Pitbull announces Party After Dark concert tour, T-Pain to join as special guest

Dale! Mr. Worldwide is hitting the road once again.

Latin rap star Pitbull is set to deliver a mix of his career-spanning hits on the upcoming Party After Dark Tour. The U.S. trek follows numerous successful solo tours for the "Give Me Everything" rapper, including the triple-headlining Trilogy Tour with Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin .

Produced by Live Nation, the 26-city tour kicks off on Aug. 21 in Bristow, Virginia, making stops across the U.S. before wrapping in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Oct. 5.  Fellow rapper T-Pain will serve as a special guest on the tour.

The Grammy-winning Pitbull is known for a slew of hit singles , including "Fireball," "Timber" with Kesha , "Hotel Room Service," "Give Me Everything" with Afrojack and Ne-Yo and "Time of Our Lives" with Ne-Yo.

T-Pain, known for singles like "Bartender," "Buy U a Drank" and "Booty Wurk" is popular for his use of auto-tune pitch with electronic-style vocal performances. His most recent album, "On Top of The Covers," was released in 2023.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at LiveNation.com .

There are also a number of presales in the days leading up to the general on-sale. Live Nation , Ticketmaster and Talking Stick Resort are hosting presales from 10 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. Thursday.

A Citi cardmember presale will be held from 10 a.m. Wednesday through 11:59 p.m. Thursday at citientertainment.com . During the same time period, there'll be an artist presale and a VIP packages presale at livenation.com .

There's also a Spotify presale from noon until 11:59 p.m. Thursday.

Pitbull And T-Pain Will Take Over North America This Summer On Their ‘Party After Dark Tour’

Pitbull , in case you’re somehow not aware, is Mr. Worldwide (or Mr. Armando Christian Pérez if you’re looking at his driver’s license). Well, in a few months, he’s going to be Mr. United States: Today (April 23), he announced the Party After Dark Tour , on which he’ll be joined by special guest T-Pain .

The trek runs from late August to early October and includes stops in New York, Virginia, California, and some other states. Lil Jon will be there for a couple of dates, too.

Tickets are set to go on sale starting on April 26 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation . VIP packages — including things like a backstage tour, VIP lounge, and photo opportunities — are also available and more information can be found here .

Slated for 26 American cities this August through October, the tour rolls up to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater Aug. 31 with T-Pain as Pitbull's special guest. It will be the veteran rapper's second Milwaukee appearance this summer, following his third annual Wiscansin Fest at the Rave in June.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the box office (200 N. Harbor Dr.) and amfamamp.com . Prices have yet to be announced.

The Spice Girls reunited at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party on Saturday, where they danced to their hit song “Stop” in a video posted by David Beckham on Instagram.

Posh Spice did the signature dance to the hit alongside fellow former bandmates Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Melanie C and Emma Bunton at her birthday celebration at Oswald’s, a private members club in London.

Victoria Beckham reposted the video to her own Instagram account, captioning it: “Best night ever! Happy birthday to me! I love you all so much.” She also added the hashtag #SpiceUpYourLife.

Spice Girls reunite at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party

David Beckham shares video of former girl group singing their hit Stop at private club Oswald’s in London, as Mel B hints at a tour

The Spice Girls have reunited for a rare performance featuring all five members – at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party, where they danced to their classic hit Stop.

The party was held on Saturday at Oswald’s, a private members’ club in London, with the likes of Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsay also attending.

During the party, Beckham – along with fellow Spice Girls Geri Halliwell-Horner, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton – sang along to Stop as well as performing the signature choreography from the single off their 1997 sophomore album Spiceworld.

Beckham’s husband, David Beckham , posted a video to Instagram where he gleefully looked on. “I mean come on,” the 48-year-old former footballer captioned the video.

Victoria responded in the comments, writing: “Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much!”

Brown also hinted at a potential reunion tour. “About last night #tourdatescomingsoon,” she shared, reposting the video to her Instagram story.

Last month, Brown teased in an interview with Today that the Spice Girls were working on something “very good” together – though she did not confirm rumours of a tour at the time.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Spice Girls, who formed in 1994 and officially split six years later in 2000.

They have reunited multiple times over the years – most recently as part of their 2019 Spice World tour, which Beckham did not attend. The last time all five members performed publicly was in 2012 for the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.

In 2023 the Beckhams’ marriage was explored in a four-part Netflix documentary series, which also addressed his rise to fame as a footballer and the extensive press speculation that he allegedly had an affair while playing for Real Madrid in 2003.

After a multi-year hiatus, the indie pop maestros, Wild Party, are set to release a new full-length album in 2023. After releasing their debut record, Phantom Pop, in October of 2014, the band toured extensively during the following year and a half before finally calling it quits at the end of 2015.

“We played probably 100 shows in 2014 and 2015… but there weren’t a lot of people at the shows who knew the music, and we weren’t making a lot of money…things just weren’t working out,” frontman Lincoln Kreifels recalls. Family and financial obligations meant taking the focus away from music for a while.

While Phantom Pop’s infectious melodies and danceable grooves never found a home with a larger market in 2015, the band’s nearly decade-old release has recently found a new, devoted fan base online. “The Spotify algorithm seemed to suggest us to a lot of new fans who were listening to bands that sounded similar to us, and things really began to take off around 2018.” To date, the band has hundreds of millions of streams and a half a million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

A newly found fan-base reinvigorated Kreifels and long-time collaborator Lucas Hughes, and they began demoing songs again in 2018. However, it wasn’t until a close call gave Kreifels what he describes as a re-awakening: “I got really sick about 9 about months ago, and it was almost a miraculous healing… I went from almost dying––my liver almost failed… but I came out of that floating almost, really thankful to be given another chance… music is something I need to pursue.”

Together with band member and producer, Ethan Kaufmann, Wild Party has been steadily dropping singles since 2021, culminating into the band’s 2023 EP release, Get Up. The yet-to-be-named full length EP (expected at the end of 2023) will continue to feature the band’s signature indie-pop sound, albeit with more creative ambition. “It’s pretty similar (but) it’s a little more experimental in a lot of ways… there are going to be some songs that aren’t structured so pop-centric.”

When asked about touring, Kreifels expresses enthusiasm, “The plan is play shows consistently… (and) make as many real connections with people as possible… (we want to) try and make the world a better place with our music.”
