Speaking to "The Howard Stern Show" , KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley said: "December 1st and 2nd is Madison Square Garden. Those are the last two shows of the band. We're finishing up where we started.

"Some people have kind of snickered and said, 'This 'End Of The Road' tour has gone on for years.' Yeah, we lost two and a half years to COVID," Paul explained. "We would have been done already. Yeah, this is the end.

"When you come to see the show, it's awesome," he added. "It's the most high-tech show out there, and yet it's clearly a kick-ass rock and roll show. It's not Vegas; it's not something that loses its balls, so to speak. It's everything KISS , just amped up and ramped up."

When host Howard Stern brought up the fact that Gene Simmons had previously said he will shed tears at KISS 's final gig, the 73-year-old bassist/vocalist said: "Oh, I'm sure. I kid around a lot about 'men don't do that.' I'm sure I'm gonna cry like a nine-year-old girl whose foot's being stepped on.

" KISS was born on 23rd street. It's only taken us 50 years to go play the final shows 10 blocks away on 33rd street, which is Madison Square Garden," he added.

KISS launched its farewell trek in January 2019 but was forced to put it on hold in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"End Of The Road" was originally scheduled to conclude on July 17, 2021 in New York City but has since been extended to late 2023. The trek was announced in September 2018 following a KISS performance of the band's classic song "Detroit Rock City" on "America's Got Talent" .

KISS 's current lineup consists of original members Stanley and Simmons , alongside later band additions, guitarist Tommy Thayer (since 2002) and drummer Eric Singer (on and off since 1991).

Formed in 1973 by Stanley , Simmons , Peter Criss and Ace Frehley , KISS staged its first "farewell" tour in 2000, the last to feature the group's original lineup.

In a recent interview with Yahoo! entertainment music editor Lyndsey Parker , Stanley was asked whether he thinks it will be emotional for him to play the final KISS show. Paul said: "More so than I know. There's gonna be some tears shed, for sure.

"You've gotta remember that Gene and I started this together when I was 17 and he was 20, 21. It's 50 years later. We've lived pretty interesting lives, and we have families and children and huge sales in terms of albums and concerts. So it's a big part of who we are; it's a big part of our lives. So, that final show, yeah, that's momentous. And it's gonna hit harder than I think we know. And we know it's gonna hit hard."

Asked whether the last concert of KISS 's "End Of The Road" tour will truly mark the band's final performance or if there is a chance of one-off shows or a Las Vegas residency in the future, Stanley said: "I really can't say. But it is the last of any kind of regular shows or touring.

"It's just time," he explained. "And in the same way, it's time consuming. And physically, it's grueling to do what we do. Hell, if I could go out on stage in my jeans and a t-shirt, give us another 10, 15 years easily. But what we do is a whole different sport. I mean, we're athletes; we're running around on stage with 30, 40, pounds of gear, and it's not possible to do it that much longer. So we're not like other bands.

"So, will we do more shows or one-offs? I really have no idea," Paul admitted. "But this is a real clear mindset that the touring days and doing those kind of shows, that's over."

In early 2019, Stanley told Australia's "Sunday Night" that "Rock And Roll All Nite" "has to be" the song that KISS performs as the last encore at the final concert of the "End Of The Road" tour. "That is the rock anthem that connects the world," he explained. "It was the start of other people coming up with anthems. They really didn't exist, per se. So, 'Rock And Roll All Nite And Party Every Day' , that's a song that just connects with people on all different levels."

Simmons concurred, telling BUILD Series : "How do you not end with 'Rock And Roll All Nite' ? We will have played that song, probably without exception, more than any other song we've ever been involved with. You might say, 'Aren't you sick and tired of hearing that?' But I will tell you the roar of the crowd, the smell of the grease paint, there ain't nothing like it. When you hear everybody getting jazzed about that and you get off the stage... [it's] like the fire in the belly. You're dog-tired; you've just done a big show; and you get up on that stage, when you see the joy in everybody's face... We've seen it all. We've been around for generations, but when you see a little 5-year-old kid in KISS makeup on his dad's shoulders who's wearing KISS makeup, next to his father... we're badass kind of guys — nothing affects us much — but that stuff will put a lump in your throat. You have to turn around for a second. It gets me. Yes, it's music, but it's generational, and it brings families together instead of separates [sic] them."

JUST ANNOUNCED! We are excited to add 3 additional dates to our FINAL North American leg with concerts in Crandon,... Posted by KISS on  Thursday, June 1, 2023

KISS coming to Crandon International Raceway September 2023

It’s official, KISS is coming to Crandon, WI.

Yep, you read that right. The same legendary rock band that is bringing their End of the Road Tour to places like Norway, Australia, and Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles is making a pit stop in the northwoods of Wisconsin this September. How you might ask? The efforts of the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe and its casinos, says the band’s website .

As a celebration of the upcoming opening of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley’s Rock & Brews restaurant located inside of Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Milwaukee, the KISS concert will take place at Crandon International Raceway on September 1 – the same weekend as the Crandon World Championship Off-Road Races . According to the Green Bay Press Gazette , “the restaurant is part of a $100 million renovation to Potawatomi’s third floor and will become the casino’s main venue for live entertainment when it opens.”

In a statement shared on the KISS website , Forest County Potawatomi Community Tribal Chairman, James Crawford said,

“The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe is honored to play a role in bringing KISS to Crandon, Rock & Brews to Milwaukee, and people together to enjoy this next era of entertainment in Wisconsin. We cannot wait to welcome these two icons to the perfect backdrop of our Northwoods where we’ll show how Wisconsin truly loves to rock.”

KISS ARMY Fan Club ticket sales will begin on June 17, local market ticket sales will begin on June 18, and general ticket sales will begin on June 19.

REVIEW: A Day in the Life with KISS in Northern Wisconsin – September 1, 2023 in Carter and Crandon, Wisconsin

By Jim Zons

Many people know this:  I’m a HUGE fan of the band KISS, so when I saw they would be playing one of their final dates on this final tour in Wisconsin’s Northwoods Labor Day weekend, I knew I had to be there to cover the show!  But … in Crandon, Wisconsin of all places (pop 1,713), probably the smallest community KISS has appeared in DECADES, at Crandon International Raceway.  Okay … this should be interesting! But I had no idea how interesting the day would become ….

So, the day before the concert, I was waiting for information about my tickets and photo pass, when I got a call from my contact with the Potawatomi Community, who was getting me set up with everything I needed to cover the concert.  He asked me, “so, were you planning on being here at the casino for the groundbreaking?”  Uh .. groundbreaking?  That’s when he pointed out that the main reason that KISS was performing in Crandon was Gene and Paul would be appearing at the Potawatomi Casino & Hotel in Carter, WI for a groundbreaking for their newest location of their “Rock & Brews” restaurant location.  And then he asked: “did you want to interview Paul and Gene during the groundbreaking?”  DID I????  That would be a big YES!  So … I headed north a day early so I wouldn’t be late for the groundbreaking at the casino the next day.

Some background: Rock & Brews began as a concept of Dave Furano, a well-known rock concert promoter who got his start in the 1960s promoting the Stones, Dylan and other legendary bands.  He nurtured this dream of a “Rock ‘n’ Roll” restaurant for decades, until a chance meeting backstage at a KISS concert in 2010 with Gene and Paul spawned the birth of Rock & Brews: classic comfort foods and unique craft beers with a rock ‘n’ roll vibe. Fast forward 13 years and there are now there are 24 locations across the country, including a recently opened Rock & Brews location at the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee. The new location opening in the casino in Carter would be the second Rock & Brews location in Wisconsin.

Friday morning, I headed over to the casino in Carter so I could be there early for the press event (I still wasn’t convinced I was going to get a chance to interview Paul and Gene!)  I was the first press person on hand for the event, but soon a number of local print outlets and TV stations showed up to cover the groundbreaking and interview Paul and Gene.  We didn’t have to wait long before Paul and Gene and their entourage swept into the existing restaurant area (the future home of Rock & Brews) for the press event prior to the groundbreaking.

I started off with a short interview with Dominic Ortiz, CEO of the Potawatomi Casino Hotel. I asked him about the partnership between Potawatomi Casinos and Rock & Brews, and he said, “You guys wanted the best. We brought you the best! Our partnership with Paul and Gene started over a year ago when we envisioned bringing Rock & Brews to Wisconsin. What a great partnership, right? Great food, family, fun. Some of the best craft beers in the country, all coming to Wisconsin, and partnering with the Potawatomi Casinos and Hotels.”

Finally, it was time to interview Gene and Paul!  The guys were doing interviews separately, so I stepped up first to interview Gene and asked him to elaborate on the concept of Rock & Brews.  Gene said, “We’re not French highfalutin food with frog’s legs and things you’d never put in your mouth willingly. Slugs, and why would you put that in your mouth? No, no. You want comfort food. And for those who are watching their girlish figure, you got huge salads and the demon burgers and all that stuff, but stuff we really love, why can’t you? And also have the culture and the music we grew up with because classic rock, all the bands, Springsteen and the Stones and Hendrix and KISS or whoever you like, is really the soundtrack of our lives. When you think about it, we grew up with it, so why can’t you have that? And the culture with imagery and lyrics in a big wide open space where everybody can see everybody and have one big goddamn party.”  Sounds like an AWESOME place to hang out, doesn’t it?? (To listen to the entire interview, go here: https://vimeo.com/eznewmedia/review/864030674/ed2b545082 )

Next, I interviewed Paul Stanley and asked him if his love of cooking influenced anything they are serving at Rock & Brews.  Paul said, “it doesn’t come down to my personal taste because your taste is as important as mine. All I want to make sure is the quality of what you’re getting is up to standard and the quality of the food we have at Rock & Brews bar none is as good as it gets. So, whether you’re a vegetarian or whether you’re a carnivore, we’ve got the best burgers, we’ve got great salads, we’ve got you covered, and we also make sure that it becomes part of your community.”

I finished up by asking Paul how he felt doing one final concert in Wisconsin pretty much 50 years after performing in Wisconsin during their first tour, and he said, “I feel amazing. There’s nothing but a celebratory feeling. An incredible feeling of accomplishment. You can be Michael Jordan forever, but you can’t play like Michael Jordan forever. You can be KISS forever, but we want to stop while we are KISS and we’re at the top of our game and this is really a victory lap for us.”  Well said, Paul.  Well said. (To listen to the entire interview, go here: https://vimeo.com/eznewmedia/review/864035633/03e1cd7da7 )

After the interviews, it was time for the big groundbreaking!  First, the event started with a drum circle and traditional Native American dancers. After the ceremony, there were speeches from tribal representatives, and Paul and Gene, before the actual groundbreaking, which consisted of Paul breaking a guitar over a bass drum! Watch the video!   https://vimeo.com/eznewmedia/review/864036114/02161d389d

Shortly after the groundbreaking, one of the band managers for KISS mentioned that Gene really wanted to stop for some ice cream at a little drive-in restaurant called Yeti’s in Crandon on their way to the concert venue, and I should stop by.  So I did! The entire band and entourage showed up with a police escort in black SUVs like they were in a presidential motorcade!  The lobby in Yeti’s is small, so it was pretty crowded with the band, managers and the rest of the group at the counter ordering ice cream! Longtime KISS manager Doc McGhee was at the front buying ice cream for everyone, including me (though I turned him down because I had just finished a HUGE shake from Yeti’s before the band pulled up!)  Gene got a sundae so I asked him what he thought, and he said, ”this sundae … is better than sex.  Wouldn’t you agree??” I did agree, but later thought I should have answered, “I don’t know Gene.  Better than sex in general … or better than sex with YOU??”  Alas, you never think of the good quips when you’re in the moment. After getting ice cream, the band mingled outside with Potawatomi tribal members and regular Yeti’s customers while KISS’s greatest hits played back over the drive-in’s speakers.  What a BLAST!

Several hours later, it was finally concert time!  If you have attended previous stops on the End of the Road tour, this concert had an entirely different feel since it was a stage setup on the edge of a racetrack in the Wisconsin Northwoods, so it felt more organic and raw. Plus, for what I would imagine was the first time ever, the opening act for KISS were traditional Native American dancers from the Potawatomi community!  In addition, the smaller setup meant fewer effects and other now “standbys” like Gene flying up into the lighting grid during “God of Thunder” and Paul flying over the crowd to perform “Love Gun.” It also seemed like a shorter set than previous stops on this tour, skipping songs like “Deuce,” and “Say Yeah,” but the rest of the classics you’ve come to expect at a KISS concert were there, including “Detroit Rock City,” “Shout It Out Loud,” “Cold Gin.” The “encore” featured “Beth,” (the piano was rolled out as opposed to being lifted out of the floor), “I Was Made For Loving You,” and of course “Rock and Roll All Nite” was the last song of the night, amid pyrotechnics and tons of confetti and streamers. If this was my last KISS concert ever, what a show, and thanks to the Potawatomi community for bringing the band to the middle of nowhere in Northern Wisconsin!

How KISS ended up playing in Crandon, Wisconsin

CRANDON, Wis. — Roughly 100 miles north and west of Green Bay, the small City of Crandon, Wisconsin, is no stranger to having a lot of visitors over the Labor Day weekend.

“This is the 54th year of the off-road raceway in Crandon where they’re hosting their world championship — it’s always a huge event,” said Mary Belland, the associate director of the Forest County Chamber of Commerce. “The last few years, it’s drawn over 50,000 people.”

But there’s more than just a world racing championship helping to pack people into a community with a year-round population of less than 2,000 Wisconsinites.

Rock icons KISS are bringing their current “End of the Road” tour to Forest County.

“We’re just excited that Forest County Potawatomi was able to get this underway for us,” Belland said. “It stemmed from [Milwaukee, where the Potawatomi Business Development Corporation is based] and then they filtered it north here to Crandon, Wisconsin, so it’s a really big opportunity for us.”

Belland said having KISS will help lots of businesses in the area.

“To get a band of this caliber in this small town of 1,700 to 1,800 people, it’s quite impressive,” said Belland.

And she said it’s not too late to join in on the fun in Crandon this weekend.

“Put your kids in the car, your family in the car and come on up and enjoy the festivities,” Belland said.

The big weekend started Wednesday with a few smaller races, but the big day is Friday with a parade at noon, followed by the KISS concert.

'It certainly put us on the map': Forest County Potawatomi happy with success of KISS concert in Crandon

kiss tour wisconsin 2023

CRANDON - Whether the Wisconsin Northwoods will one day see another concert event that rivals the Sept. 1 visit by KISS remains to be seen, but James Crawford knows this much.

“It certainly put us on the map for a weekend.”

Crawford is chairman of the Forest County Potawatomi Community, which got the state buzzing when it announced it had landed the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band for a stop on its End of the Road World Tour at Crandon International Raceway, just outside a city of 1,800.

“I think everybody was surprised, to say the least, to have them come up there. I think it definitely is an eye-opener to people that things are happening here in the Northwoods, that this is a place where you can come up and enjoy big-time concerts and good food and racing and everything that was going on that weekend,” Crawford said. “I think it really highlighted a lot of things outside of even the concert that Forest County has to offer — and the tribe, I should say.”

Crawford doesn't have an exact crowd count but said more than 10,000 people attended the concert, which coincided with the annual off-road racing world championships weekend at the track. That’s less than the 40,000 concert organizers originally said they were hoping to draw, but Crawford said he was pleased with both the turnout and the whole event.

“There was just like a sea of people out there,” he said. “The concert was awesome. ... I think the crowd was happy. The racetrack was happy. Everything went well. There’s always things you can tweak and do better, but overall, everything was great.”

Some in attendance took to social media to express frustrations over some of the logistics of the concert, specifically long lines that snaked along the side of the track and down the highway that were slow to get people into the grounds after a day-of post on the track's Facebook page clarified that concert gates would open at 7 p.m., not 1 p.m., as originally listed.

Crawford acknowledges there was room for improvement in creating a better organized entry and exit process.

“I think we could do better at helping our handicapped and elders get in and out, too, that wanted to be there, but I think we learned some things we needed to learn,” he said.

The KISS concert coincided with the groundbreaking for a Rock & Brews restaurant earlier in the day at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Carter. KISS frontmen Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, founders of the franchise, were on hand for the ceremony. Wisconsin’s second Rock & Brews (the first opened this summer at Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Milwaukee) is tentatively scheduled to open next spring.

“With that we want to be able to offer more access for bands to come up here and play and every now and then do like what we did and have a mega-band or something like we did with KISS,” Crawford said. “That’s definitely something that we’re looking forward to potentially doing in the future.”

For Forest County, it was exciting to not only host a concert that brought the KISS Army from across Wisconsin, neighboring states and at least one diehard who flew in from Australia, but to also see the band get out and meet people in the community. Fans who drove up from Milwaukee ran into lead guitarist Tommy Thayer having breakfast at the casino in Carter the morning of the concert. Simmons and Stanley made a couple of stops around Crandon, Crawford said, including for ice cream at Yeti’s Drive-In.

The drive-in, which closed for the season Saturday, had so many people asking what Simmons and Stanley ordered, it recently shared the sweet details on its Facebook page . The "Gene Simmons Sundae" is twist ice cream with hot fudge, strawberries, Oreos and nuts. Stanley had a vanilla cone and hot fudge sundae.

On the day after the concert, Simmons met invited guests at Rhinelander Brewing Company in Rhinelander to promote his Wisconsin-made MoneyBag Vodka . He partnered with Minhas Brewery & Distillery in Monroe to launch the 10-times distilled vodka in 2022.

“They’re really great with their fans and with everybody. They make it a point to get out there and see the people,” Crawford said of the band. “Overall, I think their experience with the Northwoods was well taken by them.”

The high-profile concert was also an opportunity for the tribe to display its culture and educate people. Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company opened the KISS concert, and prior to the groundbreaking in Carter, drummers and dancers did a ceremonial blessing.

The whole experience gave people in Forest County a little extra something to smile about, Crawford said.

“It was very exciting to see the turnout of the fans and the people and see that we could pull this off in the Northwoods," he said. "It definitely gives us enough fuel to really think about planning another one.”

Kiss are an American rock band, forming in New York City, New York, United states of America, they have been making: hard rock, heavy metal and glam rock since 1973.

Originally Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley were a part of a rock and roll band called "Wicked Lester" left the band after feeling that their music needed to head in a new direction. Later in 1972 Peter Criss joined the band after auditioning for the duo when they came across an advert he had placed in Rolling Stone.

The band went on to audition for Epic Records, they however were not liked and did not manage to secure a record deal. During this time period the band began to mess around with their image, they started to dress differently from the stereotypical rock scene at the time and also wore make up. In 1973 the band gained Ace Frehley who would become their lead guitarist as they were very impressed with his audition, the band soon officially became known as "Kiss".

On November 1 1973, Kiss were signed to Casablanca records, later that year the band had their first opening for a band called "Blue Oyster Cult" at the Academy of Music in New York. It was here that Gene Simmons accidentally set his hair on fire (needless to say he survived).

Kiss received positive reception when they released their live version of song "Rock and Roll All Nite" This was followed by the bands release of studio album "Destroyer" which was released in 1976, the album went gold a month after release and their song "Shout It Out Loud" reached number 1 on the Canadian Singles Chart. The album went on to go double platinum in the US with 2 million sales.

Kiss have received over 15 awards such as Band Of The Year by Metal Edge Readers' Choice Awards, Favorite new song for "Beth" and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.

As of 2014 the band members of Kiss include: Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.

Live reviews

Kiss & Def Leppard ... what a pair! The concert took place at Lakewood Amphitheater in Atlanta. As we were driving in, we could see the clouds getting darker and darker ... storm coming our way ... seemed like the gray/black in the sky, along with the occasional clap of thunder, were getting ready for a night of rooooccckk! Of course, we arrived and it started raining … but that did not stop us … it was a night to remember. I’ve been a Def Leppard fan since the early 90s … the amphitheater was packed … they sang non-stop all their greatest hits – and boy do they have a lot of them! I could see the crowds (different ages – some who had brought their kids), join me as we travelled back in time to those high school or college years and remembered that special someone as we were singing “Two Steps Behind” or “Pour Some Sugar on Me”. It was priceless! Short break … it stopped raining and it’s now dark. A black curtain with the famous KISS logo is covering the stage and it’s now completely dark outside. The crowd is standing up and curiously waiting for what’s coming next … Down comes the curtain and the group starts descending to the stage on one of those … oh, so well known mechanical platforms used during the 80s. KISS on stage is the stereotype of the glam 80s band on steroids. I love going to concerts and usually make it to pretty much any concert that hits Atlanta: old, new, rock, alternative – you name it. I have seen all kinds of cool stages, lightshows, fireworks, etc … but nothing could prepare me for seeing this band which continues to deliver on the excess of 80s rock & roll even after we’ve long past the decade of rock. It was amazing … the makeup, the costumes, that platform as they descended onto the stage … it was a combination of “Rock of Ages” and “Rockstar”. For those of you who were young during the 80s … this show will infuse you with that energy that only music can provide … for those of you in the mid-to late 90s and after … if you know good music – you know these guys and the show is something to remember!

Thank you for caring enough to see if we enjoyed our time at the Kiss concert on 3-26-19. This is the first concert I’ve ever been to here and the first concert my sons have ever been to. Most of all this was a birthday gift to my husband. I have to say Kiss is amazing. Your staff and cleanliness was amazing for such a big place. Great job!!! But I do have to say I was very disappointed in our seats. We had so much obstruction from the jumbo tron and poles from our seats. It hugely impacted how much of the show or what we could see of the show.

So instead of a great visual and audible experience, it was more audible with some glimpses of the huge screen and some stage. I wish as I purchased these tickets I was shown where the poles and equipment were going to be because I bought these tickets the first day they were opened to purchase and there were many seats in that price range to purchase at the time. I would have definitely purchased different seating for the same money. I could send you pictures of what we saw from our seating, if you would like to see them. Just sad...again I do appreciate you actually reaching out to us about our experience and actually I’m very impressed. Keep up the great work and cleanliness, because we were very surprised on how amazingly cared for the TD Garden was taken care of and again nice staff. Obviously great management. I also appreciate you reaching out to us, again Great customer service. Thank you Traci Mahar

KISS was the best act I have ever watched. From Paul Stanley zip-lining to perform mid-audience on a platform, in his twelve-inch platform boots, to the band members not only performing on stage but high above it, as well, to Gene Simmons "breathing fire" and sililoquiy spitting blood segment. All the band members were lifted above the main stage at various times through-out the concert. It was quite the spectacle.

They also did not waste time before the encore performance as there was a curfew. So they just kept playing on. I did not hear any curse words as they must have been aware of their young KISS army members in the audience, dressed fully in KISS regalia. A few fans were also observed outside who were dressed up as Ace Freley, the space object, Peter Criss and even the vampire, Gene Simmons.

At one point, Paul Stanley joked that the previous night's audience in Austin had said the same thing about Dallas fans as the Fair Park crowd had booed the southern fans when Paul had asked who were the biggest rock and roll fans in the state of Texas. KISS closed their set with the classic rock anthem, "Rock and Roll All Night and Party Every Day". Over-all, the KISS experience made up for what was lacking from the previous act and the opening one. Kudos to KISS!

Thank you for caring enough to see if we enjoyed our time at the Kiss concert on 03-26-19. This is the first concert I’ve ever been to here, also this was the first concert my sons have ever been to. Most importantly this was a gift for my husband for his birthday. I have to say Kiss is amazing. Your staff and cleanliness for such a big place was amazing. Great work, but I do have to say I was disappointed with our seats. We had so much obstruction from the jumbo tron, and poles in front of the stage, it hugely impacted how much or what we could see of the show. So instead of a great visual experience it was more audible with glimpses of the huge screen and some stage. I wish as I purchased these tickets I was told or shown where all the staging and lighting and poles where gonna be, because I bought these tickets the first day they went on sale and could have picked different seating for the same money. I could send you pictures of what we saw from our seats. Again I do thank you for caring enough about our experience

I Have Only Been Going To Concerts Since The End Of 2017 and I've Already Seen Many Of My Favourites And I Have Always Wanted To See Kiss as they are One if not My top favourite band of All Time and after seeing them for the first and only time last night in London i can say without a doubt it was and is (I Stand By My Word When I say This) the best thing i have ever been to in possibly my entire lifetime (not kidding) There will never be another band like Kiss The Stage setup, timing with the pyro etc was outstanding as you expect from kiss, and the finale was awesome I have been a fan Of Paul Stanley For years and my favourite thing to watch him do is when he smashes his guitar at the end of the show, it made me so happy to see it live in person i got emotional, like i said you'll regret it when Kiss is No Longer About, No One Does A Live Show Like Kiss and if this is indeed the Final Tour they indeed went out with a bang And il'l Never forget it.

Another great Kiss concert, they know how to put on a show! The first time I've seen them in this lineup. They played most of the songs I expected and wanted them to play, from Detroit Rock City to Black Diamond, Psycho Circus, Lick it up and Rock and Roll all night. Was a bit baffled that I was made for loving you got one of the best reactions from the audience. Seriously, Paris? I think there was a fairly equal spread of songs from most parts of their career, although they maybe should have played I just wanna, and no matter how much Paul wants Hell or Hallelujah to become a classic, I don't think it will. Anyway, this is supposed to be a positive review. Kiss rock and which other bands shoot fireworks from their guitars and have their band members play above the audience and in the crowd? Yes, Kiss will probably back again, but I'd say, go and see them while you still can!

A KISS Goodbye! I’ve seen KISS 3 other times, once in the 70’s, once in the 80’s and once in the 90’s. But last nights concert in Minneapolis was a Crazy, Crazy Night!! They pulled out all the stops to make sure that their last concert here was an amazing spectacle! I brought my 24 year old son to witness his first (and probably last) KISS concert and he was literally blown away! Thank you KISS for allowing me to share this experience with my son!! Thank you Gene and Paul for the many decades of incredible music and on stage mayhem! Thank you Tommy and Eric for being absolutely top-notch replacements for the other two originals. I have been, since my teenage years, an avid KISS fan...and now in my fiftys, I am proud to say I Still Am!! Thank You KISS!!

The End of the Road Tour stopped in Ottawa last night. It was almost painful to watch. They should no longer be playing back to back shows, Paul Stanley's voice is done. It was clear that he is using backup vocals. There were times when you'd hear his voice but he was not at his mic. Tommy Thayer is not Ace Frehley that much was obvious. The show appeared clumsy and disorganized at times. The setlist needs some tweaking, not a very good sampling of their entire catalog. They often at times seemed like they were just collecting a paycheque. Gene and Paul say they couldn't depend on Ace and Peter but Ace simply cannot be replaced. This tour will suffer because of this.

Being a rock fan, I wanted to go for the single reason that they are considered a legendary rock band and I wanted to cross them out of my list.

It happened to be - most likely, honestly! - the best show I have ever been to in my life. They showed they are not a bunch of old rags that rely on top of past achievements but a bunch of passionate rock professionals who, despite their age, give all they can to deliver an outstanding performance - and the most impressive thing is, they DID!

Imagine now, if it was THAT good and they are in their late 60s, how epic it must have been when they were younger!

I truly hope I have the opportunity to see them again!

One of the best concerts I have ever been to and I've been to a lot !! Great theatre and a fantastic spectacle all round. This is why these guys have survived the rock industry for 40+ years and still pack out arenas. They can truly teach bands of today how it's done. Absolute professionals. Money well spent. If I had to find a negative (which isn't easy) it would be the concert length. At around 1hr 45 mins, I would have liked a few more songs to push it to 2hrs but seeing they are in their 60's I can forgive them for that !! Don't waste a second and make sure you see kiss while you can. You won't regret it !! Rock on !!
