[UPCOMING EVENT] 2023 IKON WORLD TOUR ‘TAKE OFF’ IN KUALA LUMPUR

iKON will finally return to Malaysia for their remarkable 2023 iKON WORLD TOUR TAKE OFF by My Events International and Jojo Events , which will take place in Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.

Taking place on July 22, 2023, this event will showcase the incredible talent of iKON —comprising JAY, SONG, BOBBY, DK, JU-NE, and CHAN —in Malaysia. iKON was last seen in the country in 2018 and returning back to the scene in Kuala Lumpur, they will be promoting their new album Take Off as part of their world tour. This appearance will mark the group first concert since departing its original label, which was YG Entertainment in December 2022. iKON World Tour Take Off will be held in various cities across Asia, Europe and the USA, beginning May 2023. The long-awaited concert has created a buzz and excitement among fans worldwide, a show not to be missed!

The group which had back-to-back hits ranging from Rhythm Ta to Love Scenario , recently had a group comeback with refreshing title track U and pre-release track Tantara which exudes their signature hip-hop side. Their recent album also consists of solo track from the members such as JU-NE, SONG and DK where they diverse genres were involved to show their fullest potential and vocal capability. iKON’s wide-range of track list genre in Take Off album will also be included in their World Tour Take Off setlist, which excites iKONIC with their powerful performance and chemistry on stage.

With iKON’s diversity in music from hip-hop/dance to EDM and R&B, iKONICs had their fullest expectation and trust for the concert especially with iKON which were known for their impressive stage presence while still delivering for the best fanservice. Over the weekend, iKON, the sensational South Korean boy group, set Axiata Arena ablaze with their highly anticipated 2023 World Tour ‘TAKE OFF’. The arena, accommodating a staggering crowd of 9,000 ecstatic fans, affectionately known as iKONICs, bore witness to iKON’s exceptional live performance skills and unwavering dedication to their supporters. Each show, lasting approximately three hours, delivered an unforgettable party atmosphere for their adoring fans.

The concert kicked off promptly at 8:00 PM, as the exhilarating atmosphere enveloped the stadium. iKON, one of South Korea’s most renowned K-pop groups, took the stage, setting off a night filled with unparalleled energy and captivating performances. The talented members showcased their immense musical prowess, leaving the audience in awe and on the edge of their seats throughout the entire show.

One of the highlights of the evening was the remarkable KONfire ocean, a mesmerizing display of devotion from the fans. The entire stadium was aglow with an ocean of fiery red lights, showing iKON’s immense popularity and loyal fanbase. This breathtaking sight truly emphasized the unwavering support the group enjoys from their dedicated followers. From the euphoric opening notes to the climactic finale, the iKON World Tour Take Off in Kuala Lumpur left an indelible mark on both the fans and the organisers.

The ‘TAKE OFF’ World Tour marks an important milestone for iKON, as it is their first global concert series since transferring to their new home, 143 Entertainment. Despite the absence of one member, Jinhwan who was enlisted 2 days ago for the military, the group was profoundly moved by the overwhelming response from their fans, acknowledging them as the driving force behind their unity and resilience.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 – Jojo Events and My Events International will be organising thehighly anticipated 2023 iKON World Tour Take Off in Kuala Lumpur. Taking placeon 22nd July 2023, this event will showcase the incredible talent of iKON—comprising JAY, SONG, BOBBY, DK, JU_NE, and CHAN—in Malaysia. iKON was last seen in the country in 2016 and returning back to the scene in Kuala Lumpur, they will be promoting their new album “Take Off” as part of their World Tour.

This appearance will mark the group first concert since departing its original label, which was YG Entertainment in December 2022. iKON World Tour Take Off will be held in various cities across Asia, Europe and the USA, beginning May 2023.

The MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) has been chosen as the venue for this sensational concert.The concert in Malaysia will promise a high-level live performance skill for approximately 2 hours providing the best in entertainment that iKONIC have ever seen. The floor layout is divided into 4 categories which is CAT 1 and CAT 2 for the standing  zones and CAT 3 and Cat 4 for the seating zones. iKON Announces 1st Batch Of Cities For Upcoming "TAKE OFF" World Tour

iKON has shared more details about their upcoming world tour!

Early this month, iKON announced that their first steps with their new agency 143 Entertainment were a world tour and a solo comeback for Bobby.

At midnight KST on March 17, iKON announced details for their upcoming concert in Seoul along with basic date and city details for their additional stops. iKON’s “TAKE OFF” world tour kicks off in Seoul with a two-night concert on May 5 and 6 at Jangchung Arena.

Later in May, iKON will perform in Taipei and Tokyo. In June, the group will visit Manila, Madrid, Essen, Florence, and Singapore, before stopping by Paris, Osaka, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur in July.

The tour will kick back up in September for iKON’s U.S. leg which includes shows in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, and Los Angeles.

Bobby’s will drop his new song “Cherry Blossoms” on March 20 before releasing his full single album on March 21 at 6 p.m. KST. As a group, iKON is scheduled to perform at KCON 2023 Thailand this weekend and KCON 2023 Japan in May.

On July 20, tour organiser Leo Presents announced the dates and venues for the US leg of iKON’s ongoing 2023 ‘Take Off’ world tour. On September 5, the boyband will kick things off at New York City’s Kings Theatre, before heading to Atlanta, Chicago and more.

iKON will also play Dallas and Denver on September 11 and 14, respectively, before wrapping up their US tour in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium on the 16th. According to Leo Presents, the upcoming tour will be the boyband’s “first USA appearance after 4 years”.

On August 31, the K-pop boyband added a new date to the Asia leg of their ‘Take Off world tour’. This November, the group will play a show at Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.

iKON  parted ways with longtime agency YG Entertainment in late-December 2022 . At the time, YG Entertainment announced that the agency and group had “mutually agreed” to end iKON’s exclusive contract, following a “long and careful discussion” with the group’s members. The group signed with 143 Entertainment  the following month.

Finally, iKON return to the United States for their 2023 world tour, ' Take Off '!

The group will be stopping in 6-cities across the U.S. in September including New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Los Angeles. Details including ticket sale dates and prices will be revealed next week, so stay tuned!

Malaysia's badminton star Lee Zii Jia has been named in the country's men's squad for the 2024 BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals , running from 27 April to 5 May.

World number 10 Lee is the part of a 10-strong team that will hope to bring Malaysia its first Thomas Cup title – the men's team world championship – since 1992.

His teammates include Cheam Jun Wei , Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik , Choong Hon Jian/Muhd Haikal , Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin , Justin Hoh , and Leong Jun Hao .

Malaysia have been drawn into Group D in the Thomas Cup, with Denmark and Hong Kong, China likely to pose the biggest challenges. Algeria are the fourth team in the group.

The top two teams from the group progress to the quarter-finals.
