There’s plenty of artists we’ve agreed on with our friends across the Atlantic, down the years, from The Beatles through to One Direction, but occasionally, an act who really ought to be successful in both the U.S. and the UK. only really meets with the reception they deserve on one of those sides. It’s probably fair to say that that’s been the case for Omarion; since the premature dissolution of hip hop boy band B2K in 2004, he’s had two number one records in his native country, with O and 21, but has failed to repeat the feat across the pond; a number 14 spot for the Timbaland-produced single ‘Ice Box’ back in 2006 being as close as he’s come to making a real mark on these shores. That didn’t stop him from scheduling a UK tour back in 2008, though; he played a slew of shows across the country, taking to the stage backed by dancers and a turntablist and wearing a glittery suit that looked suspiciously like one of Michael Jackson’s. Both solo and B2K cuts had his cult British fanbase screaming, but he’s yet to make a return. He’s still big business in the States, where he’s signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation management and has a record deal with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group; his first album on the label, the subtly-titled Sex Playlist, is due imminently, so perhaps he’ll relaunch his UK career with some live dates while he’s at it.

Omari Ishmael Grandberry better known by his stage name Omarion is a hip hop artist signed to the prestigious Roc Nation label, owned by the renowned Jay Z. Having started his career in the successful group B2K, Omarion had a fan base very much ready and waiting for the release of his solo material.

Since the first album aptly titled 'O' was released in 2005, they have continued to follow his career and continue to attend his concerts in great numbers. He has gained huge noteirity through commercial singles such as 'Entourage' and 'Ice Box' yet his devoted fans make themselves known during the performance of early mixtape tracks and Omarion is partly bemused, partly surprised they know his work so well.

Clearly the artist has more impact than he realises, and his gig stays at this pace throughout with Omarion conducting his devoted crowd in huge singalongs and keeps them dancing to tracks such as 'Girlfriend'. By the finale everybody in the room has thoroughly enjoyed with the show, including Omarion.

The UK is a wonderful place: free health care, the pub. Britain offers a whole host of incredible advantages and experience for us lucky residents. There is one thing missing though. The presence of Omarion. Across the pond Omarion is a hip hop star, boasting two number one singles and a multitude of top 40 hits. The R&B artist is up there with the likes of his collaborators Chris Brown and other contemporaries such as Kanye, Tyga and Timberlake. Indeed, Omarion’s soulful and smooth vocals surpass many of these. He resonates an old school, smooth R&B vibe that is as addictive as it is enticing. So his lack of popularity in the UK is shocking, to say the very least. However, undeterred, Omarion has scheduled yet another UK leg of his tour, a leg you would be wise to jump on. With hits such as ‘O’, ‘I’m up’ and ‘Ice Box’, Omarion puts on one hell of a show. And let’s not forget the massive tune that is ‘Post to be’.

Omarion was NEVER at the venue, nor ginuwine. It was a false advertisement and they basically took our money. We bought tickets to see him perform and also to catch Ginuwine but none of them were part of the show only Eric Bellinger BUT we didn’t pay tickets to watch him. Completely disappointing

I’ve always been a fan of Omarion for 20 years. I’ve been apart of his fan base since B2K til this day. I’ve seen Omarion 3 times. Twice in 2005 and last year it made me feel so good to see my idol in concert 3 times and still a Stan til this day

Omarion and Bow Wow Announce 'Millennium Tour' Dates

The “Millennium Tour” is coming back this fall.

After being delayed due to the pandemic, Omarion and Bow Wow have announced new dates for their joint tour. This time around, they will be joined by Ashanti, plus special guests Soulja Boy, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie, and Pretty Ricky.

The 27-date trek kicks off Oct. 1 at L.A.’s The Forum before making its way to arenas across the country, with stops in Detroit, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Miami, and Memphis, wrapping Nov. 26 in Las Vegas.

Omarion and Bow Wow were originally set to tour last year before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled tour dates. The original “Millennium Tour” was headlined by B2K in 2019 and grossed over $28 million .

Before bringing their live show to a city near you, Bow Wow and his tourmate Soulja Boy will face off during their highly-anticipated Verzuz battle on Saturday, June 26.

Omarion is ready to hit the road. The R&B singer revealed dates for the Vbz On Vbz tour , taking him across the country this spring.

Billed as the Omarion: Vbz on Vbz Tour , the journey kicks off in early April in Grand Prairie, TX. The schedule includes concerts in Cleveland, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington D.C. before wrapping up in Atlanta in May.

“big vbz coming your way,” wrote the 39-year-old on Instagram.

Joining the “Ice Box” singer in the cross-country tour are all R&B acts. Singers Vedo , Tone Stith , Jastin Martin , and group WanMor are all hitting the road. In partnership with Black Promoters Collective, organizers promise an “unforgettable experience for fans.”

The "Millenium Tour" is making yet another comeback!

On Friday (June 18), Bow Wow and Omarion announced the tour dates for the nationwide tour, which was delayed in 2020 due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

“We got unfinished business to handle!” Bow, who is gearing up for his upcoming Verzuz battle with Soulja Boy , wrote on social media. “…. WE OWE YOU GUYS. This what you been waiting on… lets go! We back outside!!!!!”

The tour will include special appearances from Ashanti , Soulja Boy, Pretty Ricky , the Ying Yang Twins , and Sammie . While B2K headlined the 2019 tour, they are not involved this time around.

As fans know, the return of the "Millennium Tour" was announced in November 2019. The tour was supposed to kick off in Louisville, Kentucky, in February 2020, but was postponed amidst fears over the pandemic.

The 2021 tour will begin on October 1 in Los Angeles before making stops in Oakland, Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, and Miami — to name a few — before ultimately wrapping up on November 26 in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the tour go on sale the same day as Bow and Soulja's highly-anticipated Verzuz battle on Saturday, June 26.

They are back!

It looks like millennials are in for a treat as it was just announced on Friday that “The Millennium Tour 2021” is on the way. Bow Wow and Omarion are set to headline the tour and they are bringing along some of your favorite artists from the early aughts such as Soulja Boy and Ashanti .

Omarion also took to Instagram to post about the tour he will headline without his group B2K.

It’s unclear why the “Touch” singer is not bringing along B2K but drama surrounded the group back in 2019 when one of the group’s members Lil’ Fizz was dating the mother of the “Touch” singer’s kids. Last February, Omarion said he is open to speaking with Lil’ Fizz, per theGrio .

During an  interview  with  Big Boy , Omarion was uncharacteristically candid and revealed how he found out that his former friend was having a sexual and romantic relationship with the mother of his children.

“I don’t have a relationship with Fizz,” he said of their current status. “But I think there should be an opportunity for us to talk one day. I don’t know when that is.”

The 35-year-old then went on to clarify that he and Fizz had an “in-and-out” friendship for 20 years before Fizz ultimately decided to date his ex behind his back. But they were on the last leg of the first “Millenium Tour” with B2K before he learned what was going on.

“A birdie just kind of floated the info to me,” he said coyly. “That was kind of it.”

The “Let Me Hold You” collaborators will also be accompanied by Sammie , Pretty Ricky , Ying Yang Twins and Lloyd .

The tour was scheduled to kick off last year but was postponed due to the pandemic. Fans took to social media to express their excitement for the tour.

Omarion Announces Dates for ‘Vbz on Vbz Tour'

* Omarion is hitting the road this spring with his highly anticipated “Omarion: Vbz on Vbz Tour,” featuring a lineup of artists, including Vedo , Tone Stith , WanMor , and Jastin Martin , per the news release. 

The tour, in partnership with the esteemed Black Promoters Collective, kicks off in early April in Grand Prairie, TX, making stops in Cleveland, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington D.C. before wrapping up in Atlanta in May.

The general ticket sale begins Friday, February 23, at 10 AM local time. Fans can access tickets here .

Meanwhile, the multi-platinum-selling R&B artist recently "expanded his musical repertoire with the Full Circle Sonic Book Series. It's first installment debuted at #1 on iTunes R&B Soul chart. The lead single, "Serious", soared to #1 on Amazon and iTunes and #18 on Billboard's R&B Airplay Chart. The highly anticipated Sonic Book Two mirrored its predecessor’s success by also debuting at #1 on both Amazon and iTunes R&B/Soul Charts," per the news release.

The 27-city tour is set to kick off on Oct. 1 in Los Angeles, California

They are back!

It looks like millennials are in for a treat as it was just announced on Friday that “The Millennium Tour 2021” is on the way. Bow Wow and Omarion are set to headline the tour and they are bringing along some of your favorite artists from the early aughts such as Soulja Boy and Ashanti .

We back outside!!!!!,” captioned an image of the 27-city tour schedule set to kick off on Oct. 1 in Los Angeles, California.

Omarion also took to Instagram to post about the tour he will headline without his group B2K.

“ #Millenniumtour2021 FINALLY WE BACK!,” he wrote alongside a video of himself coming out on stage along with the tour date schedule.

It’s unclear why the “Touch” singer is not bringing along B2K but drama surrounded the group back in 2019 when one of the group’s members Lil’ Fizz was dating the mother of the “Touch” singer’s kids. Last February, Omarion said he is open to speaking with Lil’ Fizz, per theGrio .

During an interview with Big Boy , Omarion was uncharacteristically candid and revealed how he found out that his former friend was having a sexual and romantic relationship with the mother of his children.

“I don’t have a relationship with Fizz,” he said of their current status. “But I think there should be an opportunity for us to talk one day. I don’t know when that is.”

The 35-year-old then went on to clarify that he and Fizz had an “in-and-out” friendship for 20 years before Fizz ultimately decided to date his ex behind his back. But they were on the last leg of the first “Millenium Tour” with B2K before he learned what was going on.

“A birdie just kind of floated the info to me,” he said coyly. “That was kind of it.”

The “Let Me Hold You” collaborators will also be accompanied by Sammie , Pretty Ricky , Ying Yang Twins and Lloyd .

The tour was scheduled to kick off last year but was postponed due to the pandemic. Fans took to social media to express their excitement for the tour.

Another added: “Well, I said I was gonna stay put in October but it’s looking like I’ll be in LA for the Millenium Tour.”

Omarion Tour Dates 2024

R&B veteran Omarion has announced a spring 2024 tour across America supporting both chapters of his new album project 'Full Circle' . His VBZ on VBZ Tour takes place in April/May visiting major markets like Houston, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Vedo , Tone Stith , WanMor and Jastin Martin.

'Sonic Book One' and 'Sonic Book Two' of Omarion's 'Full Circle' album project were both released in 2023 via his own Omarion Worldwide label. The albums feature guest appearances by Sevyn Streeter and Rileyy Lanez among many others. Back in 2021, the Grammy-nominated singer joined forces with Bow Wow and launched The Millennium Tour along with support from Ashanti , Pretty Ricky , Soulja Boy , Lloyd , Ying Yang Twins and Sammie . Two years prior, the same tour saw Omarion reunite with fellow B2K members Lil' Fizz, J-Boog and Raz-B and was also joined by Mario , Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Bobby V , Ying Yang Twins and Chingy .

Omarion appeared on the Pop / Rock scene with the appearance of the album 'O' released on February 22, 2005. The single 'O' quickly became a fan favorite and made Omarion one of the most popular acts at that time. After that, Omarion published the hugely popular album '21' which includes some of the most beloved work from the Omarion catalog. '21' contains the track 'Entourage' which has made itself the most well-known for fans to experience during the gigs. Omarion Announces Millennium Tour Is Coming Back This Fall

Now that outside is opening back up, the Millennium Tour is making a comeback.

Omarion   announced that the second version of the mega-popular tour is slated to return later this year. He added footage of the tour with the caption,

“ #Millenniumtour2021 FINALLY WE BACK!”

Bow Wow  also took to Instagram to spread the news. He shared tour dates with the caption,

“We got unfinished business to handle! #millenniumtour2021 Starring: Bow wow & Omarion. With special guest Ashanti and more… get your tickets now!”

He also noted it’s the

“(1st arena tour to roll out since the pandemic) WE OWE YOU GUYS. This what you been waiting on… lets go! We back outside!!!!!”

The Millennium Tour 2020 kicked off last year after a successful run in 2019. But it was cut short due to COVID-19.

In 2019,  B2K, Pretty Ricky, Mario, Lloyd, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy,  and  Bobby Valentino  brought the tour around the nation for the first time. That tour made B2K $5 million.

On the heels of The Millennium Tour’s success , Omarion announced plans on Tuesday (Nov. 26) to return with the Millennium Tour 2020 next year, but he will be joined by  Face Off collaborator Bow Wow , rather than B2K and the group’s drama for this go around. The pair of heartthrobs linked up for their joint project back in late 2007. 

The rest of the lineup is loaded with 2000s fan-favorites to give concertgoers a heavy dose of nostalgia. Look for appearances from  Soulja Boy , Pretty Ricky , Lloyd,  Sammie  and the Ying Yang Twins  to grace stages across North America. Tickets go on sale Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. local time. Venues and show dates are expected to be announced on Monday (Dec. 2). 

With 2020 serving as Omarion’s 20th year in the entertainment business, the “Post to Be” singer reflected on his unpredictable journey in the music industry. “2020 is my 20th year entertaining. Blood, Sweat & Tears. Always giving you the best that I got. Thank you for growing with me,” he wrote.

Omarion Cancels ‘Vbz on Vbz Tour’

Omarion’s headlining Vbz on Vbz Tour has been canceled, Rated R&B has learned. A reason for the cancellation was not disclosed when confirmed by a rep.

All Vbz on Vbz Tour dates listed under Omarion’s upcoming shows on Ticketmaster are marked as canceled. Additionally, all the tour dates on his official website are no longer listed.

The 20-city tour was scheduled to begin April 5 and included supporting guests Vedo , Tone Stith , Jastin Martin , and WanMor .

On March 15, Omarion sent a cryptic email to his mailing list: “I’ve heard your voices loud and clear, and I’m thrilled to announce that we’re bringing to life exactly what you’ve been asking for! Stay tuned—because trust me, it’s going to be an unforgettable vibe!” 

He also shared the message on his Instagram account, captioning it, “Stay tuned, brb. Going live tonight.”

During the 13-minute Instagram live broadcast, Omarion told viewers, “I came here to let y’all know that I hear y’all and I listened. We’re taking a beat to give you what you want, so make sure you stay tuned.”

Omarion didn’t spend much time talking about the tour nor did he explicitly say that the dates were canceled. Instead, he focused on promoting his latest single “Taking Off” featuring BJRNCK, which was reissued as an EP with slowed, sped-up, instrumental and acapella versions. 

Speaking of “Taking Off,” the bedroom jam debuted at No. 28 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart during the week of March 30. Since then, the song has climbed to No. 25.

“Taking Off” appears on Omarion’s latest album,  Full Circle: Sonic Book Two ,  released in 2023.

Circling back to the tour, while it has been canceled, Omarion does have a couple of shows that fans can anticipate.

On July 27, he will perform at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, California. Then, on Sept. 7, O will perform at the I Love RnB Festival in Los Angeles, California.
