closed, but manned by traffic officers.

While the event allowed bicyclists to ride safely on Houston's roads on Sunday, some riders shared with ABC13 some of the long-term measures they'd like to see to make the city more bike-friendly.

"If they could connect the bike trails together to make even long trails, that would be the best thing the City of Houston could do to improve biking in the city, in my opinion. Connect the widest trails, like White Oak and Spring Creek. Those kinds of mega trails," Ulises Martin said.

"A clearly marked lane for bikes. We do know that we have to share with cars because the City of Houston is so car-oriented. Make a better effort of campaigning to let motorists know to be aware of cyclists," Phi Nguyen said.

Data obtained by ABC13 shows 13 cyclists died in accidents in Harris County in 2023. ABC13 asked the mayor where city officials stand on the issue of bicyclist safety.

"We're growing at a rapid rate. Our general mobility is very important. We've done great things along Allen Parkway. We need to make sure that there's a safe passage in Memorial Park. So there's a lot of things we still have to do," Whitmire said.

Meanwhile, organizers said proceeds from Tour de Houston will go towards the city's RE-Plant Houston Program, which helps plant thousands of trees and reforest parks and greenspaces.

Gonzalo Escobar and Aleksandr Nedovyesov celebrate their third ATP Tour title as a team in Estoril.

Gonzalo Escobar and Aleksandr Nedovyesov prevailed in a match of two distinct halves on Sunday to claim the trophy at the Millennium Estoril Open .

The Ecuadorian-Kazakhstani duo prevailed 7-5, 6-2 against Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul at the clay-court ATP 250 in Portugal. They crucially clinched an opening set featuring 20 break points and five breaks of serve before accelerating through the second for their third ATP Tour crown as a team.

“To be play against those guys, it is always a battle, so we needed to be focused all the way through the match,” said Nedovyesov. “The first set was tricky, break points here and there, and we knew we were going to be tested all the way.

“We just needed to stay focused and stay together. Even though we were 5-1 up in the second, we lost a bit of concentration there, but we managed to finish it up on a good note.”

With their one-hour, 41-minute triumph, Escobar and Nedovyesov levelled their Lexus ATP Head2Head series with Doumbia and Reboul at 1-1. The pair is now 11-6 in 2024, having also reached a championship match in February in Los Cabos.

“It’s definitely special,” said Escobar, who is now a six-time ATP Tour champion, of the Estoril win. “It’s one of my favourite places and my last tournament before becoming a father, so it’s definitely special. We are getting better as a team and that’s the most important thing.”

Heliovaara/Patten clinch Marrakech title on team debut Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten did not have to wait long for their new partnership to bring success on the ATP Tour.

The Finnish-British duo downed Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler 3-6, 6-4, 10-4 on Saturday to win the Grand Prix Hassan II in their first tournament together. The fourth seeds won six of the final seven points of the match to clinch an 88-minute victory at the clay-court ATP 250 in Marrakech.

Heliovaara and Patten had not dropped a set en route to the championship match but were forced to rally from behind against the second-seeded Erler and Miedler. The pair saved four of five break points they faced in their comeback win, according to Infosys ATP Stats.

It was a fifth ATP Tour crown for the 34-year-old Heliovaara, who competed at the 2022 Nitto ATP Finals alongside Lloyd Glasspool . Meanwhile it was a maiden tour-level title for Patten, whose only previous ATP Tour championship match appearance came alongside Julian Cash in Houston in 2023.

Aussies Purcell/Thompson claim Houston crown Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson won their fourth tour-level title as a pair on Saturday at the Fayez Sarofim & Co. U.S. Clay Court Championship. The fourth-seeded Aussies beat William Blumberg and John Peers 7-5, 6-1, securing the trophy with their lone straight-sets win of the week.

With three titles together in 2024, Purcell/Thompson are now level with Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic for most on the season. Their latest run lifted them three places to ninth in the PIF ATP Doubles Teams Rankings.

Purcell is now a seven-time tour-level doubles champ, with all of those triumphs coming alongside a fellow Aussie. The Houston title is Thompson's fifth, all of which have come at the ATP 250 level.
