Description:

This private boat tour of the Amalfi Coast from Naples it's one of the most beautiful and fun experiences that you can enjoy during your trip to Italy.

Together with your loved one or group of friends you will enjoy the intimacy of a private  luxury yacht for a truly unique experience.

Your private skipper will meet you at the port of Naples where you will board the private luxury yacht of your choice (contact us for other pick-up locations). This excursion is a wonderful way to see Amalfi and Positano if you are coming on a cruise or if you are staying in hotel in Naples. If you are on a cruise we can  meet you at the cruise terminal and transfer you to the pier where you will get onboard your private yacht (optional service) or we will give you directions to reach the point of embarkation on your own by taxi (about 20 min ride).

You will sail along this spectacular shoreline to see the most beautiful places: the ancient town of Amalfi , with its 12th century cathedral; Praiano , a village that remained unchanged in time;  Conca dei Marini , with the lover's arch made by nature in the rocks; the  Fjord of Furore and its hidden lagoon tucked between two cliffs; Li Galli Islands , a privately owned piece of paradise; Nerano , a small fishing village and finally Positano , the trendy town with colorful houses and lush vegetation climbing up the cliffs.

Along the way you will also have some time for sightseeing on the mainland : depending on your wishes (and subject to the timing of your cruise) we will stop to visit the towns of Amalfi and/or Positano and you will have about two hours to go around exploring on your own.

We will also stop for swimming in gorgeous spots that can be reached only from the sea. During the day there will be time to have lunch in a local restaurant to enjoy the delicious food in one of the towns along the coast. Lunch is not included in the price but we will be happy to book a restaurant for you.

This will be a private tour : you will not be part of a group, it will just be you and your party. The yacht and the private skipper will be entirely dedicated to you. The itinerary can be customized.

The price that you see when selecting the number of people is for our standard type of boat (25 feet - 7.6 mt) maximum for 6 people. It is possible to upgrade to bigger and more luxurious yachts by selecting the various choices in the options menu (inside the reservation box, in the upper right side of this page). Larger yachts up to 120 ft are available upon request.

All boats are equipped with toilet, kitchen, indoor and outdoor shower, stereo system. Onboard you will find; towels, drinks and snorkeling gear.

The meeting point is at the port of Naples (details will be emailed). The timing can be adjusted to fit the scedule of your cruise ship. If you wish to have a different meeting point and/or a private car transfer from the hotel to the port please contact us .

The tour is subject to weather and sea conditions. A full refund will be given if the tour needs to be cancelled when the weather conditions cannot guarantee the safety of the navigation.

Capri Island Boat Tour from the port of Naples

Our tour of the Amalfi Coast was fantastic as our boat captain showed us the area and dropped us off at different places for shopping and later for lunch. He always specially positioned the boat for my wife to take extra photographs of hidden little visual treasures along the way. When we said we wanted to swim, he found us an amazing secluded cove and we jumped off the back of the boat. There was a hose to shower off with when we got out and fresh towels waiting. Our captain was in communication with our driver who picked us up to take us to Pompeii where our tour guide was waiting and gave us an intimate look at the site. The entire day was seamless and it was such a relaxing day not worrying about what was next and knowing a team of people were coordinating to give us the best tour.

Andrea is a lifesaver! We booked a boat tour of the Amalfi coast with him, and the day before our tour, I discovered that I booked for the wrong date! The date I actually booked was to be the following day. However, Andrea came to the rescue and was able, within a few short hours, to remedy the situation. He was so kind and understanding. We are so grateful to him because we had a spectacular tour from Naples to Amalfi and Positano. Our skipper even brought some of his mothers homemade Limoncello for us! It was truly a special experience and I’m so grateful to Andrea for making it happen for us. He will be my “go to” for any Italy excursions in the future.

Your visit to the haunting ruins of Pompeii will take you back to the fateful day in 79 A.D. when neighboring Mt. Vesuvius erupted, covering the prosperous Roman city in deadly volcanic ash. On your visit to Pompeii you will have free time to explore the fascinating site, we can hire in advance for you a tour guide so you can be expertly led around, let them answer your questions and bring the city back to life. You'll see the Forum, the Thermal Baths, Vetti's House and the "Lupanare" brothel, all buried by volcanic ashes during the eruption.  

HERCULANEUM :

You reach the excavations by walking down a broad avenue from the site entrance gate. It's a fabulous walk, with spectacular views across the sea and with the gridded streets of Herculaneum, fringed by cypresses and palm trees, lying snugly below the terraced walkway. The force of the eruption on this day in AD79, and a subsequent eruption in 1631, raised the land mass surrounding the smothered town to over 20m above its former level, so that even when stripped of its volcanic coating it now resembles a sunken city. Yet, strangely, the overall effect is not depressing. It is the smaller things that fascinate here. At the bakery, you can see a collection of baking tools. The weaver's shop contains the remains of a wooden loom. Out in the open, for reasons that soon become obvious, you find the wool press - along with the basins in which skeins of wool were painstakingly bathed in animal urine as a cleansing agent.

The site of Herculaneum is closed on a Wednesday as of 2022. You must pre-purchase skip the line tickets if visiting during the earlier part of the day.

Positano is one of the most famous and picturesque villages to visit on the Amalfi Coast. Pastel-coloured homes clinging gently to the mountain side. Starting from the Piazza Mulino follow the the traffic free streets, visiting the myriad shops on the way down to the waterfront and beach. Here on the sea front you will find wonderful restaurants and bars, where you can sit eating or drinking and gaze back up at the beautiful town you have just strolled through.  

Perched on tufa rock rising 50 mtrs above the sea, with a panoramic view over the bay of Naples, Sorrento is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Italy. Its enchanting nature encourages you to just sit in the piazzas and take in the atmosphere. The local people have gone along way to make visitors feel welcome and safe. The district is especially noted for its oranges, lemons, lace, nuts and the town for inlaid woodwork (intarsia). The local liquor (limoncello) is very popular and delightful to drink in the evening while people watching.  

MOUNT VESUVIUS :

Vesuvius is neither the highest nor the most dangerous volcano in the world, but the eruption that buried Pompeii and Herculaneum has made it one of the most famous. Vesuvius, mainland Europe's only active volcano has erupted around a hundred times since the fateful morning in August 79AD; the last eruption was in 1944. The 1,281 metre summit of Vesuvius can be reached after a 30 minute walk. Views into the crater, over Naples, and on the far end, over to Pompeii are breathtaking.
