Let’s take a look at the epic $40m private jet which the Crazy in Love singer purchased as a Father’s Day gift for her husband back in 2012.

She gave him the stunning plane, which features a full kitchen and two bathrooms, after the birth of their daughter, Blue Ivy.

This is how she topped the Bugatti Veyron, which she gifted him in 2010 for his 41st birthday.

Before you even step onboard, Jay Z has already made his mark.

The exterior is adorned with the monogram, S. Carter.

There is plenty of room for the whole family and a full team of staff.

Overall it can accommodate up to 16 passengers and sleep up to seven.

The couple’s customized configuration of the interior is perfect for combining family time and relaxation with their business needs.

In the main section of the cabin, there is a four-seater table, a spacious divan, and roomy passenger seating.

The color scheme is elegant with neutral tones on the walls, cream hand-crafted leather seats, and gold trim.

The floor is soft dark-brown with patterned white squares.

The plane also has enough space to accommodate business meetings as the music couple jet between their destinations.

For some family time at 30,000 feet, the plane has a living area with a large TV.

Beyonce got Jay-Z a $40 Million Bombardier Challenger 850. This private jet features a wide space enough for an estimated 15-19 passengers —that is already enough for the entire family, plus the nannies. According to CW44 Tampa Bay , the Beyonce’s luxurious gift also boasts a kitchen, living room, bedroom and two bathrooms.

It is no secret that commercial airplane food is not that great. Apparently, Jay-Z’s private jet reportedly offers quality airplane food. The private jet has 3-zone cabins which features as forward and aft lavs, the Business Jet Traveller reported. It also has a huge forward galley, a baggage compartment from the aft lav and a center lounge, which can turn an entertainment room, lounge or stateroom. The private plane also features a digital cabin entertainment system where guests can take advantage of, as well as touch screen controls, phone and wifi.

In addition, Bombardier Challenger 850 has different configurations. There’s executive-seating configuration and a corporate configuration, Corporate Jet Investor reported. The executive-seating configuration, which most fans presume as the choice of configuration for the couple, the cabin can hold a four-seat conference table, two 3-seat divan, sleeping areas for seven passengers. As for the corporate configuration, it can hold 30 passengers but it wouldn’t be as spacious as the executive-seating.

Here’s a bit of history of Bombardier Challenger 850. Apparently, Jay-Z’s private jet is the largest, super mid-size business aircraft manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. The said company reportedly started manufacturing the Bombardier Challenger 850 in 2006 based on the 50-seater CRJ200 airliner.

For those who are very particular with the technical specifications, Jay-Z’s private jet reportedly has an 2X General Electric CF34-3B1 engine. The avionics is a Rockwell Collins ProLine 4. Jay-Z’s private jet has a max cruise speed of 459 knots (850km/h) with a power of 8.729 pound-force. The service ceiling is at 41,000 feet and the rate of climb is at 12 feet/minute (0.06 meters/second).

The extravagant gesture of Beyoncé presenting Jay-Z with a private jet on Father's Day stands out as possibly the most lavish.

Back in 2012, Beyoncé bestowed upon Jay-Z an exceedingly intricate and costly present. The songstress behind Crazy in Love acquired a private jet worth $40 million to commemorate her husband's initial Father's Day. This grand gesture followed the birth of their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, a couple of months earlier, in January.

According to CBS , Beyoncé bought a Bombardier Challenger 850 for Jay-Z, boasting the capacity to accommodate up to 19 passengers. This lavish gift is equipped with a bedroom, two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Notably, the arrangement of the luxurious leather seats can be flexibly reconfigured to suit the passenger count and the specific nature of the trip.

As per The US Sun , both of the aircraft's bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs, while the kitchen and bar are fully provisioned. Inside the bedroom, a king-sized bed offers comfort, and the living room features a generously sized flat-screen TV with built-in WiFi for seamless streaming. Externally, the plane is adorned with a prominent Puma decal, and Jay-Z's authentic name, Shawn Carter, is showcased with his signature "S. Carter."

Throughout their marital journey, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have shared a history of indulging in opulent gifts. On his 41st birthday, Beyoncé presented her husband with a remarkable $2 million Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, a vehicle so exclusive that even she had to endure a year-long waitlist to acquire it. Jay-Z and Beyoncé are among the wealthiest and most famous couples in the world. They are also two of the only celebrities who have their own private jet. Here are all the details you want to know about the musical couple’s private plane.

In 2012, Beyoncé and Jay-Z joined the very short list of stars who own private jets. Other members of this elite club include Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Oprah Winfrey, and Kim Kardashian . 

Private planes cost millions of dollars, but the celebrity couple can afford it with a combined income of about $1.8 billion. According to Cosmopolitan, Forbes estimated Beyoncé ’s net worth at around $440 million, while Jay-Z has a reported net worth of $1.4 billion.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé own a Bombardier Challenger 850, manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. The $40 million aircraft can hold up to 19 passengers and has a kitchen, bedroom, two bathrooms, and a living room.

The jet’s kitchen is fully stocked and includes a bar, and each of the plane’s two full bathrooms is equipped with a bathtub. The bedroom boasts a king-sized bed with extra padding around the edges for comfort and safety. The living room has a large flat-screen TV with Wifi to stream any show or movie the musical couple might care to watch while on board. 

The floors of the plane are black with white dots, and the layout of the plush leather seats can be reconfigured to accommodate the purpose of the trip and the number of passengers. 

The jet’s exterior has a large Puma decal and one more personal touch – the monogram S. Carter for Jay-Z ’s real name, Shawn Carter. 

The private jet is 48.4 feet long, 8.2 feet wide, and 6.1 feet tall. It can reach speeds over 520 mph.

Beyoncé and Jay Z return to reality as they land in LA on private jet following singer’s dazzling, yet controversial, performance in Dubai

It’s back to normality for Beyonce following her spectacular show in Dubai, which saw her return to the stage for the first time in over four years.

Queen Bey was reportedly paid an eye-watering $24million (£19.4m) for the exclusive 90-minute concert at the grand reveal of Atlantis The Royal, with a crowd full of A-listers.

But all good things must come to an end, and the Halo hitmaker has now returned to Los Angeles, California with her adorable family in tow.

Never not travelling in style, the singer, 41, and husband Jay Z , 53, were spotted arriving at Van Nuys Airport in LA on their new Bombardier Global 7500.

Keeping it comfy, the Grammy-winning star flew in a black tracksuit and pulled the hood over her blonde tresses upon leaving the aircraft.

Similarly, rapper Jay Z – real name Shawn Corey Carter – donned a tracksuit and blue tie-dye bucket hat.

Meanwhile, twins, daughter Rumi and son Sir, both five, looked adorable in pastel sweatshirts, having also been in Dubai to cheer on their mother from the audience.

However, it was eldest daughter Blue Ivy, 11, who had the honour of joining Bey on stage for the show for a very special duet.

The pair duetted on Brown Skin Girl from 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift, wowing fans with their first live duet of the number in a gorgeous moment Blue will certainly never forget.

Wowing a 1,500-strong crowd, the American superstar performed all the fan favourites such as Crazy In Love, Naughty Girl, Halo and XO – culminating with a rendition of Drunk In Love as fireworks lit up the night sky.

There’s no denying that Beyoncé put on an incredible performance, with three outfits, killer choreography, and vocals bound to give anyone goosebumps.

Giving the people what they want, the star even surprised fans by singing tunes either previously unheard live, or rarely performed, such as Beautiful Liar, which Beyoncé originally released with Shakira and had not sang for fans in 15 years.

But, despite Beyoncé giving it her all, the show wasn’t without criticism.

Homosexuality is illegal in Dubai, leaving fans divided given that Beyoncé has been a longtime advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has a devout queer fanbase.

Many people online also called out ‘double standards’ following the celebration around Beyoncé’s gig but the anger directed towards David Beckham amid his ambassadorship for Qatar during the World Cup, where being gay is also illegal.

Defending his daughter, Matthew Knowles insisted the star ‘wouldn’t intentionally hurt someone’.

Speaking to TMZ , the former Destiny’s Child manager, 71, said the concert united a diverse audience and that she gave and received respect from the UAE. 

He said people who weren’t at the show might not understand, but she ‘gave respect and got respect back from the country’.

Beyoncé sparkles as she makes surprise appearance at 'Renaissance' event in Brazil

Beyoncé made her fans in Brazil very happy during a surprise appearance.

On Dec. 21, a special event for “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” was held in Salvador, Brazil, where a party called “Club Renaissance” took place after a screening. To the surprise of many, Beyoncé stepped out and greeted her fans.

The singer later shared some stunning behind-the-scenes photos from her trip and the event on Instagram, including snaps of her on a private jet, her appearance on stage and photos of her holding up a Brazilian flag.

Her publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, also shared photos of Beyoncé, who dazzled the crowd in a silver sequined dress that featured a cape.

"Move out the way when the queen touches down in Bahia, Brazil!!🇧🇷🇧🇷 what a time! Thank you Brazil. Thank you @tvglobo . Thank you @idw.company . And my partner in this RENAISSANCE journey, @justeenahoh !!! You are a fierce queen! Photos by @mason.poole ," Noel-Schure captioned the post.

In video shared on X , the singer can be heard telling the crowd, “I came because I love you so much.”

Fans were screaming for the multi-Grammy-winning artist. In one Instagram story shared by Brazilian entertainment website Hugo Gloss, she tells the rowdy crowd, “Everybody on mute,” with no one following directions because of excitement.

“It was very important to be here, right here,” she can be seen telling the crowd in another Instagram story shared by the outlet.

Prior to her surprise appearance, Bey had been teasing her followers with clues.

Hours earlier she posted a photo of a private jet with her iconic “Renaissance” silver horse peeking from the open door.

She also changed her location on her Instagram profile, which shows a red pin next to Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

On Dec. 19, the “Alien Superstar” singer announced that her tour film was being extended to 15 additional countries, including Brazil.

“Y’all didn’t have to break my website,” the singer is heard saying over a teaser announcing the news. “But I told y’all, the renaissance is not over.”

“Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” was released in the U.S. on Dec. 1. Following a couple red carpet events, one held in London with Taylor Swift attending , Bey shared a heartfelt message about the project.

Thanking AMC Theatres and everyone who worked on the film, she said she couldn't thank people enough for their support and outpouring love.

“It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done because of the short turn around time,” she wrote on Instagram on Dec. 6. “I practically slept in the edit, color, and mix sessions. The race against time continued in order to get this film out so quickly. But it was so worth all the grind.”

She added, in part, that she loved “seeing everyone all dressed up in their most opulent lewks in the theaters. The mute challenges still happening, even in the theater!! Y’all are cracking me up. Please keep that energy going. I can’t wait to see what else yall do.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z were spotted arriving into Miami with their family. The stars and their three children were seen stepping off a luxury private jet.

Beyonce , who is currently on her Renaissance World Tour, kept it lowkey and causal in a black zip-up jumper. Her full black outfit allowed her to keep a low profile as she stepped off the luxury vessel. She wore her long, blonde hair down and used the guard rail to guide her down the plane's steps.

Her husband, Jay-Z , wore a matching white t-shirt and bucket hat. The t-shirt displayed a small star emblem in the top left and he wore a black bandana around his neck. His trousers deviated from the colour scheme, instead opting for a khaki hue. The rapper added a silver watch to his wrist and shielded his eyes with a pair of black glasses. He also clutched a black bag to his side.

Their daughter, Blue Ivy, 11, followed Jay-Z down the stairs solo and she looked just like mum in laidback attire. She opted to wear an oversized, slouchy jumper. The sweater was blue and had 'East Hampton' written across the front. Blue pulled her dark hair back and shielded her eyes with a pair of sunglasses. She paired the looked with relaxed black trousers.

As for their other children, twins, Rumi and Sir, six, were spotted with the family and security as they helped escort them from the plane. Typically, the children are kept out of the public eye, but Blue has been performing onstage with her mum. Rumi appeared much more dressed up than the rest of her family. She wore a matching pink outfit. It included a ruffled cami and a skirt with buttons running down the centre. Rumi kept her hair back and walked independently down the plane's steps.

Sir was carried down the stairs. He, also, wore a matching outfit, but this one was much more casual. In fact, it appeared to be some sort of pajama set. The nighttime wear was white with a mixture of colorful designs. Sir had his hair in space buns.

The next stop of Beyonce's tour is Friday, August 18, so it is likely that her family will be in the crowd to support her. From there, her tour is scheduled to continue across North America until early October. Previously, Beyonce performed in Europe, but is now back in the United States.

Recently, Beyonce's show ran late, resulting in some fans to be potentially stranded because public transit shutdown. In order to aid them, she paid the city $100,000 (£78,500) to fund late night travel. The show had been postponed due to circumstances beyond her control, severe weather.

Not only does she look effortlessly beautiful coming off the plane, but she has stunned fans with her gorgeous on-stage looks. Most recently, fans were blown away by a dazzling, sparkly bodysuit. What truly set this look apart was how the illusion fabric made her look nearly naked.

In a recent Instagram post, she also showed off another look. This time, Beyonce wore a dress with a thigh slit. It was a charming silver color layered over a long sleeved, high neck silver top. She added on some silver glasses and gloves, too.

She now has a net worth of $800 million and she’s certainly not shy about spending her cash.

Her private jet, for example, looks outstanding.

Beyonce made a name for herself as one fifth of the now defunct R&B group ‘ Destiny’s Child ‘.

But her career really took off when she went solo.

After releasing seven studio albums, and having married fellow music artist and mogul Jay-Z, Beyonce is now truly well off.

On her way to Brazil for her latest show, the 42-year-old star shared images of her private jet – and it looks the part.

The jet in question is a Bombardier Challenger 850, which is one of the largest private jets available on the market.

It seats up to 16 people and it’s pretty large, with a wingspan of 21.21 meters (69 feet).

It’s fast, too.

The jet has a cruising speed of 850 km/h (528 mph) and a range of 3,235 miles, which is more than enough to travel from anywhere in the US to Brazil.

As you can imagine, the jet is fully kitted to accommodate Beyonce’s (and Jay-Z’s) personal requirements and taste.

Beyonce isn’t a billionaire (yet), but Jay-Z is.

So this means that, together, they have a combined net worth in excess of $3 billion.

The power couple can afford just about anything they want.

For example, they’re rumored to be one of three lucky owners (along with soccer star Mauro Icardi ) of the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail – the world’s second most expensive car.

And that’s just because Rolls-Royce themselves decided to beat their own record by releasing an even more expensive model, dubbed ‘ La Rose Noire ‘.

Carter” is also spacious for business meetings and family time with a large TV living area. With so many features and five-star facilities, why would anyone want to leave this in-air carrier?

Previously, Swift owned a Dassault Falcon 900. This aircraft, registered N898TS, was purchased by Swift's team in 2011 for approximately $40 million. Since then, she has upgraded her fleet and sold off the Falcon 900. As of February this year, N898TS was owned by Triangle Real Estate, based in Saint Peters, Missouri, per FlightAware .

However, Taylor Swift also operates another aircraft. This jet, registered N621MM, is a Dassault Falcon 7X, an ultra-long-range business jet, according to data from JetSpy . This aircraft was originally manufactured in 2009 and is registered as serial number 27.

The jet was originally purchased by Willowbrook Ford, based in Illinois, in 2009. However, Swift and her team purchased the aircraft in May 2018, via a holding company called Island Jet, based in Nashville, Tennessee.

About the Dassault Falcon 7X

The Falcon 7X is one of Dassault's most popular business jets. This large-cabin private jet was unveiled in 2001 at the Paris Air Show. It was developed from the Falcon 900, which Swift previously owned, but expanded many performance measures, including range and cruise speed.

The engines are Pratt & Whitney Canada PW300s, which provide the aircraft with over 6,400 pounds of thrust each. With a range of almost 6,000 nautical miles, Swift can arrange flights of 11 hours or more, reaching intercontinental destinations without the need to stop and refuel.

The cabin comfortably fits 12 passengers, although in a maximum capacity configuration, the 7X can fit up to 16 people in total passengers. In Swift's defense, her PR team has noted that the jet is frequently leased out, so not all the carbon emissions are her personal responsibility. To add to that, the pop star has already purchased carbon offset credits for all of her private jet usage across the entirety of the Eras Tour.

Prince had been at a crossroads before, but never like he was at the beginning of 2004.

On February 8, he opened the 2004 Grammy Awards with a five-minute medley of “Purple Rain,” “Baby I’m a Star” and “Let’s Go Crazy” — with Beyonce — that may be the greatest opening to a music-awards show in television history. Two weeks later, he announced his first major tour in six years, noting that he’d be playing his hits again. “It’s older music, but it’s going to be played in a newer way,” he said, teasing that it might be the last time he played those songs in concert (it wasn’t). Then in March, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where he played a different, much longer medley of his hits during the ceremony — but of course what everyone remembers is his show-stealing solo during the all-star George Harrison tribute, which he finished by throwing his guitar into the audience.

Musically, “Musicology” was a return to accessibility. And although it didn’t reach the peaks of his classic ‘80s material — to be fair, not much music does — it was a vivid sampler of his musical styles that marked the return of the Prince that people knew and loved. It also was a genuine hit: The ticket-CD bundle helped loft the album to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, but it was top 5 in multiple countries all over the world without that boost, even though it didn’t have a big hit single. Recorded over several years, “Musicology”’s musical baseline is the brand of lean funk Prince was raised on — he even shouts out Earth, Wind & Fire, James Brown and others in the album’s lead-off title track, which concludes with brief, scratchy recordings of some of his own hits in a mock scanning-the-radio-dial segment. There are a couple of “Do Me, Baby”-styled bedroom ballads, bombastic rock (“A Million Days”), even the new wave pop he hadn’t done since “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man” on “Cinnamon Girl,” complete with splashes of vintage synthesizers. It winds down with a sultry, slow-burning burst of Aretha on the soulfully bluesy “On the Couch” and concludes with the breezy “Reflection.”

Even though Prince’s musicianship was at a new peak — his blazing guitar work, multi-tracked harmonies, production and arranging show an artist at the top of his craft — he was making music that was easy to like again, which isn’t to say it was simple; but even at its most sophisticated and complex (like the jazzy interlude at the end of “If I Was the Man in Ur Life”), it went down more smoothly. Indeed, the only area where “Musicology” fell flat is in the lyrics, which, like much of Prince’s later material, could be shockingly insipid. In particular, the album’s catchiest track, “Life of the Party,” is marred by lyrics so tossed-off that it sounds like they were written off the top of his head. (“So you’re havin’ a party?/ Goody for you/ All the beautiful people gonna be there/ Yeah, that’s cool.”) Even when he tried gravitas — about politics, war, global warming and moral decay on “Dear Mr. Man” — it wasn’t much better.

Prince was not an artist who’d ever lacked confidence, but by the end of 2004, the full swagger was back in his step. He’d significantly increased his wealth: The tour grossed nearly $90 million, the album was certified double platinum in the U.S. early in 2005, and it spurred sales of his entire catalog in an era when most people still bought CDs. But more importantly, it also marked the return of the Prince people knew, one who wasn’t completely refusing to be who he’d been, and not just musically: The weird outfits and otherworldly hairstyles had been replaced by sleek, classy suits and a short, trim cut.

The year’s creative efforts also gave him a model for how to pursue the rest of his career. Any time he wanted another million (or ten), he’d hit the road in some new and unusual way. Over the following years he played everything from a months-long Las Vegas residency to a premium-price one at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood; from a series of 21 dates at London’s Wembley Arena to a handful of shows in specific regions of the U.S. — even the Carolinas. He played brief “Hit and Run” tours that were announced just days before they launched; and of course he staged what is universally considered to be the greatest Super Bowl Halftime performance of all time in 2007. By contrast, his last tour, shortly before his death in 2016, was just him accompanying himself on piano. He kept finding new ways to keep himself interested.

And although he wouldn’t again reach the upper echelons of the charts in his lifetime and his albums continued to be frustratingly hit-or-miss, his sense of innovation returned with “3121,” the album that followed “Musicology” — on it, fans of “Sign O’ the Times,” which many regard as the peak of his creativity, could find much to grab onto, at least for the first half of the album. Unfortunately, most of the other albums he released in these years were maddeningly inconsistent (and sometimes appallingly bad) but although you won’t find any hidden “Purple Rain”s, there are overlooked gems to be found on many of them — like “Lavaux” and “Laydown” from “20Ten” (the latter of which features the priceless line, “from the heart of Minnesota/ Here come the purple Yoda”), and “Better With Time” and especially “ Ol’ Skool Company ” from “MPLSoUND.” Every once in a while on those albums and others, the Prince you love pops up with something so great it’s as if he’d never gone anywhere. And that’s really the gift of his scattershot, impossibly vast musical output — even though he’s no longer here, there’ll always be something new to find.

“Musicology” was the end of Prince’s wilderness years, and in every way, it set him up for the remaining dozen years of his much-too-brief life.
