International superstar and one of music's more renowned trailblazers Shania Twain has released a new album 'Queen Of Me. The five-time GRAMMY® winner's new album features the new songs 'Giddy Up!', 'Waking Up Dreaming' and 'Last Day Of Summer'. To coincide with the release, Twain is embarking on a tour that will take her through North America and Europe starting April 2023. Queen Of Me is Twain's sixth studio album and includes the single 'Not Just A Girl', which featured in Twain's documentary, Shania Twain: Not Just A Girl, released earlier this year on Netflix.

Times TBC but we expect doors at 5:00pm with a show time of 6:00pm.

Those aged 16+ can attend unaccompanied. 8 to 15 year olds must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult (18+). No under 8s, sorry.

Shania Twain gets up close and personal with the crowd at Pryzm

Country megastar Shania Twain took to the stage at Pryzm on Friday evening (September 29) to play two intimate sets in celebration of her number one album  Queen of Me .

Despite her five Grammys, Twain made karaoke a central part of the night, and invited a fan to sing Any Man of Mine .

The singer also turned to the crowd for a best dressed contest. The winner joined her for a karaoke rendition of her smash single  That Don’t Impress Me Much . Shania even changed the iconic lyrics to: “So, you’re from Kingston? That don’t impress me much.”

The singer said: “I don’t get to do this often! It’s so nice to see all your faces,” as the lights raised around the room. The Kingston shows mark the end of the singer’s arena tour, which saw Twain play in cities such as Nashville, New York and Manchester, to crowds as large as 19,500.

Playing her greatest hits

Wearing a sheer black dress, the Canadian singer opened with her hit song  Come On Over . In a brief pause, she played around with harmonies as she said intimate venues are made for singing: “But you can sing this next song however you like!” she joked, as she played  Honey, I’m Home.

The chart toppers kept coming, as Twain played her most recent single  Giddy Up  which got the crowd dancing and singing along.

Slowing down the set, the hit maker played her fan favourite song  You’re Still The One  with just a guitar, which moved the crowd.

Twain closed her electric set with her iconic smash single  Man! I Feel Like a Woman  which had the room bouncing. If there is one thing Shania has proven, it is that she has still got it.

After the set, the singer was presented with an album sales plaque for six million copies of  Queen of Me  sold, to which she thanked the crowd. She made sure to stop and sign many autographs on the front row afterwards.

It was a night not to be missed, proved so by tickets selling out in a matter of seconds.

Shania Twain Biography

Eilleen Regina Edwards was born in Windsor, Ontario, in 1965 and developed an interest in music at a very early age. At the age of 13, she performed on the Tommy Hunter show and was part of a band named Longshot.

In 1987, her mother and stepfather were killed in a car crash, which led to her returning home to look after her younger siblings. She never gave up on her musical dreams and fought to become one of the most popular artists of all time.

After opting to go solo, she attracted the attention of labels and was signed by Mercury Nashville Records ahead of the release of her self-titled debut album in 1993. Shania Twain's first record was a moderate success, but a stellar career was just around the corner.

In 1995, her second studio album was released, and The Woman In Me became an international best-seller. The record topped the US Country music charts and sold over 12 million copies in the United States alone and saw Shania Twain perform the perfect country pop crossover. The album won Shania Twain the first of her five Grammy Awards.

The album included the hit singles Any Man of Mine, You Win My Love, and Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under. If that album was considered a storming success, what followed was an even bigger triumph.

In 1997 her third studio album, Come On Over, was released, and it has gone on to become the best-selling country album of all time and has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, going to the top of the charts in the UK, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, the Netherland, Iceland, Ireland, New Zealand and Norway.

The album contained perhaps her most famous song, "You're Still The One," as well as "That Don't Impress Me Much," "Man, I Feel Like a Woman," and "You've Got a Way." Five years later, she released her next album, "Up!"

It would take another 15 years before Shania Twain released her next album as she took a break from music to raise her family. Now was a number-one hit in 2017, and six years later, she released her sixth studio album, Queen of Me, which was backed by her Queen of Me Tour, which has proven a huge success.

This came after the release of her Not Just a Girl compilation album in 2022, which helped to get exposure back to the queen of country pop. Shania Twain has already achieved so much over the course of her career and don't bet against more success coming her way in the years to come.

Her new album secured positive reviews, and her upcoming tour is sure to be an awesome show and the big draw on the Las Vegas strip.

Shania Twain is the best-selling female artist in country music history, and she has sold in excess of 100 million records while garnering all manner of awards, including those previously referenced five Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, 11 Billboard Music Awards, four Ivor Novello nominations, and an MTV Video Music Award.
