Aling Lucing’s sisig (made of chopped pork ears and cheeks seasoned with calamansi, onions, and chili peppers, served on a sizzling plate) has become such a hit that it is now a staple at many Filipino restaurants. The dish has made the restaurant one of the most popular tourist spots in Angeles, Pampanga.

Head to Aqua Planet in Clark Freeport Zone, Clark, Pampanga, and enjoy a full day exploring its 30-plus water slides and other attractions.

The water park also has its own restaurants, shops, and live entertainment shows in the evenings, so you can spend the whole day chilling inside the resort!

Go on a field trip around the whole Philippines in just one place at Nayong Pilipino inside Clark Freeport Zone. The park features replicas of tourist spots, historical sites, ancestral homes, and native villages from all over the Philippines.

Zoocobia is a zoo and theme park in Clark, Pampanga. Attractions include a Birds of Paradise enclosure, a Garden Maze, and a petting section where you can experience bottle-feeding baby goats and pigs. It also has an endemic species showcase and a taxidermy museum.

There are other activities in Zoocobia as well. Enjoy a camel ride up a hill, go on a thrilling ATV ride, feel the wind on your face while on the zip line, and go on a downhill drive with the gravity car!

Its galleries contain well-preserved memorabilia, dioramas, murals, and interactive displays that will definitely interest the history buff in you.

You don’t need to travel far if you want to learn wakeboarding, just head to the Deca Wakeboard Park in Clark or Pradera Verde in Lubao.

Both wakeboard parks feature various jumps and obstacles that cater to both beginners and expert wakeboarders.

For those without equipment, they offer boards, helmets, and other equipment you can rent, so all you need to do is show up, go on the board, and get soaked!

Museo Ning Angeles used to be the Municipio del Pueblo or the Town Hall of Angeles City until 1998. 

Constructed in 1922, the two-story building stood guard over Angeles City, witnessing its growth and development throughout the decades.

The museum, which opened in 1999, gives a glimpse of Angeles City’s history through its memorabilia display. 

The museum also serves as a venue for art classes, cultural performances, and exhibits of local artists.

The Pamintuan Mansion is a Spanish-era colonial home that has a beautifully preserved architecture and design. 

It is where the first Philippine President, Emilio Aguinaldo, stood to celebrate the first anniversary of Philippine independence from Spain.

Now open to tourists as a museum, the Pamintuan Mansion offers a view of what life was like for one of the influential families in the province.

Wash away your stress by taking a dip at Miyamit Falls in Porac, Pampanga. Reaching this hidden gem at the heart of the province involves a long trek, but the view is worth the sweat.

It’s easy to be mesmerized by the stunning nature view and the sound of the water hitting the rocks as it makes its way down to the pool.

There is no entrance fee to the Miyamit Falls, but you need to secure a permit from the Porac municipal hall.

If you want to try a 3- to 4-hour, 12-course menu of the best of Kapampangan cooking, get reservations at Bale Dutung in Angeles City, one of the best Pampanga restaurants  and tasting menu restaurants near Manila .

Run by Chef Claude Tayag and his wife, Mary Ann, the private dining restaurant offers a perfect venue for quiet, intimate family gatherings.

Due to popular demand, they now also have an Anthony Bourdain menu, inspired by the late chef/travel host/writer’s visit to the restaurant.

As Bale Dutung also serves as the Tayags’ home, the restaurant only opens occasionally to diners. It’s best to check their website for the latest restaurant schedule and call for reservations.

For sightseeing in Pampanga, visit the Candaba Swamp where you see white egrets, Philippine ducks, white-breasted herons, streaked reed-warbler, and other birds.

The swamp has about 32,000 hectares of wetland, which includes freshwater pools, marshes, and grasslands.

Migratory birds usually make the trip to the Candaba Swamp from October to February to escape the harsh winter conditions in China and Russia.

16. Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth with Razon’s Halo-Halo

It’s a simple dessert made with shaved ice, creamy milk, leche flan, macapuno, and saging na saba, but hands down, halo-halo is one of the best desserts in the Philippines.

Razon’s of Guagua shops can be found all over Pampanga, so you can get your halo-halo fix at any time during your trip.

As the terminus of the tragic Bataan Death March in 1942, this train station ruins served as a silent witness to the suffering of Filipino and American soldiers under the Japanese forces right after the fall of Bataan.

Thousands of exhausted and dying prisoners-of-war were loaded into box carts at this station to be sent to Camp O’Donnell in nearby Capas, Tarlac.

Fondly called by locals as Pisambang Maragul (“Big Church”), the Holy Rosary Parish Church is a living church and a national historical site in Angeles, Pampanga.

Construction of the church began in 1877 and was built under the “polo y servicio” labor system, the forced, unpaid labor system for Filipino native men imposed by the Spanish colonial government.

The Province of Pampanga , one of the eight provinces that were placed under martial law when it rebelled against the Spanish government in 1896, is a buoyant province with 19 municipalities and three cities. It has come a long way since the Spanish times, now being home to Angeles City, one of the country’s most exciting real estate markets, and numerous other attractions.

But Pampanga’s progress has not been without challenges. The removal of the Clark Air Base and the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the early 1990s hurt the province significantly, but like the mythical phoenix, the province rose from the ashes. Numerous Pampanga tourist attractions; its local cuisine, touted as one of the best in the Philippines; its top-notch public infrastructure; and its buoyant business climate are some of the factors that contribute to its popularity. Located in Brgy. Sapang Bato in an area considered an Aeta ancestral land, Puning Hot Springs is a wellness facility surrounded by lush foliage. Visitors can relax by taking a dip in one of their 11 natural hot springs or two heated pools. They also have a sand spa where visitors can cover themselves with hot sand, which is said to have therapeutic properties, or they can head to the mudpack area for a very unusual spa (using mud made from Mount Pinatubo).

2. Fontana Water Park, Clark Freeport Zone

A part of Fontana Leisure Parks & Casino, Fontana Water Park is a water-theme park for families. 6. Zoocobia Fun Zoo, Mabalacat

As a 50-hectare zoo and theme park, Zoocobia is more than just a place to visit and see various species of animals. 7. Dinosaurs Island, Mabalacat

This is the closest thing Filipinos (or humans) could get to Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs Island offers plenty of life-size, moving dinosaur displays, which makes the experience as real as it can get. Visitors can learn more about dinosaurs when they visit the Fossil Museum and World of Fun and get up close and personal to the extinct creatures (or at least their replicas) by hopping on Adventure Ride to know what it’s like to ride a dinosaur. The park also has a Jurassic Safari Ride to feel the thrill of being chased by dinosaurs as they try to pop their heads into your tramcar. At the same time, visitors can try a different way of watching a movie with their 7D Super Screen theater. Also, visit Wonders of the World, an area of replicas of the world’s popular tourist destinations.

8. Paradise Ranch, Angeles City

This 50-hectare nature and conservation park is dedicated to protecting the environment and promoting work to support the community. The Paradise Ranch in Clark Freeport Zone sits in the same area as the Zoocobia Wildlife Sanctuary. Here, you can take a special educational tour to learn more about wildlife, nature, and the environment. Other activities here include overnight vacations, retreats, camping trips, and team-building activities.

9. Deca Clark Wakeboard Park, Angeles City

The best time to book a visit at this cable wakeboard park in Margot, Angeles City, is during the dry months of December to May, when there are fewer tropical rainstorms during this time. Deca Clark Wakeboard features a full-size five-point Rixen main cable that will pull you across the lake and its obstacles at a constant speed. The five corners of the lake are decked with obstacles, including a wedge, curved kicker, and an A-frame. Even if you are a beginner or expert at wakeboarding, you will enjoy your visit here.

10. Sky Ranch Pampanga, San Fernando City

A day filled with fun and excitement awaits at Sky Ranch Pampanga. This amusement park is known for the Double Decker Carousel, Drop Tower, Bumper Boat, Indianapolis, Tea Cup, Field Runner, and of course, the “Ferris-t wheel” of them all, the Pampanga Eye Ferris Wheel, which is around 65 meters tall. This Ferris wheel has 32 air-conditioned gondolas, which give you a perfect view of Mount Arayat.

11. Nayong Pilipino, Clark Freeport Zone

For a more historical pasyalan sa Pampanga, visit Nayong Pilipino on a 45-hectare estate featuring replicas of the Philippines’ most famous sights. Miniature versions of famous landmarks such as Magellan’s Cross and Chocolate Hills, and even statues of our national heroes and political figures are in Pampanga’s tourist spot. A trip to Nayong Pilipino is indeed a fun and educational experience for all ages.

12. Air Force City Park, Angeles City

A recreational facility that showcases actual fighter aircraft used during World War II, Air Force City Park in Angeles City is a place where kids and kids at heart can climb in some of the actual aircraft on display. An outdoor playground is also available for kids. At the same time, people who would instead read may head over to the park’s library. 13. Clark Museum and 4D Theatre, Clark Freeport Zone

You can also experience a heightened museum tour with its 48-seater state-of-the-art 4D Theater, where you can see the 20-minute documentary film, Risen from the Ashes and view of the 1991 Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 4D.

14. Pamintuan Mansion, Angeles City

The Pamintuan Mansion was built in 1890 as a parents’ wedding gift to their son, who later became the mayor of Angeles during the American colonial era. This historical mansion in Angeles City was used as one of the sites of the Katipunan during the Philippine-American War. Gen. Antonio Luna also used this mansion as a headquarters and seat of the government of the First Republic. This was the site of the first anniversary of the declaration of the Philippine Independence, where Aguinaldo waved the Philippine flag from the second-floor balcony of the mansion. 

15. San Fernando Train Station

This train station in San Fernando, Pampanga, was inaugurated in February 1892. In June of the same year, Jose Rizal disembarked from this station to meet the recruits for La Liga Filipina. In 1942, the San Fernando Train Station served as the ending point for the 102-kilometer Bataan Death March. This is a museum where you can find significant memorabilia, photos, posters, and war remnants.

16. Museo ning Angeles, Angeles City

Also called the Museum of Angels, Museo ning Angeles showcases exhibitions that feature the history of Angeles and the former Clark Air Base. This tourist destination in Pampanga also houses clothing articles designed by the Grand Dame of Philippine Fashion, Patis Pamintuan-Tesoro, a native of Angeles, Pampanga. It also features the Culinarium, a section dedicated to Kapampangan cuisine and cooking methods.

17. Hot Air Balloon Festival, Clark Freeport Zone

Be part of the country’s biggest aviation gathering to witness a variety of colorful, and sometimes wacky, hot air balloons as they course through the sky during the Hot Air Balloon Festival. With the festival running for more than three days, guests will be exposed to a lot of flying activities, such as kite flying, gliding, skydiving, powered paragliding, aviation exercises, and aircraft exhibitions, and search and rescue flight demonstrations.

18. Giant Lantern Festival, Brgy. Sto. Rosario, San Fernando

This is an annual lantern festival held every December in San Fernando City to celebrate Christmas. Giant lanterns as high as 16 feet are displayed, bearing intricate designs infused with lighting technology. This fun festival (and the year-round availability of Christmas decorations) earned  San Fernando  the moniker  “Christmas Capital of the Philippines.”

19. Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan, Angeles City

This festival is the biggest annual celebration in Central Luzon, celebrating the triumph of Angeles City over the Mt. Pinatubo tragedy in 1991. This festive celebration is often called Pampanga’s version of Mardi Gras, as the locals and visitors are in high energy all night dancing and singing on the streets. This is often celebrated on the last Friday and Saturday of October.

20. Sinukwan Festival, San Fernando City

Celebrate the whole week of the Sinukwan Festival in December, a celebration that honors King Sinukwan, an Ancient Kapampangan God, honored by residents of San Fernando through street dancing. Costumes during this joyous festival feature large crowns, headdresses, ornaments, and vibrant clothing. Feel the vibe as Kapampangans use different native musical instruments to play tribal music you can dance to.

21. El Kabayo, Clark Freeport Zone

If you’re up for horseback riding and fun outdoor activities, El Kabayo is one of the places to visit in Pampanga. Their website states that it “is a replica of an old Western town directly out of an American cowboy movie.” Complete with mockup recreations of old Western establishments such as a saloon and a telegraph office, one would feel he has been transported into another country and era. Other activities available in this natural attraction in Pampanga are riding lessons, adventure and scenic trail rides, carriage tours, photo opportunities, and shopping.

22. Mount Pinatubo Trekking

Although this one’s not exactly in Pampanga, a trip to Mount Pinatubo—a volcano made famous by its massive 1991 eruption—starts in the province. As the volcano is pretty much very quiet nowadays, tourists can avail a Mount Pinatubo day tour package to see the world’s largest lahar canyon, which can be viewed via a trek to the volcano’s crater. Hikers even have lunch by the shore of the crater lake. Most of the travel packages include transfers from Manila to Mount Pinatubo and vice versa.

23. Candaba Bird Sanctuary

The Candaba Swamp or Candaba Wetlands serves as a staging and wintering area for ducks and other threatened waterbirds, making it a perfect spot for bird watching. This site is one of the Philippines’ 117 Important Bird Areas. Aside from bird watching, the Candaba Swamp helps mitigate climate change and potential disastrous floods. It is also a good source of food and livelihood.

24. Miyamit Falls, Porac

Miyamit Falls is one of Pampanga’s most famous natural tourist attractions. Numerous extreme sports and ultra-marathons have been done here since it is known for its rock formations and strong water surges. Other falls you will find in Pampanga include Haduan Falls in Mabalacat; Darabulbul Falls, Sapang Angka Falls, and Mt. Pinatubo Twin Falls in Porac; Pau Falls and Mt. Arayat Park Falls in Arayat; and 3rd Falls in Sapang Bato.

25. Puning Hot Spring, Angeles City

If you want to relax and meditate in nature, head to Puning Hot Spring. Amidst the lahar, rock formations is a warm thermal spring of Mt. Pinatubo where you can take a therapeutic bath. Aside from soaking in the warm water, you can also ride 4×4 jeepneys across rugged roads, terrains, and narrow streams. 

26. Mt. Arayat National Park

If you would like to go on a hike, Mt. Arayat National Park is an ideal place to do so. This mountain is a good hiking place for beginner hikers and mountaineers, as you can reach its summit within four hours. Mt. Arayat is a potentially active stratovolcano in Arayat, Pampanga, with a height of 1,026 meters above sea level. Aside from hiking, you can also camp, trek, swim, and watch birds here.

27. Aling Lucing’s Sisig

Sisig is one of the favorite Filipino dishes made from different parts of a pig’s face and belly, and chicken liver. If you want to eat an original recipe, head to Aling Lucing’s Sisig in Angeles City, Pampanga. While you’re there, take advantage of ordering pinaputok na pusit, chicharon bulaklak, and pinaputok na bangus. Aling Lucing’s sisig is simple, the same way the restaurant is simple and homey. PRADERA WAKE PARK

Pradera Wake Park is built in Prado Siongco in Lubao. The place uses regeneration lake wherein it is clean 24 hours and it does not use any chemicals. These 16 feet giant lanterns are exhibited within the part of San Fernando, Pampanga in the whole month of December. Pampanga is known as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines for all the mouthwatering reasons. A Pampanga food trip is all you need to taste the best dishes that the province has to offer.

Can you recommend good decent eateries near clark that specializes in kapangpangan dishes? I 9nly saw 2.

I was supposed to come there with a friend but now becoming by myself I’m interested in the culture how far is the bus ride from Manila to pampanga It really looks like it has some nice attractions it’s time I start living life take a chance

It is so nice to know how much development has happened in Pampanga after the Pinatubo eruption. Who would thought that Pinatubo’s crater will be a hit to tourists! Nice!

My husband was in the Philippines when Pinatubo erupted, he was one of the many US soldiers that removed ashes. It would be nice to see the place with our kids.

I want to visit Pampanga! I haven’t been to Fontana Water Park. Hope I can go there.

We are a group of seniors starting from Clark/Angeles City. I wanted to know the relative locations of (1) Puning Hot Springs (2) Where does the route of 4×4 jeep ride to Puning Hot Springs mentioned above start? (3) Where does the route of doing a hike to the Mt. Pinotubo crater lake start if we do a 4×4 drop off to the mid point? We have some who want to hike the 2 hour one-way hike, and those who would not like to do so due to age. Is it feasible to plan (a) Group 1 does Mt. Pinatubo short hike (4 hour two way) with 4×4 drop off and then go to Puning Hot Springs for a dip in the thermal pool and sand spa – how much comfortable time to provide for the tour?; and (b) Group 2 does 4×4 4×4 jeep ride to Puning Hot Springs and spends the day in Puning Hot Springs (thermal pool dips, spa, food and cultural show? We are visiting in November 2022. Thanks in advance.

Hey Anand, they are in different locations/provinces. The jump-off to Puning Hot Springs is in Brgy. Sapang Bato, Angeles City, Pampanga while the jump-off to the Mt. Pinatubo Crater trek is in Capas, Tarlac. I suggest to do them in separate days.

We are arriving in Cebu Mar 15 @ 1am (staying 2 days) to do canyoneering. I want to go to El Nido (doing tour A & C) and maybe glamping in Nacpan and Boracay. We are departing from CRK Mar 28 late night. In what order should we travel? Do we have time to fit another island? Blue water and some activities are our interests.

I suggest you do the island hopping first in Palawan and then go to Boracay to do more relaxed activities. If you’re departing from Cebu Airport, you can go on a day or overnight trip to Panglao & Bohol.

Clark Pampanga Tourist Spots and Attractions

It feels good to make someone smile in the morning.

An Aeta vendor couldn’t contain her happiness when I and a fellow travel blogger bought her kamote , a root-crop that she was selling. I remember her bright smile, then she told us that it was her “buena mano” or her very first sale that day. When she left, I continued looking at her. She went on the other side of the road where a lot more of her root-crops can be found. I saw her pulling out the money from us, and spread it lightly touching all the remaining kamote .  That made me smile.

I was loving Clark, Pampanga so far, our first day of familiarization tour sponsored by DOT Region 3. I enjoyed our morning coffee and bread, and I also liked what I was seeing – a fusion of nature and some buildings. Clark, Pampanga is a delight to explore.

After our satisfying coffee, we were off to our first stop, The Clark Museum and 4D Theater.

1. Clark Museum and 4D Theatre

Each of us was given 4D eyeglasses when we entered the Theater. It was such an interactive experience as we watched a film about Clark, Pampanga’s history. Our chairs moved and some sprinkle of water came out at the top part of the theater as the story of Clark was presented focusing on how it all started until the Mt. Pinatubo eruption.

How the unfortunate calamity destroyed Clark, how it rebuilt itself from the ashes to a fast-rising tourist destination that it is today.

I learned a lot about the history of Clark, and I can personally relate to the Mt. Pinatubo eruption. We were living in Taguig then, far away from Mt. Pinatubo, but I remember waking up as a kid and I saw our place and our home’s roof filled with ashes. Imagine the magnitude of its destruction to the people living near the eruption?

Our tour followed by exploring the Clark’s Museum. It’s a huge collection of Clark’s history, culture, and traditions. The museum is composed of 4 galleries, each depicting important aspects of Pampanga’s heritage.

Where is Clark, Pampanga?

Creativity at its finest.

Gallery One is all about the geological and geographical context of Clark. Where it is located featuring the rich nature that surrounds it like mountains of Arayat and Pinatubo. The second gallery focuses on people of Pampanga and Central Luzon, their way of life and also the trade and industry that reflected their traditions and natural resources.

Traditions.

Gallery 3 is all about the history of Clark Air Field and how it has affected the lives of its people. While the 4th gallery features Clark that has risen from the ashes, the modern and rising tourism and business destination that it is today, the Clark Freeport Zone.

While traveling to our next destination, it was also a chance for us to know more about Clark. Our tour guide explained every detail of places that we passed through like the barn houses, historical offices, and others. She grew up in Clark, so she shared a lot of interesting stories of her childhood. I really enjoyed it.

2. Clark Sun Valley Resort and Country Club

Our next stop is Clark Sun Valley Resort and Country Club, one of the highest points in Clark, Pampanga.

It’s a premier resort and real estate development with residential areas perfect for those who want a home overlooking nature. It’s just amazing how a huge golf course was also built going up the hill. But I can say that the best part is the spectacular view of the mountains and river from the resort, an awesome way to chill.

3. Hansa Creation (Toy International Philippines)

Probably one of the most interesting spots we visited is Hansa, a company located in Clark that creates real-life looking stuffed animals handmade by Filipino workers.

This is one of the pioneering investors in Clark economic zone, and most of its products are exported abroad. One staff from the company shared that the tiger used in the movie, Life of Pi, was created by Hansa. Also, they’re the preferred suppliers by Zoos and Wild Life Parks in the world

The company has viewing or exhibition rooms that showcase their products, real-life looking animals such as bears, snakes, dogs, penguins and a lot more. We had a chance to explore these rooms and we were all delighted with those real-life looking animals! I was particularly amazed at how they were able to create these, it takes a lot of dedication and attention to details.

4. Nayong Pilipino

I remember experiencing Nayong Pilipino when it was still located in Paranaque, years ago. But since it was transferred to Clark, this was my first time visiting it. Nayong Pilipino is a 45-acre theme park environment showcasing typical Filipino villages, cultures, and traditions. It is like traveling the entire country in one place. It’s like a miniature representation of anything about the Philippines and its rich culture.

The place is divided through different regions in the country like the Cordillera region, Ilocos regions, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

We entered a theater and watched a cultural presentation. It was a delight to watch talented and young Pinoys perform our very own songs and dances. It’s a great way to spread awareness of our unique culture which admittedly is slowly declining especially among the younger generations. The street parade is also something that you shouldn’t miss when you visit Nayong Pilipino.

5. Aqua Planet

Though Aqua Planet is still not yet open to the public, we were given access to this promising water park. Watch out for their official opening and launch in 2018. It will be announced on their website and social media accounts.

6. Commercio Centrale

We capped off our day by celebrating the launch of “Commercio Centrale” , a lifestyle weekend market at the Parade Grounds of Clark Freeport Zone.

Commercio Centrale showcases food and culture that will be more focused on Kapampangan traditions. Though we saw some commercialized food stalls there and some international cuisines, we still felt the celebrations that is uniquely Filipino. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Governor Lilia Pineda. We even had a chance to chat with them.

Later that night, more food was served! There were also some performers.  It was a night filled with smiles and celebration. It was a nice experience and a privilege to be able to celebrate Tourism and Kapampangan culture in one awesome day.

The entire program was in line with the national campaign of the Department of Tourism dubbed as “Bring Home A Friend.”

How to get from manila to pampanga by bus.

And if you’re coming from Manila to Pampanga. There are also buses headed for Angeles City. For more information check, how to get to Angeles City from Manila and P2P bus going to Manila International Airport . There is also transportation going to San Fernando City.

Manila to Pampanga travel time can be around 2-4 hours depending on the traffic leaving Manila. Manila to Pampanga bus fare can be around $3-4 USD depending on regular or with air condition.

If you get P2P Manila to Pampanga bus fare can be $8 USD . And the travel time Manila to Pampanga with P2P can be around 2-3 hours from Manila Airport to Clark Airport.

THINGS TO DO IN PAMPANGA AND PAMPANGA TOURIST SPOTS

This is a must try food in Pampanga, and take note Kapampangan’s are known to be good cooks. Sisig is the most popular dish in Pampanga. For starters, Sisig are just pig ears and head mixed with fried onions and chili, served with rice and calamansi.

2. LEARN ABOUT HISTORY ANGELES CITY

Juan D. Nepomuceno Center for Kapampangan Studies serves as a museum, research center, gallery and more. Many changes have occurred to Angeles City from its history that’s why this center had also adopted these changes.

This comprehensive library archives important files that anyone can read to learn about Angeles city’s history and its native Kapampangan people. It is located in the main building of Holy Angel University, Sto. Rosario, Angeles City.

3. HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL

It’s celebrated in February around Clark area in Pampanga. It´s one of the biggest festivals celebrated in Angeles City for over 20 years already.

4. ESCAPE TO THE BEACH

Olongapo, or the beach city , has a narrow entrance guarded by the navy and has a deep sea harbor and a spot very near to Pampanga. It is also a historic place for Philippines that’s why it made it to the top tourist spots in Pampanga.

Other places you can visit in Olongapo City include the the Subic Bay, Inflatable Island, Camayan Beach, and Baloy Beach.

5. HIKE A MOUNTAIN

There are few mountains to hike around Pampanga. The most popular hiking place could be Mt. Pinatubo . Trekking this mountain can be done in a day, which involves, riding a 4×4 on a lahar field, and 3-hour trekking back and forth. Below are some of the price packages if you are coming from Manila:

Miyamit Falls is located in Barangay Sapang Uwak, Porac in Pampanga. The trail for this falls is easy and rewarding plus you’ll love the green sceneries around it.

Tourists and locals love this falls because of its proximity to Manila plus the relaxation it brings. And of course, you could even swim here! One of the best Pampanga destinations.

7. FONTANA WATER PARK

14. san guillermo parish church.

San Guillermo Parish Church is located in Bacolor, Pampanga . It was originally constructed by the Augustinian Friars in 1576, making it one of the oldest churches in the province. Inside, there are paintings of the Pinatubo eruption in 1991.

15. HOLY ROSARY PARISH CHURCH

Holy Rosary Parish Church is one of the most iconic places in Angeles City, the locals call it “Pisambang Maragul” . Santo Rosario Church , or now known as the Holy Rosary Parish Church is a beautiful sight to visit having two tall towers and castle-like structures.

But more than its magnificent exterior, this house of worship carries a lot of controversial history that was held during the Spanish era . It’s a must-visit in the list of Pampanga tourist spots!

16. BETIS CHURCH GUAGUA

It’s located in Betis, Guagua . Betis Church is a Baroque style church under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Fernando. The church was dedicated to Saint James, the Apostle and it was established in 1607 .

17. ARZOBISPADO DE PAMPANGA CHURCH

It’s located in San Fernando, Pampanga . It was given a a Canonical Coronation by Pope Pius XII through a Papal Bull dated in 1956.

18. ZOOCOBIA

Zoocobia Fun Zoo can be anyone’s go-to place, whether a family with kids, grown-ups or group or friends, this is one of the places you won’t forget! There are so many thrilling activities for fun-lovers of all ages will surely enjoy.

Besides from the rides, they also serve affordable meals that provides a little bit of everything for you to try. Entrance fee is 300-400 PHP for adults while children under three feet can go inside for free !

19. FLYING AROUND MT PINATUBO FROM CLARK

Clark is a military air base and you can get a flight around Mount Pinatubo and Mount Arayat. Is it true that some places are best enjoyed from up above?

We walk the streets of Angeles City many times a year, but looking down the city and the provincial parts of it (farm lands and non-city/residential ares) was definitely more beautiful.

Riding a small airplane felt very different than your regular helicopter flight . This a very cool thing to do in Angeles City. The flight lasts 45 minutes and it costs $100 each person, perfect for planning a special activity to do with your friends.

20. SKY RANCH SAN FERNANDO PAMPANGA

Missing the rides in the city? Try riding here at Sky Ranch. This place is good for families, friends and just you, it’s fine too. You’ll enjoy the ambiance of this happy place because everybody is just enjoying every ride and attraction they try. You would surely enjoy the experience in Sky Ranch!

21. PUNNING HOT SPRING

Puning Hot Spring in Angeles City is a full-service hot spring that will surely pamper you to the max. It has natural hot springs that purify your skin and detox your system. Besides from its hot spring, they also provide multiple spa services.

Throughout, the view is beautiful and the entire experience is ultra-relaxing, yeah ultra! Prices start from 3500 PHP per person for a minimum of 3 people.

22. MALLS CULTURE IN PAMPANGA

Filipinos love going to the mall in their free time. Full of restaurants, coffee shops, entertainment for kids, SM Mall Clark and SM Pampanga in San Fernando. Marquee Mall is another place with beautiful gardens to hang out in. And if you want to get visa extension in the Philippines you can do the process in Marquee Mall.

FESTIVALS IN PAMPANGA

23. holy week.

It’s a religious and cultural activity most of Catholic Filipinos observe in the Philippines! People are literally imitating what Jesus went through before His death. You can see them in the streets around Angeles City participating in their Filipino traditions and practices from Wednesday to Friday in Holy week.

It’s also a tradition for Filipinos to avoid meat during Holy Week, so fish and vegetable dishes are famous in this period.

24. GIANT LANTERN FESTIVAL IN SAN FERNANDO

The huge and intricately designed lanterns, or parol , are exhibited every December in San Fernando City. The number of lights are limited to 10,000 light bulbs for each Giant Lantern participants during last years. This is a famous event in Pampanga that many locals and tourists join.

25. TIGTIGAN TERAKAN KENG DALAN

If you love going to festivals, you have to experience Angeles City’s Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan Festival , held every October . It’s an annual festival where people have colorful street dancing parades, tons of food and drink stalls and booths, and of course, loud music everywhere.

26. SINUKWAN FESTIVAL

Sinukwan Festival is celebrated in San Fernando City for one whole week. There are spectacular street dances and it’s so colorful. This is celebrated in November or December every year.
