Enanitos Verdes regresa a Puerto Rico después de cuatro años en concierto. Los boletos empiezan a venderse el 12 de abril en PRticket y Ticketerapr.com.

Los argentinos regresan a casi un año de la partida de Marciano Cantero; bajista, compositor, cantante y co-fundador con Felipe Staiti de Enanitos Verdes. Sus “bandmates” y amigos se unen para presentar un gran espectaculo, además de brindar un homenaje a un compañero de 43 años para celebrar su vida y carrera.

El grupo se estará presentando el 19 de Agosto de 2023, en el Anfiteatro Tito Puente, y el 20 de Agosto de 2023, en el Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas.

El cantante puertorriqueño de rock Danny Frati Celli abrirá el concierto de los Enanitos Verdes el sábado, 19 de agosto, en el Anfiteatro (ANFI) Tito Puente.

El artista recientemente lanzó el sencillo “La Fe” que cuenta con difusión en Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos, República Dominicana, México, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile y Uruguay, donde también se escucha su tema programado en diferentes emisoras de radio y su video a través de la televisión.

“El éxito de este tema es como un sueño hecho realidad. Vamos a seguir trabajando duro para que los demás sencillos que compondrán esta producción tengan mayor difusión”, sostuvo.

El tema lleva varias semanas consecutivas número uno en el escalafón de Rock Nacional en la emisora de rock puertorriqueña, AZ Rock. De la misma manera en el ranking de emisoras en México y Bolivia.

La letra y melodía es de su propia autoría y la música realizada con Alexis Pérez y Humberto “Kama” Cruz. El vídeo es dirigido y producido por Javier Galarza. Danny Frati Celli es sinónimo de perseverancia en una industria inconsistente. Ha manejado la versatilidad en su carrera combinando la música y la actuación por más de 20 años de manera independiente. “Aunque empecé a actuar en teatro desde los 10 años, considero que mi carrera musical comenzó al entrar a la Universidad, fue de ahí en adelante la gran cantidad de espectáculos que he realizado durante los últimos años”, confiesó el también actor.

Los Enanitos Verdes (formed in 1979) meaning “Little Green Men” is an Argentinean pop and rock band, hailing from Mendoza, Argentina.

Formed in 1979 by vocalist/bass and keyboard player Marciano Cantero, guitarist Felipe Staiti, and drummer Daniel Piccolo, Los Enanitos Verdes began by playing shows around the area of Mendoza. After making the move from Mendoza to Buenos Aires in the hope of raising their exposure and playing more shows, the band enlisted the help of guitarist and vocalist Sergio Embrioni and keyboard player Tito Dávila in 1984. Los Enanitos Verdes’ debut self-titled release arrived in 1984 on the label Mordisco. The album spawned the hit single “Aún sigo Cantando”, however marked the departure of Embrioni a year later.

The band’s follow-up, 1986’s “Contrareloj” produced by Andrés Calamaro, saw Los Enanitos Verdes cover more original ground and produce the hits “Tus Viejas Cartas”, “Cada vez que digo Adiós”, and “La muralla Verde”. Produced by Calamaro once again, the band’s third album “Habitaciones extrañas” was issued by Sony Music in 1987. A year later, Los Enanitos Verdes issued the album “Carrousel”, and began an extensive tour of South America including a show at the popular Viña del Mar Festival. Soon after the band broke up with Marciano Cantero embarking on a solo career.

In 1992 Los Enanitos Verdes returned to the scene and recorded “Igual que Ayer” issued by EMI later that year. The platinum selling “Big Bang” was released in 1994, a year before the group participated in the Billboard Latin Forum Showcase in 1995. The band subsequently released the compilation “20 Grandes Éxitos” in 1995, the candid “Guerra Gaucha” in 1996, “Planetario” in 1997, “Tracción Acústica” in 1998, and the Grammy-nominated “Néctar” in 1999. In 2000 Los Enanitos Verdes toured alongside Molotov, Aterciopelados, and Café Tacuba as a part of the 17-date Watcha Tour. The album “Solo para Fanáticos” arrived in 2001, followed by “Amores Lejanos” in 2003, the live album “En Vivo” in 2004, “Pescado Original” in 2006, “Inéditos” in 2010 and “Tic Tac” in 2013.

Live reviews

Argentinian rock outfit Los Enanitos Verdes or Little Green Men for the non-Spanish speakers can boast a career spanning over three decades of relative commercial success. They have been on the road for a similar amount of time and this really shows when they perform as they have crafted a stadium sized live show to compliment the large scale of their music.

Everything is grand from the offset, the moody lighting and explosion of white light beckons the quartet onto stage which is soundtracked to the roar of excited fans. Marciano Cantero takes it all within his stride and does a victory lap of the stage beckoning for even more noise before they begin. The quartet who remain unchanged all these years later go about recreating a setlist reaching from all of their previous albums and delight fans with note perfect renditions of material old and new. Although the baiting and swagger may seem a little over the top, luckily for Los Enanitos Verdes they have the music to back up the boldness and the audience to cheer them all the through.

Enanitos Verdes Announce Their 2022 US Tour

Today, Argentinian rock trio  Enanitos Verdes  have announced their 2022 tour with a 17-city tour across the US. Produced by Frias Entertainment and Live Nation, the tour features one of the most prominent Latin pop-rock groups from the ‘80s and ‘90s who revolutionized the Spanish genre. Enanitos Verdes will come to world-renowned venues as the new Los Angeles YouTube Theater, San Francisco’s Masonic Theater, The Rosemont Theater in Chicago, IL, and Miami’s iconic Fillmore Theater. The tour kicks off on July 6th at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA, making stops across the U.S. in Las Vegas, NV; Houston, TX; Atlanta, GA; and more before wrapping up in Orlando, FL, at House of Blues on August 13th.

Originally from Mendoza, Argentina, Enanitos Verdes is a legendary pop-rock group for fans across Latin America, with a great musical history full of awards, nominations, and prestigious recognitions in multiple countries throughout their storied career. Currently formed by members Marciano Cantero (bass, keyboards, and vocals), Felipe Staiti (guitar), and Jota Morelli (drums), the group’s discography consists of 15 albums, including 1999’s Grammy-nominated Nectar, an EP, as well as countless compilations released by their previous record companies (CBS, BMG, EMI, Universal, Sony). La Fundación SM en Puerto Rico anunció hoy que la escritora puertorriqueña, Vanessa Seijo , fue galardonada con el prestigioso Premio El Barco de Vapor Puerto Rico por su obra “ Dos detectives y un gato ”. Como producto de este galardón, Seijo recibirá $12,000, la publicación de la obra y una ceremonia de premiación.

Mariana enríquez sobre la literatura de horror en latinoamérica: “es uno de los géneros que más claramente hablan y se ocupan de la otredad”, congreso internacional de escritores le da un nuevo respiro a la literatura puertorriqueña, “la literatura no puede existir si no está buscando la verdad”: inicio magistral del segundo congreso internacional de escritores en caguas.

“Premiamos una obra divertida y excelentemente escrita que apela a nuestra juventud y enaltece las artes y el patrimonio puertorriqueño. Seijo ha demostrado su compromiso con la educación y la narración con trabajos como la novela Nicolás, la abuela Margot y el hechicero, publicada por SM Puerto Rico en 2010. Además, con su contribución a diversas revistas electrónicas y medios, ha establecido su reputación como una autora versátil y talentosa”, expresó Juan Reyes , director general de SM en Puerto Rico.

Nacida en 1970, Vanessa Seijo posee un bachillerato en Literatura Inglesa y Americana, y casi tres décadas de experiencia como maestra del sistema público. SM publicó otro escrito de Seijo en la antología Cápsulas del Tiempo (2018), una colección de historias sobre el huracán María, donde apareció el cuento “Cosas de Diario”.

“Dos detectives y un gato” cuenta la divertida historia de dos estudiantes de sexto grado, Mónica y Yadriel, y su inesperado aliado felino, Morro. Ambientada en el Viejo San Juan, la trama sigue la búsqueda del responsable de un importante hurto de piezas de arte, ofreciendo una narrativa fresca y llena de humor en el género detectivesco.

Este año, el Premio El Barco de Vapor Puerto Rico recibió 64 manuscritos, cifra que no alcanzaba desde 2012, entre los que se destacó desde el principio la obra de Seijo. Dos detectives y un gato fue seleccionada por unanimidad entre los lectores de manuscritos y los miembros del jurado por la revitalización de los valores de la amistad y la comunidad, por su trama lúdica y fresca, y por su celebración de la cultura puertorriqueña.

“Al igual que en otras ocasiones, este año contamos con un excelente jurado compuesto por los escritores Pabsi Livmar, Ana María Fuster, Elsa Tío y José Rabelo junto con la editora Ariana Rosado Fernández. El Premio El Barco de Vapor Puerto Rico, que regresó en 2023 tras cuatro años como Premio El Barco de Vapor Caribe, ha consagrado a varios autores puertorriqueños a lo largo de los años y continuará haciéndolo en el futuro”, concluyó Reyes.
