Duration: 10 to 11 hours

This unforgettable journey will take you to Hana, considered to be the "heart of Maui". It's a 52-mile journey that begins as a perfectly-paved highway and ends in the small pastoral town of Hana.  This famous road features 617 curves and 54 one-lane bridges, and throughout, you'll get to witness first hand magnificent seascapes, waterfalls, botanical gardens and more!  Those who don't stop may drive it within 3 hours,  but those are the people who will generally say "we hated it"! The ideal way is to just enjoy the ride and not worry about the driving, and while you are at it, learn about the history and the local legends from a local guide. Your tour will make several stops at the most beautiful scenic points and pools you'll be able to swim and get refreshed in.   But before you start exploring, you'll get breakfast at famous Charley's, in Pai'a Town, a favorite hang-out for surfers, writers, hippies and part-time Maui resident celebrities, such as Willie Nelson. As you head to Hana, you'll get to work up an appetite, in time for your lunch stop, at Travaasa Hana Hotel, a 5-star resort, where you'll not just enjoy a delicious lunch, but incredible views of the Hana shoreline. Platinum tour vans have been custom hold up to 9 passengers.   Their guides are well versed on the history and legends of our Paradise island and will be sharing fun and interesting stories throughout your tour.   You'll not only tour in style, but in safety, as Platinum Tour buses come equipped with retractable lap seat belts.
