• Compression Level: Most compression socks for travel have graduated compression, meaning they’re tighter in the foot, gradually easing up at the top of the sock. Average wearers without any vein issues should aim for a low level of compression for travel, usually in the 15 to 20 mmHg range. “For those with venous insufficiency, a high level of compression—30 to 40 mmHg—is advised,” says Dr. Lobkova.
• Height: Most compression socks for travel are knee-highs, but there are also quarter- and ankle-length styles available. Prince William Brings Prince George to a Soccer Match

The father-son outing is the first public appearance for William since Kate Middleton announced her cancer diagnosis.

Last night, Prince William made his first appearance since Kate's cancer news broke: He attended a soccer match with George in Birmingham, England. The father-son duo cheered on Aston Villa during the UEFA Europa Conference League quarterfinals.

Prince William is a longtime Aston Villa fan. "A long time ago at school, I got into football big-time. I was looking around for clubs. All my friends at school were either Man United or Chelsea fans and I didn’t want to follow the run-of-the-mill teams," Prince William told the BBC in 2015. "I wanted to have a team that was more mid-table that could give me more emotional rollercoaster moments. I have got friends of mine who support Aston Villa and one of the first FA Cup games I went to was Bolton vs. Aston Villa back in 2000. It was the atmosphere, the camaraderie and I really felt that there was something I could connect with."

William passed his love for the team onto his eldest son, Prince George, who is also a big Aston Villa fan. At the game last night, sports journalist Neil Moxley asked the Prince of Wales "Is George now part of the pride?" (The "pride" is a phrase used to describe the team's fans, as their mascot is a lion.) William replied, "Oh yes, he's loving it."

George and his siblings go back to school beginning next week, on April 17, and it's likely we'll see more of Prince William then, but Kate will remain out of the public eye as she undergoes what Kensington Palace called " preventative chemotherapy ."

The Wales kids know their mom has cancer, and the delay in sharing the news with the world was related to making sure they were OK. "It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be okay," Kate said in her video message sharing her cancer news. "As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits."
