After a last minute decision to travel we found ourselves needing anti- malaria medication and our normal Teladoc approach didn't work. We called beforehand to get basic information and set up an appointment for the following weekend. The location is a little hard to get into on the weekends due to all of the entrances to the building being locked. But there's paid street parking on 4th and 5th street and a security guard inside. Once inside you'll take the elevator up the the 5th floor and find the entrance right off the elevator. Once you come in it's a small waiting room and two offices. When we arrived there was only one employee, and we were greeted a few minutes later. The company clearly has a list of things they need to go through with every customer. They print out where you are going based off your questionnaire and which vaccines/medication. I'll be honest, I thought this would be a quick fifteen minute appointment and we were there for 45 minutes. We were only there for anti-malaria based on heavy research. We talked through absolutely everything, which I didn't find helpful but my husband did- which I'm taking into consideration. I didn't bring my vaccination records because despite it asking for them I didn't see why we needed it for anti-malaria. They need it to be able to go through the whole list of medication. At the end of the day we passed on everything but the malaria medication, the visit alone for two people was $150- and that was with the discount of having two people and the $10 off for completing in advance. This isn't a cheap option if you can avoid it because they don't take insurance. My biggest issue is we didn't leave with a prescription. The system appeared to be down and we really couldn't continue waiting. We were told the employee would reach out telling us where and when to pick up the prescription, unfortunately after not hearing anything we had to reach out to her. Overall, I wasn't super impressed and not sure I would recommend them unless you had no other option and plenty of time to wait.
