By: Author Caroline Ikeji

Categories Photo Guides , Tennessee , USA

From colorful murals, glitzy neon signs, trendy cafes, and fascinating historical sites, there are so many fun Nashville Instagram spots.

I’ve always been intrigued by Nashville and it had always been on my bucket list, and I finally went and loved it! While it is known as a party town (kinda like Las Vegas and New Orleans ) and that’s not exactly my scene anymore (hey, I’m old now after all), I loved all the vibrant murals everywhere, and the hipster vibe.

It’s such a fun destination for a girls’ weekend or a bachelorette trip !

There were so many amazing Nashville photo spots everywhere, and I couldn’t stop snapping photos! I only had 2 days there, but I wish I had more, because there were so many more cool murals + other fun spots that I wanted to hit up.

If you’re planning to visit Nashville and love taking photos, then you are in for a treat! Here are all the best Instagram spots in the city, from the best Nashville murals, coolest coffee shops, and other photogenic locations.

Planning a Nashville Murals Tour

Doing a tour of Nashville murals and Instagram spots is a fun activity to add to your itinerary! I’ve listed all the Nashville photo spots I mention on this map , so you can easily plan your own tour.

Most of the places on this list are relatively walkable from each other (FYI – going from downtown to the West End is about 1.5 miles, or a 30 minute walk). For areas outside this radius, I was easily able to get to those spots via Uber/Lyft.

Fun a fun activity, consider doing this Nashville Instagram tour , which takes you to some of the places listed here (plus other Nashville murals) in a golf cart, along with commentary from a local guide! This would be a fun excursion on a girls’ trip or bachelorette party as well.

Most Instagrammable Nashville Murals in 12 South

The 12 South neighborhood was perhaps my most favorite area to explore in the city, simply because of the abundance of amazing Nashville murals that exist everywhere you look!

You’ll find some of the most iconic Nashville Instagram spots, as well as some other colorful gems. In addition, there are tons of fun boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and bars here – I definitely suggest spending an entire afternoon exploring this entire area!

Here are some of my most favorite Nashville murals in 12 South:

visit nashville instagram

I Believe in Nashville

Perhaps one of the most iconic sights in all of the city, theis famous mural is one of the best places to take pictures in Nashville, and snapping a photo with it is a must!

It’s a perfect backdrop for any kind of shot you want to take – solo shots, couples shots, families, with your friends, and more and the perfect way to document any Nashville trip.

The emblem from the mural, which was designed by local artist Adrien Sporiti in 2012, was originally painted to symbolize the city’s resiliency, strength, and ability to come together. It has since been plastered on anything and everything from T-shirts, postcards, shot glasses, and more.

I suggest coming in the morning, or late in the afternoon for the best lighting, and to avoid unflattering shadows. Unfortunately, I only had time to come midday, however, I got lucky because there were periods of cloud cover which allowed for even lighting – yay! Be careful when jumping into the middle of the alley to frame your shot, because there can sometimes be cars passing through.

You could wear almost whatever you want (maybe avoid bold prints though), but wouldn’t it be fun if you wore an outfit with some fun cowboy boots you picked up in the city?

The I Believe in Nashville mural on 12 South is the original, but there is actually a second version as well. If you want to find the second mural, you can find it at Marathon Music Works, located about a mile from the State Capitol.

Blue + White Striped Mural

Right across the alley from the I Believe in Nashville mural is this pretty wall with blue and white stripes, which also makes a perfect backdrop for all of your Instagram photos.

I love the simplicity of this one, because the possibilities are endless for your photos, which makes it one of the best Nashville picture spots! I’ve seen so many different versions of photos with this wall, and I love them all.

You can play around with focal length and how far away you take the photos from here (close up, wide angle, portraits, etc.) as well as the angle (straight on, from the side, etc), which makes it one of the most fun Nashville photo spots – you can let your creativity run free.

The simplicity of this wall means that you basically can almost wear anything you want without competing with the mural! One of the most perfect Nashville murals because of it,

Like the I Believe in Nashville wall (as well as most of the rest of the Nashville murals on 12 South that I list here), try to avoid midday if you can to eliminate harsh shadows.

Draper James Floral Mural

Located right next to the blue and white stripe mural, this beautiful mural just exudes southern charm and is one of the prettiest Nashville Instagram spots!

The floral mural is in pretty shades of blue, and is painted in front of the original location of Draper James, Reese Witherspoon’s clothing boutique that is inspired by classic southern style.

There’s a white bench in front of it, perfect for posing for your Instagram shots. Take photos straight on, or sitting to the side, with your girlfriends, or with your significant other…there are lots of options here making it one of the most perfect Nashville photoshoot locations!

I’d suggest wearing something solid color or with a subtle print so as to not contrast too much with the florals and the blue. Something pastel looks super lovely in front of this mural!

visit nashville instagram

Looking Pretty Music City

This is another one of those Nashville murals that is perfect for documenting your trip, whether it’s a solo trip, couples trip, or a getaway with your girlfriends (it’s a perfect backdrop for those bachelorette party photos too!).

Designed by Emily Eisenhart and Eastside Murals , this wall is located on the side of the Madewell building and features bright, happy colors and whimsy motifs, making it one one of the best Nashville Instagram spots!

It’s pretty wide horizontally, so your best to capture as much of the design as possible is to shoot it from the side. You can try to photograph it from across the street as well. If you only want to include part of the design, like just the text or the motifs, then you can also shoot straight on as well.

Because this mural has pretty simple, solid shapes in the design, you can pretty much get away with wearing anything you want to take photos in front of it! Neutrals (especially white) will stand out against it, but I think that wearing a bright color will coordinate perfectly and look really fun against the colors in the mural.

As I keep saying, avoiding the mid-afternoon hours will yield you the best lighting here, but if you can’t avoid it then so be it – it’s still worth it so you can snap photos at one of the best Nashville picture spots.

Flowers mural

You’ll find this cute floral mural just about a block down the street from the Looking Pretty Music City wall. The artist of the mural is unknown, but the flowers mural appears on the south side of the United Apparel Liquidators building.

This vibrant mural will make you feel like you’re frolicking in a field of colorful wildflowers, making it one of the best Nashville photo spots! Upon closer look of the mural, you can see the detail and the brushstrokes of the design, which really makes you see how whimsical it is.

You can photograph this mural in so many different ways, which truly makes it one of the best places to take pictures in Nashville. I love the bit of femininity it adds, but it can also just serve as a colorful backdrop for your vibrant photos!

Play around with different angles and focal lengths here, from close-ups to wide angle shots. While I wanted to capture a good number of the flowers in my shots, I also saw some beautiful portraits from a local photographer who had the subject stand just a bit in front of the wall and then had the mural be a blurred bokeh background – it was such a pretty effect!

The flowers can look a bit busy as a backdrop, so I suggest wearing solid colors or very subtle prints (small polka dots, subtle stripes, etc). White would look really awesome against the flowers, as will pastels. For some fun shots, bring a bouquet of flowers to use as a prop.

Avoiding the midday hours will, again, help you avoid super harsh shadows. I had to deal with them here and I love these shots, but avoid them if you can help it!

Nashville Looks Good on You

This minimalistic mural makes a bold statement – “Nashville looks good on you” – and is perfect for all your vacation photos from Music City.

The slogan and design was created by nash.TN , a local designer, to capture the city’s artistic movement and creative spirit. It also appears on lots of merchandise and souvenirs throughout the city, from T-shirts, postcards, hats, posters, mugs, and more.

You’ll have so much fun looking good and shooting in front of this mural, one of the most Instagrammable places in Nashville. It’s simple but packs a lot of punch! Have fun dressing up, dressing down, throwing on any kind of outfit you want – the simplicity lends itself to photograph well with almost anything! Don’t go too busy though, because it might clash a bit with the boldness of the text.

This is a fun mural to photograph with groups, although I enjoyed shooting with it just by myself! It would make a cute couples photo backdrop as well.

This mural is located in a parking lot behind the Frothy Monkey. You wouldn’t know it is here, because it is hidden away from all the other murals that are on 12 South.

I came here midday and there were shadows cast from the trees in the lot, however, in this case it worked out in my favor! It added just enough of a shaded part in front of the wall so I was able to get lighting. I know someone who came after breakfast though and she said the lighting was atrocious. Closer to sunset would make an ideal time to shoot here as well.

What Lifts You Wings

This beautiful wings mural by popular muralist Kelsey Montague has become one of the most popular Nashville photo spots since it was painted in 2016.

The renowned wings exploded to fame and became one of the most well-known Nashville photoshoot spots after Taylor Swift (who kickstarted her country music career here) posted a photo with one of Montague’s works. The wings and the #whatliftsyou have been very popular since then!

The mural is meant to encapsulate the spirit of the city into its wings – since Nashville is known for its music scene, you’ll see motifs such as guitars and music notes embedded into the wings if you look at them closely.

You’ll usually find a line of people waiting to snap a photo with the wings, but it is worth it to be able to photograph one of the most well-known Nashville murals. I’d suggest coming earlier in the day to avoid crowds and waiting for too long (and for the best lighting). For reference, I came on a Wednesday morning around 10am, and while there were a few people taking photos here, it wasn’t too bad. I imagine it is much more crowded on the weekends.

Because the wall is black and white, wear something that will help you stand out against it. Wearing a lighter, brighter color will help you pop, as will white. I’d recommend against wearing busy patterns as well, since there is a lot of detail in the wings.

Just next to the mural is a smaller set of wings, which is perfect for taking photos of children and pets.

Nashville Walls Project

Just down the street from the What Lifts You Wings, you will find the giant, colorful mural that is part of the Nashville Walls project.

Adorned with bold geometric shapes and patterns as well as bright colors, this mural by Jason Woodside is one of the best places to take pictures in Nashville and to add a bit of color and fun into your photos!

You can play around with different ways to capture this giant mural, whether you shoot a close-up portrait, or try to capture it in its entirety (or as much of it as you can!) – your subject can be a tiny speck against the bold patterns, which can be a fun shot!

Coming in the morning or late afternoon (or on a cloudy day) will help you take the best shots, as you’ll have less shadows which can be very distracting when the design is already so bold.

A simple outfit – a solid or a subtle pattern – so that you can stand against all of the different patterns. Although, I ended up wearing a colorful striped dress to this wall, and I kinda love how it looked against all the color!

There is a second mural by Ian Ross right next to this as well, for another cool photo op.

Candy Hearts at Finnleys

These adorable candy hearts are located in front of the Finnleys clothing store and is one of the best Nashville Instagram spots for photos with your gal pals! They are especially fun for bachelorette photos (one of the hearts even says “back please”), but also are awesome for solo shots and even couples photos.

The colorful hearts have various sayings in them, from “cheers, y’all,” “hello gorgeous,” “we’re going shopping,” and more. Some of the sayings are super sassy, like “thank u, next” and “get in, loser.”

Since there are parking spaces right in front of the wall, I’d suggest coming either before or after store hours so you can get the best shots. I came sometime in the afternoon and there were cars parked right in front of it, so I had to shoot from some really awkward angles. Still thought the photos were cute, though!

It’s Gonna be OK

This giant mural by Sarah Tate is a beautiful symbol of staying positive during bleak times, and makes a powerful statement in your Instagram photos.Just seeing the happy colors and the whimsical motifs and text will help lift your spirits and put you in a better mood, making this one of the best Nashville picture spots.

Keep in mind that this mural is HUGE – I’m talking 75 feet! It is difficult to capture it in its entirety with a straight on angle, unless you run into the middle of the street. However, the mural is located on a busy street so that is definitely not recommended! The street is also pretty wide, so trying to capture it from across the street isn’t the easiest either, unless you have a zoom lens.

Therefore, you’re gonna have to play around with angles here! I shot it from the side, including both the sentiment and the floral motifs.

Because there is so much white space on the mural, I suggest wearing something with a bit of color (perhaps matching the ones in the design) to help you pop against it.

The whole street is lined with super cool murals, so you can spend a bit of time capturing them all! However, the shadows were harsh when I was here (again, try to come when the sun is lower in the sky), so I opted to just snap a photo with this one and not with the rest.

Nashville Like Never Before

You’ll find this colorful Nashville Like Never Before mural by artist Nathan Brown near the parking garage of Fifth + Broadway, an outdoor mall downtown with lots of cool shops, restaurants (including some of the most popular in the city!), a food hall, and more.

Do note that because the mural is located near the parking garage, it is in a shaded area. Coming when the sun is at its brightest, like in the middle of the afternoon, might have the best chance of getting just a bit of natural light in here, but otherwise lighting can be a bit on the darker side. It’s still worth snapping a photo here because this is one of the most colorful Nashville murals!

This mural is done in Brown’s signature style, with geometric shapes and bright colors, in a gradient style.

There is a second mural by Brown at the Patagonia store in the Gulch (not too far from the What Lifts You Up mural), and a third in front of the flagship location of Five Points Pizza in East Nashville.

Most Instagram Worthy Nashville Cafes, Restaurants, and Bars

visit nashville instagram

Pinewood Social

One of the most iconic hangouts in Nashville, Pinewood Social is a restaurant, cafe, bowling alley, entertainment venue, coworking space, and craft cocktail bar. It’s one of the most popular brunch spots in Nashville, and very much worth a stop on any Nashville itinerary!

The blue neon sign in scripty font above the bowling lanes here oozes retro vibes and makes this one of the most Instagrammable places in Nashville! Even years ago, way before I knew much about Nashville, when I saw photos of the bowling alley here, I knew that I’d have to come someday and I finally did!

Grab a group of friends, have brunch, play some rounds of bowling, and snap some photos for a fun time! I was here by myself though, so I settled for an iced latte in the cafe and this photo of just the bowling alley.

I imagine it gets busy on the weekends and in the evenings, but I came on an afternoon during the week and it was pretty empty (although the cafe and restaurant were still pretty busy), so this would be the best time for photos.

White Limozeen

Located on top of the Graduate Hotel (more on that later), this Dolly Parton-themed restaurant and rooftop bar is one of the trendiest spots in Nashville, as well as one of the most photogenic!

Everything here is super pink, bold, and over-the-top, much like Dolly herself! You’ll find plenty of photo-worthy details here, from the plus chairs, extravagant chandeliers, bold paintings, hot pink pink chaises and scalloped umbrellas, making this one of the top Nashville Instagram spots.

visit nashville instagram

There’s even a giant chicken wire sculpture of Dolly outside (sadly, it rained while I was there so I couldn’t snap photos of it). Plus, there are some amazing views of the city!

This is such a fun spot for a night out (or brunch) with your girlfriends, and is an especially popular spot for bachelorette parties (I saw no less than three bachelorette groups while I was there). There’s also a rooftop pool, which you can rent out as well.

visit nashville instagram

White Limozeen is one of the trendiest spots in Nashville, so in order to experience it, you are going to have to make reservations well in advance! Book an earlier time slot so that you can catch it relatively empty to take photos. You won’t want to miss it – this is definitely one of the best places to take pictures in Nashville!

Five Daughters Bakery

If you know me, you know that there are two ways to my heart – colorful murals + yummy desserts. This location of Five Daughters Bakery in the 12 South area has both, therefore it was one of my favorite places in Nashville!

They are known for the pink and teal “I Heart Donuts” mural right next to the entrance, which is the perfect way to show your love for donuts! There’s also an adorable umbrella and sprinkles mural on the side of the building, and some donuts painted on the fence – some of the cutest Nashville Instagram spots around.

visit nashville instagram

Absolutely do not miss sampling at least one (preferably a few) of the donuts here! I’m always skeptical of cute places like this because a lot of the time the food itself is mediocre, but I was super impressed with the donuts here, especially the 100 layer donuts (which are like a cronut). Sooooo good!

The murals are perfect for snapping a photo with your donut, or just the donut itself. There’s also some benches in front of the building so you can take photos sitting on them, or standing up – the choice is yours.

I had to come in the afternoon, but I would avoid it if you can because my photos have so many harsh shadows.

Three Brothers Coffee

This adventure-inspired coffee shop located in the West End, near Vanderbilt University, has a cool patterned alcove area, making it one of the best Nashville photo spots

There are tribal inspired motifs painted onto the walls on the alcove (they almost remind me of hieroglyphics), which make a super fun backdrop!

The alcove is located outside on the street. It looks a little bit dingy, but I thought it added a bit of a cool grungy look to my photos.

Barista Parlor

Barista Parlor is highly regarded as one of the best coffee shops in town, as well as one of the best Nashville picture spots.

They have several locations throughout the city and all are very aesthetically pleasing and perfect for photos, but I loved the one in the Gulch/Golden Sound. This one has a cool pastel blue and white exterior that is just made for photos!

visit nashville instagram

I think it would be really fun to wear a nautical-themed outfit or stripes to snap a photo here to go along with the theme. It’s also the perfect backdrop for taking photos of your latte art (please tell me I’m not the only one who does this every time I get a coffee?).

Hampton Social

One of the cutest restaurants in town, perfect for a girls’ brunch or a bachelorette party! Hampton Social is definitely a vibe, which means it’s perfect for taking cute photos.

I loved the Hampton Social in Chicago , so I was excited to see that there was a location in Nashville as well. Unfortunately, I only had time to snap a quick photo of this wall as I was walking by, which would make a perfect backdrop for a group photo with all your gals!

Also don’t miss posing under the cute “Rosé All Day” neon sign (preferably while sipping on a glass of rosé  or even frosé !).

Biscuit Love

Biscuit Love is one of the most popular restaurants in Nashville, usually with a line out the door. One bite into that perfectly flaky, perfectly buttery biscuit and it’s easy to see why – it’s a damn good biscuit (it’s known as one of the best in the country).

There are two locations of Biscuit Love – one in the Gulch, and one in Hillsboro. The one in the Gulch is known to be less crowded (and super close to a bunch of other places to take pictures in Nashville).

Obviously, you should snap a photo of your meal to make your followers drool, but both locations have cute decor as well – the highlight being a neon sign that says Nashville at the Gulch location, and Music City at the Hillsboro outpost.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken

Nashville is a city known for its hot chicken, and Hattie B’s has one of the best – it was my favorite meal during my stay! You’ll find locations all over the city (and even beyond – there’s even an outpost in Las Vegas !), but some are more photogenic than others. The Hattie B’s on Charlotte Avenue has a fun chicken mural outside, and the Fifth + Broadway location also has one inside the restaurant, both of which make for some fun photos.

Even if you don’t visit one of these two locations (I didn’t and ended up going to one near my hotel), you definitely must stop by one of the others and snap a photo of your food for your Instagram feed – you’ll make everyone hungry!

Broadway Street/Honky Tonk Highway

One of the most iconic sights in the city, the stretch of Broadway Street nicknamed the “Honky Tonk Highway” is also one of the best places to take pictures in Nashville.

This infamous area is known for its nightlife, with tons of bars and honky tonks lining the street. Even if it’s not quite your scene (it’s definitely not mine), you still have to stop in a few honky tonks to experience them – kinda like you have to go to Bourbon Street when you go to New Orleans . Definitely do a pub crawl here for a fun evening out!

What makes the Honky Tonk Highway one of the best Nashville photography locations is all of the neon signs that line the street – they make for some super fun photos!

visit nashville instagram

Do note that the street gets super busy, especially at night and on the weekends. The best time to photograph the neon signs is at night, although this is when the area is at its busiest. It might be difficult to capture a good photo with not much background clutter, however, you can still photograph the signs at night!

For photos with you in them, coming in the morning or afternoon would be much better. Even though the signs won’t be lit up, the vibrant colors of them still make some fun shots! There will probably be people walking up and down the street and stumbling in and out of bars in the daytime, but it will not be nearly as crowded as in the evenings – not even close.

You’ll also find a ton of fun rooftop bars along this strip, which have some amazing views of downtown and the city.

Printer’s Alley

The historic Printer’s Alley is one of the coolest Nashville photo spots, and a vibrant reminder of the city’s past. As its name implies, the alley was once home to 10 printers and 13 publishers, including The Tennessean and The Nashville Banner, two of the city’s largest newspapers.

The Printer’s Alley of today is much different than its heyday back in the early 1900s, and is  now a nightlife hub, lined with many bars and clubs. It’s also known as the place that helped launch the careers of many well-known musicians, including Hank Williams, Jimi Hendrix, and the Supremes.

visit nashville instagram

This is one of the most Instagrammable places in Nashville because of the combination of brick, vibrant neon signs, and the twinkling string lights that hang above the alley. It makes for some really awesome photos!

For some fun shots, shoot at a wide aperture (low F stop) or on portrait mode to create some bokeh in the background – the twinkly lights look super cool that way! For reference, I took photos with my 50mm lens at f1.8.

The arch and sign at the entrance of the alley is also a great spot for photos as well!

John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

For amazing views of the Nashville skyline, head on over to the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, which stands across the Cumberland River and connects Downtown Nashville to Nissan Stadium. Spanning over 3500 feet, it’s actually one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world!

It is one of the most popular Nashville Instagram spots at sunset, so try to come photograph it during then for some especially amazing shots.

visit nashville instagram

Even if you cannot come during sunset, you’ll still be able to capture some awesome photos of the city skyline and waterfront. The bridge itself makes for some cool photos too, so be sure to snap some walking on the bridge as well!

I was a little bit confused as to where to get on the bridge and was circling around a bit to find it. The entrance is on Third Avenue S, so look for the entrance there.

The Parthenon

Located in Centennial Park, the Parthenon is one of the most beautiful (yet seemingly random) Nashville photo spots. Built in Tennessee’s 1897 Centennial Exposition, the Parthenon is a full-scale replica of the original in Athens, and is an art museum showcasing 19th and 20th century American paintings.

Definitely capture photos of the building in its entirety – it’s pretty impressive, and you’ll swear you’ve transported yourself to Greece! I loved getting some shots with the columns as well.

I came in the morning around 10am, but I imagine it would look amazing during sunrise or sunset, with the golden rays of light hitting the grandness of the building.

The historic Ryman Auditorium is known as one of the most celebrated venues in modern music, and is most famous for being the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974.

It belongs on this list of places to take pictures in Nashville because of the vibrantly colored stained glass windows that surround the building. Definitely photograph them from the inside while touring the auditorium – they would make for some fun silhouette photos! – but they look super cool from the outside as well.

Graduate Hotel

There are many amazing places to stay in Nashville, but if you’re looking for a hotel that both has amazing hospitality AND is Instagrammable, then the Graduate Nashville is hands-down your best bet!

I first found out about the Graduate Hotels brand when looking at places to stay in Tempe, Arizona , and while I didn’t stay at that one, I’ve stayed at a few of their properties since ( Seattle , Berkeley, and of course, Nashville), and have loved every single one of them!

visit nashville instagram

Graduate Hotels are located in college towns, and each have a hip, boutiquey vibe with design touches that are inspired by the universities in each of their locations (in Nashville’s case, Vanderbilt). The Nashville location is one of the most Instagrammable, with decor inspired by southern charm, making it one of the best Nashville photo spots!

It’s one of the cutest pink hotels looooooved all the pink everywhere, especially in the guest rooms, which are also inspired by Dolly Parton. Each of the beds has a really pretty canopy, and a portrait of Dolly hanging right above it! I definitely had a little photo shoot right after checking in.

visit nashville instagram

Even if you don’t stay at the hotel, you absolutely must head over to the Graduate to check out their lobby! Each and every detail of the lobby and common areas is an absolute feast for the eyes, making the hotel one of the top Nashville Instagram spots.

I loved the couches near the front desk, right after you walk in, with seed packets on the wall. You’ll also find a collection of couches in vintage prints further down into the lobby, with colorful Art Deco Taco Bell posters on the wall, which makes some fun shots! There is also a super pretty sitting area/atrium right behind the Poindexter, the in-house cafe. Also check out the plush pink couches near the window, and the star-print carpet.

Amelia’s Flower Truck

This adorable flower truck is technically not a location since it moves around every day, but wherever it is that day ends up being one of the top Nashville Instagram spots. There’s nothing like colorful flowers and a fun vintage truck for some cute photos.

You can see where the truck will be every day here . They also have an actual storefront located in L&L Market on Charlotte Avenue.

30 Best Things to Do in Nashville, From Civil Rights Exhibits to Live Music

Locals weigh in on how to explore this energetic capital city.

visit nashville instagram

Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure

If Nashville holds a spot on your must-visit list, you’re not alone — in 2022, more than 14 million people made their way to Music City to take in the sights, sounds, and tastes of the cultural hub (and yes, that number includes bachelorette parties ). While Nashville’s reputation as a country music destination precedes itself, there’s more to Tennessee’s capital than the honky tonks on Broadway, the Grand Ole Opry, and The Bluebird Cafe (although travelers should make a point to visit all three). It’s home to top-tier museums, sprawling green spaces, historical markers, and no shortage of places to eat or grab a drink. “The quality of the food and restaurant scene has really exploded over the past 10 years,” says Meredith DiMenna, director of programming for Hutton Hotel and its live music venue, Analog . No matter where you choose to dine in Nashville, your itinerary must include two things: hot chicken and a meal at a meat-and-three (more on that later). “ Prince’s is my go-to for hot chicken, while Puckett’s always impresses with their meat-and-three,” says chef Maneet Chauhan, who owns three restaurants in Nashville: Chauhan Ale & Masala House , Tansuo , and The Mockingbird .

Famous music sights and non-negotiable Southern dishes will quickly fill up your days and nights over a long weekend getaway, but there’s so much more to discover within the metro area. To help narrow down the list of the best things to do in Nashville, we tapped a few residents, DiMenna and Chauhan included, to share what’s on their “must-do” agenda for anyone spending time in Tennessee’s largest city.  Related : 5 Best Hotels in Nashville

Listen to live music at Robert’s Western World.

Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure

If you can only fit in one stop along Nashville’s famed Honky Tonk Highway, make sure it’s Robert’s Western World . “You can’t beat the traditional country music every night there,” says Stephen Rose, founder of The Peach Truck . If you’re feeling a bit peckish, order a fried bologna sandwich to go with your cold beer.

Have a meal at a meat-and-three.

This Southern food concept is straightforward: Pick your meat and your three sides. “[Meat-and-threes] used to be pretty much the only food in Nashville, before it became the food Mecca it is today. There are so many good places that offer this, [but] I’m partial to Martin’s BBQ ,” says DiMenna.

Snap a photo in front of a mural.

Jason Kempin/Getty Images

You’ve probably seen one of Nashville’s many murals on Instagram, but nothing compares to seeing them in real life. Get a picture with artist Kim Radford’s Dolly Parton in East Nashville, or line up in front of the black-and-white “Nashville Looks Good on You” mural in 12South. No matter which neighborhoods you visit, you’ll probably run into one of the city’s many large-scale creations.

Get tickets for a show at The Bluebird Cafe.

Robert Alexander/Getty Images

You never know who will stop by The Bluebird Cafe to play a few songs — Maren Morris, LeAnn Rimes, and Taylor Swift among them. The listening room only has 90 seats, so it’s an intimate and special experience for both the performers and the audience. “It’s such a great spot for a date night, girls’ night, etc., and you could be watching the next biggest country music superstar,” says chef Chauhan.

Tour the Civil Rights Room at the Nashville Public Library.

Paul Natkin/Getty Images

The Civil Rights Movement in Nashville, which took place during the 1950s and 60s, is well documented inside the Nashville Public Library. Powerful photographs showcase the work and events that eventually led to desegregation, and there’s also a symbolic lunch counter, where you can read the Ten Rules of Conduct carried by the protesters during the sit-ins.

Walk around one of Nashville’s many public parks.

Ivey Redding/Travel + Leisure

In between meals, you may want to get your steps in, and there are myriad ways to do so. “When visiting, you must walk across the [John Seigenthaler] Pedestrian Bridge, and check out Nashville’s selection of public parks,” says DiMenna. Centennial Park and Bicentennial Park are two of the more well-known spots, but there’s also Shelby Park, Percy Warner Park, and Cumberland Park. “It’s easy to forget that there is a lot of nature in Nashville, and if the weather is right — don’t try this when it’s super hot — you can get the feeling of being on a true nature walk while you’re still within city limits,” she adds.

Snack on a donut from Five Daughters Bakery.

If you have a sweet tooth, schedule a trip to Five Daughters Bakery . There are several locations around Nashville, but the 12South store might be the most picturesque. Once you’ve acquired a donut or two, you can take an Instagram-worthy photo in front of the iconic “I Heart Donuts” mural.

Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

To truly understand Nashville and its role in music over the years, you must visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and its extensive collections. “In a stroll through the galleries, [you will] experience everything from Thomas Heart Benton’s The Sources of Country Music painting and Elvis Presley’s 1960 Gold Cadillac to the American Currents: The State of the Music exhibit, which takes a broad look at the genre’s contributions to art and life across the last year,” explains Lisa Purcell, executive vice president of external affairs for the museum.

Get a taste of hot chicken.

rez-art/Getty Images

Have a cold glass of sweet tea on standby when dining on hot chicken, especially if you’re sensitive to a bit of heat. “Hot chicken is obviously a must in Nashville, and my go-to is Bolton’s in East Nashville. You can’t ever have a bad experience there,” says Rose.

Shop around 12South.

Courtesy of Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp.

One of the more walkable areas in Nashville, the 12South neighborhood is filled with coffee shops, bakeries, and boutique stores. Imogene + Willie is known for denim pieces, and White’s Mercantile, owned by Holly Williams, is billed as a “general store for the modern tastemaker.”

Pick up local produce at a Nashville farmers’ market.

Jeffrey Greenberg/Universal Images Group via Getty Images

If you want to experience Nashville as the locals do, head to one of its many farmers’ markets. “I recommend 12 South Farmers Market in beautiful Sevier Park on Tuesday nights and Richland Park Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings,” says chef Tony Mantuano, who, along with his wife Cathy, guides the food and beverage program at The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel.

See a show at the Grand Ole Opry.

Self-described as the “home of country music,” the weekly live country music radio broadcast has been around since 1925. From 1974 on, it’s been housed in the Opry House, where acts ranging from up-and-comers to big names play multiple nights a week. If you want backstage access before the show, be sure to book a tour in advance.

Book a stay at one of Nashville’s best hotels.

A tourist destination as large as Nashville must meet demand with a variety of accommodation options. Choose from luxurious newcomers like Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville and Conrad Nashville , or veer more toward boutique hotels — Graduate Nashville , Hutton Hotel, Bobby Hotel , and Urban Cowboy are all great choices. The latter, according to Rose, is also ideal for pizza and cocktails. “The vibe is always super on point, with the location housed in a gorgeous mansion in East Nashville,” he adds.

Bowl a few games at Pinewood Social.

A night out in Nashville doesn’t have to include fighting the crowds along Broadway. Instead, you can opt for dinner, drinks, and bowling at Pinewood Social . The six lanes made of reclaimed wood are open seven days a week, and ball and shoe rentals are included.

Buy a pair of cowboy boots.

When in Nashville, right? There are several places to purchase your own pair of boots, including Boot Country , Nashville Boot Co. , and Betty Boots . If you want an extra-luxe experience, custom boot fittings are offered in the VIP loft at Lucchese . “Guests of The Joseph have unique access to schedule a custom fitting at the Lucchese store in The Gulch. Guided by their experts, [you] choose [the] style, materials, shape — everything from toe to heel,” says chef Mantuano.

Pose in front of The Parthenon.

Bruce Yuanyue Bi/Getty Images

Photo ops are widely available in Nashville, but The Parthenon might be one of the more impressive ones. “The Parthenon in Centennial Park is a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens, and it's so unique and stunning to see,” says chef Chauhan.

Get your biscuit fix at The Loveless Cafe.

Courtesy of Loveless Cafe

Biscuits are par for the course in the South, so you can’t leave Nashville without having one or two for breakfast. The Loveless Cafe has been serving its famous biscuits to Nashvillians and visitors since 1951; try them with country ham, fruit preserves, or the red-eye gravy.

Explore the National Museum of African American Music.

The National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) opened in early 2021, preserving and celebrating the Black music experience across genres. Interactive technology lives alongside artifacts, memorabilia, and clothing to create six engaging exhibits that highlight the history of hip-hop, gospel, blues, jazz, R&B, spirituals, and more. “This is the newest edition to the music museums, and it is absolutely incredible. You can spend hours in here if you’re a music fan,” says DiMenna.

Make a souvenir at Hatch Show Print.

Jackson Vance/Travel + Leisure

Part of the Country Music Hall of Fall and Museum, Hatch Show Print has been creating designs and show posters with its vintage type and hand-carved imagery since 1879. Visitors can stop by to learn more about the letterpress print and design shop or they can opt to make something themselves. “Advance book your slot in hands-on workshops, called Block Parties, which invite participants to use some of Nashville’s most recognized imagery to make Hatch Show Prints of their own,” says Purcell.

Swing by the Nashville Zoo.

Misty Mullican/Getty Images

“The Nashville Zoo is a great place to visit for the day, [and it's] enjoyed by both adults and children,” says chef Chauhan. The expansive zoo has more than 3,000 animals and hosts programming that includes overnight camping experiences, classes, and more.

Karaoke at Santa’s Pub.

For more than a decade, Santa’s Pub has been welcoming guests 21 and over for cold beer and karaoke. Like many things in Nashville, it’s something you have to see to believe. “Sunday night at Santa’s Pub. Just trust me,” says Rose.

Stroll around Lower Broad in the evening.

The Lower Broad section of the Broadway Historic District has a variety of sights and sounds to experience. Along with Robert’s Western World, you’ll find Tootsies Orchid Lounge , Legends Corner , and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row . “It captures the pulse of the city, and you get to see and hear so many amazingly talented musicians,” says chef Chauhan.

Go for a hike at Radnor Lake.

“Radnor Lake is a thing of beauty — our family loves to enjoy great hikes, beautiful scenery, wildlife, and more here, and it’s only minutes away from downtown Nashville,” says Rose. The state park boasts over 1,300 acres of nature preserve, and the Lake Trail is accessible for those with all-terrain wheelchairs.

See a performance at Ryman Auditorium.

Chef Mantuano says that seeing a show at the Ryman is a “truly religious experience.” Known as the “Mother Church of Country Music,” the Ryman has more than 2,300 seats and has hosted acts like Elvis, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Lizzo, and Harry Styles over the last 130 years. To immerse yourself in this landmark’s history, take a tour (either guided or self-guided) through the venue.

Spend a day at Cheekwood.

Depending on the season and the weather, Cheekwood Estate and Gardens is the perfect place to explore with the whole family. The 1930s estate includes a 30,000-square-foot mansion and 55 acres of gardens. Visitors can purchase tickets to access the botanical garden, arboretum, and museum, and there’s also a 1.5-mile woodland trail with outdoor sculptures.

Attend CMA Fest.

Larry McCormack/ABC via Getty Images

“ CMA Fest , which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023, is the largest and longest-running country music festival in the world,” says Purcell. Recent performers have included Darius Rucker, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, and BRELAND. The 2024 festival will be held June 6 through June 9.

Catch one of the rotating exhibits at the Frist Art Museum.

Housed in a building that formerly served as the city’s main post office, the Frist Art Museum has no permanent collection, and its mission is to “inspire people through art to look at their world in new ways.” “This is a really approachable yet super high-quality museum. They do a great job of mixing internationally known selections with local artists,” says DiMenna.

Learn about Nashville’s recording history at RCA Studio B.

RCA Studio B , described by Purcell as a “time capsule and working studio,” is a Nashville music staple, known for its role in making Nashville the recording center it is today. A guided tour allows you to see where the “Nashville Sound” came to be, and where country and pop stars like Dolly Parton, Charlie Pride, Waylon Jennings, and Elvis once recorded some of music’s most iconic songs.

Browse the Fisk University Galleries.

Travelers interested in American art and American history should make a point to visit Fisk University, Nashville’s historically Black university. The Fisk University Galleries — including the Carl Van Vechten Gallery and the Aaron Douglas Gallery — showcase pieces by Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keefe, and Diego Rivera, among other artists.

Hear the Nashville Symphony.

Music comes in all forms in Nashville. If your tastes lean more classical than country, listening to the Nashville Symphony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center may be more up your alley. “The building is an architectural gem with incredible acoustics, and the musicians are among the world’s best,” says chef Mantuano.

The Best Instagram Spots In Nashville, Tennessee Nashville The Best Instagram Spots In Nashville, Tennessee The Best Instagram Spots In Nashville, Tennessee

  • October 8, 2017

Recently, my daughter Rachel and I took a 4-day trip to Nashville, Tennessee.  Nashville is only a 3 1/2 hour drive from our home in Memphis.  Especially when Rachel was a competitive dancer, we made frequent trips to Nashville for dance conventions and great shopping.

For our latest trip, Rachel and I wanted to actually visit Nashville like real tourists (read How to Spend 4 Days in Nashville, Tennessee ).  Although I was interested in food and history areas, Rachel wanted to plot out the best Instagram spots.  Now give me a good landscape or back drops of delicious looking food, and I’m very comfortable behind the camera.  However, when it comes to taking pictures of myself, I quickly revert back 40 years to my awkward, uncomfortable junior high self!

My 20 year old daughter, Rachel,  is more of the “Insta-worthy” expert.  So I put her in charge of finding the prime Nashville Instagram spots and teaching me how to pose so I wouldn’t look awkward!  If you like our pics, check out and follow our Instagram feed !

Click here for Nashville, Tennessee Hotel Deals  !

The best instagram spots in nashville, tennessee, downtown nashville.

Just a few blocks from the downtown/nightlife area is the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge that starts around the Johnny Cash Museum (on the downtown side) and crosses the Cumberland River to the Nissan Stadium.  There are great views on either side of the bridge.  Go at dusk for some great lighting.  Stay until dark to see the lights of Nashville!

Cross the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge at dusk for a great shot!

The Gulch is an upscale neighborhood that is a popular spot for young urbanites.  We found free parking (for 1 hour) close to the famous, “What Lifts You Mural” on 302 11th Ave. S..  Stay after picture taking to dine at fantastic restaurants!

Fun “What Lifts You” Mural! We saw some great pet and kid pics being taken in front of the little wings, but I love Rachel’s pic in front of them, too.

Right across the street from the “What Lifts You” Mural:

This geometric mural is right next to a green organic mural. We were running out of parking time and couldn’t get a pic of the green mural.

We spent quite a bit of time in this trendy neighborhood.  For one thing, it was blazing hot and the idea of shopping in cool air conditioning sounded super appealing, but there was also a variety of great eats!  The famous “I believe in Nashville” mural and the blue/white mural face each other (2706 12th Ave. S.), granting you 2 shots in one stop.

My baby girl, Rachel, outside the Draper James shop (isn’t she pretty?)

We had to wait in line to take this picture. It is a very popular spot!

East Nashville

East Nashville is an old, historic neighborhood that has a very low-key atmosphere.  It is home to lots of artists and a great place to spend an afternoon.  Don’t forget to check out their snapchat filters!

The Barista Parlor is a cool coffee shop located at 519 Gallatin Ave B.   Be sure to look for the mural on the back side of the Barista Parlor sign.

Located at 600 Main Street on the side of the Joyner and Hogan building

May I suggest you wear pink when posing in front of this simple, but eye catching wall on the side of a beauty supply shop (714 Gallatin Ave).

Hillsboro Village

Hillsboro is a 4-block neighborhood located near Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities.  Besides having the Pancake Pantry where you will die of pancake goodness, there is also great shops, boutiques, and cafes.

The Dragon Mural is located between the Posh and Pangea boutiques.

If the cars are in the way, just take some close ups! Find this color popping mural at 1602 21st Ave. South.

If you like to take pictures of your shoes (Rachel does, me not so much), step inside the Dress Up boutique at 1704 21st Ave S. Their clothes are super cute, too!

West End is most famous for the relaxing Centennial Park where there are Instagramable shots around every walkway, including a full scale replica of the Greek temple, the Parthenon.  Before heading to Centennial Park, stroll down West End avenue for cute shops and cafes!

Right outside the Three Brothers Coffee shop (at 2813 West End Ave) is an extremely photogenic coffee bar. Step inside for delicious coffee and pastries. Rachel and I highly recommend it!

Indranil Chowdhury

Looks like you guys had a super fun trip! Loved the photos 🙂

Yes, we did! It was a fantastic mother/daughter trip!

I love this post! I found my first pair of angel wings in Los Angeles and loved them. These ones are beautiful and look like lace. Awesome shots getting all the lovely colors!

This was our second angel wings to find. Our first set was in San Antonio, Texas!

Love those spots with the colorful wall art. They are definitely going on Instagram.

It was a great way to explore the city and get some great Insta-shots!

I did a similar post after visiting Nashville and finding some street art! If I hadn’t been there with my parents who I was dragging along until I found at least 5 murals, I would have found more. You found a lot that’s for sure! #FeetDoTravel

My daughter was the one dragging me around! I’m glad you had a great trip!

These are some really great IG worthy spots. And you fit into these so well, as if you belong there 🙂 How did you spot each one of these? Why I ask is because, many a times we pass besides one, but don’t realize how it can be a perfect background for a pic.

My daughter is an Instagram wizard. She did lots of research before our trip and planned out our outfits to match the murals!

Trippin' Turpins (Kelly)

I love all the street art! Especially the angel wings.

The angel wings are so much fun. We found some similar ones in San Antonio, Texas.

Paul and Carole

Well your daughter certainly found them, great photos! Looks a fun trip and you can’t beat family time! #feetdotravel

Especially since my daughter is away most of the year in college, we try to make the most of our time together.

Paula - Gone with the Wine

This was such an original and fun idea for a post! You have found some really cool spots. I should try finding something like this from my city. I will keep this in mind if I come to Tennessee.

Glad you liked the idea!

Madhurima Maiti

That’s an amazing list you’ve put together. Very original post! Noted down all of them down and I am surely going to check out these places when I’ll be visiting. Thanks for the post.

Thank you for stopping by!

Awesome collection of music, food and IG spots definitely makes Nashville a must see place.

Luckily, we only live a couple of hours away!

I liked the cover image of your post. And it gave me the illusion that water was actually moving! Do you use mobile phones for taking pics?

I mainly use my camera, a Canon Rebel.

Angie (Feetdotravel)

Yes I want to go to Nashville! And Memphis (I’m an Elvis fan!). What fantastic colourful photos you have captured, good on your daughter for showing you an eye-catching way of photographing, can I borrow her as well please? Pinned for when I visit #feetdotravel

She loves to travel, so I’m sure she wouldn’t mind being borrowed! If you’re an Elvis fan, you definitely need to plan a trip to the home of rock n’ rock! I’d love to show you around.

My neighbor is in Nashville and send me a message just now. What a coincidence! That place really rocks!

Yes, it does! We are very fortunate that we only live a couple of hours away!

This is very useful, I know when I visit a city I want to know where to take the best Instagram shots. I must remember to wear pink in Tennessee so I can match the wall on Gallatin Ave!

Of course you should wear pink!!

Great shots Carmen. You & Rachel look like you were having a fantastic Thelma & Louise time. There’s nothing like a mother/ daughter getaway! 🙂

We did have a great time! Before I married Joe, it was just my daughters and me for about 6 years. I still try to make time to do things with just us girls.

Sandy N Vyjay

These are really cool locations for some really stunning pictures. My favourite is the Murals. Looks so cute.

Glad you like the pics!

Wow, I really enjoyed these!. I just moved from California to Indiana. I have been to Nashville and loved it so as you can imagine, now that I am closer, I very excited to explore Nashville again. I will have to do some of these and this blog is going to be pinned to my travel board.

Hope you can explore Nashville again soon!

Top Photo-Worthy Spots in Nashville

Nashville isn’t just a city; it’s a visual symphony that harmonizes rich cultural history, vibrant street art, iconic landmarks, and a contemporary urban landscape. From the legendary Music Row to the eclectic murals scattered throughout neighborhoods, every street corner in Nashville offers a photographic opportunity waiting to be captured. The city’s dynamic personality unfolds against the backdrop of iconic venues like The Ryman and modern architectural gems, providing a juxtaposition of tradition and innovation.

Whether it’s the retro charm of boutique hotels, the lively atmosphere of rooftop bars, or the allure of vintage shops, Nashville beckons visitors to explore its diverse tapestry, inviting them to freeze moments that encapsulate the spirit of this lively and ever-evolving southern hub.

From Instagram-worthy pictures to capturing memorable sights, below are the best Nashville photo spots. We’ve broken down the best street art, best views at night, notable hotels and restaurants, and best ways to see our favorite photo spots in Nashville.

Local Street Art

Nashville has a thriving street art scene, where both local and internationally acclaimed artists have celebrated the city’s vibrant energy and rich history by creating works of art. Dotted around the city, you’ll find that many sides of Nashville buildings serve as a canvas for artists to create a space for whimsy and fun. There are countless murals dotted around the city, some with long lines of people waiting to take a photo and others hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Another thing to see in Nashville is the 178 permanent public artworks consisting of Nashville’s Public Art Collection . Below, we’ve listed some of the popular (and our favorite) murals and statues to photograph in Nashville.

The classics:

  • “ What Lifts You ” is the iconic two-story angel wing photo that many would say is the most recognizable in Nashville (302 11th Avenue South).
  • Jimi Hendrix moved to Nashville in the ‘60s to hone his stage performance, and his likeness rests on the side of the W Hotel (300 12th Ave South).
  • “ Candy Hearts ” is a nod to the candy heart Valentine’s Day treat with sweet and sassy messages, and a must-stop for Bachelorette parties (601 8th Avenue South).
  • “Drippy Lips” is a playful wall of vibrant lipstick stains and is perfect for a modern, edgy photo stop (1814 21st Avenue South).
  • The iconic white- and bright-blue-striped wall of the Draper James store matches the southern hospitality and playful vibes of the flagship store inside (2608 12th Ave South).

Some of our personal favorite murals in Nashville:

  • What would Dolly do? She would take a selfie in front of her colorful, playful mural at The Five Spot (1006 Forrest Avenue).
  • Galactic Gardens is a mesmerizing blend of cosmic artistry, transforming the urban space into a celestial dreamscape ( 800 Fort Negley Boulevard).
  • The “Molly Green” mural mirrors the chic and trendy aesthetic of the Molly Green brand, adding a touch of fashionable flair to the stree t (918 Main Street).
  • The “Love Y’all” mural may be simple but it encapsulates Southern warmth and friendliness that Nashville is known for (2020 Lindell Avenue).
  • “Just a Few Gents” brings a touch of sophistication with a large helping of quirky in this easy-to-miss mural (2318 12th Avenue South).
  • Revive encapsulates the motivational message of renewal and revitalization (144 5th Avenue North).
  • “Go slay all the dragons that stand in your way” is an empowering mural that delivers a motivational message alongside artistic dragon imagery (1224 Meridian Street).

Statues with BPE (big-photo-op-energy):

  • “ Ghost Ballet ” adds a contemporary flourish to the East Bank of the Cumberland River between Nissan Stadium and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
  • “Musica” is a bronze statue that sits upon a grassy knoll at the center of the Music Row Roundabout, representing the various genres and forms of music that define Nashville.
  • “Owen Bradley” sits at the entrance to Owen Bradley Park, the gateway to Music Row and pays tribute to the influential music producer.
  • “The Recording Angel,” found outside of Schermerhorn Symphony Center, is the serene guardian who represents the spirit of inspiration over the city of Nashville.
  • The “Stix” sculpture can be found in the middle of the roundabout at 8th Avenue and Korean Veterans Boulevard, adding an abstract and modern contrast to the park’s classical architecture.
  • “Threshold,” the giant gear ring embedded in the sidewalk along the East Bank Greenway, makes a natural frame for a cute group photo.
  • “Athena,” located inside the world’s only full-scale reproduction of the ancient Parthenon, stands at nearly 42 feet tall and is the tallest indoor sculpture in the Western world (**there is a fee to see the statue).

Whether you’re walking along the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, grabbing a drink at the SkyBar Capitol View or walking near Cumberland Park, have your phone ready for a stunning nighttime photo.
  • Printer’s Alley : This area located downtown is a vibrant nightlife district dotted with eye-catching murals and neon lights.
  • Tennessee State Capitol: Not much has changed of this monumental building since 1859, and its imposing architecture is beautifully lit at night.
  • Country Music Hall of Fame : While the inside of the museum may be extraordinary, the outside at night is also a sight to see, especially at night when the pinnacle (modeled after the WSM Radio Tower) and front window (resembling piano keys) are lit up.

38 Things to Do in Nashville for First Timers (with hidden gems)

Share with your friends!

Although Nashville is the bachelorette capital of the USA and known for the birth country music, after spending a week here, I learned that it’s SO much more than that.

History, hospitality, food, all genres of music…the energy here is unmatched.

Here are the top things to do in Nashville, Tennessee, especially if you’re a first time visitor.

This list includes the main attractions as well as a few hidden gems, and nothing that’s not worth seeing.

Because I don’t want to waste your time by listing absolutely everything possible you can do in Nashville (hint, there’s too much).

These are only the places, sights, experiences and activities that are worth your valuable time in Nashville.

This post contains affiliate links, meaning if you click through and make a purchase I may make a small commission. I only share information about things I know, love and trust!

Lower Broadway Honky Tonks

visit nashville instagram

Nicknamed the honky tonk highway, in downtown Nashville you’ll find Lower Broadway, home of the honky tonks and the best place for nightlife.

This street full of live music is probably the number one attraction in Nashville.

Along 6 blocks you’ll find over 40 bars, and they all have live music every day!

It’s not just nightlife here, the music runs from 10am to 3am everyday.

Some of these bars are even 2 or 3 stories high with a different band or musician on each floor.

The live music is free, but tips are encouraged and appreciated.

And don’t miss checking out the side streets.

For example, the Wildhorse Saloon has the largest dance floor downtown and offers free line dancing.

Doc Holiday’s Bar

visit nashville instagram

Pay a visit to Doc Holiday’s Bar and add your name to a dollar bill and put it up anywhere in the bar. The entire place is covered in money.

It’s also the only bar left in downtown Nashville where you can smoke.

Printer’s Alley

visit nashville instagram

Printer’s Alley is a hidden gem that a lot of tourists miss. You’ll find it on church street between 3rd and 4th ave.

The narrow alley and all the lights and neon signs make this a magical spot.

It’s a little more lowkey than Broadway where you’ll find a little less country music and little more blues and jazz music.

But beyond that, there’s so much history here.

During prohibition, the various print shops here turned into speakeasies which blossomed into an underground bar scene and the reason why you’ll find quaint bars and pubs still there today.

Rascal Flatts and Gretchen Wilson were discovered at venues in Printers Alley.

Fun fact: Toby Keith recorded “I love this bar” at Lonnie’s in Printers Alley.

The Arcade is a historic shopping area in Nashville with Diagon Alley vibes!

It’s a hidden gem that everyone misses because it’s tucked away 2 blocks behind Broadway between 4th and 5th Avenues.

It was Nashville’s first enclosed shopping district, opened in 1902.

Ryman Auditorium

visit nashville instagram

The Ryman Auditorium is known as the mother church of country music and the birthplace of bluegrass and where the Grand Ole Opry was born.

Legends that have performed here include Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline and Hank Williams.

It’s also where June Carter first met Johnny Cash.

While the grand ole opry has since moved locations, you can still buy tickets for live concerts as well as take a tour of this historic building.

View tour info here.

Ryman Alley

visit nashville instagram

And while you’re there, walk down Ryman Alley, where you can literally walk in the footsteps of country music legends.

Performers would use the back door of the Ryman Auditorium to sneak through the back alley to tootsie’s orchid lounge for a drink after their shows.

Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge

visit nashville instagram

Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge is arguably the most famous honky tonk on Broadway, and you can’t miss the bright purple colored building.

It’s where Willie Nelson got his first songwriting job after performing here.

The most famous patrons who frequented here were Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and since I’m Canadian, a plug for Terri Clark who got her start here.

Grand Ole Opry

visit nashville instagram

You definitely need to enjoy a night at the Grand Ole Opry, which is not only a concert, but a live radio show that’s been running since 1925.

It’s the longest running radio broadcast in US history.

It’s known as the show that made country music famous.

Each Opry show features live performances by 8 or more artists that range from country music legends, up and coming artists and legendary songwriters.

On this night we saw Terri Clark and Jon Pardi perform among others!

You can also tour the building, learn about the history and go backstage if you didn’t manage to get concert tickets.

There are two ways for you to enjoy the Grand Ole Opry! The first one is to buy Grand Ole Opry Show Ticket . Another one is to take this Grand Ole Opry Admission with Post-Show Backstage Tour . Choose the best one for you and enjoy the time spent there!

Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Conservatory

visit nashville instagram

The Gaylord Opryland Hotel is the largest non-casino resort in the United States.

Not only is the hotel impressive, inside you’ll find a massive indoor garden and conservatory complete with a boat ride and waterfalls.

They also have stores and restaurants inside to complete your visit if you’re not an overnight guest.

Johnny Cash Museum

visit nashville instagram

If you’re a fan of the man in black, the Johnny Cash Museum is a must see in Nashville.

It’s small, but packed with history and all kinds of items from his personal and professional life.

Combine it with a meal at Sun Diner

visit nashville instagram

For an exceptional breakfast or lunch before or after your visit, try out Sun Diner next door.

It pays homage to Sun Records’ legendary artists, including Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash.

I may have ordered the crème Brule French toast more than once which is cinnamon bread dunked in a Rumchata batter.

Ernest Tubb Record Shop

Opened in 1947, this is the ultimate record shop where you’ll find almost every piece of country and bluegrass music.

Country Music Hall of Fame

visit nashville instagram

The country music hall of fame takes you through the origin of country music and bluegrass music all the way to current country rock stars.

This museum is massive and provides an in depth look at the most celebrated genre of music here in Nashville.

After exploring the exhibits, you can also take the Historic RCA Studio B tour.

Historic RCA Studio B

RCA Studio B is the famous recording studio which gave birth to the Nashville sound.

Many famous artists record here including Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton and many other legends.

Tip: save money and buy the combined Country Music Hall of Fame and RCA Studio B Tour ticket combo

Hatch Show Print

Hatch Show Print is the original letter press and poster print shop in Nashville, operating since the 1800s (and still going today).

On a tour here you’ll see the printmaking process in action, view iconic posters they’ve made for country music legends, as well as a chance to design and make your own print.

National Museum of African American Music

According to their website , the National Museum of African American Music is: “the only museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating the many music genres created, influenced, and inspired by African Americans.”

This is a brand new museum in Nashville and a must visit for any music fan.

Old Town Trolley Tour

visit nashville instagram

One thing I really enjoyed was taking the Old Town Trolley tour of some of Nashville’s biggest attractions.

It’s a hop on hop off style sightseeing tour full of all kinds of fun facts and history from your driver who narrates the whole way.

I recommend this for first time visitors and early on in your trip to get the lay of the land.

There’s 13 stops so you can see many different parts of the city and you can ride as many times all day.

Many of the Nashville attractions listed within this post are accessible from stops on the Trolley Tour.

View trolley tour prices & info here .

Bluebird Café

visit nashville instagram

The Bluebird Café is one of the most iconic spots for live music in Nashville – you might recognize it from the famous show of the same name.

Established in the early 1980s, this small venue features up-and-coming as well as hit songwriters in an intimate setting.

The vibe here is a listening room where the songs and the stories are the stars of the show.

It was here that I really came to appreciate how respected the songwriting community in Nashville is.

You might recognize some country stars that were discovered here, including Keith urban, Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift.

General Jackson Showboat Dinner Cruise

Cruise the historic Cumberland River on one of the country’s largest paddle-wheel boats, the General Jackson.

Enjoy the Nashville scenery from a different angle and catch the sunset if you do the dinner cruise and indulge in a home cooked southern meal on board.

After dinner, sip drinks and listen to live music from the boat decks.

This is another highly rated experience in Nashville.

View tour prices and info here.

Tour the Homes of the Stars

Did you know there are tons of famous country stars and musicians that call Nashville their home?

On this comfortable bus sightseeing tour you’ll pass by some of the most beautiful neighborhoods and homes of past and present Nashvillians, including Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon, Garth Brooks and many more.

Even if you’re not a fan of the rich and famous, this tour provides an in depth tour of some of Nashville’s most varied neighborhoods that most tourists miss.

Cowboy Boot Shopping

visit nashville instagram

Now, a lot of locals will tell you that the way they can spot tourists is those who wear cowboy boots and hats.

Because of this I was almost not going to bring my boots, but I’m so glad I did.

I ended up wearing them every single day – because I was tourist and so was everyone else who were rocking their boots.

And there’s no shame in that.

One of my favorite things to do was to go boot shopping and check out all the different and outrageous designs (and price tags) among the fresh leather smell.

Line Dancing Class

If you’re in Nashville, there’s no way you’re leaving this town without hitting a dance floor and joining in on a line dance!

If you need a little help or want to brush up on your moves, you can take part in a one hour line dancing crash course.

This is a really fun activity if you’re in town with some friends for a bachelorette or a birthday party.

Check out line dancing lessons here .

Tip – you can also learn to line dance for free at the Whiskey Saloon, just off Broadway where they offer line dancing lessons almost every night of the week on downtown’s largest dancefloor.

AA Foot Spa

visit nashville instagram

After a couple days of walking around town in your cowboy boots, this place is much needed.

This one is a major hidden gem in Nashville, it’s called AA Foot Spa, and it came recommended to us from a friend who regularly works the country music awards.

It was $40 for the most heavenly foot massage I’ve ever had. It’s a good 20 minutes south of downtown but well worth the drive or Uber ride.

You can find it at 224 Thompson Ln #B.

East Nashville

visit nashville instagram

East Nashville is across the Cumberland River and offers a really different vibe from the honky tonk country music atmosphere in downtown Nashville.

One of my favorite ways to tour this neighborhood was by going on the Brew Hop Brewery Trolley Tour.

It’s a hop on hop off trolley bus that takes you to 7 different breweries.

View prices & info for the Brewery Tour here .

Go Mural Exploring

visit nashville instagram

Nashville’s art scene was one of the biggest surprises about visiting this city.

I knew it had a few famous murals, but I didn’t realize you can find them on almost every corner it seems.

If you’re looking for a fun and free activity in Nashville, plan a day or an afternoon with your camera and go mural hopping.

If you don’t have a car, there are some fun guided mural tours you can join, like this one that brings you around in a golf cart .

Try Hot Chicken

visit nashville instagram

While some Nashville locals will tell you to visit Prince’s Hot Chicken, others will tell you to visit Hattie B’s.

Either way, you must try Nashville’s most famous food while you’re here – hot chicken.

We tried Hattie B’s where they’ve got different heat levels ranging from mild to shut the cluck up.

I went for the classic bone-in which is the most traditional way to get hot chicken and went for medium which had a bit of kick but not over the top.

Goo Goo Chocolate Co.

Goo Goo Chocolate Co. was the first company to make a combination chocolate bar in the USA.

If you love chocolate and want a taste of history, stop in for a goo goo cluster.

White Limozeen (Dolly Parton’s Bar)

visit nashville instagram

A unique place to have some drinks and small bites (especially if you’re on a girls trip) is White Limozeen, which is Dolly Parton’s bar.

Everything is pretty in pink. In the summer there’s also the rooftop patio with a pool.

You can find it at the top of the Graduate Hotel in midtown which is about 10 minutes west of downtown.

A visit to White Limozeen is only 1 of 16 unique things to do in Nashville on your Bachelorette party !

Hermitage Hotel

The Hermitage is an upscale, swanky hotel that’s been in downtown Nashville since 1910.

But the most interesting thing about them are the fancy bathrooms, decorated in art deco style. Stop in and ask to see them.

Belle Meade Plantation and Historic Site

visit nashville instagram

The Belle Meade Plantation dates back to the 1840s but was no ordinary plantation.

Here, they bred thoroughbred race horses, where famous bloodlines originated from including Seabiscuit.

There are a few different tours onsite – we chose to tour the mansion, which doesn’t allow photos or video inside, but I can assure you it was fascinating.

But the best part is that there’s a winery onsite, and you can tour the grounds with a glass of wine.  View tour info and prices here.

The Parthenon

visit nashville instagram

Nashville has a full scale replica of the Parthenon, which has earned this city the nickname, Athens of the South.

Inside, you’ll find beautiful art galleries.

Tip – this is included as a stop on the Old Town Trolley tour.

12 South Neighborhood

visit nashville instagram

The 12 South neighborhood was one of my favorite areas to visit, home to locally owned shops and restaurants, vintage stores and of course more murals.

The Gulch

visit nashville instagram

Closer to downtown is the Gulch – a higher end neighborhood with boutique shops, famous murals and great eateries.

You’ll find Biscuit Love which is very famous, and also Milk & Honey which was our go-to breakfast spot more than once.

But it’s very popular – sometimes there was a 2 hour wait!

We got lucky and got first come first serve bar seating both times.

Tip: book a golf cart neighborhood shopping tour and hit all the hot spots without having to walk.

Frist Art Museum

The Frist Art Museum is home to some of the most prestigious art exhibits in the country and the rotating exhibits are exceptional.

But not only that, the building itself is historically significant. Built in 1934, his building was originally Nashville’s main post office.

Marathon Motor Works

visit nashville instagram

Marathon Motor Works is a former automobile plant that’s been resurrected into a district full of shops, restaurants, distilleries, wineries,  recording studios and more.

The old brick building is unique and is one of the most popular stops on the Old Town Trolley tour.

Belmont Mansion

The Belmont Mansion is an ornate Italian-style villa that almost reminds one of a mini-Versailles.

It’s been beautifully preserved and it’s not far from downtown.

If you don’t have much time to get out of the city to see other mansions from the 1800s, this one is a great choice.

Jack Daniels Distillery

visit nashville instagram

It doesn’t get more Nashville than this – take a tour of Tennessee Whiskey at the Jack Daniel’s distillery.

It’s about 1.5 hours from Nashville (in Lynchburg), so the easiest way to enjoy the tour and tasting is to join this day trip bus tour.

Visiting the Jack Daniel’s Distillery is one of the best and highest rated day trips from Nashville, and I definitely recommend making time to do this one.

View tour prices & info here.

Arrington Vineyards

If you’re in need of some stunning scenery and a glass of wine, Arrington Vineyards will take your breath away.

With picnic areas and live music throughout the summer months, this place is more than just your typical wine tasting experience.

🍷 Book your transportation to the Arrington Vineyard

Visit award-winning winery with this Arrington Vineyard Winery Round-Trip Shuttle Transportation from Nashville . Luxury round-trip transportation from Nashville will take you right to the Arrington Vineyards Winery!

Wille Nelson and Friends Museum

This place is a quirky little museum combined with a massive gift and souvenir shop.

Buy your admission tickets online to save a little money.

Catio Cat Lounge

The Catio Cat Lounge is a rescue agency that houses cats until they get adopted.

Until then, visitors are able to book a one hour session (for $12) to play and snuggle with the cats and kittens in their cat café. Check out their website for more info.

Where we Stayed in Nashville (first timers)

visit nashville instagram

Since we were in Nashville for 8 days, we wanted to stay in two different hotels.

We stayed at the Graduate Nashville (fancy) which is the perfect place for a girls trip because it’s home to White Limozeen – Dolly Parton’s all-pink rooftop bar!

We also stayed at Element Nashville Vanderbilt West End (budget).

We liked it because it was low cost, brand new and only a 10-minute drive to downtown/Broadway.

Each of these hotels worked really well for us even though we didn’t have a car.

We just used Uber everywhere and it was easy!

Hampton Social Club Address: 201 1st Ave South, Nashville, TN 37201 This was definitely a favorite Instagrammable place in Nashville. There is a wall of pink and white roses with a sign that reads Hey there Nashville ! It’s at the entrance to a popular brunch spot the Hampton Social Club. Honestly, these pictures don’t do it justice. It’s so dreamy in person!

Draper James Address: 2608 12th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37204 Reese Witherspoon definitely hit the mark with the wall alongside her store Draper Jame s. It’s got a preppy flare and is so pretty, the wall art + shop definitely match her aesthetic.

We Believe in Nashville Address: 2702 12th South Ave South, Nashville, TN 37204 This mural is across the alley way from Draper James. You can kill two birds with one stone by stopping here. And look at this picture. It screams tell me you went to Nashville, without telling me you went to Nashville.

The Essential Things to Know Before You Visit Nashville

By Meredith Carey

Nashville Broadway Strip

Nashville is nicknamed "Music City" for a reason, but it's the food , shopping, and Southern charm that keeps us coming back. If you can sidestep the bachelorette parties on Broadway and contain yourself when Taylor Swift walks by, you'll be blending in—and feeling so, so full of hot chicken, meat and threes, and biscuits—in no time.

How to Get Around

Don't take a bar bike or a party barge. What is a party barge, you might ask? An open-air limo that looks like a long, low-riding pick-up filled with intoxicated revelers. (If you're on a bachelorette or bachelor weekend—expect to see at least five on your trip—you'll probably ignore this batch of advice.)

Instead, use your own two legs to get around the easily walkable downtown and Germantown areas, where parking can be tricky. Public transportation in Nashville isn't the most reliable way to get around, as it's geared toward commuters. So if you're looking to go outside of those few pedestrian-friendly areas , which you will, you'll need to rent a car or use Uber or Lyft to get from place to place.

Don't bother the celebrities. When you see Nicole Kidman or Jack White or Tim McGraw, we give you full permission to freak out. On the inside. But in Nashville, Oscar-winning actors, Grammy-winning singers (country or otherwise), and celebrities are just normal Tennesseans, eating their breakfast at Biscuit Love , dropping their kids off at school, and cheering on the Titans just like anyone else. So unlike in Nashville , where photogs follow Hayden Panettiere and Connie Britton's characters around non-stop, you won't see paparazzi on your trip. And that means you shouldn't pick up in their absence. Let the famous people be.

Do respect the hot chicken ratings. If a menu or a waiter says the hot chicken you ordered is really hot, trust them. You're putting fried chicken seasoned with cayenne pepper and chili powder in your body and we'll be blunt: this is no joke. We've cried at Hattie B's Hot Chicken and Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack many times, mouths on fire, chugging water and milk like there's no tomorrow. But it's just so good.

If you're a spice wimp, don't take this as the chance to step up the spice (stick with mild or medium). If you're no stranger to spice—and we mean serious Scovilles here—go with hot or the next level up ("damn hot" at Hattie B's or "xhot" at Prince's). The highest heat levels ("shut the cluck up" or "xxxhot") are only for the certifiable.

Hot Chicken Restaurant Nashville Prince's

Prince's Hot Chicken is hot—trust us.

Do get off Broadway. We love Robert’s Western World as much as the next boot-stomper, but it isn't the only place to dance and sing the night away. There's The Station Inn in the Gulch for live bluegrass. Or Santa's Pub , a doublewide trailer that's got some of the best karaoke in the city. And, of course, The Bluebird Cafe , where many a singer-songwriter has found their start. You can buy tickets online if you're fast enough for one of the 20 available tables in the tiny space. If you can't snatch one up online, head over with a folding chair about two to three hours before the show, to get one of the 10 to 12 first-come, first-served seats available at the door. Look to the website for more information.

Manners Matter

No, you won't say "howdy" to greet people in Nashville. But like much of the South, please, thank you, sir, ma'am, and a good helping of eye contact are all the norm. Even with more than ten million tourist visiting each year, people are neighborly even with strangers. (And yes, "y'all" is a thing.)

What to Wear

Nashville gets pretty hot (90 degrees is normal for August) and pretty cold (temps can drop below 30 in January), so check the weather to dress accordingly. But anything goes in Nashville, which has a relaxed atmosphere citywide. The weather is the biggest factor in your packing decisions, as you can get into most restaurants wearing shorts, jeans, dress pants, skirts, or whatever you've got hanging in your closet.

If you want to wear cowboy boots, go for it. You can even pick some up in town (go to the Lucchese outpost in the Gulch neighborhood for hand-stitched, high quality boots or to Goodbuy Girls in East Nashville for refurbished vintage options) before heading home. But—these things always come with "but"—treat them with respect. Don't walk your new $400 leather boots into a Broadway honky tonk.

Don't wear a cowboy hat. You aren't on a farm, at a rodeo, or in a 90s country music video.

Nashville Murals

Find a fun and unique photo opportunity at one of the impressive murals that can be found throughout Nashville. Created by local and internationally known artists, murals can be seen on the side of restaurants, shops, garage doors, water tanks, and even old silos. Take a photo, make a memory, and share it with the world.

Police searching for suspect in fatal Nashville shooting of musician Chris King, 32

Trippie Redd In Concert in Miami

Police in Nashville, Tennessee, are searching for a suspect in a shooting that killed rapper Chris King and injured another man on April 20.

King was killed while hanging out in an alleyway with a group of his friends, including the other victim, between Hayes and Church streets in Nashville, police said in an April 20 statement .

It was in the alley that three other men — whom King’s group did not know — approached the group, police say.

“The (surviving) 29-year-old victim reported the group was hanging out cordially for some time before the three suspects attempted to rob his group of friends,” according to a release from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. “It was then that he heard gunfire and realized he was struck.”

The 29-year-old victim has not been publicly identified by police. King, 32, died after being taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

In a new statement on April 22 , the Nashville Police Department said one of the three suspects in the shooting has been identified as 19-year-old Adrian Cameron Jr.

Cameron was out on bond in connection with the September 2021 murder of Josh Evans, Nashville PD said, and had an ankle monitor as part of those conditions.

"Data from the monitor shows it was cut off shortly after Saturday’s shooting," Nashville PD said.

Police are asking for info on his whereabouts or on the identities of the other two men. The Nashville PD did not immediately respond to TODAY.com’s request for comment on April 24.

In a post to his Instagram story on April 21, pop star Justin Bieber mourned the death of King, whose birth name is Christopher Cheeks.

“Love you bro. This one hurts. Please keep his family in your prayers,” Bieber posted, the Los Angeles Times reported. “See you in paradise brother.”

Bieber and King were once roommates, King previously shared on social media, and lived together for more than a year “almost 10 years ago.”

“Glad some people never change no matter what,” King wrote in a post celebrating his friend in December 2023. “(A)ll love, forever extended family.”

Other celebrities also mourned King’s death.

“I love you until we meet again twin!” fellow rapper Trippie Redd posted to Instagram . “I would not be where I am today without @whoischrisking he introduced me to @elliotgrainge & @milothelight 🙏 and he had the best energy always he had so many friends and it shows I love you guys for supporting one of my best friends ever my brother.”

In the comments, Machine Gun Kelly responded to Redd, writing that “Chris (King) was rare.”

Actor Keke Palmer also posted about King , writing about their time coming up together in the industry alongside an old photo of her video chatting with King from years ago.

“I wish I had more photos but it’s actually perfect because this is exactly how it began,” she wrote. “I can’t believe I’m saying rest in peace. This is terrible. I really don’t know what to say. I just want to share that I loved you and I remember all the city walk, grove moments.”

Palmer seems to be referencing two Los Angeles shopping landmarks — both City Walk and The Grove are outdoor pedestrian malls.

She added that King had been “my high school.”

“When we were babies before everyone knew you was a real rockstar. We were kids!” she wrote . “And you always knew how to make everyone laugh. Your kindness was present no matter what room you were in, everybody was and wanted to be your friend. We will miss you until we meet again, rest heavenly brother.”

Nashville PD said in its April 20 statement its “Homicide Unit detectives are working strong, active leads” into the early Saturday morning shooting.

Anyone with information about the fatal shooting of King is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.

Beyoncé sends 2-year-old Philippines boy flowers after viral video

M ost of us wouldn't dare ask the question, but Tyler Fabregas is a confident 2-year-old boy. "Where's Beyoncé ?" he asked his mother in a viral TikTok video she posted last week from Manila, Philippines.

"Beyoncé's in her house, baby," his mother, Bea Fabregas, replied.

"She's our friend," Tyler insisted.

The toddler was rewarded with a bouquet of blue and white flowers alongside a stuffed dinosaur toy sent by Beyoncé herself, who watched the video and reached out to the family through her representatives.

"For the record @beyonce  and Tyler are now actually, officially friends!" Fabregas captioned an Instagram post on Wednesday. "Through the power of Queen B's internet (millions of views and likes it's crazy!) she saw the video and sent over some of her favorite blue flowers, a new animal best friend for Tyler and the sweetest message that our family will now always treasure."

According to Fabregas, Beyoncé's note was addressed to "my friend Tyler" and included the message, "I see your halo, Tyler," a reference to the superstar's 2008 hit, "Halo."

The Instagram post included screenshots of an exchange between Fabregas and Beyoncé's publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure.

"I am writing to you about the cutest video you posted with the little boy wanting to visit Beyoncé'," Noel-Schure wrote, according to the post. "Are you his family? She would love to send something to him."

The original 1-minute TikTok video features a conversation between Tyler and his mother at what appears to be a shopping mall food court.

In between bites of pizza, Tyler asks, "Can I visit Beyoncé?" and assures his mom, "You know her personally! She's my friend." The video ends with Tyler playing with toy animals while "Texas Hold 'Em," Beyoncé's 2024 barrier-breaking country single , plays in the background.

"I mean with the amount of mentions and videos Beyonce gets everyday, it still blows our mind to know time was set aside to send this sweet gift over," Fabregas wrote, adding, "Tyler maybe too young to remember all this, but i'll always remind him to dream big and shoot for the stars!! BEYONCE SENT MY BABY FLOWERS!!!!"

Beyoncé has created buzz several times in recent months by sending flowers to various celebrities and collaborators, including Jack White , K. Michelle , Reneé Rapp , Katie Couric , Megan Thee Stallion , Mickey Guyton and others.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Lionel Messi scored twice to increase his Major League Soccer-leading total to seven and also had an assist to lead Inter Miami over Nashville SC 3-1 on Saturday night.

Messi had his second two-goal game in MLS after scoring two against Orlando on March 2. He has a goal or assist in each of the six league matches he’s played, missing four because of injury.

Sergio Busquets scored his first goal with Miami since joining former Barcelona teammate Messi last summer. Luis Suárez, another ex-Barcelona teammate, assisted on Messi’s first goal.

“Very happy that the goal helped the team win the match,” Busquets said in Spanish. “What matters is the team and the victory. Today, I managed to score but the ultimate accomplishments are the positive results for our team.”

Miami (5-2-3, 21 points) is unbeaten in five matches against Nashville since Messi’s arrival. Miami also remained in first place in the Eastern Conference.

“We became very familiar with their style of play and that helped us today,” Miami defender Tomás Avilés said.

For the second consecutive week, Miami allowed a goal in the opening minutes when an own goal by Miami defender Franco Neri put Nashville ahead. Neri deflected Daniel Lovitz’s corner kick into the Miami net in the second minute.

That was the only goal for Nashville (1-6-1, 4).

Miami erased the early deficit with goals from Messi and Busquets in the 11th and 39th minutes.

Nashville goalkeeper Elliot Panicco deflected Messi’s 12-yard shot to an open Suárez, who immediately tapped it to Messi. With Panicco out of position, Messi converted a sliding shot inside the 6-yard box for the equalizer.

“We didn’t play good football during the first 10 minutes but that changed after Leo’s goal,” Inter Miami coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino said. “We started finding our space and created opportunities.”

Busquets scored the tiebreaker as he headed Messi’s corner kick to the near post past Panicco. It was Busquets’ first goal since 2022, when he was with Barcelona.

Goalkeeper Drake Callender kept Miami ahead when he made a diving deflection of Hany Mukhtar’s 35-yard blast in the 55th minute.

Messi gave Miami a two-goal cushion, converting on a penalty kick in the 81st minute. Nashville’s Josh Bauer fouled Leo Alfonso on the edge of the penalty area then Messi beat reserve goalkeeper Joe Willis inside the right post.

Messi’s former Barcelona teammate Jordi Alba didn’t play because of a hamstring injury. Diego Gomez also exited after he sustained an ankle injury late in the first half. Martino said Gomez will undergo additional tests to determine the severity of the injury.

Miami will visit New England next Saturday, while Nashville hosts San Jose.
